“Well, Twi. I must say you have a serious problem at hand.” Anon stated before continuing.

“But. I think that there might be a reason for that to happen now. I mean. Nobles were part of Canterlot for centuries, and they only started to act up now?” Anon instructed.

“What do you mean? Do you think there is something bigger behind this?” Twilight asked, a bit worried.

“You see Twi. In my world, there were paths that most politicians made to ensure that they stay out of sight of governments. And this situation... It is weird to me. I mean, like who puts this much effort into two taxes that are like 4% and 6%, That just doesn't add up. Either Celestia or Luna is trying to give you a lesson about the ruling. And they had something to do with it. Or there is something that Nobles don’t want you to see.” Anon explained.

“I would bet that might have been something to do with resources. For the last month, the price and amount of resources for construction were shifting heavily. To the point where I needed to get some more... Well, shady commissions. Of course, nothing for you to worry about.” Anon finished.

“I need to take a look at that. If they are trying to build something, I need to know what.” Twilight stated.

“Not certainly built. Those materials could be used for various things. From simply trading to securing their assets. Better take a look at where they are sending it. Not how much or what they're trying to do. When you find where they are storing them. You will find what they are doing with them.” Anon corrected.

“I should come to you more often, Anon. You are a great friend. And you possess so much knowledge. Thank you.” Twilight said, ready to leave.

“No problem, Twi. If I can, I will help. Though, I must ask you to not mention me to anyone. I want to remain...Anonymous. If you know what I mean.” Anonymous said laughing while Twilight was annoyed by a bad pun Anon made.

“Sure. Thanks again. I hope I will find time to talk to you soon, take care.” Twilight said while leaving.

“You too.” Anonymous answered before closing the door.

“Alright. Now back to business.” Anon said while pouring himself a glass of whiskey.

Couple of Days later...

What happened in those couple of days was something that no one could predict. Well, almost no one.

Twilight made sure to check on the things Anon mentioned while trying to stay with both Princess Luna and Celestia at full readiness. She talked to somepony that gave her the contact list to the stallion that had been seen with nobles like Greenpeace. The stallion in question then gave her another piece of info about Nobles and kingdoms from the north. Mainly about the market there. It sparked her interest that their market was not very stable as well. The same things as concrete, metal, and construction materials were brought in large quantities and sold to someone, somewhere.

Celestia ordered a secret meeting with north kingdoms that later confirmed that they have this problem too. Something was off. And after questioning some more ‘loyal’ members of the noble tree. They acquired some pretty good info about the situation.

Turns out the Count Greenpeace family tree is not an equestrian noble branch at all. They are part of the northern kingdoms' tree line. And that meant that they could at any given time just kick him out of the country. But there was another problem. They have been creating this ‘town’ that would be used to mass-produce weapons and be the center of operation against the crown in a couple of months. This was unbelievable. Sixteen noble families were now trying to overtake the crown. This information is not good for the future of both kingdoms. Celestia proposed an operation with the Northern kingdoms that would clear out those traitors and take them into the light of justice.

This meant that there was a lot of work to do. A lot. Twilight was praised by both Celestia and Luna for finding out about that. But she quickly stated that this was proposed to her by none other than Anonymous. She then realized that Anon was meant to remain nameless. So she asked Princesses to not give out this information to anypony. Even Anonymous. She does not want him to think that she can’t keep her word. But clearly. She can’t.

The whole operation was meant to take place at the Greenpeace party at the end of the month. Everyone who was invited was, besides the unsure ones. Was filled in the situation. But to make sure that the word stays hidden, everypony that was involved was marked by a special spell that forced them to not talk about it.

When the day finally came and all the traitors were in one place, Celestia gave an order and with a bit of fighting. The situation was quickly stable again. For the crimes that nobles committed, they were sentenced to the highest possible penalty that laws allowed. Lifetime in prison. The crimes were different from simple theft to torture and betrayal of Equestria. Count Greenpeace was given into the hooves of Northern Kingdoms as he originally was from the Northern family tree. They sentenced him to death.

Even after Twilight begged the representatives of the Northern kingdoms to spare Count’s life. He still was killed. That was the first time, after taking the throne, Twilight felt like a bad ruler. Sure, he has done some bad things and was not an equestrian citizen.

This was the first of many battles she needed to participate in while being a ruler. Celestia saw that Twilight, although kind and noble, has still much to learn. Magic of Friendship is powerful. But the ruling is very demanding at times. And she needs to prepare herself if she wants to rule ‘alone’.

Currently, Celestia. Who forgot about Anon. Was again reminded of him from Twilight. Anonymous, who was just a normal citizen, could see behind the Canterlot nobles when he did not even meet any pony from that group. This was very unusual to her. She can’t help but investigate this. Should she do it privately or openly? This human... It was more interesting than she thought.

She collected information about him from her contacts.

‘’Anonymous is a ‘human’. Has possessed a great amount of knowledge about every topic that comes to mind. He is quite strong, has the strength of young Alicorn, and has capabilities in both being a leader and an employee. His hobbies are drinking, working around his house, and sex. He is reported to have sex with 4 mares to this day. (Their information is attached to the file.) His employer Spring Stone is taking advantage of him by giving him much more work than the others have. But Anonymous is not aware of that. His anatomy suggests that he is capable of stealth actions and throwing weapons with better accuracy and strength than most ponies could with magic. Though, he is rather calm. Only aggressive behavior was reported when he was in a state of drunk when he threw one of the game participants at the bar across the table.``

“More detailed information suggests that he does-” Celestia continued to read from the report one of her spies gave her.

“What are you reading, Sister?” Luna stated to Celestia’s surprise.

“Wha-N-Nothing! Just old reports about the climate.” Celestia stuttered at the sudden question. She hadn't seen her sister approach her and was surprised.

“Well then. I want to talk to you about the current situation. We have some ideas for correcting the laws now that the nobles can’t influence our demands.”

“Alright, I will call for Twilight to come.” Celestia stated.

“Does she need to come? We are capable of making decisions by ourselves.” Luna hesitated.

“Lulu. I know that you still think it's too early for her. But the sooner we start teaching her, the sooner she will be able to replace us.” Celestia assured her sister.

“...Alright then. Meet us in the conference room then, Sister.” Luna said while leaving.

“This is going to be a long day...” Celestia said quietly to herself after Luna left.

Later that night

Celestia finished reading Anon’s report. And was amazed at his ‘achievements’. She started to think about Anon as a valuable asset to Equestria rather than this weird creature that sparked her interest a few months ago. She caught herself still thinking about when she first met him. Something about this half-naked human who was working in sweat was making her head spin. Why is she so attached to this memory? It keeps exciting her, she becomes much lewder than she used to be. Now realizing she has been doing ‘this’ every day while telling herself that because of stress...

Celestia can't believe this. She might ‘actually’ be in love with that creature. She stopped. Thinking, does attraction mean that she is in love? No, clearly not. Then why would she think about him that way...

Maybe...

She could... Ask... Cadence?

‘No. That’s not a good idea...’ she quickly backed up on that. ‘I’m a grown mare, I have lived for over 2000 years now. Why would I need to ask about that? I can take care of myself’

‘I don’t even love this ‘Anonymous’ It would be only sex...’ She said hysterically. Not knowing what ‘that’ came from.

Still, lying to herself was not a good idea. She read and heard from Anon that he is not looking for a relationship. Even if she wished to consider this, she would need Anon to look for a partner. And that would not be an easy thing to do. Considering that, she hasn’t been in any form of relationship in over 500 years.

This is a mess. She thinks about him as a possible partner. No way she can even convince him to be with her...

...

Well... She could technically make a scandal with him in the middle... And that would cut him off from sex with other mares. Then that would create this void in his life that would make it possible for her to get closer to him. Then she could convince this lonely creature to consider her proposal.

But that’s just ridiculous. No way, she is that desperate to get to him.

Also, I needed that noble thread for later. Sorry that this is kinda rushed and not really detailed. I just want this story to progress more in relationship, and it has been already 10+ chapters without any real interaction.
