Rainbow's Secret

Chapter 1:

THE DREAM

Rainbow Dash woke up one morning after a strange dream. She couldn't explain what it was or why she had it, but here it is anyway:

Rainbow Dash was walking through town when she saw Fluttershy carrying something that seemed very heavy, and being the Element of Loyalty, she had to go help her. Rainbow flew over and asked Fluttershy "Hey, Fluttershy, need any help?" Fluttershy turned and said "Oh, hi Rainbow! Umm... yeah, I think this might be too heavy for me. Thanks!" Rainbow glided over and took the box from Fluttershy. "What's in this thing? Bricks?" Rainbow asked Fluttershy. "Actually, it is bricks! How'd you know?" "Lucky guess." Rainbow said. "So, what do you need with bricks? Are you building a wall around your cottage?" "No, I'm not building a wall. I'm building a house!" Fluttershy replied. "Oh yeah, 'cause you OBVIOUSLY don't already have a house." Rainbow replied in a sarcastic tone.

When they arrived at Fluttershy's cottage, she explained why she needed the bricks. Apparently, she was building a house for some kind of animal. But Rainbow just zoned out anyways. "Yeah, I'm building it for a friend of Angels, his friend is homeless, so twilight is helping me build it!" Fluttershy said, with Rainbow still zoned out.

"Yep, that's interesting." she said with a hint of sarcasm "I can't wait for it." "Rainbow, are you paying attention?" Fluttershy asked.

"What?" Rainbow responded. They both stopped. Rainbow turned to look at Fluttershy, and so did she. But neither realised how close they were walking together. There lips accidentally met, and both pegusi quickly turned away and blushed. "Umm... uh." Fluttershy muttered. "Yeah, so I think I'm just gonna, ya know, drop these off here and..." Rainbow stopped talking and just flew away, leaving the heavy box of bricks and her secret crush behind.

When she arrived at her house, she ran into the bathroom and stared into the mirror at herself. "What... just... happened?" She asked her reflection. She thought about the scenario in er head and the realised something. She actually LIKED having her lips touch Fluttershys, accidentally or not. She then went to her bed and (even though she was already sleeping) got into bed and closed her eyes.

That's when she woke up in real life. She took a quick shower and went into town, secretly avoiding Fluttershy, even though it was just a dream. Her new-found love/crush on Fluttershy made her crazy nervous around her, especially alone with her. She tried hard to avoid her, but somehow she always ran into her, even when flying. If she had too guess, she thought that somehow, they had the same dream, but Fluttershy was more open with her emotions.

This carried on for about a week before they talked about it. They were in a cafe in Sugar Cube Corner. In this very cafe, is where the following discussion happened.

"Why does it seem like your starting to avoid me?" Fluttershy asked Rainbow, in the middle of the cafe.

"Why does it seem like YOUR trying to purposely run into me?" Rainbow Dash replied, sounding a bit annoyed.

"Well, I had this dream..."

Rainbow Dashes eyes widened as she heard Fluttershy say that one sentence. "Maybe we DID have the same dream about each other! Or maybe she just always liked me. Or maybe she just found out she liked me." The possible solutions ran through her head while she sat in that cafe with her secret crush.
