It was cold Friday night and the roads were currently iced from the temperature, a black Ferrari is seen driving down the highway at a reasonable speed as to not crash or lose control. Inside said Ferrari is a grown man in his late twenties jamming to some old songs from the 90’s, the man currently in the drivers seat was above average height, about 7'0 and had caramel colored hair with emerald green eyes and was wearing blue jeans, a plain red shirt and a black leather jacket. The name of the man is Ash Westwind, and he is an engineer for Ackerman-Estvold, North Dakota and grew up in a rich family, but he always stuck to the words "To those who are deserving of earning are those who put in their own weight", so he never wanted to smooch off of his parents when he moved out of the house, even if it would have been the easy route. Ash was currently heading home to celebrate Christmas with his family who were in the next state over. Ash was tapping his fingers on the wheel when he heard a constant ringing next to him. He looked to his left and saw that it was his phone ringing, he kept his eyes on the road and picked up the device, and answered the call "Hello." He had to move the phone away from his ear when he heard a loud yell that made his ear drums ring. "Hey Ash, how's my favorite little bro doing?"

This causes him to chuckle "Hey Conner, nothing much, just heading home. How's the family doing without me, is mom still bugging you about getting a girlfriend?"

A sigh could be heard on the other end of the line "Listen, we both know mom is bugging me and you, so why don't you get a girlfriend, hm? Maybe then that'll give me enough time to have her off my back for once. We got some time when Emily got Mr. Pretty Boy, so you need to give me time, got it?"

Ash only shakes his head "Man, aren't you selfish, and this is supposed to be the time of giving and being nice.”

Conner retorted with a chuckle "Fuck off man" making Ash burst out laughing. “”

“Anyways, Con, is mom there?" There was a small bit of shuffling on the other end of the line and some inaudible words, until Ash heard another loud shout.

"Asher! How's my baby doing?" Ash blushes out of embarrassment of his real name.

“Hey mom, I'm doing great, it's nice to hear you again, and I'm on my way home right now. I should be there in about a few hours, just in time for Christmas."

"Good, now, on to another topic", Ash groaned knowing what was coming next "Did you happen to find a lucky girl while you were away?"

"No, and it's only been a few months, you think I'm going to find the girl of my dreams in that short amount of time?"

Ash's mom could only chuckle "A women can hope, I just don't want you to be alone for the rest of your life, you know how you were a quiet kid when you were younger."

Ash replied sarcastically "You really have faith in me, other than that, these things take time. I mean, Emily was friends with Jack for 4-5 years before they even started dating, and look at them now, engaged."

Ash's mom sighed and said she understood, but lightened the mood with "That doesn't mean I'm going to stop trying on your older brother", a voice saying 'I heard that!' was in the background making the two laugh.

Ash then looked back up at the road and could see small lights in the foggy distance and whispered to himself "That car is..." he trailed off when he saw a semi truck swerving on the wrong side of the road causing Ash to panic, but even under this situation he tried to find a way to avoid the truck. But, the truck was speeding too rapidly and a large honk could be heard in the distance making Ash's mom call out to him in worry and panic. He ignored her and realized there was no way out except if he drove off the highway into the water below him.

He acted fast and turned the wheel with a hard right, crashing into the stone wall and flying off the road into the water, but the truck hit his bumper hard causing his car to spin while in midair. The car landed in water, cracking the windows letting cold water seep into the vehicle, the windows soon gave out, sending water everywhere inside the car. Ash was holding his breath and trying unbuckle the seat belt as the water was rising higher and higher, but it was stuck.

His lungs were soon beginning to give out and fail. But the last thing he could hear or remember before he blacked out was a feminine voice saying "You will be the one."

Ash groaned and felt like his body just sat out in an entire blizzard, naked. He laid there for a few moments trying to regain his bearings until he remembered what happened previously. He was driving home for the holidays from work, he was talking to his older brother and mother, a semi truck was driving on the wrong side of the highway, he drove off the bridge and into the water and started drowning in the cold water because the seat belt was stuck, lastly he heard a female voice tell him something, like, 'you will be the one'. Whatever that means. He opened his eyes and looked to see he was in a weird looking forest, confusing him immensely "Didn't I die?" He tried to think this over but his thoughts were cut off by multiple low growls all around him. He stood up, knowing he would be more vulnerable sitting down and began to look around for the source of the noises. Ash heard a louder growl from behind him making him turn around to see a pack of wolves made out of twigs and sticks, leaving him bewildered at the creatures. Ash was brought out of his stupor when he realized he was being circled by about three or four more of the animals... would you even call them animals? Plants? Never mind that, Ash shook his head to think of a way out of this predicament. Ash noticed a tree next to him that was far taller than the wolves and climbable as well, he also noticed a sizable rock next to him, he began to form a plan to get him out of this situation. Ash kicked the rock sending the wolves attention to the propelling object. Ash took his chance and ran to the tree and started to expertly climb it making his away from the wolves. He started hopping from one tree branch to another on different branches that could just barely support his weight.

Ash saw a light up ahead and figured it must have been the exit to the forest. He made one final leap and landed on the ground below and took off into a sprint, once he knew he was far away enough he stopped to take a breather and noticed there was a nice watering hole nearby. After about two to three minutes of sitting down, he got back up and made his way to the watering hole. Once he was there, he knelt down and drunk up a good amount of water, but when he heard a twig snap behind him, he quickly grabbed the closest object he could find and brace himself into a defensive stance, but quickly relaxed when he saw that it was just a cute little white rabbit. He laughed at his overreaction and started over to the rabbit in three strides and knelt down. He spoke in a friendly voice "Hey there little bunny, do you know where I am, because I don't think I'm in my right mind right now." The rabbit shook its head and ran off into the bushes, Ash only shook his, "What was I expecting?" Ash stood back up to his full height before he heard a yell above him, he looked up to see a blue blur falling towards him at an alarming rate. He didn't have enough time to react before the blue blur collided with him sending him flying back into a pack of stones. The back of his head slammed into a rock knocking him out cold.

Location: Unknown

"So this is him? He doesn't look like much."

"Either way, he's the chosen one, so we'll just have to work with him and prepare him for what he'll do when the time comes."

Ponyville Hospital

Ash groaned and rubbed the back of his head to try and make the pain he was feeling subside. "Man, feels like everything is trying to kill me today, but all the attempts are, luckily for me, futile." Ash sits up and realizes he's in some sort of hospital room. Before he could examine anything else, the door opened and in came in a white humanoid pony with a nurse outfit on, and her pink hair in a tight bun. Ash said under his breath with a bewildered expression "I must have hit my head a little too hard."

Ash's whisper startled the white pony because she let out a high pitched yelp "You can talk!"

Ash gave a shocked expression "You can speak!? And understand me?" The pony only nodded dumbly and started walking towards me making me jump off the bed and hold up my hands, "Now hold on, I don't need some random animal that can speak coming near me!"

The pony gave an irritated look "I'm not just some random animal, I'm a pony.”

Ash shook his head "An anthropomorphic one that can walk on two legs... hooves? And can speak as well."

Her face loss the irritated look and spoke in a calm tone "My name is Nurse Redheart, and you are?"

Ash stood quiet for a couple of seconds before he responded "Ash, Ash Westwind." Nurse Redheart nodded and asked if Ash could sit back on the bed so she can change the bandages. Ash hesitantly nodded and reasoned that she needed to reach his head because she was about a good 5'9 in height. Nurse Redheart fluently changed the bandages and told him to wait where he was, Ash nodded and waited until he saw about six more anthropomorphic ponies file into the room.

All of the six ponies stared at Ash in wonder, then a purple pony with a horn walked up to him "Hi, my name is Twilight Sparkle, Princess of Friendship and protege of Princess Celestia." Twilight had purple fur and purple hair with a pink highlight in it and was wearing a purple button up with a white undershirt, a purple pencil skirt that went to her knees and was currently wearing glasses.

Ash gave a tiny wave and asked with curiosity "Are you a unicorn?" Twilight gave a slight nod leaving Ash in awe.

Next, came an orange pony who had blonde hair which was in a ponytail. That tiny concept made Ash chuckle a little. The orange pony then spoke in the most southern accent. "Hi, mah name's Applejack, and I help run Sweet Apple Acres and produce the apples for Equestria."

"Hm, Equestria, at least now I know where I am." Applejack stuck out her hand and Ash gladly took it, they shook hands and Ash commented "You sure have a strong grip." Applejack gave a friendly smile at the compliment. Applejack was wearing a red plaid crop top, small jean shorts and to top off the cowgirl look, she was wearing a stetson hat.

A white unicorn with fancy, curly purple hair walked up next, she spoke with a posh accent "My name is Rarity, and own the boutique down here in Ponyville, and please come by the boutique sometime, Darling. I could use the inspiration for a new fashion line, just... not... your certain style."

I ignored the style comment and brought her hand up and planted a soft kiss on the top of it "It would be a pleasure dear Rarity."

Rarity sported a small blush "My, handsome and a gentlecolt." Rarity was wearing blue eye shadow and purple dress that hugged her figure nicely.

When Ash stood up to his full height, he saw in the corner of his eye, a yellow pony with long pink hair cower behind one of her friends. This made Ash turn and face her, the attention he gave her made her even more nervous. Ash knelt and said in gentle voice "Hey, I might look big, but I'm not going to hurt you" the yellow pony was hesitant but quietly started to show herself "What's your name?"

"F-Fluttershy…",

Ash leaned in more because she spoke so quietly "I'm sorry, I didn't catch that."

"F-Fluttershy."

Ash smiled sweetly and said "It's nice to meet you Fluttershy, my name's Ash" Ash moved closer to her ear and whispered "If it makes you feel any better, I used to be really shy around new people, and still am sometimes."

This got a smile out of Fluttershy "Really?"

Ash nodded "Really." Fluttershy was wearing a green sweater and a pink skirt that went down to her thighs. Ash also noticed something on her back and asked "Are- Are those wings?" Fluttershy nodded meekly.

"Yes, I'm a Pegasus", Ash gave out an awestruck expression once again.

This made Twilight ask "Doesn't your kind have them?"

Ash shook his head "Unicorns and Pegasi are considered a myth in my world."

Before Twilight could continue, a pink body and blue eyes filled Ash's vision startling him, as well as making him fall backwards. The pink body sat on top of him and rambled "Hi! MynameisPiniePieit'snicetomeetyou, whatdoyouprefer? Cakesorpie? WhenyougetoutofhereIneedtothrouwyoua'WelcometoPonyville, butalsoEquestria'party!" She was then pulled off by a purple aura, but I wasn't surprised figuring Twilight did it and she's a unicorn, though the concept of magic was still a little unsettling.

"Pinkie!" Twilight scolded.

"My name is Ash Westwind, it's nice to meet you as well. I prefer cakes over pies and I don't really know how I feel about having a party", this got everyone to look at Ash in surprise. "I had an old friend who used to do the same thing."

Lastly, a blue pegasus who had a rainbow hair spoke in a raspy voice "My name's Rainbow Dash, the fastest fly in all of Equestria and soon to be Wonderbolt!”

Ash gave her a look of confusion "The Wonder-what?"

She gave me a look of utter shock and said "The Wonderbolts, the most coolest and awesome flying team ever!" Ash only says he's never heard of them, still much to Rainbow Dash's surprise. Rainbow Dash was wearing a white fitted tank top and black running shorts and a pair of black fingerless gloves.

Ash took a close look at her "Hold on a second, aren't you the one who flew into and made me knock my head on a rock?"

Rainbow Dash averted everyone's gaze and said sheepishly with a blush "Yeah, sorry about that, that was an accident." Ash only sighed and said it was fine.

Nurse Redheart then came into the room telling Ash that he is free to go, Ash gives a nod as well as a thanks and walks out of the hospital with Twilight and her friends. "So, how do I get home? And is there even a way for me to get home?"

Twilight and the girls look at him with frowns, then Twilight suggests "I might not have a way to get you home, but if there is anypony who would be able to get you back to your world its the princesses.”

Ash nods in understanding and then asks "So what am I going to do for the time being?"

Applejack says "Well, you can always help me and mah family with the apple farm.”

"You can stop by my boutique so I can make you a batch of clothes, Darling.”

"We can still celebrate your 'Welcome to Ponyville and Equestria' party!"

Ash thanks them for the help, then Twilight says "You can come and stay with me in the meantime." Ash nods to nods to all of them in thanks.

Everyone soon disperses and goes their separate ways while Ash and Twilight head back to her home. While they were walking through town Ash could see the townsfolk staring at him and giving him looks from curious to terrified because he was a creature none of them have ever seen before.
Twilight then asks Ash "So, what species are you and where were you from?"

"I come from a planet called 'Earth' and I lived in a state called North Dakota, U.S.A. I'm also known as a human where I'm from", Twilight hums after writing it down on a piece of paper. "I guess she made those magically appear."

Twilight then asks "What does 'U.S.A' mean?"

Ash chuckles and says "It stands for 'United States of America'."

Twilight hummed again "So what did you do when you were on 'Earth'?"

"Well, I'm an engineer and I've been one for years, I love doing it and I plan to keep on doing it if I can."

Twilight smiles says five minutes later "Well, home sweet home", Ash looks up to see a tree library.

Ash says "You live in an actual tree?" Twilight nods and gestures him to follow her inside, he does so and is impressed on the inside. "The tree is still able to thrive even with there being holes and everything, now that's impressive."

Ash was cut out of his thoughts when Twilight calls out "Spike, I'm home and I brought a friend!"

Ash could hear running and thought "Hm, well, I guess she must have a dog." What Ash saw next surprised him to no extent. What came walking in from what Ash could assume was the kitchen was a big green and purple lizard. "Wait is that...?!" Ash ran up to Spike and asked "Are you a real dragon?"

Spike gave a small gasp of surprise then said nervously "Yes..."

A giant grin plastered onto Ash's face "That is the coolest thing ever! It's every boys dream to see a real dragon! *Gasp* Can you breathe fire?"

Spike was taken aback by his enthusiasm, but answered with cockiness "Yeah, I'm a real dragon, and I can breathe fire. My name's Spike.”

Spike put out his tiny hand to which Ash gladly shook and said "Nice to meet you, my name's Ash." Spike nodded in acknowledgement.

Spike then asked "So, are you the one Rainbow Dash crashed into?" Ash only nodded, Twilight then stepped in between them and tells Spike to take a message, and out of no where Spike pulled out a piece of parchment paper and a quill from behind his back. Ash wasn't going to ask about that.

Dear Princess Celestia,

It has come to my attention that my friends and I (mostly Rainbow Dash) have found a new species that has transported into this world somehow. He calls himself a human, and his name is Ash Westwind as me and my friends have been informed. I also send this note to you as to ask if there is any way you and Princess Luna could return him back to his home as he has requested of my friends and I. I hope this letter finds you well and write back as soon as you can.

Twilight Sparkle

Spike holds up the scroll and breathes fire on it, making it disappear into a green smoke that goes out through the tree window. Ash only stares in shock at Spike and yells "What'd you do that for!? You were supposed to send it, not burn it to a crisp!" Twilight informed Ash of how he did send it and that Spike has two kinds of flames. One to burn and one to send friendship reports and letters to the princess. With this explanation, Ash calmed down, but then Spike burped up green flames leaving a scroll in front of him as well. Twilight grabbed the scroll with her magic and began to read it allowed:

Dear Twilight Sparkle,

Thank you for sending me this letter of this unknown creature to me. Please send this 'Ash' to the castle tomorrow and bring your friends along with you as well. We will discuss further details with all of you about our findings tomorrow, but until then, keep up the friendship reports my dear student.
P.S.) Luna says 'Hello' to you Twilight.

When Twilight was done reading the letter she rolled it back up and sent it somewhere else with her magic. "So, as the princess said, you will have to stay here until further notice and then tomorrow, you will get to personally meet the princesses." Ash only nodded in nervousness, I mean who could blame him, he's meeting royalty and he doesn't even have anything fancy or presentable to wear when he meets them. So, he'll have to make do with what he has on him, which isn't really much but it's still something. After his little inner turmoil, Twilight shows him around and brings him to where he will be staying, for now.

As Ash lies his head down he thinks "I hope things will turn out for the better ... I hope my family is doing okay. I guess I won't be able to come and visit them this Christmas, but at least I'm not dead, so that's a plus, right? And I hope meeting the princesses goes well."

Police sirens continue to blare in the dark cold night as they investigate the scene in front of them, but as they drag out the black broken Ferrari, a dark figure starts moving through the shadows, blending in with them entirely. A menacing voice can be heard from the figure "Your out there somewhere Ash Westwind, and I will find you." Any trace of the figure is gone as the police try to make with what they can of the mysterious car crash.

Little does everyone know this is just the beginning of both world’s destruction.
