Celestia didn’t let Luna do much around equestria and she was starting to get tired of it. Luna went to see her sister and asked if she can bring up the sun just once.
“Dearest sister is it okay if I Could bring up the sun just one time?”
Celestia gave her a funny look then she said,
“I am the only one who should bring the sun up each day my sister; also I am more powerful than you.”
Luna was sick and tired of her sister and she went into her room and thought about what her sister said to her. A thought popped into her head that she would get rid of her sister then she would take care of her beloved subjects all over Equestria. After pondering it she decided to ask her again.
The next week Luna ask celestia if she could raise the sun,
“Dearest sister can I please raise the sun for our subjects just once?”
“Like I said before my beloved sister I cannot let you do that because I am the most powerful mare in all of equestria!”
This was true be Luna was the younger sister but she has almost the same powers as her sister. Luna went back into her room and planned out how she would get rid of her sister; Luna used her unicorn powers to write out a plan of how she would do it. Suddenly there was a knock on her door,
“Dearest sister can I come in and talk to you for a while?”
Luna quickly hid the paper and answered
“Sure”
Celestia opens the door and says
“I have something important to tell you”
Luna asked,
“You’re going to let me raise the sun tomorrow?”
Celestia answered,
“No that’s not why I’m hearing.”
Celestia walked over to her sister and said,
“I wanted to ask why you have been so sad for the past week?”
Luna answers,
“Because everypony plays and has fun in the day you have provided and they sleep through the beautiful night I have provided, I want to be the one who brings up the sun and have everypony enjoy the day I have created”.
Celestia looks around the room for a second and says,
“I understand your frustration but I am the ruler of equestria and I will always bring up the sun.”
Luna storms out of the castle and trots of to the everfree forest to the old castle ruins and she sits there and thinks about what celestia had said and she got angry and refused to raise the moon celestia got worried about her dear sister so she goes all over equestria looking for her.
Celestia tots all over ponyville asking all the ponies if they had seen Luna every single one said no, so celestia makes her way to fluttershy’s house to ask if she had seen Luna again she said that she hasn’t seen Luna. Celestia thinks about it for a second and she goes and gets twilight and her friends and they go and search the everfree forest twilight and her friends split up away from celestia so they could cover more ground.
After a few hours twilight finds herself lost deep in the forest pinkie pie starts singing her no fear song so rainbow dash yells at pinkie to shut up and then pinkie starts to cry so twilight Makes rainbow apologize to pinkie then she stops crying and they all focus on away to get out, celestia stumbles upon the ruins of the old castle see looks up to see a glow coming out the windows so celestia rushes up to see what’s wrong and she finds that Luna has changed back into nightmare moon.
“What happened to you?” celestia asks
“YOU HAVE ANGERED ME FOR THE LAST TIME NOW IT IS TIME THAT I TAKEITH OVER EQUSTRIA!” Says Luna.
Celestia lowers her head stomps her front hoof on the ground her horn starts to glow and she charges at nightmare moon as she gets closer Luna gets ready and disappears and reappears on the other side of the room.
“YOU SILLY FOAL YOU THINK YOU CAN STOP ME I AM MORE POWERFUL THAN YOU NOW” Luna exclaims.
Celestia answers
“There is nopony that is more powerful than me.”
Luna laughs and lowers her head and sends a green bolt to celestia knocking her 10 feet in the air
“SEE I AM POWERFUL THAN YOU”
Suddenly there are hoof beats coming up the stairs its twilight and her friends to save celestia, twilight runs over and checks on celestia
“Twilight I need you to get the elements of harmony and defeat nightmare moon again” says celestia
Twilight and her friends run to the castle to get the elements but they are not there. Twilight returns and asks nightmare where the elements are,
“What did you do with the elements!?”
“OH YOU MEAN THESE!”
Everyone gasps as she uses her magic to make the elements appear twilight demands that she gives her the elements
“Give me the elements!”
“I WISH I COULD BUT IM NOT BECAUSE I AM GOING TO BE THE NEW RULER OF EQUESTRIA AND WITH THE ELEMENTS I AM UNSTOPABLE.”
“Not on my watch!” exclaims twilight
“Come one girls let’s get the elements back”
So the mane 6 get in formation and charge at nightmare and when they get close she disappears and reappears on the other side of the room, then Luna turns around and her horn starts to glow and she sends a blue bolt to right in the middle of them and they all go flying out of the castle ruins then nightmare walks over to celestia and says,
“Sorry about this sister but I’m going to be the new ruler of Equestria.”
With tiredness in her breath celestia says,
“You would have to kill me first.”
Then she springs up and tries to charge at nightmare again but she disappears again and then reappears right behind celestia, then lowers her head and sends a bright green bolt of electricity right to celestia’s brain and killing her instantly.
Then nightmare leaves the castle ruins and heads back to canterlot to the royal palace and takes the place of the ruler of equestria and she did as celestia did raised the sun in the morning and brought up the moon at night, then winter came she plunged equestria into a never ending night until it came time for winter wrap up.
She was confronted about it the next week by twilight asking what happened to celestia since she hasn’t answered her letters in a while. Then Luna explained that she killed celestia and took over as the ruler of equestria and she told twilight that there is nothing you can do about it.
Twilight goes to the library to look for a spell to bring ponies back from the dead alas she could not find the book, so twilight got her friends together and they tried once again to defeat nightmare moon and make equestria normal again.
The next month they went to canterlot to find nightmare and defeat her, when they find her they immediately charge at her all at once but still she teleports to the other side of the room and send a spell to them that sends them out the window to their deaths now equestria is in extreme peril who can defeat Nightmare and save equestria.
