Apex Pedator

Meet Dagger. He is a member of an alien race that evolved as predators called the Yauja. In Yauja society, your social position dose not depend on how much money you have. It's your body count that matters, it is also dependent on what your prey was. Dagger was only blooded, became an adult, three days ago and had taken the skull of the first serpent he killed and built the plasma caster he earned into it. He then became known by many members of his race as 'Dual-Head Dagger'.

Daggers elder brother was Scar and he was his idol. Dagger looked up to Scar for guidance and trusted him more than any other Yauja. However, Scar died during his rite of passage, becoming blooded, at the Earth pyramid. So Dagger decided to mould his bio-mask to look like his big brothers' mask to show the respect he had for his brother. He then acquired a standard ship and went out in search of honour and glory as his brother would want him to. As he was traveling to an unmarked world he responded to a transmission from his mother. The language they spoke would sound only like growling and clicking to other species.

She expressed gratitude for her son bringing honour to the family but was also considered about her son. She had already lost her mate and elder son and while she wasn't going to break down and weep, she still didn't want to lose her son. Especially since Dagger had a potential mate and Daggers mother wanted her lineage to continue. Dagger, as a result, puffed out his chest and made an official declaration and promise to his mother.

"I will honour the memory of father and Scar, and make you proud. Everyone will see that you bared the best warrior our race has ever seen. I will not die" Dagger said.

With that, Daggers mother nodded with content and disconnected the transmission. Dagger then went to the bridge of the dimly lighted ship to see if he had arrived at the new uncharted planet. Several controls flashed and beeped, prompting Dagger to bring the ship into orbit around the new planet. He chose this place because he already knew all the current prey and he wanted to have a real challenge. He knew nothing of what was here, so he would be forced to learn and adapt to what ever dangers awaited him. What else could bring so much pride and honour to oneself, their family, and their culture?

As the ship entered a stable orbit Dagger went to his armoury to chose his armour and weapons. He put on his armour first, covering his chest, shoulders, and shins but leaving his abdomen exposed.

'Can't let it be too easy' thought Dagger.

He then began arming himself. Two dual-blade wrist gauntlets, three retractable blade throwing stars, one curved sword, two combi sticks, and finally his signature Serpent head plasma caster. After a quick test of the tri-point targeting system he went to one of the shuttlecraft and begun the countdown to launch. Each of the four squares were going dark slowly.

"For you, Scar" said Dagger.

The shuttle launched and descended rapidly to the planet below.

Ponyville...

Twilight was awoken earlier then usual when Spike loudly belched a letter from the Royal Sisters. As the scroll floated down Twilight unrolled it with her magic and read out loud.

"Dear Princess Twilight, I apologize for waking you at this early hour but there has been a disturbing turn of events in Canterlot. I believe the Elements of Harmony are needed to stop this very powerful Vigilante. From Princess Celestia and Princess Luna" Twilight read.

"A powerful Vigilante?" Wondered Spike.

Twilight immediately went to her balcony and sent up a magical signal to summon her friends. Slowly, one by one, her friends appeared and were a little groggy, as well as cranky, from being up early.

"Alright Twilight. What's going on? I was having a really good dream" Asked Rainbow.

"So was I, and you know that I need my beauty sleep" said Rarity.

"There is once again somepony who needs to be shown the errors of their ways. The Royal Sisters will tell us more when when we get to Canterlot" explained Twilight.

Her friends just groaned.

"There is coffee on the train there" said Twilight.

All her friends cheered.

Canterlot Castle...

"Again, I apologize for the early hour but this cannot wait. I will lay out some context, for a little less than a year the Royal Guard have been trying to find the slave market ring that had established Itself in Canterlot. Somepony else, however, had found them first and single hoofly took them out" Princess Celestia explained.

"Then what do you need us for? A badass found some bad guys and busted them" said Rainbow Dash.

Celestia and Luna gave Rainbow Dash a look and Celestia sighed. She didn't understand the gravity of the situation and was not taking it seriously.

"Could you leave the room for few minutes Spike?" Requested Princess Celestia.

Everypony was wondering why Spike had to leave but Spike ultimately decided to do as the Princess asked.

"Uh, Sure" said Spike.

As soon as he closed the door Princess Celestia got out several photographs and placed them on the table.

"Dose this answer your question, Rainbow Dash?" Asked Princess Luna rhetorically.

The six friends immediately reacted with disgust at what they saw, Fluttershy fainted and Rarity puked. Ponies along with Griffins and Diamond Dogs were strung upside down from the ceiling without their skin and organs, and that was just the tip of the iceberg. The wings of Pegasui and Griffins were removed and the horns of unicorns were removed as well. Whole spines connected to their skulls were completely torn away and many of the bodies were even just plain decapitated.

"All the villains were slaughtered and the slave victims were unharmed. This is the work of a vigilante. The newspapers have already printed this event and many citizens have given this person a name, The Psycho Vigilante" said Princess Celestia.

Rarity then used her magic to flip the photos over so she, nor the other girls, could not see them anymore.

"This is just beyond brutality" Rarity Stated.

"That just an't right" said Applejack.

"This guy is a real mean party pooper" said Pinkie.

"This is really bad" said Rainbow.

"Celestia, we are going to find whoever this is and bring them to justice" said Twilight.

"Before you began your hunt there are a few unusual things I think you six should know. There have been reports of clicking sounds a little before and a little after the attack. Also, investigation of the crime scene revealed a strange glowing substance that will be given to you when you meet up with Shining Armour" said Princess Luna.

Daggers Shuttle...

50 kills was the final count of the first fight. The skulls were clean, the wings dipped in preservation wax, horns organized, and they were all on display. His armour did take some hits from the magic blasts, for lack of a better term. It had some cracks in it but still mostly intact never the less so he decided to keep it on for the time being. Though he did have spare sets of armour just in case. He was also cut across the left thigh but he cauterized the wound.

"Not a bad start to my hunt but I've not been given a real challenge yet. No matter, something more powerful is bound to appear and when it dose I will best it in battle" Dagger said to himself.

He then exited his spacecraft into the very, very big cave he was in. The spacecraft itself was docked to the side of an underground pyramid.

Outskirts of Canterlot...

"I will not fail this time. I'll go strait to all the princesses, that Discord, and the Elements of Harmony first as soon a I gain enough power. I'll suck all their magic dry and I'll kill Twilight this time" said a cloaked figure.
