Fortunately for Yvette, Twisted dived in and offered to help without being asked. It was a bit embarrassing to have someone she’d known for less than a day handle her dirty linens and discarded undergarments - then again, they had become intimately familiar with one another at a record pace. It was only after the remains of the bed had been set aside and the mattress had been made in its place, a load of laundry started, and the floor given a brisk mop that they turned their efforts elsewhere.
Unfortunately for the both of them, finding garments which fit and were suitable for going out was no easy task and took a bit of creative problem solving. Yvette was barely able to squeeze into her largest outfit, a billowy t-shirt and pair of seemingly-indestructible yoga pants, while Primrose quite literally threw an outfit together for herself. Borrowing a bed sheet and a single window curtain from her host, she fashioned herself a sarong and makeshift tube top - an inventive and frankly ingenious solution that would, if nothing else, allow her to go out and about without attracting too much attention.
With all the necessities dealt with, and the sun having dipped below the horizon, Primrose ordered them pizza while Yvette prepared them some fruit smoothies, using some ingredients she happened to have laying around - it was the least she could do, considering her guest had bought them dinner and been fine company to keep, and it was also an excuse for her to try some Equestrian food that she considered to be exotic. It was oddly refreshing having a guest around, so she was in no rush to shoo the girl away. With all the important deeds done, and two piping hot pies delivered, the duo finally sat down and rested their hooves.
“It’s hard to believe you’re from the Griffish Isles,” Yvette remarked, having swallowed down a mouthful of her mushroom pizza. “You only have the barest hint of an accent.”
“And I can hardly believe you’ve lived so close to me without me seeing you before!” Primrose exclaimed, waving a slice of her pineapple and ham at her host. “Listen, I know you said you’ve only lived here for a few months, and that you’re not the going out type, but you should really reconsider! We’re in Baltimare, for buck’s sake - nobody is going to care if you’re a little bigger than average!”
“I guess,” the drone hummed, lowering her gaze, “but it’s easier said than done. Do you have any idea how many folks are into tall women?” Glancing up at the pony’s face, seeing the girl’s grin, she pinched the bridge of her snout. “Scratch that…”
“Listen, I can totally see how it would be a pain in the butt - especially with your ginormous buggy butt, but what if I told you I had a plan,” Primrose mused, shuffling closer. “All we gotta do is go on a date .”
At the mention of the word date , Yvette aspirated a mouthful of her smoothie and broke into a coughing fit. “Date?!” she rasped between hacks, tearfully looking her guest in the face.
“Not necessarily a date date! Look, if people think we’re an item, they’ll be less inclined to pay you any mind - at least, not in a lustful way! And if we go out together, I could run interference and help with any problems that pop up!” the pegasus explained, wrapping an arm around the weakly choking changeling.
“I…I don’t know,” the drone murmured, peering down past the vast amount of her guest’s captivating cleavage to the floor.
It was definitely an enticing offer, and the pony’s logic was solid, but it would still be a big step for her. Her last foray to the beach had ended disastrously, even if she enjoyed it deep down; it had inadvertently introduced her to the chipper young pegasus, and she was still a bit anxious about making a second attempt. Feeling her guest withdraw, she looked to the side.
“What if I made it interesting,” Primrose began. “Next Monday morning, we’ll go to the beach - the same spot on the beach we first saw each other at. If everything goes smoothly, you’ll owe me dinner - if everything goes tits up, metaphorically speaking, I’ll owe you dinner. What do you say?”
Seeing a hand thrust in her direction, Yvette did something that even surprised herself - she shook the mare’s hand. Mondays typically weren’t typically a busy day on the shore, though she’d have to take time off work to meet the mare again, and the warranty on her swimsuit meant she could get another one easily enough, but there was another, far far stronger motivator at play - she wanted to see more of the girl. Though the date wasn’t necessarily a romantic endeavor, the prospect of making an honest to goodness friend pushed her to push herself.
With hope in her heart and a smile on her lips, standing in defiance of the anxiety which constantly hounded her, she nodded. “It’s a date…”
Standing in her foyer, with her hand upon the knob of her front door, Yvette screwed her eyes closed, drew a deep breath, and held it. It’d been nearly a week since the impromptu tryst involving Mei and Primrose, yet the past wasn’t what worried her - no, the only thing that concerned her was her impending date . As she reminded herself that the date wasn’t really a date, for the umpteenth time that morning, she attempted to clear her head.
After exchanging numbers with the cheerful unicorn, ensuring the girl that she would make good on her promise to meet by the seaside, she’d flopped into bed and slept like a brick; sadly for her, that was the last restful day she’d had in the past week. The following morning, she’d contacted the manufacturer of her swimsuit, explained that the article had suffered a rather catastrophic malfunction, and had promptly gotten a replacement priority mailed to her home. She’d originally hoped that getting a new set of swimwear would ease her nerves, since it was the largest part of her plan to go out, but she’d been very mistaken.
Though she still wasn’t quite as petite as she’d been that fateful day, she’d done her best to slim down in order to fit into her outerwear; her curves were still much more generous than that of most mares in the area, doubly so given her tall and otherwise-lithe stature. Each breast was about twice the size of her head, and her rear was a comparable size to her bust - balancing her figure in a deliciously curvaceous way. The majority of her gut had disappeared as well, though her belly bands were still very soft to the touch. She was scarcely more confident than she was the first time, given that she had more of a game plan with the delightful mare she was meeting up with, and as such didn’t feel the need to cover herself up with her sundress on her way out.
With the memory of her trials and tribulations of her last foray to the sandy shore fresh on her mind, she’d gotten steadily more stressed as the days went on - sure, Primrose promised to help avert another crisis, acting as her aid for the impending day out, yet that did little to salve her nerves. She had no real reason to worry so much, especially because she’d have a friend along with her, yet her fears weren’t that easily assuaged.
Glancing over at clock by her coat rack and, realizing just how long she’d been dallying, she screwed her eyes shut, threw open the door, and stepped outside. Delaying the inevitable was a fruitless venture, particularly because she didn’t just have herself to worry about. With only a ten minutes’ walk to reach the changing huts beside the beach, where Primrose was more than likely waiting already, she marched outside and into the brilliant morning sun.
Mercifully for her, between the early hour and the day, traffic was particularly light, allowing her to make the short walk without incident. Adorned in her replacement swimsuit, one that many would still consider to be microscopic on her at the best of times, and carrying a rather large basket along with herself, she was prepared for any possible hiccup - at least, she hoped she was ready for any possible hiccup. Not only had she packed snacks and sun tan lotion, but she’d brought a change of extra clothes, a spare beach towel, and a book to busy herself with.
As she trotted along, moving at a brisk pace, she only lifted her head to cross the odd street or avoid obstacles. Being out under ordinary circumstances could be a bit of a trial, but parading herself wearing something so revealing was less than comfortable. Passing an all too familiar bus stop, knowing exactly where she was, she hung a left and moved towards a set of dunes.
“Yvette!” a voice shouted, causing her to start. Her elytra cracked open at the sound of her name being called, as she unconsciously prepared to fly off at the first sign of trouble.
The moment she lifted her gaze, her heart stopped in her chest. Bounding towards her, excitedly waving an arm, was none other than Primrose. The flow of time seemed to slow, her eyes widened, and her mouth began to water, watching the young, comparatively stout woman approach. Seeing her again was a delight, yet seeing her in a rather revealing two-piece was downright sinful .
The mare was just as large as she remembered, with the enchantment’s side effects still permanently affecting her; simply put, the once above-average pony had become a downright bombshell . Staring in open awe, nearly dropping her belongings, she wasn’t sure where to look! The pony’s bouncing, wobbling rack, her softly swaying rump, and her jiggly thighs all held their own appeal, but the unicorn’s face - stars above, her face was downright enchanting . As if in a trance, unable to move, Yvette was left wholly unprepared for the impending assault.
Arms outstretched, leaping dead at her and nearly knocking her over, Primrose snared the drone in a hug. “I was hoping you didn’t forget!”
“Y…yeah ,” Yvette stammered, her higher functions coming back online.
The sensation of soft, yielding flesh against her set a thrilled shiver up her spine as her elytra threatened to fling themselves wide open, reminding her to be on her best behavior. Willing predatory instincts to behave, lest she wind up bursting the seams of her swimwear, the changeling reached down to return the embrace and reluctantly wriggled free. While she was genuinely pleased to see her companion, she was a bit surprised that the girl had selected something so revealing for the foray.
“You like it?” Primrose asked, casually pulling at her overstuffed top.
Paradoxically, though she was practically drooling, Yvette’s mouth went dry. Intended or not, the mare had flashed a nipple. The sight was enough to rouse her libido and make her feel a bit awkward, in spite of having seen everything the girl had to offer - though, on the bright side, it did help her forget about her anxiety about being seen.
Clearing her throat, she forced herself to look down at the pony’s face. “So how’ve things been with - uh …” she trailed off, vaguely gesturing to her companion’s body, unsure of how to address her life since becoming markedly larger.
“Nothing’s really changed, aside from getting more looks from folks and having to walk sideways through some doors,” the mare nonchalantly replied, giving a noncommittal shrug. “Oh yeah, and having to buy a new wardrobe.”
“Sorry about the wardrobe bit,” Yvette sighed, turning and slowly leading the way to the shore.
“Eh - it’s fine. For what it’s worth, the cost of some new clothes was a small price to pay for having this extravagant look,” Primrose explained, matching in step with the drone. “How about yourself?”
“I haven’t been up to anything interesting, I’m afraid,” the changeling responded. “Believe it or not, I’m relatively boring by most standards - excluding moments like those at my townhouse, of course. The only notable thing that’s happened is that I’ve had to workout a lot more to shed some of my extra weight.”
Her week had, for all intents and purposes, been like many before it. She worked, tended to her home, took care of herself, and frittered away what little free time she had reading or doing arcane research. Though she’d been tempted to reach out to either Mei or Primrose for another potential night of fun, she didn’t want to come off as clingy or desperate for attention.
Cresting the dune, breathing in the sea breeze, the unicorn slowed. “I think most of us consider ourselves boring, even if it’s not true. What might be mundane for you could be fascinating for others, and visa versa - at least, that’s how I look at it.”
Lifting a finger to make a rebuttal, Yvette pursed her lips. For someone so bubbly and outgoing, her friend’s assertion was remarkably poignant and insightful, leaving her without a leg to stand on. As she scanned the beach, hoping to find a pleasant spot to bask in the sun, her eyes settled on a particularly choice little hillock. They could carry on their conversation after they’d made themselves comfortable, since they practically had seaside to themselves.
Without saying another word, content to savor the fresh air and warm rays, the two strolled through the sand and to their destination. Getting set up was easy enough, with Yvette placing the beach towels while Primrose planted and opened an umbrella for them. With everything in its place, and the soft sound of rolling waves filling the air, they eased themselves down.
Having sat the basket beside herself, Yvette rifled through her belongings, retrieved the suntan lotion, and deposited a sizable dollop in the palm of her hand. She’d brought enough of the stuff to share with her friend, being unsure if the mare was going to bring any, and so she passed the bottle over to the unicorn. As she began rubbing the creamy substance into her shoulders, she noticed the pony shift.
“I’ll get your back, lay down,” Primrose hummed, eyeing the changeling’s magnanimous form. Heeding the mare’s request, the drone complied and lay on her stomach. Shifting her bulbous bust forward, she crossed her arms over her breasts, and attempted to use her pillows as intended.
Without waiting for further response, the mare straddled herself atop Yvette’s rump, and began rubbing and caressing the lotion on her back. Though Yvette started, surprised by the sudden cold touch of the lotion, her tension bled away in a heartbeat; she simply closed her eyes, slowly exhaled, and savored the soft touch of her companion. There was nothing overtly sexual about the experience, being more comforting than anything, and she had every intention of returning the favor.
Finishing up with the drone’s near-iridescent elytra, Primrose shifted herself backwards onto Yvette’s legs, and started caressing the superbly supple bug booty before her. Yvette stirred slightly, but paid no mind; she was lost in the sensation of having another mare massage her back.
Like clockwork, her body began to change, as she unconsciously absorbed the feelings that Primrose had for her - her bikini bottoms began to ride up further and further between her pillowy cheeks, and her top began to dig in just that little bit more. “Hey,” the pony breathed, gingerly massaging and tenderly squeezing the drone, “you mind if I ask you something?”
Yvette shook her head, keeping her eyes glued shut. “Be my guest.” The moment that Primrose spoke, Yvette’s growth surged, before slowing right down again.
“So - Um -” Primrose faltered, surprised by the sudden expansion, her hands pulling away. “Do you always do that?”
“Do what?” Yvette replied, befuddled at her friend’s ambiguous question.
“Grow .” Primrose near-whispered, noticing that she’d been sitting higher than she was moments ago; Yvette’s butt and thighs had managed to gain at least ten inches, propping up the super-wide mare resting on top. Her chest had been affected as well, though Primrose hadn’t noticed quite yet; she was far too focused on the changeling’s other masterpiece.
“I - Well, yeah , I suppose. Like I said earlier, I’ve got an eating disorder. I can’t not feed on the affection of others.” the drone duly replied, keeping her eyes closed, bemused at the unicorn’s ill-at-ease approach to the subject.
“Nice…” Primrose whispered under her breath, grabbing herself another dollop of lotion, and reaching back down to continue massaging it onto the changeling.
“What was that?” Yvette replied, further relaxing herself as the mare kept rubbing in the lotion.
“I - uh - Nothing! Nothing.” the unicorn awkwardly squawked, as she stopped rubbing lotion onto Yvette.
The reaction was so odd and out of character that the changeling peeked over her shoulder. Strangely enough, the pony was staring down at the sand and blushing slightly, as if she’d been about to say or do something out of turn. Piquing a brow, she cleared her throat to draw the girl’s attention.
Exasperatedly exhaling and shaking her head, almost as if she was trying to summon her courage for some herculean feat, the mare waveringly smiled and locked eyes with the changeling. “Anyways - are you doing anything later?”
“I hadn’t planned on anything,” Yvette murmured, “why?”
Trying her best to remain composed, she couldn’t help but get her hopes up. She’d been simultaneously looking forward to and dreading the day trip with her companion since it had been announced, but all that had changed in an instant. Simply seeing the unicorn, hearing her chipper tone, and receiving a hug had been enough to dispel her apprehension, leaving a comforting happiness within her.
Primrose rolled her eyes, her cheeks darkening all the more, before she spoke. “Don’t make me say it!”
The statement caught Yvette off guard, but only for a moment, before she put the pieces together. “Do you want to go out for something to eat later?”
The question had been a genuine postulation on what her companion wanted, though in asking it she’d set herself up spectacularly. She wasn’t sure if she’d been duped into proposing a more traditional sort of date, regardless of whether or not there were romantic connotations, and she immediately suffered the giddy consequences. Twisting beneath the mare straddling her lower rump, she ponderously wriggled around, flipped onto her back, shot forward, and embraced her companion. The hug had been far harder to pull off than she’d initially assumed, and she nearly engulfed Primrose’s arm between her pair of oversized and pillowy-soft bosoms
“I take that as a yes?” Yvette remarked, genuinely unsure of the unicorn’s lack of response.
“Of course it’s a yes!” Primrose bleated, beaming over at her. “There’s this great little sushi place I know about, on the other side of town, that I just know you’ll love.”
“But I don’t have a car,” the drone muttered, lamenting the fact that she was fortunate enough that she didn’t need one to get around where she needed to go.
“Pffft - as if I wasn’t going to offer to drive you and pay for your meal!” the mare snickered, withdrawing slightly.
Fully aware of the hand resting atop her own, Yvette fidgeted slightly. She couldn’t remember the last time she’d gone out to eat, let alone with someone else, and the prospect felt odd - not a bad sort of odd, but unfamiliar. Weakly smirking, turning her head and gazing out across the water, she briefly considered her next words.
“I…I really don’t know what to say,” she finally admitted.
“You don’t have to say anything! Going out with each other and having fun is what friends do -” Primrose chirped, lacing her fingers with the changeling’s digits, “besides, it’s been almost a week since I saw you, and I want to hear more about changeling magic, especially yours.”
“What part?” Yvette inquired, her ears and dorsal fin perking up.
“Like, ok, this is probably gonna sound like a dumb question, but is it really that different than unicorn magic?” the pony clarified.
“In regards to what it can do, no, but how our sorcery works is a different matter entirely. You see…” Yvette merrily started explaining what she could, subconsciously inching closer to her companion.
Though she was keenly aware that they may not become lovers, or even if the pony had any interest in romantic affairs, she took solace in the simple joy of having someone to talk to - someone to be with, and someone to potentially be in . It had been so long since she’d known any sort of genuine companionship with anyone, let alone somebody who was remarkably chipper, that she hadn’t fully realized what she’d been missing out on. As she prattled on about the finer nuances of the arcane, with the pony leaning over and resting her head on her shoulder, an unfamiliar yet pleasing sensation settled over her - she felt full …
