A Date with Fluttershy and Discord
Discord was very stressful right now as he paced around his house as he was getting prepared. He couldn't believe that this was happening all of a sudden.
"I can't believe it's today," he said to himself as he was searching through a closet, searching for some clothes to wear.
A few days ago while he was at Fluttershy's house for their usual tea party together, he mentioned how lovely the gardens in Ponyville were lovely and how fun it would be if he and Fluttershy went out together. But, he didn't expect her to think it was a wonderful idea and suggest that they go on a date together.
But that was not only reason why Discord was completely nervous about going on his first date with the pegasus. The draconequus enjoyed his time spending time with Fluttershy. She was his friend after all. But for some reason, he was beginning to see her more than just a friend. No, he couldn't stop thinking about how beautiful she was with her teal eyes, her light pink mane, her gentle smile, and the desire to hold her close to him. Surprisingly, those thoughts made his heart beat faster than it usually does. It didn't take him long to realize that he was starting to fall in love with her. He thought that maybe he should reveal his hidden feelings to Fluttershy on their date.
While part of him wanted to tell Fluttershy about his feelings to her, another part of him was worried that she would reject his feelings and would rather find a handsome stallion to be in love with instead of someone like him.
As those thoughts were running through his mind, the draconequus looked at a mirror and looked at his reflection. Looking at his reflection, Discord thought back to all those times he spent with Fluttershy. He recalled how Fluttershy accepted him as his first friend when he never had one friend in his life. She didn't seem to mind how different he was to her and enjoyed her times they spent together.
Still looking at the mirror, Discord took a deep breath and calmed down before thinking for a minute. If he wants things to go well between him and Fluttershy on this date, he was going to make sure that it was going to happen.
After finding the right tuxedo to wear on his date, Discord looked at the clock and saw that it was almost time to pick up Fluttershy. He snapped his fingers and teleported himself to Fluttershy's house.
He appeared outside of Fluttershy's house and was near the door. As he prepared to knock, the draconequus remembered one more thing.
"Whoops! Almost forgot!"
He quickly summoned a bouquet of roses before making sure his outfit was straight. He knocked on the door before he heard Fluttershy say, "Just a minute."
As he waited, Discord found himself feeling nervous. He kept telling himself that this date will be fine as long as he doesn't do anything that would make him look like a fool in front of Fluttershy.
He was deep in thought that he did not hear the door open.
"Discord?"
Hearing Fluttershy talking to him, Discord turned his attention to the pegasus before he got a good look at her.
Fluttershy was wearing a beautiful green dress with some roses in her hair and a rose on her dress. Once he saw what she wearing, Discord found himself not saying any words as he was amazed at how beautiful Fluttershy looked in her dress. Fluttershy looked at him, wondering what was going on.
"Um, Discord? Is everything okay?"
Coming back to his senses, Discord looked at the pegasus.
"No, of course not!" he replied quickly. He quickly cleared his throat before he looked at her. "You look absolutely amazing in that dress."
Fluttershy blushed at this. "Thank you. When I told Rarity how I was going on my first date with you, she offered to design the dress."
Remembering the bouquet he was holding, Discord handed it to her. "I brought you these flowers."
Taking the flowers from Discord, Fluttershy smiled. "Thank you, Discord. That's really sweet of you."
Hearing what she said, Discord felt his heart thumping in joy. So far, things are going well, he thought to himself, Just need to make sure this date goes well without a problem before I confess my feeling to her.
Looking at the pegasus, Discord held out his paw and asked, "So, um... Shall we go now?"
Smiling at Discord, Fluttershy touched his paw before she answered. "Yes. We may."
With hoof and paw holding each other, Fluttershy and Discord set off for the gardens.
When they arrived, the two of them spent a wonderful afternoon in the gardens. They enjoyed looking at the beautiful plants that grew while little animals were playing. At a nearby fountain were a couple of swans that swam together almost as if they were a couple as well. Fluttershy and Discord watched as the two swans swam together before looking at each other.
While he was enjoying his time with Fluttershy, Discord knew he still needed to confess to Fluttershy about how he loved her before deciding that he would tell her when they are alone.
Many hours passed until night came. Fluttershy and Discord sat down on a stone bench as they both looked at each other. Fluttershy smiled sweetly as she looked at him while Discord rubbed the back of his neck, trying to find the courage to tell her.
"Fluttershy?" he asked, holding her hooves.
"Yes, Discord?" asked Fluttershy.
"There's something I want to tell you. I know that I'm not a pony like you, but I enjoy spending time with you than anything else. Every time I spend with you, it makes me feel warm inside." He said. "What I want to say is that I love you very much."
Fluttershy looked at him in surprise before she spoke.
"Discord, I have something to say to you as well."
Discord looked at her in surprise. "You do?"
Fluttershy nodded as she continued. "I love you too."
The moment she said those words, she kissed him on the lips. Discord's eyes widened in surprise once she kissed him before he kissed as well.
After their sweet and passionate kiss, the two of them looked at the night sky while gazing at the stars. Fluttershy sat close to Discord as she nuzzled against his fur while he stroked her mane. Discord smiled as he stroke her mane. Not only has his first date with Fluttershy gone perfectly well as he had planned, but the mare that he loves also loves him back in return. Neither he or Fluttershy would never forget this wonderful night that they spent on their first date together.
