Candyland Conquest

“Pumpkin Cake’s plan was genius!” Sombra began narrating. “It was a plan so advanced, that even I’m shocked about… .” Sombra then cleared his throat before saying; “the plan was this… . First, Poundcake flew above the eyes as our scout, and reported back everything he saw. Next, we sent Sour Drops to make a fake report that her brother: Sour Berry, was missing. The guards guarding the entrance fell for it, and ran off… , giving us time to sneak inside. After that, we waited till the coast was clear, and snuck past the guards. Or took them out quickly if they saw us… . Finally, we’ve made it to the throne room, and found the Sour King asleep. At first, we thought it was too easy… . But then… .”

Suddenly, before Sombra could finish narrating, he was stunned to see a spear slam so closely to him, that he just kept his mouth shut while he and his pals were tied up with licorice ropes… . “Quiet!” a guard shouts while retrieving his spear from the ground. “The king will be with you shortly… .” After that, he stood at attention and waited for any other intruders; (other than the group), to arrive and stop this madness.

Sour Berry is currently trying his best to keep his cool… . Reason? He’s afraid of what might happen ever since his sister sent him a letter; telling him that the group needs him ASAP. That way, he’ll be able to help Sombra and his pals in saving Candyland, and for stopping their family from ruining the entire kingdom into nothing but sourness and loss of hope.

After some deep breaths, plus slapping himself as a motivation of sorts… he starts to look determined, and went jogging to the castle. “I think I’m ready…” Sour Berry said to himself. “I think I can do this… . And if not… .” Sour Berry then gulped in nervousness before saying; “then I’m most certainly a goner… . But hey… . It’s not like anything bad can happen… . Right… ?” Just then, a wild gummy bear jumped behind him, and roared a vicious roar. With that, he states; “I’ve really gotta stop saying that too… .” and ran off to the castle while being chased.
