After princess Luna had been freed she thought to her self many things why had she turned in to what she did she couldn't remember why? she also wondered how long she had been banished and whether any of the ponies she knew where alive. she still had mixed feelings about her sister Celestia so she decided that the best course of action was to return to her own palace instead of rushing to Canterlot. As her sister boarded the royal carriage and asked her "coming sister?" Luna replied "um no thank you Celestia, if its okay with you I would like to just stay around here and just"... Her sister had stopped her mid sentence "I know your finding this all so strange you have to have a look around i understand" she thought "not quite what i was going to say but close enough" "please sister ill be sure to raise the moon" spoke Luna almost pleadingly her lips drooping at the sides Celestia couldn't help but smile for her sister she had been without for so long "of course just be careful some ponies may not know you" "thank you sister" she exclaimed joyfully as she flapped her wings she also thought to her self "may not know me hmmm that means it must have been awhile". For a few minutes she looked as if she  wanted to get to know ponies while the carriage flew away. Once the transport was out of sight she landed and thought for a second "Nighcroft is so far away should I fly or try to teleport" she considered the fact that it was an enormous distance to use magic but flying would take forever then she resolved to teleport there this was gong to be a bit difficult it was not that it was so far it was that she hadn't done it in how long? Her horn glowed bright blue and her form dimly shone and then she was gone.Ice cold wind and snow assaulted her again her horn glowed and the snow and wind bent around her she looked ahead and saw only white for a third time her horn glowed now she felt woozy but ignored the dizziness and trotted through the snow she could now see giant black gates ahead of her and she thought "its still here  my city my subjects my friends" she she spotted a pony like figure atop the wall  "open the gate for princess of night"she stood proudly for awhile waiting for a reply like "oh my gosh you majesty at once" or "do as she said" but the blizzard offered more of a reply than the thing above. After awhile she started to get annoyed and yelled at the top of her lungs  "HEY" now the was reaction the thing looked down roared so loud that it left the princess feeling inadequate.Nine more appeared beside it roaring just as loud "i have a feeling things are about to get messy" the then creatures jumped down and landed in front of the moonriser and now sh got a good look at the they appeared to be ponies in shape but looked as if there skin had been removed and they were attacked  by something with wicked claws and painted black. Whatever they were she didn't know nor cared they wanted to make her die she disagreed her wings rose and her horn glowed and thats when things got bad sh had used up to much magic and fell over still just barely conciseness she saw them coming towards her and tried to fend them off but was unable to move and thought "well this is it i am freed then killed no pony will even know what happened" she felt like she was just about to die the one furthest dissapeared screaming the others stopped and turned around then the one most lefts head was punctured by some kind of spike and pulled away making uncomprehending noises. There was the sound of something being put through a wood chipper.there was a sudden burst in the opposite direction and in a blur of color three more were gone.The remaining five crowded around each other but two more were taken out by some sort of projectile two ran off leaving the bigger one snarling at them the fallen princess wondered who is doing that she tried to move and found she could.The last monster was facing the other way in which the others had run off  there was the sound of demonic laughter and chains rattling the princess stood her eyes, wings and horn glowed the monster stopped turned his head the princes leaned in and said "game over"and the monster exploded. she fell face first into the snow and thought "okay now I'm going to die"as she started to pass out she heard hooves in the snow but again instead of dieing she was lifted on to somethings back, a strange sudden warmth and heard sweet lullaby's  and felt her mane being stroked while being carried away the last thing she heard was"monster shes fading quickly take her into the big one and guard the door i will take care of her " in a very high voice and a deep grunt.
