Anon a Mystery The Finale
Outside the waiting room of Canterlot City General Hospital, we find a young man pacing frantically back and forth on the highway with his sneakers clicking the hard ceramic flooring after each step. As he continues his pacing he begins to grow more and more anxious at the thought of what's happening in the room where his pregnant wife resides, with him requested to wait outside while they tend to her our blue headed young man couldn't help but worry about thought of what's transpiring inside that room while also wondering if his wife and soon to be son or daughter is in good hand's and it soon turned to fear at the thought of either a miscarriage or something happening to the baby during the birthing process. He continues to pace and plead to god that his wife and soon to be child are alright in there.
This was Flash Sentry
9 years have passed since he met Sunset, The Anon a Miss incident, and the BIG reconciliation between the two of them and their friends. To this day he still couldn't believe that he and Sunset lasted this long ever since they got back together during their junior year despite the many setbacks, after she accepted his proposal a year after graduating CSU and landing that music contract thanks to his internship, our young rocker was overjoyed to have an amazing wife to spend the rest of his life with and that he'll soon have a child of his own . As he continues to pace about, a farmgirl who was sitting on the indoor bench next to her husband Caramel finally broke the ice in an attempt to calm him down.
"Flash will ya'll relax already!!!!!???" Applejack shouted. " Sheesh I haven't seen ya this nervous since your band's first gig last year"
"I'm sorry AJ" Flash replied with a sigh while stopping inches away from them. " I just can't help it, Sunset's in there with my child and I have absolutely no idea what's gonna go down in that room. Who knows if she or the baby is gonna be alright?"
" Flash chill you have nothing to worry about partner " Caramel jumped in. " My uncle's the best doctor in the city ,he has not failed a single patient throughout his career. Trust me Sunset is in good hand's" As Caramel made his statement Flash managed to calm down slightly.
"Yeah I guess Caramel" He said. " But I cant help but worry"
"And that's a good thing partner" AJ replied. That shows that you care a lot about her, your love for Sunset is what's gonna keep her and the baby healthy and safe. As long as your here for her there is nothing and I mean NOTHING that'll make her worry cause she knows that we're all here for her and wont let anything happen to her" as she finished her statement Flash soon calmed down and collected himself a bit knowing that Applejack was right and that he has nothing to worry about, especially since he's there for her a\if anything goes wrong.
" Your right thanks Aj you too Caramel" He said
"No prob partner" The married couple said in unison. Then suddenly the front door of the hospital burst open surprising some of the staff and patients waiting inside the waiting room , and soon 5 young women ran inside like a group of Olympic track stars through the hallway towards the room where their pregnant friend resided in. The group soon stopped in their tracks panting heavily with a few hints of sweat on their faces and soon one of em broke the ice.
" Are............................ we......................................too...........................................................................................................................................late?" Pinkie said trying her hardest to catch her breath earning a giggle from AJ"
"Nope" she said. " You guy's didn't miss a thing Sunset's still being treated" After her statement the group had a nice long sigh of relief knowing that they haven't missed their friends soon to be labor.
"Oh thank god!" Rarity said in relief. " with how insane the traffic was this morning I was afraid we'd miss the whole thing"
"You said it " Dash replied. " Out of all the days for their to be a pile up it had to be this one, It's a miracle you didn't get caught up into it otherwise you'd have to have the baby in AJ's truck"
"DASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Fluttershy shouted.
"Sorry" Dash apologized.
" No it's fine Dash" Flash replied. " We were actually lucky enough to get a ride on an ambulance all the way here. It's a miracle Caramel's uncle is a doctor otherwise we'd be stuck in that traffic jam ourselves"
"No kidding" Caramel jumped in. Suddenly the group of friends noticed a loud dinging sound and found the light on top of the operating room has turned green signaling entry into the room and soon Doctor stable walked out of the room breathing a sigh of relief before removing his medical mask and the group especially Flash walked towards him to hear the news about Sunset's labor.
"Uncle Stable is everything alright?" Caramel asked.
"Yeah how's my wife and child are they alright?" Flash said trying his best not to worry.
"Everyone" Stable began. " I'm pleased to say the operation was a success and Sunset is healthy and well" The group then breathed a sigh of relief knowing that their friend was alright.
"And Flash Sentry" He continued. " I am proud to announced that your wife has given birth to a beautiful baby girl" after his announcement Flash's eyes grew as wide as dinner plated at the news he just received and soon a big smile that rivaled pinkies signature smile soon formed on his face and after a few seconds.....................................................................
"YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW" He shouted with excitement at the news that he now has a daughter and out of nowhere he pulled out his electric guitar and jammed out in excitement as the girls, Caramel, and his uncle watched in amazement while also wondering where in the world he pulled out that guitar. After a few minutes our rocker boy stopped playing while raising a triumphed fist in the air earning a few applause from the staff and patient's .
"Sheesh and I thought Soarin acted like a dork when I had our twins last year" Dash said earning a few giggles from the group. After calming down and putting his guitar away Flash got up to talk.
"Can we see her?" He asked.
"Of course" Doctor Stable replied. " But come in carefully the baby's asleep right now, Mrs Pie I'm looking at you" Pinkie then had a sweat drop form across her face remembering the time she pissed off the nurse after nearly waking up Mr and Mrs Cakes twins when she gave birth a few years ago.
"Yes sir I'll be good" She said with a nervous blush. After that the doctor nodded and smiled ushering the group to walk right into the room, and soon the group of friends entered the room where Sunset resided and found their friend laying comfortably on her bed with the sleeping little miracle in her hands, they then made their way closer towards the bed to get a closer look, and soon Flash gently wrapped his arms around his wife's neck relieved that she's alright.
"You ok honey?" He asked.
"Yes I am my love" She said with a smile. after a few seconds Flash ended the hug and sunset put her hands on the small blanket that hid their child's face.
"Flash meet your daughter" Sunset said and then lifted the top of the blanket to reveal a beautiful baby girl earning multiple silent awe's from the group.
"She's beautiful babe" Flash said as tears started to form in his eye's, he then leaned in to give his wife a quick congratulation kiss.
"She looks just like you darling" Rarity said while blowing her nose.
"Good workout there Shimmer" Dash said while giving a thumbs up earning her a back head slap from human twilight.
"Congratulations Sunset, you too Flash" She said happily.
"We're so happy for you two" Fluttershy replied
"Well done partner" Applejack said.
"Your a father now Flash" Caramel jumped in. " How do ya feel?"
"Honestly .........................................I feel great" Flash replied. " I've never been happy, first I married the most beautiful girl in the world, then I got a music contract, and now I have a beautiful baby girl, I've never been happier" As he made his statement Sunset couldn't help but blush and smile praying to god to have married the most amazing man in the world. Just then the door opened up again and the group turned around and found non other than the adult CMC along with their buddy Silver spoon .
"Howdy ya'll we're here" Bloom said silently as to not wake up the baby.
"Bloom, Sweetie Bell, Scoots, Spoons" Sunset said happy to see younger sister figure's. " It's nice to see ya girl's how're ya guy's doing?"
"We're doing great Sunset thanks for asking " Scootaloo replied.
"After our sisters texted us that the baby was coming we immediately left class the second the bell rang and rushed right over" Sweetie Belle said.
"Apologies we would have gotten here sooner but the traffic after school was a living hell" Spoon's said while slightly fixing her glasses.
"We know" Fluttershy replied.
"Wanna see the baby?" Sunset asked the four of em which earned her a silent chorus of yes's from the girl's and they soon walked over to the bed and as soon as they saw the little miracle in Sunset's arms they soon let out a chorus of awe's.
"She's so cute" Spoons said"
"congratulation's you two. Sweetie Belle replied.
"She look's just like ya Sunset" Apple bloom said.
" Ya must have had quite a.................................................................."
"Already made the joke Scoots" Dash jumped in. " And I'd save your breath lest ya want to earn a back head slap from Twilight like I did"
" Thanks girl's, so how's your senior year going?" Sunset asked.
"It's going great " Bloom replied. " Aside from a few magic mishap's on campus it's going pretty good"
"Amen" Scoots said while flexing her biceps a bit. " All that magic training ya gave us sure is paying off"
"Ok put those gun's on safety Chun li" Spoon's giggled. " but yeah We've managed to overcome most of the magic mishap's on campus with our powers, you guy's weren't kidding about the magic of friendship"
"It truly is wonderful isn't it?" Sunset said with a smile earning nod's from the four of em. " Is Tiara still giving you guy's trouble?"
"Actually no" Spoon's replied. " She actually cooled down a bit once we started our senior year, she hasn't done anything bad to us since then but where still debating on whether or not to befriend her"
"Well I say you guy's should give her a chance" Sunset said with a smile. " I know she was a major brat since you guy's met her in middle school but it's never too late for second chances, and who knows? Maybe she'll be overjoyed and happy to have actual friends for a change. I'm not asking you guy's to forgive her but the least you can do is give her a chance kinda like how you guy's gave me a chance years ago" After her statement the girls looked at each other and silently debated until they eventually reached a verdict"
"Well............................................................................................" Spoons began. " I guess we could give it a shot, BUT she better apologize to us as well"
"Yeah after all the shit she and Scarlett pulled , sorry for the language" Sweetie Belle said" The least she can do is apologize, I'm willing to give Tiara a chance but I am no where NEAR ready to forgive Scarlett Blossom"
"Amen, I guess I can try to befriend Tiara" Bloom jumped in.
"I'll try too" Scoots said. Sunset then let out a proud smile after realizing how much her sister figures have grown since Anon a Miss years ago.
" I'm proud of you girls" Sunset said with a smile.
"And so are we" Dash, AJ, and Rarity said in unison before bringing their sisters into an embrace which they quickly returned. after the hug ended Bloom then spoke again.
" Oh" she began. " I hope you don't mind Sunset but we kinda invited someone along as well"
" Really who?" Sunset asked while raising an eyebrow. " Is it a friend from school?"
" Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, but she is an old friend" Scoots replied with a smirk.
"You can come in now" Sweetie Belle silently called out and soon a women stepped into the room and Sunset stared in shock to find her oldest and closest friend standing in the same room as her.
Princess Twilight Sparkle
"Hello Sunset" Twilight said with a smile earning her a tearful smile from Sunset.
"Twilight" she sniffed and soon Twilight walked over and gently brought her old friend into a hug which she was quick to return as the others watched with tears in their eyes forming at the lovely sight of a reunion between old friends. After a few minutes the hug ended and the pair stared at each other with smiles.
"It's so great to see you again Twilight" sunset said while wiping the tear's from her eye's.
"You too old friend, when Bloom wrote that you were in labor I immediately stepped through the portal to see you" Twilight said and then took a second to look at the baby. " Is this her?"
"Yup this is our beautiful baby girl" flash said with a smile, Twilight then gently put her hand on the newborn's forehead.
'She's beautiful congratulations you too" She said.
"Thanks Twilight" sunset said with a smile. " So how have you been? I heard that you fully descended last year"
"Oh yes" Twilight replied. " After we defeated Cozy glow and Tirek I officially descended into my full alicorn form after my coronation, also me and my friends formed the council of friendship and get his ......................Spike proposed to Rarity and she said yes"
"Seriously? Hehe guess he really did get with the girl of his dreams huh?" Sunset giggled at the fact that Spike actually proposed to his girlfriend/dream girl and that she said yes.
"Oooooohhhhhhh yeah" Twilight replied with a giggle of her own. " You would not believe how happy he was that Rarity said yes, Shiny , Discord, and Big mac subjected him to a week of guy's night out as a way of saying congratulation's" After hearing that statement sunset couldn't help but giggle even more.
"Well I'm happy for him, I know he's gonna treat Rarity well" Sunset replied. " BTW How are Celestia and Luna doing?"
"Their doing pretty good" Twilight answered. " The two of em retired to Silver Shoals and are having a great time, and you'll never believe this.....................................................................................Discord proposed to Celestia"
"Get out of here" sunset said in shock. She couldn't believe that someone like Discord managed to swoop the Sun goddess herself off of her feet"
"Oh yeah it's true, I couldn't believe it myself" Twilight replied. " They actually started dating after you guy's reunion 5 years ago, and during my coronation party last year he popped the question...................literally, instead of a traditional black box with a ring he placed the wedding ring inside a mini jack in the box ya know classic Discord fashion, and after a good laugh Celestia said yes and I tell ya me and especially Fluttershy have never been so happy to see our closest friends together and engaged"
"Well I'm happy for her" Sunset said. " BTW how are Luna and Sombra doing?"
"Their doing great as well" Twilight replied. " There relationship is still going strong, It took Celestia a while to accept their relationship but eventually she welcomed Sombra into the family, also keep a secret? He told me that he's planning on proposing to her soon"
"Oooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, don't worry my lips are sealed" Sunset said with a smirk. " I can tell Luna's gonna be so happy especially with such a handsome stallion with an awesome mane"
"Me too, Sombra's a good man and I can tell he's gonna take good care of her" Twilight said. " I would have brought her and Luna along as well but i didn't think they'd arrive on time, but I'll let them especially Celestia know the good news"
" Thanks Twi" Sunset said with a smile. " And it's fine I wouldn't wanna disturb them especially since they just got engaged to their boyfriends, but I'm happy to know that they're doing alright. BTW how did you know about my pregnancy?"
"Well....................................you can thank the magic journal I gave to Bloom on her 20th birthday last year" Twilight said with a wink towards Bloom who was quick to return it. " BTW have you and Flash decided the name yet?"
"Well I had a nice idea if it ended up being a girl" Sunset said with a smile.
"Oh yeah" Twilight asked . " What would that be?"
"Celestia" Sunset said earning her a happy smile from Twilight knowing that was the perfect name especially knowing the reason between it.
"That's an amazing name Sunset" She said.
"You said it" Flash replied. " She's our little Celestia Sunrise Sentry "
"It's got a nice ring to it" Dash said.
"You said it big sis" Scoots replied. The group then took a second to survey and smile at each other before one of em broke the ice.
"Man we sure have had a lot of adventures over the years huh?" Fluttershy jumped in.
"We sure have darling" Rarity replied. " Who'd have known that we started out as enemies Sunset, but now were the best of friends/sisters"
"We sure are Rarity" sunset said trying her hardest to hold back her tears. " Befriending you guy's was the best decision of my life and I couldn't be any happier to have you all by my side"
"Amen" Bloom jumped in. " Despite the setbacks our friendship will never die down, nothing will ever sever it not even that dreaded"incident" years ago" The others then lay silent remembering the infamous incident that nearly destroyed their friendship years ago.
"Not one of our best moves" Scoots said sadly.
"You said it" Sweetie Belle jumped in sadly as well. However unlike the others Sunset was smiling and after a few moments she broke the silence.
"You know?" She began. " Even though Anon a Miss nearly ruined my life and relationships, you gotta admit it also made it even better" The others then stared in shock, awe, and confusion at Sunset';s shocking statement, they were visibly at awe that Sunset stated that Anon a Miss made everything better for her in the end. After another long silence Bloom broke the ice.
"Whatchu talkin bout Sunset?" Scoots said in shock. " How was Anon a Miss a good thing? We nearly ruined your life and reputation and worse we put our sisters and classmates against you all because we were jealous of them spending time with you and not us. And we even went as far as to erase your memories of that horrible incident like it never happened like a bunch of assholes. How in the world could you possibly say that Anon a Miss and our actions afterwords was a good thing?""
"Well" Sunset began. "You are right about that Scoots, Anon a Miss did ruin my life especially since my friends and everyone one else were so quick to pin me as the prime suspect given all my past actions, not to mentioned you guy's created it for the most selfish and wrong reasons. I was beyond furious at each of you and even went as far as to attack and try to kill you guy's thinking that our friendship was just a lie and that non of you have fully forgiven me. Plus you guy's did go as far as to allow that magic stone to erase my memory of that infamous incident and pretend that it never happened like a bunch of cowards. But.............................................. In a way Anon a Miss was kind of a good thing, after my memories were restored we did reconcile with one another and became friend again, but aside from that it also taught each of us some valuable lessons. Such as to not take others for granted and to jump to conclusions, let our jealousy get the better of us and to talk out our problems instead of taking drastic measures, and to not take advantage of a person just to erase the horrible sin's you've committed instead of apologizing. So in a way Anon a Miss seemed like the perfect test of friendship to see if our bond is as strong as we claim it is, and I can safely say if Celestia was here she'd give us a solid A or B especially since we managed to make it this long and that are friendship is still as strong as ever"
After her statement, the group looked at each other in unison each of them collecting what Sunset has told them. While it's true that Anon a Miss was a selfish act to pull for pathetic reasons, but in a way it also taught each of them a valuable lesson about the importance of trust and friendship and to not take others for granitic despite their past actions. After a few minutes one of them broke the ice and spoke.
"Your right Sunset" Fluttershy began. " Out of all of us you treated me the worst of all prior to your reformation, and TBH I still secretly hated you after two years of bullying. But before Anon a Miss I actually started to trust you, that is until the stunt the CMC's pulled. I figured that it was all a lie and that you were only using us for your evil deed's, but boy was I wrong, after you renounced your friendship with us that made me instantly realize that you really have changed and that our friendship wasn't an act to get revenge on us for your downfall from the dance. But in the end it taught us a valuable lesson, The memory erasing stone while a selfish act was also kinda a silver lining , if it hadn't happened who'd have known where we would have ended up? But in the end It taught us the most important lesson about friendship...............................Never take the easy way out just to earn an easy reconciliation and to not jump to conclusions on someone regardless of their past actions"
"Amen" The rest of the 4 girls said i unison after hearing and agreeing with Fluttershy's statement, then Bloom jumped in with word's of her own.
"And me and the girl's learned to not let our jealousy get the better of us " She began. " I still cant believe I thought of that horrible idea in the first place, at first I figured that it was genius but after my brother nearly destroyed me and you brushed off our apologies it made me realize that it was a terrible idea. I nearly lost everything especially my families love and worst of all it cost the life of my uncle. I was being selfish and only cared for myself not caring what would have happened to you if we were never found out, If you've committed suicide I would have never forgiven myself for starting this whole thing and dragging my friends into it. But in the end there was a silver lining towards the whole thing, the stone like shy said was practically a cowards way out also taught me an important lesson as well................................................... Never let my jealousy get the better of me and to just talk out my problems and not to commit a selfish act and try to ruin someones life just for your own stubborn needs"
"You said it Bloom" Sweetie Belle and Scoots said in unison while Silver Spoon proudly looked at her friend and her heartfelt statement, and soon Flash joined in as well.
" As for me" He began. " I was no better myself, I acted like a manipulator and a simp during and after Anon a Miss. I wasn't the best boyfriend myself Sunset, a part of me didn't trust you after the fall formal despite you saving our lives during the battle of the band's. And after Anon a Miss was born I immediately pinned the blame on you and went as far as to subject you to a whole lot of hate mail, but after your name was cleared I instantly regretted my hurtful word's that I could never take back. After that I would have given anything to make amends with you again but I figured that was never gonna happen until that fateful day. As soon as AJ told me about the stone I figured that was my chance to make amends with your memory of Anon a Miss erased, after that my feelings toward you returned and it made me realize that you were a good person you were just consumed by the darkness ever since you entered our world years ago. But in the end that was a terrible and selfish act to pull especially since I was practically using and manipulating you as a way of hiding my crimes. I should have been a man and just took responsibility and restored your memories instead of taking the easy way out. It's almost a miracle that you and I lasted this long Sunset, but I did learn my lesson............................................................ Never use someone and manipulate their mind for your own selfish reason, I know better than to take the easy way out instead of apologizing like a man but no more. From now on I'm here now Sunset and I'm never gonna make that mistake again. Plus who knows where you and I would have ended up after all of this?"
"Flash" Sunset said with a giggle. " You and I probably would have gotten back together that day regardless of Anon a Miss and that memory stone. But I am happy to be here with you and everyone else and I'm so happy to know that our relationship and friendship has grown stronger and stronger over the years"
"You said it honey" Flash said before leaning in and bringing his wife in for a kiss which she was quick to return earning a chorus of awe's from everyone in the room. After a minute the kiss ended and Sunset ushered everyone to bring their hands towards her which they were quick to oblige.
"Let's make a vow everyone" She began. " No matter what obstacles we encounter or how old we get, let's not let that stop our bond and our friendship"
"Amen" Everyone in the group said in unison and soon a strong aura of magic enveloped over their bodies including Flash and Caramel, no doubt this was the true power of the Magic of Friendship. After a few minuted the aura faded away and the magic aura re entered each of their bodies in a beautiful display of sparkles .
"Sunset" Twilight said. " Your the best friend anyone could ask for"
"The greatest sister a gal can ask for" AJ jumped in.
"And the most beautiful wife a guy like me can ask for" Flash replied.
"Thank you guys" Sunset said trying her hardest not to cry. " Thank you for being here for me" She then looked out the window towards the sun that shown brightly in the clear sky up in the horizon.
"So Shy" Rarity asked. " When are you and Dumbbell gonna have a kid of your own?" after her question Fluttershy's face went bright red.
"Oh " She bagan. " Once a month he asks to have a kid , I think just me, him , and angel jr is enough for now"
"Fluttershy you got to have a baby of your own, trust me you would not be disappointed" Sunset reassured.
"Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeelllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll" Fluttershy began. " I guess I can consider it, does it hurt?"There was a long silence before everyone in the room burst out laughing ( but not too loud as to not wake Celestia) including shy who was still blushing.
Yup friendship really is magic wouldn't ya agree?

And there ya have it folk's, the first story of 2022 and the finale to the Anon a Mystery series. Now while this is the end to the main Anon a Mystery series I do plan on writing an extended look at the Camp scene from the first story. But until then I hope you guy's enjoyed the story and keep an eye out for the next stories coming soon
