A World Beyond My Imagination
There is nothing that important to be said about me, I am just your run-of-the-mill sixteen year old who enjoys playing video games, hanging out with friends and all kinds of things you'd expect a teenager like me to do. Recently, I've been trying to pick up a new hobby, purely to just spice up my life with something fun, like playing the guitar, baking, painting and etc. I am legally allowed to drive, which is better than taking an Uber everywhere, but I'm not sure if that's the right option for me.
Now, I'm not trying to say my life was boring or anything, but it's just that my life can be described in just one word, simple, and I long for the day that something out of the ordinary and special would happen. But as the phrase goes, you should be careful what you wish for...
It was a late night, the streets seemed empty and abandoned as I could hear a few dogs barking at the night. Although it can get pretty annoying, especially when you're trying to study for an upcoming test, but at some point, you start getting so used to it, that it becomes a routine thing.
The reason why I was walking out there at this time of night was because I was spending the day with one of my friends and we played video games well into the night and I had just lost track of time. My dad is known for losing his temper quite easily, so if he sees that I missed their curfew, he would't exactly be that laid-back, he'd most likely yell at me and make me do chores around the house.
As I thought about how my parents would react to my late arrival, my ears picked up the faint sound of footsteps coming from somewhere behind me, turning around, I spotted a dark and mysterious figure in the distance, not saying a word. I was unable to see what the figure looked like, until a nearby streetlamp shone down on the man and I saw that he was dressed from head to toe in pure black, black jacket, black pants, black gloves and black hair, complete with a black hood. The figure didn't say or do anything, but I still got a bad feeling in my stomach.
This is where things start to get a bit creepy, the figure then wordlessly started walking towards my direction. I was a bit unnerved by this whole ordeal, but I needed to get out of there as soon as possible, otherwise this man would do who-knows-what to me.
As the man was slowly starting to get closer, my legs finally allowed me to run away. When I thought I was a good distance away from the man, I glanced back and expected to see the man running after me, but instead, there was nobody there, he had somehow disappeared. I was both confused and relieved by this as I slowly came to a halt as I looked back to where the man previously was.
"Okay, this is really starting to freak me out!" I proclaimed to myself quietly. "But at least he's gone now."
But I had spoken too soon, as I started to walk again, I saw the same figure from earlier right in my face. I was going to question how he had gotten in front of me that quickly, but I was too startled to speak and all that came out of my mouth were just nonsensical gibberish.
The man started walking towards me ominously, my body was telling me to run away, but I was too tired to do so. After what seemed like a lifetime of the man staring at me, the man then reached into his jacket and slowly pulled out a small, sharp instrument. A knife...
As soon as I laid my eyes on the weapon, I instantly turned around and just when I was about to run off, the man quickly grabbed me and raised his arm holding the knife. I squirmed and shook, trying desperately to escape the mysterious man's grip, but to no avail. Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain in my gut as I let out a loud, agonizing scream.
I looked down to see what the cause of this pain was and saw the knife in my stomach as blood began to seep through my shirt. I looked up at the man and he looked back at me with a crooked smile. All of a sudden, my vision became hazy as I collapsed to the ground. The last thing I saw was a women running out of her house nearby while screaming and crying, and then, everything went completely dark...
When I woke up, I had no idea how many hours had passed, but I couldn't help but notice that I was currently in what looked like a hospital bed as I heard a heart monitor beeping from beside me, occasionally interrupting the silence in the room.
I let out a huge sigh of relief knowing that I was now safe from that psychotic man, I wondered how my parents are going to react when they find out that their son had been severely injured, my mom would probably be worried sick about me, and I don't really know how my dad will react to this, given his attitude.
I ripped off the blanket over top of me to see that my body was wrapped in bandages, the blood could be seen seeping them in a deep, crimson red. The pain was still there, but it was a bit more muffled than before.
I then heard voices from behind the door talking to each other, I couldn't make out what they were saying, but I assumed it had something to do with my current state. Suddenly, I saw the doorknob begin to jiggle, my reflexes kicked in at full force and I quickly covered myself with the blanket and waited for the person to enter the room. The door then opened and what I saw.. was not a person, not even close.
This figure resembled what looked like to be a horse, but with a more chubby body structure. In appearance, this horse had light blue eyes with very prominent eyelashes, I guess she was a female horse, or to be more specific, a mare. She had a pearl white coat of fur and a creamy pink mane which was tied neatly in a bun and she also wore a white nurse hat. But that wasn't the only strange thing about this horse, she also had what appeared to be some of symbol of a red cross on its flank. Naturally, I was a bit shocked to see a horse working as a nurse, but didn't say anything. This pony then walked up beside me.
"Oh good, you're awake." She said, examining me closely. "Twilight Sparkle found you blacked out and bleeding in the Everfree Forest and brought you here, we were able to heal your injuries, but you'll have to stay here for a few days."
Twilight Sparkle? Who's that?
"Okay, I'm obviously hallucinating right now." I said aloud. "How else would I see the nurse as a talking pony?"
The nurse pony looked at me with a confused look. "Um.. no, you're not hallucinating. Oh sorry, where are my manners?" She then cleared her throat before continuing. "My name is Nurse Redheart, what's yours"
I couldn't believe that this was actually happening to me, a pony was talking to me in full sentences? This had to be a dream, it just had to be, it's the only logical explanation, there's no physical or possible way that I had somehow traveled to an alternate dimension or something along those lines. But now that I'm looking closer at this pony, I had to admit that she did look really adorable. So, I responded to her earlier question, but not without stuttering.
"M- My name is Lukas, I-I am a human." Okay, so far so good.
"A human?" The pony now named Nurse Redheart asked while tilting her head. "I got to say, I've never seen a species quite like you before, Lukas."
"Really?" I asked. "So, what you're saying is that.. I'm basically the only human here?"
"I guess so." She answered, just as confused as I were.
"Wow." Was the only thing that I could say. "I know I wanted something special to happen in my life, but this is just ridiculous!" I exclaimed to myself, before looking over at Nurse Redheart. "How long did you say that I had to stay here?"
"Just for a few days, would you like me to get you a book to read?" She questioned.
"No thanks, I'll just sit here and clear my mind." I replied, she gave me a small nod and walked out, leaving me alone with my thoughts, and I had many of them.
As I laid on the bed of this strange, pony-infested hospital, a million thoughts began rushing through my head, all centering on what had just happened to me. I just couldn't see how any of this was even possible in the first place. I mean, it's not every day that you'd magically get transported to some pony world with no explanation, other than the fact that someone just found me in some kind of forest, but that still doesn't tell me much. Wait a minute, wasn't I in the street when I got stabbed? Did that man bring me to that forest? But that's all in the past, for now, I have to focus on the present. On the plus side, my memory was starting to get better. But I'm probably just over-reacting about this, I'm sure I could somehow find a way back home.
But I was sadly mistaken...
I was in that hospital for what felt like an eternity, just trying to make sense of it all, but I was well and truly stumped over my current situation, I guess I'll just have to roll with it for now. But at least I wasn't alone, every once and a while, the pony doctors came in to check on me, I tried to keep my cool when they arrived and that was proven to be a success.
As my mind soon focused more on the fact that I am currently in some kind of talking pony world, Questions started circling around my mind, was I even on Earth anymore? Was I dead? Is this all some kind of weird lucid dream? I had so many questions, but only so few answers.
All of a sudden, the sound of the door opening interrupted my thoughts. I looked over and saw Nurse Redheart entering the room with a slight grin present on her face.
"Oh, Hey Nurse Redheart, what's the news?" I asked with a hint of nervousness in my tone.
"Well Lukas, I have some good news for you." Nurse Redheart cheered. "We're checking you out of the hospital right now!"
"Really?" I wondered, all matter of nervousness gone in my voice. "Well, that's cool, I've been wanting to leave for a long time now." As much as I was confused about where I was, I was also actually kind of curious of what this world had to offer.
"Just let me take off your bandages first."
The next thing I knew, Nurse Redheart leaned over me and started taking off my bandages, It kind of felt a bit weird to have a talking pony tending my injury, but at least she was being careful. At last, all of my bandages were off without any trace of blood in its wake.
"Okay, that should do it." She said proudly. "Now take care of yourself, Lukas."
"Thanks for all your help." I called as I left the emergency room.
I walked through the hospital as I saw more talking ponies around and they saw me as well. They didn't say anything, instead, they just stared at me in pure disbelief, I started to feel like they were all judging me by the looks on their faces. I made my way out of the hospital to see the outside of this world for the first time.
As soon as I opened the doors, the bright shine of the sun pierced my eyeballs, causing me to flinch back and cover my eyes, and after my eyes had adjusted to the brightness, I took my hands away from my face and saw what looked like a dirt road that led to a medieval village in the distance. Just briefly, I saw more ponies in the village walking around, I'm guessing that was the main town of this world.
I secretly had to admit to myself, this place looked like a pretty vibrant world and all the ponies here looked welcoming and friendly, even though this place looked like something I would see in a cartoon that my little sister would watch, I had to keep on track and not lose my train of thought about getting some information about where I was.
"Wow, this place does look pretty amazing, but I need to find out where the hell I am. Looks like I'm going to that village over there, I hope nobody freaks out about seeing me."
And with that, I started to make my way over to the pony village, every step I took, I got more and more nervous as the village came closer into my view. I had just walked a few feet away from the hospital, when I suddenly stopped dead in my tracks and spotted a wooden sign just outside the village that said. "Welcome to Ponyville!"
"Ponyville? what an original name." I said to myself, chuckling at my witty remark.
"What is that thing?"
Before I could start my walk towards Ponyville, I suddenly heard a quiet voice whisper, it sounded like it was female with its high pitch. So I turned around to where the voice had come from and it sounded like it was from a nearby bush, Then, I heard another female voice whisper "Shhhh" presumably to prevent the other one from making any more noises, wait a minute! How many of them were in that bush? So without really thinking about it, I slowly crept up towards the direction of the mysterious speaking bush. Just then, I saw a small filly's head slowly peek out of the bush, only for it to go right back in the bush.
"Wait! come out." I said calmly. "I'm not going to hurt you."
There was a brief moment of silence between us, until finally, one filly stepped out of the bush, followed by two more, and they all had worried looks on their faces, and all of them seemed to have eyelashes, so I assumed that they were all female, that would explain the female voices I heard. One of these fillies were light yellow with a red mane and tail, fashioned together by one big red bow and orange colored eyes. I looked at the symbol on her flank and it was of a purple shield with an apple in the middle.
Another filly looked to be an orange Pegasus with a hot pink mane and tail and purple colored eyes, the symbol on her flank was a purple shield as well, but this time, with a picture of a wing in the middle.
The last filly was a white unicorn with a fluffy light purple and pink mane and tail with green eyes, her symbol were the same as the other two's, a purple shield, but with a music note in the middle. I made a note in my head to learn about those symbols and what they meant.
"Hey, it's okay. You guys have nothing to worry about." I began.
"Wh-What are ya'll?" The yellow filly asked with a hint of a southern accent.
"Well, I'm a human." I answered.
"A human?" The white unicorn said in a confused voice as I nodded my head in response.
"Wow, you sure do look weird." The orange Pegasus commented.
"Scootaloo!" The yellow filly cried out, offended by the Pegasi's comment.
"Well he is! do you see him?" Scootaloo asked while pointing a hoof at me, trying to defend herself.
"Yeah but, you don't have to say it straight to his face." The yellow pony scolded, before turning over to me. "I'm sorry about her, I'm Apple Bloom."
"And I'm Sweetie Belle." The white unicorn added. "And we are the cutie mark crusaders!"
"Well, it certainly is a pleasure meeting you all. My name is Lukas and.." I paused. "Wait, what's a cutie mark? Are they the symbols you have on your flanks?"
"Yes indeed, a pony gets a cutie mark when they find a talent that makes them special."
"Hmm, that's interesting." I said, curious to learn more about this world, when suddenly...
"Cutie Mark Crusaders! Help!"
A young girl voice shrieked, interrupting our conversation. We all look to see a small young Pegasus running up towards us, this filly had light pink fur and a bouncy curly light blue mane and tail, both tied up in butterscotch yellow bands. Since she was too far away, I couldn't make out what her cutie mark was, but when she got closer and stopped right in front of use, I could see that it was a chess piece.
"What's wrong, Cozy Glow?" Asked Scootaloo.
"Professor Twilight is having a test about the magical artifacts of Equestria, and I could really use your help studying!" Cozy Glow said rather frantically.
"There's that name again."
"Don't worry, Cozy Glow, we'll be happy to help you." Sweetie Belle reassured her. "But first, you should meet our new friend, Lukas."
"Hello, Cozy Glow, it's nice to meet you." I said in the most casual voice I could muster.
Cozy Glow then let out a small yelp and dove to take cover in the same bush that the Cutie Mark Crusaders were hiding in, only for her to poke her head up a few moments later.
"Oh golly, I've never seen anything like that before." Cozy shivered nervously. "No offense."
"None taken." I replied.
"Alright, Cozy Glow. Let's go study!" Scootaloo declared as the CMC and Cozy Glow set off to who-knows-where.
"It was nice to meet you, Lukas." Cozy called as she flew off to catch up with the others.
"What an adorable group of fillies, I think I'm going to like it here." I thought as I finally started my trail towards Ponyville.
Although being in a different world with talking ponies was something that I never expected to do today, I shouldn't judge this world just for that alone, maybe it had more to offer than that, and the only way I was going to find that out was by going into this "Ponyville" and hopefully get some information about where on earth I am, that is, if I'm even on Earth anymore. Given what has happened to me over the past few days, the answer would be clear.
But before I could even step foot in the village, I allowed my brain a moment to think this through. Nurse Redheart, the CMC's and Cozy Glow all claim that they've never seen a creature like me before, therefore making me the only ever existing human in this world, which in itself is a crazy thought, so the ponies in this village would most likely panic when they all see me, well, either that, or they'll just stare at me in silence, I don't know which one would be worst. Regardless, I had to get some kind of information, and I wasn't going to get any by just standing there. So, I took a moment to prepare myself about what I was going to get myself into, and then, slowly, I made my way into the pony village.
Ponyville seemed to be some kind of utopia for all kinds of ponies, normal ponies, Pegasi and unicorns all roam the streets, which granted the name of this place, I shouldn't be too surprised. Suddenly, I heard sounds of talking coming from all around me, I looked around to see that all of the ponies had now noticed me walking by and were whispering to each other while staring at me in awe. Among the crowd, I saw a unicorn who was jumping in the air with a big grin on her face. She had a magic mint coat, brilliant cyan mane and tail with a white streak, sun glow eyes, and a cutie mark of a lyre, and standing next to her, was a pony with a beige coat, pigment blue mane and tail with a rose pink streak, cerulean eyes, and a cutie mark of three pieces of candy.
"Look, Bon Bon, look!" The unicorn said excitedly while nudging the pony next to her. "It's a human! I told you they were real!"
"Well, would you look at that?" Bon Bon said in amazement as she gazed at me, before turning back to the unicorn. "I guess you weren't crazy after all, Lyra."
"Wait a second, how does she know who I am?" I thought to myself.
But before I could go over there and ask her about it, two particular buildings caught my eye, they were both right next to each other and were only a few feet away from me, but they stuck out like a sore thumb against the dozens of medieval styled cottages. One of the buildings was the tallest one in the whole entire village as it was almost as high as the clouds, it also appeared to be made completely out of crystals and was in the shape of a castle, and the other building wasn't as big as the next door castle, but it was still quite big, it sort of resembled a school or something like that. So I guess that the ponies here have some kind of education system, which sounded fairly intriguing to learn about.
"Whoa! those buildings over there look pretty cool!" I gawked to myself. "I should go check them out."
The crystal castle towered over me as I walked up the golden steps and stopped in front of the golden doors with a pink pattern on them, I fully prepared myself for the unusual surprise that the resident of this place was going to see at their front door, after much preparation, I mustered up all the courage I had and walked over to the doors and knocked gently on the doors, hopefully alarming the pony or some other creature inside, but after some time standing outside, there was no answer, not even the sound of footsteps inside, it was just dead silent. Confused, I knocked on it again, this time a bit more louder, making sure that it could be heard throughout the whole castle, still no response.
"Well, this is weird." I said. "Who would leave their crystal castle unattended? Even if they did, they could've at least put some guards at the front door, it's like their just asking you to rob them."
I lifted up my hand to knock a third time, but just when I was about to, a thought struck me, causing me to slowly move my hand away from the two doors, considering the people inside this castle hadn't answered two times, I was starting to think of this as a lost cause, so I just assumed that the usual residents of this place weren't home. I looked over the my right and saw the school-looking building that seemed to be mounted on the side of the mountains, it truly looked nothing like the schools I'd see back in my world, but it sure did look flashy. It almost didn't look real, but then again, I've seen talking ponies that roam the streets, so nothing should be weird to me out at this point.
Now knowing that the occupants of the crystal castle weren't going to answer any time soon, and even if they did answer, they would most likely be shocked to see me, I decided to go check out the school next, or at least, it looked like a school, more like a university or something.
I walked up the pathway leading towards the school, getting a few glances and stares from the ponies nearby on the way as I marveled at the overall structure of this place, it was nothing like I've ever seen before, it looked like something that was straight out of a movie, but I didn't come here to criticize this world by their unusual buildings, so with a deep breathe and a little bit more confidence, I walked up the heart-shaped steps and stopped in front of the golden doors with blue windows, these ponies seem to really like their golden doors. But before I could open them, an abundance of ponies suddenly ran up behind me and burst open the doors in a total frenzy, some of the ponies accidentally ran into me as they galloped inside, the sudden impact causing me to spin around like a spinning top and land on the ground with a thud. Looking up from the ground, I saw a group of ponies walking inside of the school building, not even aware about what they just did to me.
"Man, those ponies are in a hurry to get to school." I groaned, rubbing my head.
"Whoa!, you alright?" My ears then picked up the sound of a male voice coming from behind me, looking up, I saw pale, light grayish colored pony with a light cyan and moderate opal mane and tail, light sea green eyes and a cutie mark of three sea turtles.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I insisted.
"Here, let me help you up." The pony offered, extending out his hoof and helping me back on my feet. "I'm Sandbar."
"Nice to meet you, Sandbar. I'm Lukas." I replied casually. "So, I'm guessing that this is a school?"
"It sure is." Sandbar answered with a grin, turning over to the newly established school. "The School of Friendship in all its glory." Sandbar then turned back to face me with a look of confusion, inspecting me from head to toe. "You know, now that I'm looking at you, I don't believe I've.."
"You've never seen a creature like me before?" I interrupted him in the middle of this sentence.
"How did you know what I was going to say?" Sandbar asked.
"Let's just say I've been around a while." I replied, completely desensitized by that comment.
"So, what are you, anyways?" He asked while tapping his chin with his hoof.
"I'm a human, the first one here as a matter of fact." I replied.
"Sandbar, there you are." A tomboyish voice called out,
We both looked over to where it was coming from to see a small group of creatures inside the school, six to be exact. There was a yak, a blue griffon, a pink female hippogriff, a pale, light grayish bug-like creature and an orange female dragon, who seemed to be the source of the voice.
"Wanna come with us and study for the.." But before the dragon could get his sentence out, her eyes then glanced over at me, her reaction was expected. "AAH! WHAT IS THAT!"
"It looks kind of like a..." The pale, light grayish bug-like creature began, but was quickly interrupted by a figure that resembled a yak, who stepped up bravely.
"Don't worry, Yona protect Sandbar!"
The next thing I knew, the yak, now named Yona, suddenly charged towards me with an enraged look on her face, but before she could seriously injure me, she was stopped by Sandbar, who swiftly jumped in the way as Yona came to a screeching halt.
"Yona, stop!" Sandbar cried out. "Guys, this is Lukas, he's a human."
"I knew it looked familiar." The bug creature exclaimed.
"Wait, you know about me as well?" I asked the bug creature.
"Uh-huh." She nodded, presenting the book she was holding, opening it, turning a few pages, and then showing us a page with a figure of a human on it. "It says so in "Ancient Equestrian Creatures."
"Oh, now I'm starting to remember." The orange dragon realized.
"Anyways." I began, trying to change the subject. "As you've heard from Sandbar here, my name is Lukas."
"Hi Lukas, my name is Silverstream, it's so nice to meet'cha" The hippogriff said eagerly.
"Hmm... I still don't know if i should trust you, Lukas." Said the dragon with a snarl. "I mean, how do we know you're not just planning to take over Equestria?"
"Because I've never been here before." I clarified.
"Oh right, I guess there's that." The dragon said, now a bit embarrassed at her accusation. "I'm Smolder, by the way."
"Um.. I'm Ocellus."
"What's up, I'm Gallus."
"And I'm Yona Yak, but human can call me Yona." The yak finished, bringing me in a crushing bear hug.
"Well, well, well. Look who's being nice now." I said as the yak released me from the hug.
"Yeah, Yona sorry." She said pitiful, her head lowered in shame.
"It's alright, Yona. You didn't know." I assured her as she smiled back at me. "Well it was a pleasure meeting all of you, but aren't you guys supposed to be studying or something?"
"Speaking of which." Smolder then flew over to Sandbar. "I was going to ask you if you wanted to join us in studying in the library."
"Sure, why not?" Sandbar agreed. "I don't really have anything else to do."
And with that, they were off as they walked away and into what I assumed was the library. This school had my curiosity, but now it has my attention...
Since Sandbar had told me that this was indeed a school, I was somewhat hooked on discovering the education system in a place where they are talking creatures, I know I should be more focused on finding a way back to my own realm, if there even is one, I decided that I needed to see what this world had to offer first before jumping into that. As I walked through the school, I then saw a familiar looking filly in the distance.
"Hey again, Cozy Glow." I greeted, walking up to her.
"Oh, hello Lukas." Cozy replied with a grin.
"So, how did your tutoring go with the CMC's?" I asked.
"It went swell. I'm definitely gonna ace this friendship test." She said confidently.
"Good for you." I encouraged her.
All of a sudden, her confident smile suddenly turned into a worrisome face. "But, to be honest, I'm a little bit nervous at the same time. What if I fail the test? What if Twilight sees that I'm not learning anything? What if she kicks me out of the school and bans me from ever stepping a hoof inside? What if.." Before the little filly could have a mental breakdown, I quickly clamped my hand over her muzzle, silencing her little crisis.
"Calm down, Cozy Glow!" I eased her, putting her tangent to rest. "I might know much about friendship as much as anyone else here does, but I guarantee that you're gonna pass this test, and nobody, and I mean nobody, can ever take that away from you." Cozy Glow still looked a bit scared, I even saw a small tear go down her cheek. I couldn't help but feel sympathy towards the small little filly, despite the fact that I had just met her a few hours ago.
"Tell you what, how about you tell me the questions and I'll try to answer them? Would that make you feel better?" I asked as the filly slowly nodded her head, wiping the tears from her scarlet colored eyes.
"Yes, thank you, Lukas. You really are a nice human." She said, grateful for my generous offer.
"Ah don't mention it, Cozy." I replied as the little filly led me to her class.
Soon enough, we both stopped outside what I assumed to be Cozy Glow's classroom. I then looked over at her and I could tell she was nervous due to the amounts of sweat, but she was trying to sustain a forced grin, to make it look like nothing was wrong, but by the looks of it, she could really use some acting lessons.
"Alright, Cozy Glow, just remember what I told you. Keep your mind on the test and try not to get distracted." I told her as she nodded in understanding.
"Thanks again, Lukas." Cozy replied with a smile.
"Now get in there and you ace that test." I said as Cozy walked into her class. "I wonder what I should do now?"
"So you see, I'm actually not that harmful." I explained to a group of ponies who had gathered around me, suddenly, I heard the sound of hoofsteps from behind me, I looked back and saw Cozy Glow walking up to me with a rather devastated look.
"Cozy Glow!" I exclaimed, before turning back to the ponies. "Sorry, guys, I'll finish the story later." The crowd let out groans of disappointment as they dispersed. "How did your test go? Did you pass?"
"No, I failed." She said.
"What!?" I cried in astonishment.
"Gotcha!" Cozy shouted as she pulled out her test, with a big, green A plus on it.
"Ha! Good one, Cozy Glow." I said with relief, now knowing it was all just a prank. "I guess I know more about friendship than I thought."
"Yeah, I guess you do." Cozy agreed, but unfortunately, our conversation was cut short.
"Look girls!" A female voice called out. "There's that human I was telling you about."
The source of the voice seemed to have come from a purple pony with a dark violet mane and tail with a hot pink streak through them and a cutie mark of a purple star surrounded by six smaller stars. What was strange is that this pony had both a horn and wings, I didn't think that was even possible. By the pony's side, were five other ponies. One was a white unicorn, two of them were a blue and yellow Pegasus, and the last two were an orange and pink pony.
"Oh hey there. My name is Lukas." I walked over to the group and looked at the purple pony's cutie mark. "Um.. forgive my assumption, but I'm assuming you're Twilight Sparkle"
"Why yes she is." The pink pony bounced up. "The Princess of Friendship, present and accounted for."
"Well, Lukas, it is very nice to meet you." Twilight greeted.
"Very nice to meet you too, Twilight. I've heard so much about you." I clarified.
"You have?" She asked.
"Well, you are the Princess of Friendship after all." The blue Pegasus reminded her.
"Oh yeah." Twilight exclaimed, as if she had just remembered something. "These are my friends, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rarity and Fluttershy. There's also Starlight Glimmer and Spike, I'm sure they're around here somewhere."
"So, how exactly did ya'll get here?" Asked Applejack.
"That's just it, Applejack, I don't know how I got here."I replied. "And to be honest, I think I came from a different world."
"Really?" Twilight pondered as I nodded in response. "Wow, this is all so interesting, but I'm sorry to say this but, you can't stay here."
"What!?" I exclaimed. "Why not?"
"Well, you're not from around here, we've got to get you back home." Twilight replied.
"Aww... I wanted to throw him a "Welcome to Ponyville" party." Pinkie said with distraught.
"Of course you do, Pinkie." Rainbow groaned.
"Sorry, Pinkie, but there's nothing else we can do." Twilight said with a hint of sympathy in her voice.
"Twilight." I pleaded, dropping down to my knees. "I really don't want to leave, I actually kind of like it here. Everybody is so welcoming and friendly, even though they were just staring at me. But still, this place is a really nice. I never really had a life back at my world, I got bullied at school, my parents were abusive and I didn't really feel safe anywhere, but ever since I came here, I was blessed by its colorful environment. Please, Twilight, please just let me stay here, I promise I'll help around here in any way I can."
"Yeah, come on, Twilight." Rarity agreed, stepping up to Twilight's side. "He seems like a charming little darling."
"Please Twilight, I hate to see others sad, even if they're not from around here." Pinkie pointed out.
"I'm sure he will like to see Sweet Feather Sanctuary." Fluttershy added.
Twilight, now remorseful, let our words sink in as she looked at me with a smile. "Now that I think about it, Lukas, this could be the perfect chance for a creature like you to learn about friendship. I mean, this school is for every creature after all. So as the Princess of Friendship, I hereby welcome you to Equestria."
Everyone around me aroused in cheers and claps I couldn't believe what I had just heard, this place was my new home now, and I couldn't be any more happier.
"Thank you, Twilight." I said gratefully. "Thank you so much."
"Alright, so." She began. "Since you're going to be living here now, we may as well get you acquainted to Ponyville."
"Ooh! I could give him a tour of Ponyville!" Pinkie called out.
"I guess I'll tag along as well." Rainbow Dash added.
"Sounds like a plan." I said. "Lead the way, Pinkie."
As Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and I left the school, along with the other students, I was pondering to myself over the fact that this place was now my home for the rest of eternity, I hoped that all of this wasn't just some dream because I was now living the perfect life here and it's not like I had a life back home anyways. While we were walking through Ponyville, Pinkie was talking non-stop about her "Welcome to Ponyville" party that she apparently throws for every single newcomer of Ponyville, she also told me that she somehow knew almost anyone who lives in Ponyville, she must have huge memory if she's able to memorize every resident in this town. But she wasn't the only one telling me about herself, Rainbow Dash also told me that she was a member of a flying team known as the Wonderbolts, and proud of it, she said that she's been dying to be a member ever since she was a foal. Pinkie then told me that she also has a job, working at Ponyville's resident bakery called "Sugarcube Corner" so named because they mostly sell cakes, ice cream and other different kinds of pastries.
"Wow, sounds like you guys have been here for a very long time." I commented.
"Oh, you don't know that half of it, Lukas." Rainbow replied, rolling her eyes.
"I just can't wait to live here." I said excitedly while rubbing my hands together.
"And I can't wait to throw you a "Welcome to Ponyville" party." Pinkie chirped.
"I know, Pinkie." I said to the pudgy pink pony. "You told me that, like, a dozen times already." I then turned my gaze over to the blue Pegasus following behind me. "So, Rainbow Dash, you told me you also clear away the clouds?"
"Sure do, I can clear the skies faster than you can say "I'm awesome." Rainbow boasted.
"Getting a little cocky are we? Alright then, show me." I ordered. "I'd love to see what you got."
"Oh, you've done it now." Rainbow said as the suddenly took off without another word.
In a rainbow blur, she zoomed around the sky, kicking all of the clouds away as she did so. Pinkie was so amazed and stunned by the Pegasi's agility and speed, that she started clapping her hooves together and cheering as if she was on the bleachers of a basketball tournament. Within about 10 seconds, the sky was completely clear with no cloud in sight as Rainbow Dash hovered in the air.
"Whoa, that was cool!" I exclaimed.
"Oh, you haven't seen her do her Sonic Rainboom yet." Pinkie cheered.
"Sonic Rainboom, what's that?" I asked
Pinkie didn't respond, instead, she just pointed her hoof upwards, as if telling me to look up at the sky. I obeyed her command and looked up to see Rainbow Dash flying so high in the sky that when she stopped, I only saw a small, blue dot. Suddenly, she made a b-line for the ground in a breakneck pace. Pinkie then offered me a pair of binoculars (don't ask me where she got them from) so I could see the Pegasus a bit better. When I looked through the binoculars, I saw Rainbow Dash flying straight towards us, and I swear I could see a white outline around her.
"You might wanna brace yourself." Pinkie advised, stepping back a bit.
I could only watch as Rainbow Dash was soaring through the sky, and then, nothing could ever prepare me for what happened next, for it was so awesome and colorful, I'm not sure that you'd even believe me when I tell you. Rainbow Dash quickly dove back up the moment she was about to hit the floor, but that wasn't the only jaw-dropping thing that happened, I don't even know how to but this situation into words it was so unbelievable. So it seemed like Rainbow Dash for some unexplained reason broke the sound barrier, causing a giant, ring-shaped rainbow explosion to occur, needless to say, I was absolutely shocked. Rainbow Dash made a graceful landing in front of us, whipped her mane back and looked at us with a smug grin on her face, not even the slightest bit effected from the literal explosion that happened right behind her.
"And that is how it's done." Rainbow smirked
"Wow, Rainbow Dash, I feel like you're getting better every time." She gawked.
"Yeah, I know." She said, before turning over to me. "So, what you think of that, Lukas?"
I was too astonished from what I had just seen to even form a coherent sentence, I had never seen a pony move so fast in my whole lifetime. My expression must've been noticeable because both Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie were looking at me with concerned faces.
"Uh.. Lukas?" Rainbow asked with concern.
"You okay there?" Pinkie added
Finally, my mouth managed to say. "Rainbow Dash, that... was... AMAZING!"
"Glad you liked it." Rainbow said proudly.
"Liked it? I LOVED it!" I exclaimed. "No wonder you are a member of the Wonderbolts, I'm just surprised they didn't hire you sooner, you clearly have an amazing talent."
"Aw shucks." Rainbow blushed a little. "Thanks, Lukas."
"Rainbow Dash first did that when she was just a small, cute filly." Pinkie told me.
"Wait, you did THAT when you were just a filly?" I asked, even more astonished.
"Yeah!" Rainbow replied. "It was in a race to defend Fluttershy's honor by a bunch of bullies."
"In fact." Pinkie began. "If it weren't for that Sonic Rainboom, we'd probably never even met."
"Wow!" Was all I could say. "It's like you guys were all destined to become friends from the very beginning."
"Now, you ready for your very own, personal Ponyville tour, Lukas?" Asked Pinkie cheerfully.
"I sure am, Pinkie, let's go." I declared as the tour began.
Throughout the rest of the afternoon, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash were showing me around Ponyville, pointing out famous locations of the little village, including the Cafe, the furniture store, the marketplace and so much more interesting places that I had access to, I think it's safe to say that I'm going to enjoy it here.
"And that concludes the tour of Ponyville." Pinkie announced as we stopped in the center of Ponyville.
"So, what do you think?" Asked Rainbow Dash.
"Girls, I must say." I began. "You're so lucky to be living here."
"Yeah, and you're lucky too." Rainbow added. "Well anyways, I gotta get back to my place, catch you guys later." She then waved goodbye to us before she took off into the sky.
"And I have to get to Sugarcube Corner to prepare for your "Welcome to Ponyville" party. Oh, you're going to have so much fun here in Ponyville." Pinkie said, before trotting away to the proclaimed bakery.
"I know I am." I said under my breath. "I wonder what I should do here first?"
But before I could go off into Ponyville, I suddenly saw Twilight Sparkle flying up towards me with a massive grin on her face as she landed in front of me.
"Oh, Hey Twilight, what's up?" I asked.
"Glad I found you, Lukas. Come with me." She instructed as she flew off swiftly.
I was a bit upset that my plans of fun were interrupted, but there was nothing else I could really do, besides, it was starting to get dark outside. So I quickly ran after the Princess of Friendship as she led me over to the crystal castle. As I entered the castle, finally seeing the interior, I saw two purple figures standing in the middle of the room. One of them was a unicorn who had a lilac coat, a purple and teal mane and tail, and a cutie mark of a purple and white star with two blue glimmering streams, and the other one appeared to be a small scaly being with green scales down his back, green colored eyes and a light spring gray underbelly.
"Lukas, I'd like to introduce you to two of my friends, Spike and Starlight Glimmer." Twilight introduced as Spike waved at me while Starlight looked at me with a shy smile.
"Oh, nice to meet you both." I greeted warmly.
"Nice to meet'cha too, Lukas." Spike said while pointing finger guns at me. "Name's Spike, Twilight's number one assistant."
"Wow, you really do look a bit.." Starlight then trailed off, as if she was trying to find the right word to use. "unusual."
"Don't worry." I assured her. "I'm used to it."
"But that's not the only reason why I brought you here." Twilight added, then motioned for me to follow her.
I then followed Twilight to a large set of golden doors, she then pointed her head to the doors, as if telling me to open them. So I obliged and swung the doors open to saw a bedroom with a singular bed, a desk in front of a window with a nice view of Ponyville with newly stitched curtains. I looked over to the left and saw a large bookshelf nearby filled to the brim with books.
"What is this place?" I asked as I walked inside.
"This is the guest bedroom." Twilight replied, trotting inside herself. "Which is perfect for you, because you will be living here!"
"Wow, Twilight. You didn't have to do this for me." I said, affected by her kindness.
"Of course I had to, I mean, you are going to be living here after all, so I might as well make sure your settled in."
"Hey Twilight." Spike said, poking his head behind the door. "I found that book you were looking for."
"Thanks, Spike." She replied, before turning to me. "Well, Lukas. I've gotta study for an upcoming presentation for my class tomorrow. Sleep tight." Twilight then walked out the room and close the doors with her magical aurora.
With all the walking around that I've done over the past few hours, I was feeling a bit tired from my adventures, and if this much happened to me in one singular day, I can't wait to see what will happen tomorrow. As my eyelids were starting to feel a bit heavy, I walked over towards my newly established bed, the mattress was super soft and comfy, almost like I was laying on a cloud, and soon enough, I drifted off to sleep, wondering what this quaint little village had in store for me. I feel like that this was going to be the start of a new, fresh and rather colorful life in the magical land of Equestria...
