As if on cue, a white unicorn with began to walk over to him. Her hair was the same color of blue that resided in Celestia’s mane and she was a simple white sundress. Her hair was curled and she had a fair amount of makeup on. She was also secretly wearing the necklace he made for her, trying her best to let us show but also allow it to be hidden at the same time.

She joined him on the blanket and Ash gave a small kiss to her hand. “Evening Sunshine,” she gave a small giggle before returning the favor with a nuzzle.

“And to you too, my love.” Joining him on the blanket Ash wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her closer in.

Grabbing two wine glasses he stole from the castle kitchen, he poured the wine and handed her a glass. Taking it, she gave a small sip and hummed in delight at the taste. Added some for himself, he lightly twirled the glass, letting the contents swirl inside. “So, what would you call yourself if anyone asks? We’ll likely be seen in public and ponies will ask for the same of the unicorn dating the first human.”

Setting down her glass, she brought her hand to her chin in thought “I’ve really never thought about it before, but I suppose something like that will arise.”

Thinking about it some more, she came up with a name that she liked “How about Lazuli Dawn?”

“It’s your ‘name’ you’re choosing, not me but I think it sounds lovely.” Ash gave her a kiss on the cheek before grabbing plates to put the spaghetti on.

“The food looks lovely Ash.” He gave a nod of thanks and allowed her to place her own serving. Giving himself some, he grabbed his phone and put on a light classical tune.

The both soon began a conversation of what Ash’s life was like when he was back home, and Celestia gave some stories when she was back in her youth.

Their date continued on and Celestia’s mouth watered at the sight of dessert. Ash was packing everything up while Celestia was waltzing to the music on the phone. When he was done, he looked over to her and saw her dancing. Letting out a soft laugh, he grabbed one of his hands and held hers while with the other he placed it on her lower back. ‘Lazuli Dawn’ returned the embrace, or tried to because of the size difference to which Ash chuckled at. He knelt down more for her to reach.

The two began a slow dance as the music played in the background. Celestia gave a warm laugh, her laughs were contagious causing Ash to laugh with her.

The song soon ended and the both of them knew they needed to get back to the palace, Celestia would need her sleep if she wanted to raise the sun in the morning. First Ash went and walked through the castle halls giving the occasional ‘good night’ to a confused bat pony. When he came upon Cosmo Wave he walked up and gave her a hug good night. She returned the gesture and went back to her post after a stern glare from the bat pony next to her.

Ash walked faster, knowing he had guard duty again in the morning, he needed his rest as well. And boy did he have an eventful day.
