It was an average day in Ponyville. The sun shined, the birds played and our main 6 were out in the fields a picnic going great, Rarity and Fluttershy discussing going off to the Spa later, Applejack and rainbow dash having a hoof wrestling competition. Twilight and Starlight discuss plans for a new spell and plans for what might have happened. Pinkie pie smiling.
"Hey, guy's watch this!" Pinkie pie exclaimed as she suddenly turned into a large ball, bouncing around. The rest watched her like it was nothing as the pink mair flew around like it was nothing.
"That's neat Pinkie." Rainbow Dash said a wide smirk as she kept straining refusing to lose when all of a sudden a loud yell came from the end. they looked back seeing Pinkie who was shaking her body twisting and turning like taffy being twisted far beyond its limit. as she screamed almost in pain. A first for any of them as they ran over galloping to their pink friend. Rainbow Dash is the first one to respond.
"Pinkie! What happened?" she asked while checking over her friend Twilight looking over.
"That's strange nothing looks Broken. What happened?"
"I don't know guy's but it was a real doozy it was like every bit of my Pinkie sense was going off the rails." Pinkie looked confused as the pain vanished in an instant. Clearly, everything was going back to normal as the girls looked back at each other. It was a quiet moment, as they could hear the sounds of crickets chirping in the sweet summer afternoon.
It was then something cracked. They all heard it. The crack sounded like fine china breaking as they looked around. It was at that moment, the sky had began opening. A small light broke apart as they watched the world above them opening and gentle light of purple started revealing. For a good moment, it looked to get close till without warning the sky started to close back up.
"What the heck was that!" Rarity screamed grabbing on to the closes person, being Applejack,
"Ah Don't know pardner Twi you got any idea?"
"Girls I really don't know. But maybe we should get back to the..."
Before she could finish up that response a loud crashing as a ball of fire began flying down crashing into the ground. They turned moving in and saw a being in the crater. It was None other then Discord Lord of Chaos the great beast and friend of Fluttershy. He laid there, body scruffed looking beyond broken. his eyes widened as though he was dying as he took long deep breaths.
"Hide me... Hide me! They're coming! They're COMING!" It was then this Discord collapsed as the girls watched him. Concern in their eyes as they wonder what he meant. What did he mean by they were coming? They quickly moved picking up the chaotic being and started dragging him off to the castle. Little did they know that everything they knew about their world was about to change.
The girls sat at the table a cup of tea in each hand as they stood in silence.
"Do you guys think Discord is going to be alright?" Fluttershy asked a moment of silence as they looked back to each other.
"Of course, he will be he's as Tough as Pinkie Pie and you've seen what she can take. He can take it and give it back."
"But guy's you saw him, he looked like he was hurt pretty bad. Whatever did this... Who did this? Really did a number on him. If we didn't find him who knows if he would have survived." Twilight muttered a long moment of silence as they felt time marching forward.
Redheart walked through the doors with a long sigh as she looked at the other ponies.
"He'll be fine he's awake, but you should take it easy. Whatever got him did a nasty bit of work. I don't even know it was possible to hurt a being of Chaos. But he'll make a full recovery.
The girls shuffled Red heart out of the way running off to Discords room. Fluttershy taking the lead. galloping off towards the room, as they saw Discord laying there. Bandages everywhere. if it wasn't for the situation it could have been considered funny. as Fluttershy moved in her hoof touching his side as she looked over towards him.
"Discord, what happened? Discord." Discord looked over a draugy look on his face like he was close to falling asleep, a hard grunt as he muttered,
"Discord, what are you talking about I'm not..." he looked down at his hands a wide expression went over his face as he looked down at them for the longest time.
"Oh no... this is not good."
"Whats no good, come on you've got to tell us!" The girls said why looking over at the chaotic being.
"You have got to get me out of here lock me away hide me before they find me. you... no we are all in grave danger."
"Discord tell us, what is going on! We need to know." Twilight added moving right in ready to shake the creature but he responded only by grabbing her hand.
"I am not your Discord!" He let out a long growl, before letting go a hard grunt as he help his side, leaning onto the bed looking back towards the others who were shocked.
"If your not our Discord then who are you? really you look like him." Rainbow Dash asked while the not Discord groaned.
"Yeah, this is why the fandom seems to make you the special ed one half the time. Listen I am Not him, It looks like I'm occupying his body. Just... Ok it's hard to explain but I'm an Author I'm Gahh!" a loud groan as he grabbed his side in pain while Rainbow dash looked more confused.
"What do you mean special ed, I'm no dummy!"
"Listen it feels like I'm being ripped molecule by molecule, can we cut to the chase. I am an author from another world. Call me Mr. Midnight, and we are all in danger. they are coming... or in some case, you are coming!" The new being known as Midnight called out but with it a loud boom. an eye widened.
"Shit. this isn't good get me outside. I have to stop this. I have to." but before he could say anything. The girls began running out Leaving Midnight there, a hard groan as they headed outside. He called out.
"Wait stop don't!" but it was too late as Mr. Midnight sat there barely able to move a long groan as he heard a voice.
"So I've found you Creator..." the voice was slow, angry and filled with hatred. Mr. Midnight turned around a shocked look on his face as he found himself bouncing out of bed. his hand reaching up.
"Get back Liesmith!"
The girls galloping out as they saw it. the sky's opening up the world looking beyond chaotic, and what they saw in the sky's horrified them. atop of them looked like worlds, and worlds expanding off passing their sight. but going beyond the infinite with endless possibilities. A gulp as Twilight took a deep breath.
"GIrls... I think we're in big trouble." as they stood there. not sure of what could happen. It was at that moment they began watching it. Balls of fire flying to the earth. like Meteors. Some are bigger than others. All of them with no signs of stopping as they slammed down and the very planet began to shake. the roars of screams like Angels falling from the very heavens itself.
THen as fast as it came, the sky would close up and the world returned to silence.
They ran in the door swinging open, as they called out.
"Ok what the hell is going on!" The girls looked back and found the one claiming to be Midnight was nowhere in sight. But on the ground, a small book one none of them had seen and a little note. They reached over grabbing it, and soon began reading it.
