Spiral into madness

After the Surprise party her friends threw for, on the day where pinkie’s friends lied to her to avoid her party, a party that she had done especially for them, pinkie pie showed a new side of herself, a side that was hateful and cruel. After the surprise party her friends threw for her, which was the reason they had lied to her in the first place to keep it secret, Pinkie returned to normal on the outside, but the inside was a different story. The other side of her had never really gone completely away, it had just gone under the surface of her conscience, where it slowly drove her mad, erasing her sanity bit by bit, until her mind snapped, and her psyche fragmented, Pinkie Pie was now gone, replaced by Pinkamena Diane Pie, who had shed all traces of humanity and affection, and was now in control,
as the fractured remains of Pinkie Pie's mind had already been torn into oblivion by this new half of her, leaving only a bit of her mind intact, this other side vowed to kill all her former friends for lying to her, and Pinkie pie was powerless to stop it. In fact, it seemed like a good day to take revenge on one of her friends, the malicious entity thought to itself.
Yes, it mused, today is a good day for bloodshed, in fact, why limit it to my friends, it thought, why not make everypony suffer.
The fragment of Pinkie's mind began to laugh to itself, the demonic noise echoed through the tortured remnants of the pink pony's mind, the mind of a pony who no longer existed, whose being had been replaced by pure evil. She had already made plans for her first victim, Derpy hooves, when suddenly a flash filled her vision and a searing pain appeared in her temples. The flash faded and she found herself watching a familiar, yet new, memory. Pinkie Pie throwing a party, the very same party that had driven Gilda the griffon away due to a numerous amount of pranks that she had the misfortune to walk into. She shuddered, wondering how Pinkie could've been so misguided as to think that those ponies were her friends and throw a party for them, then having discarded the memory, it having no use to her. The soulless entity changed plans right then, deciding that it's first victim would be Gilda.
"She was even worse than the pony’s" thought pinkamena, "always acting so high and mighty, like she was better than everyone". "We'll see how high and mighty she is without wings" she thought, when suddenly from the deepest part of her mind, she heard a voice. "CANT....MUST.....STOP.....FROM....KILLING. Pinkamena laughed,as she heard the voice growing quieter, and eventually disappearing. She shook her head, clearing her mind, and made plans to kill gilda.
Applejack came over to the bakery the next day, wondering why she hadn't seen Pinkie in a while, to hear some maniacal laughter. "what in tarnation is that pony up to", she thought, as she climbed up the stairs to the fun-loving pony's room. Pinkamena whipped around as she heard Applejack climbing up the stairs to her room, wondering how to explain the blood on her hooves from killing the griffon Gilda, As Applejack entered the room. Applejack stared at her hooves, mouth agape for several seconds before stuttering "P-Pinkie, is that what I think it is. Pinkie's joyful smile turned cruel, and Applejack saw a glint of something in Pinkie's eye. "Pinkie", she asked, "what's wrong?", right before Pinkie charged at her, Knocking her back, headfirst, into a wall. Pinkamena heard a small snap, Applejack's neck breaking, and laughed. Inside, Pinkie's broken mind sobbed. Pinkamena vaguely heard a voice in the back of her head, crying about Applejack's death, as she dragged the body downstairs into her basement and hid it, then washed Gilda's blood off her hooves. She heard a knock at the front door, changed her attitude to that of Pinkie Pie's, and gleefully hopped to the door. It was Twilight at the entrance. "Oh hello bestest friend in the whole wide world!", Pinkamena said, doing her best not to gag at the over-joyful demeanor she had adopted. What can I do for you?" she asked twilight. "Well", Twilight said, "I went over to the Sweet apple acres to say hello to Applejack on my way to Fluttershy's house, but she wasn't there.” I asked Rainbow dash if she knew where Applejack was, and she said Applejack was heading this way, did she ever stop at your house Pinkie?" , Twilight asked. "She sure didn't Twilight, but I'll tell you if I see her", Pinkamena said as she closed the door. "Twilight knows too much", she thought, Guess I'll have to kill her next", she Thought, adopting a crazed manner yet again, She began laughing to herself, slowly spiraling into madness.
“I haven’t seen Applejack in a while now” Twilight said to Fluttershy, “I don’t get it, she sells Apples in town square every other day, but I haven’t seen her for a week!” she exclaimed. “well, what do you think could’ve happened?” Fluttershy whispered. “I don’t know, but I’m going to ask Pinkie, she always knows where everybody is”, Twilight said as she walked off in the direction of Sugarcube corner. Pinkamena heard a knock at her door, looked out the window, and saw Twilight. “How unfortunate she had to walk in on me killing Dr. Whooves”, she thought, as she slid the body into a corner and washed the blood off her hands. Twilight knocked on the door again, felt it open, and stepped in as Pinkamena swung the rolling pin. Twilight felt a crack on the back of her head, her vision flashed white and slowly faded to black, and she was unconscious. Twilight awoke strapped onto a table, unable to move, as she caught some movement out of the corner of her eye. “Where am I at?” she asked nervously, “Pinkie, is that you. She heard a giggle, which soon escalated into full-blown laughter that subsided. Some lights snapped on, momentarily blinding her. When she opened her eyes, she wished she hadn’t. Inside the room was a macabre display, the bodies of 3 ponies and one griffon, all hanging on the left wall of the room, two ponies had their throats slit, the griffon had been beheaded and was missing it’s wings, and the other pony had it’s neck bent at an unnatural angle. It was Applejack . Tears came to her eyes as she stared at the corpse of her friend. Her head whipped to the right as she heard some more laughter, which came from the front of the room. It was Pinkie Pie, but her normally pink and puffy hair had turned gray and now lay straight, and her coat was covered in blood. “Pinkie”, she stammered nervously, “what’s wrong with you”. “Oh, nothing”, she said with an insane grin on her face as she reached for a knife. “Pinkie, what are you doing!” Twilight yelled. Pinkamena walked over to Twilight when she sudden stopped, dropped the knife, and fell to the ground holding her head. “It was that troublesome Pinkie again”, Pinkamena thought as she mustered all the mental strength she could and pushed the fractured pony’s mind to the farthest recesses of her sub-conscious. Pinkie now out of the way, Pinkamena grasped the knife, and walked over to the immobile Twilight. “No!” Twilight screamed and thrashed as the blade touched her flesh, Causing another flash across Pinkamena’s vision, which she quickly overcame. Pinkamena smiled demonically, Raised the knife, and brought it down on Twilight. The screaming was drowned out by another fit of insane laughter.
Rainbow dash had spent the better part of her day flying through the sky and racing against other pegasi, and as she watched the sun set from a platform of clouds, she decided it was a good time to return home and sped off, leaving her signature rainbow colored trail in her wake. As she reached her house made of clouds, she slowed down and stopped at the front entrance, opening the weightless door with ease, and was about to rest when she noticed a letter on her bed, signed by Pinkie Pie. She read it, and saw that Pinkie Pie wanted Rainbow Dash to make cupcakes with her, she was about to write her a letter back saying it was okay, but then remembered that she had to give Fluttershy flight lessons. She thought about it, and decided that Pinkie Pie would be more hurt if she didn’t show up. She wrote a letter to Fluttershy, telling her she wouldn’t be at the flight lessons till later because she was at Pinkie pie. The next day, she went over to Pinkie Pie’s place, all the while thinking how boring making cupcakes really was. When she got there, Pinkie Pie was exuberant, bouncing all over the place. “I don’t get why you wanted me here” Rainbow Dash said, “you know I’m terrible at baking.” “I know” Pinkie Pie sighed, “but I’ve waited so long for this moment” she said in a jubilant tone. “You weren’t supposed to agree with me” Rainbow Dash muttered under her breath, as she noticed Pinkie searching through a drawer. “Is there anything you need help finding” Rainbow Dash questioned. “no” she said in a darker tone. Rainbow dash suddenly noticed that Pinkie’s mane had turned gray and had gone flat, and her coat was a noticeably darker shade. She twitched twice, and then spun around with a knife in her hoof as she rushed Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash knocked the knife out her grasp as they locked hooves with each other. Rainbow Dash, still surprised by the turn in events, took a kick to the knee before she wised up. She threw Pinkie’s hooves to the side, delivered an elbow to the face, and kicked Pinkie back towards the front door. Rainbow Dash took flight as she charged towards the door, and shoved Pinkie to the side as the pink pony got up feeling a prick on her neck as she did so. She was ten feet out the door before she looked at her neck and saw a syringe there. She suddenly turned dizzy, and turned around as she fell towards the ground. The last thing she saw before falling asleep was an evil smile on Pinkie’s face and then, blackness.
Rainbow dash awoke strapped to a table. As she tried to get up, she noticed that she was strapped down, unable to move. She then remembered what had happened in the shop, and started to struggle. She heard someone whistling, turned towards the noise and saw that it was Pinkie sharpening a knife. “Pinkie, let me out of here!” she said angrily. Pinkie said nothing and stopped whistling, and walked over to the Restrained Pegasus. She rested her hoof on Rainbow dash’s shoulder, and a soft look came to her face. “I’m sorry” pinkie said, on the verge of crying. Her gentle look turned into a grin, and then an impossibly wide, insane smile as her pink and puffy hair turned gray and flat, and she resumed whistling. Rainbow dash, recalling her look from the bakery right before she attacked, startled to pull at the restraints to no avail, as Pinkamena plunged the knife into her right arm, all the way through to the wood of the table. Rainbow dash cried out, and Pinkie pulled the Blood covered knife out of her arm. Rainbow dash’s screaming subsided to a soft crying, and pinkie pie walked over to a table and picked up a cleaver, hefting it onto her shoulder. She walked over to Rainbow dash, grabbed ahold of one of her wings, and pulled it out from it’s folded position on her side. “Don’t do it pinkie” rainbow dash yelled. She raised the cleaver and was about to bring it down on the wing, when she heard chime from above. She threw the cleaver behind her and it embedded itself in the table. She mumbled “stupid customers.” as she left the room, and then yelled over her shoulder to Rainbow dash, her voice brimming with anticipation, “Get ready for round two!”
Rainbow dash’s emotions were a mix of fear, anger, and dread. She didn’t understand why pinkie was doing this, only that she had to get out of the restraints before pinkie came back. She pulled up against the strap that held her right arm to the table, and the action ignited a fresh wave of pain through her arm. She cringed, and tears welled up in her eyes again. It was obvious she wasn’t able to use that arm, so she tried at the other one, tugging at the leather strap until it loosened, and she was able to pull her arm out from it. She then grabbed ahold of the other strap and started to tug at it. She was about to get her other arm free, when a knife whizzed past her cheek and stuck into her left arm, pinning it back down to the table. As she registered what had just happened, she turned to the front of the room and saw Pinkie standing there, insane grin still on her face. The pain caught up with Rainbow dash, and she screamed. At this, Pinkie’s impossibly large grin grew even wide, and she started to laugh. “I can’t believe you tried to escape” she said between fits of laughter, “I mean, what were you going to do when you got free, you have nowhere to run.” She said as she strapped Rainbow dash’s arms back down to the table and pulled the knife out of her arm. “Why are you doing this pinkie, I thought we were friends. At this statement, pinkie grew quiet and gripped the knife tighter. She then flung the knife into a nearby wall and yelled “I AM NOT YOUR FRIEND!” At this statement, Rainbow dash realized that her friend was gone, or her mind at least. Pinkie pie pulled the cleaver out of the table, and raised it up above her head. She grabbed ahold of Rainbow dash’s wing once again, and stretched it out from the side of the rainbow Pegasus’s body. She brought down the cleaver, and screaming and laughter collided.
Fluttershy panted as she flew towards Sugarcube corner. Rainbow dash had delayed their flight training to make cupcakes with pinkie, but had never shown up for the lessons. That was bad, Rainbow dash was never late. She stopped at the front door of the bakery, and lightly nudged it open with her hoof. She noticed there was nobody at the front desk. “Hello, anybody home” she said, her voice barely above a whisper. She heard no reply and rung the bell on the front desk. Still nobody showed up. She was about to leave the store and search elsewhere, when she heard a faint screaming that sounded like Rainbow dash. She went behind the front desk and started searching for a hallway or anything that would help her find her friend. Fluttershy didn’t know what was wrong, but she was determined to help her friend. She was about to give and search elsewhere when she tripped over a handle on the floor. She was about to see what the handle was attached to, when suddenly, a trapdoor burst open and Pinkie pie came out. “Oh hello fluttershy, what are you doing here” she questioned. “I was looking for Rainbow dash here, she was late for flight training” fluttershy whispered almost inaudibly, “I heard some screams that sounded like Rainbow dash, do you have anything to do with this”. “What do you mean, I haven’t heard anything”. Fluttershy heard someone yell “HELP” and questioned Pinkie. “what did you do”. “I didn’t do anythi-WHAT DID YOU DO” the yellow Pegasus yelled. Pinkie’s pink hair turned gray and flat, and she picked up a knife off the counter. Fluttershy’s eyes widened in surprise as pinkie swung the knife at her. She ducked, and the blade took off a part of her mane. She head-butted pinkie, and shoved her out of the way as she went towards the trap door. She jumped down the entrance, and landed at the front of a large circular room, and looked around, there were a few dead ponies hanging on the wall by their arms. She recognized two of them as her friends Applejack and Twilight. She turned away and did her best not to be sick, and as she did she noticed something in the center of the room, it was a cyan colored Pegasus with a multicolored tail and mane, Rainbow dash. She was strapped to a table and her head was leaned back, unconscious. Fluttershy walked closer and as she did she saw something terribly wrong. Her two wings were now nothing but bloody stumps and she had a knife wound in both her arms. She leaned closer, and found that Rainbow dash was still breathing, but when she measured her pulse, she found her friend’s heartbeat was erratic and weak. Right then Fluttershy heard a tapping noise, turned around and found that it was Pinkie charging at her with a knife. Fueled by fear and anger, anger at what had happened to her friend, and fear of the knife wielding maniac she was in this room with, she grabbed the arm holding the knife with one hoof, and held her at a safe distance with the other. All of a sudden, Pinkie pulled backwards and slipped out of Fluttershy’s grasp, then swung forward with the knife. Fluttershy tried to sidestep the blade, but was too slow. The tip of the blade cut into the side of her neck, and she fell to the ground, bedding profusely from the wound. At this moment, Rainbow dash, awoken by all the noise from the fight, woke up. She looked around the room and saw Pinkie holding a knife covered with blood and a twisted grin on her face, and Fluttershy on the ground holding her neck, mouth open in a silent scream. At this sight, all feelings of pain disappeared, and her fear turned into anger. “Why!” she yelled, “Why would you do this to her, she never hurt you!” Pinkie suddenly fell to her knees, holding her head. “it’s not me” pinkie yelled, it’s the voice in my head, it’s making me do these things, controlling my body” “Shut up pinkie, I’m not letting you ruin this party”, the other side of her said. “Please kill me Dashie” Pinkie said, “I don’t want to hurt anyone else.” All of a sudden, Pinkie’s body convulsed, then grew still. Pinkie then reached over for the knife, grabbed it, and got up off her knees. She started walking over to Rainbow dash. Rainbow dash’s rage at her for killing her friends, Applejack, Twilight, and the now near-death Fluttershy, focused into a white-hot ball of fury. As Pinkie walked over to Rainbow dash’s side and raised the knife, she pulled at the straps on her wrist and legs with all her might, and broke free. She turned around to face Pinkie, and lunged at her. The insane pony managed to get one slice at her arm before Rainbow dash crashed into her and pinned her to the ground. She began launching blows at Pinkie’s face, before she uttered “please stop Rainbow dash”. This caused Rainbow dash to hesitate for a moment, which gave Pinkie all the opportunity she needed. She grabbed the Rainbow colored mares head, and bashed it against her own. RD recoiled in pain, and Pinkie threw her off her chest to the ground. She grabbed the cleaver she had used to chop off her former friend’s wings and swung it in a wide arc at the dazed pony. Rainbow dash rolled out of the way and jumped to her hooves, ready to fight. Pinkie threw the cleaver and ran at Rainbow dash. She dodged out of the way of the cleaver But was tackled by pinkie. Rainbow dash was pushed back a few feet but managed to stay on her feet. Pinkie grabbed a knife off the table next to her, and stabbed it into Rainbow dash’s thigh. Instead of feeling pain from the knife, it simply fueled her anger even further. She shoved Pinkie backwards into a wall and stunned her, and with a scream of rage, not pain, she pulled the knife out of her thigh, ran at the dazed Pinkie and slammed her into a wall, then held her there. She held the knife to the insane mare’s throat and crushed her against the wall ‘till she heard her ribs crack. Pinkie struggled against Rainbow dash’s crushing hold, but could not move lest the cyan pegaqsus slit her throat open. Rainbow dash was about to kill her former friend when Pinkie uttered “Please don’t kill me Dashie.” RD’s grip loosened for a split-second, and Pinkie shoved her away, ran to the center of the room and grabbed a knife. She then rushed Rainbow dash and jumped on her and pinned her to the ground. She raised the knife and was about to finish the job, when she suddenly jerked. “Kill me now, I can’t keep control much longer, I’ll just keep killing if you don’t stop me. Pinkie jerked again, and went to impale Rainbow dash through the chest. Rainbow dash stabbed her first. The blood dripped down onto Rainbow dash’s chest, staining her coat a deep red. Pinkie inhaled once, then stopped breathing and went limp. Rainbow dash rolled pinkie over onto the ground, and got up slowly. She stared at the maniac that had been her friend, and her rage was replaced with sadness. She swore she saw Pinkie mouth the words “thank you”, right before the light left her eyes forever. She walked over to Fluttershy and found she was barely breathing. She hefted her friend over her shoulder climbed the ladder leading to the shop. She dragged her friend outside to take her to the hospital and tell her remaining friends what had happened. She tried to open up her wings but found she couldn’t. She looked over her shoulder and found all that was left of her wings were two bloody stumps. All of a sudden, all of her injuries caught up with her, and she went dizzy and fainted.
