The screen shifts to a nebula-like section in space with some words in bold, white letters. Aiger narrates the words on the screen.

"Sunset's Threat and Research at the Library!"

Canterlot High School, Canterlot City, Human Equestria

Picking up where we last left off, Twilight, Spike (who is still in Twilight's bag), and the Bladers walked down the hallways of the school with students chatting away after meeting Pinkie Pie and Applejack in the school's gym and the Bladers finding out that the girls they just met are the human counterparts of Twilight's friends who are the bearers of the Elements of Harmony. They took a left turn and found themselves in a dimly-lit dead-end hallway as Spike popped his head out of Twilight's bag.

"This hallway's giving me the creeps," Aiger was the first to comment, shuddering as he saw an open locker door creak as it opened a bit more.

"Tell me about it," Spike agreed.

There was a brief silence before a familiar and not-so-friendly voice chimed in.

"Can't believe I didn't recognize you earlier."

The group looked back to see Sunset leaning on a locker door with a rather nasty smirk on her face, and the Bladers weren't too happy to see her.

'Oh great, it's Sunset,' Aiger thought and groaned inwardly.

"Shoulda known Princess Celestia would send her prized pupil here after my crown, and her little dog, too."

"It's my crown!" Twilight retorted, but Sunset just waved it off.

"Whatever. This is just a minor setback for me. You don't know the first thing about this place, and I already rule it."

"If that's so, why do you even need my crown? You went to an awful lot of trouble to switch it with the one that belongs here," Twilight countered.

"Pop quiz: what happens when you bring an Element of Harmony into an alternate world?" Sunset asked.

"I think I know what would happen," Aiger answered, getting Sunset's attention. "The Elements of Harmony are powerful magic artifacts, right?" He asked, earning a nod from her. "If it falls into the wrong hands (namely you)," This earned a glower from her, but he continued. "And no one knows how to stop it, then everyone there is probably doomed."

Sunset was honestly a bit stunned, but she snapped out of it and turned to Twilight. "Seriously? You let a kid answer for you?" The bacon-haired girl laughed mockingly as Aiger crossed his arms with a disapproving look on his face, a bit offended at her comment. He created his first Bey, Z Achilles, all by himself! ...Well, almost. His little sister, Naru, took the photos needed to finalize its design. "And you're supposed to be Princess Celestia's star student? Then again, what were the chances she'd find somepony as bright as me to take under her wing after I decided to leave Equestria? Bit embarrassing that you were the best she could do." Spike then bark-growled, as if protesting against Sunset's insult. "Oh, and I'd keep an eye on your mutt. Hate for him to be... taken away from you."

"Is that a threat?" Spike asked as he curled his paw into a fist.

"Oh, of course not," Sunset replied in mock denial before Spike barks then growls at her. She puts a finger on Spike's mouth as she said, "But I'd cut down on the chatter if I were you. Don't want everyone to know you two don't belong here, now would you? You wanna be a princess here? Please," she then started to walk away. "You don't know the first thing about fitting in."

After ensuring Sunset was out of sight and out of earshot and as Valt, Shu and Spike comforted Twilight, Aiger muttered what the group was thinking: "That girl is getting on my nerves."

After walking for a while, Twilight felt hungry, so she and the Bladers decided to find something for her to eat. Fortunately, they found a vending machine at the end of a hallway with a left and right turn and approached it. The vending machine was green with swirls of a lighter green, purple, and pink. The buttons ranged from A1 to F5. Twilight looked for something to eat, when two items caught her eye (which didn't go unnoticed by the Bladers since they weren't doing anything): a plastic container with crackers and a peanut butter dip, and a steelish blue carton with a strawberry and an orange slice over a white upside-down trapezoid on the front. Twilight smiled at the prospect of having some food in her stomach, but that faded when she realized that she didn't know how to get them. The Bladers then saw the weirdest attempts in getting a snack from a vending machine: trying to rip it open, trying to push it open, and the weirdest of all, trying to literally kick it open in a quadruped stance. Before she could make any headway in her third attempt, Shu grabbed her arm and pulled her back to her feet.

"Why did you stop me? I was about to kick those snacks down," Twilight asked, confused on why the white-haired Blader stopped her.

"First off, kicking a vending machine might break it. Second off, you have to pay money for it to give you the items you want," Shu answered before reaching inside his trench coat. He then brings out a coin purse that matches his coat. "Here, allow me to demonstrate," He reached into his coin purse and pulled out two U.S. quarters as Twilight watched in curiosity. He then inserted a quarter into the coin slot. He looked at the code for the crackers with peanut butter dip which is C2 (No, it's not the drink brand C2). He pressed the button with the same code and the crackers moved forward and dropped from its slot. He repeated this with the other quarter in his hand, albeit using it for the carton next to the crackers whose code was C3. He opened the door below the display, fished out the items the machine dispensed, and handed them to Twilight. "Here you go."

"Thank you," Twilight said as she accepted the snacks and started eating them. Shu just nodded in response. Twilight's expression then morphed into a worried one as Spike popped out of her bag once more. "Sunset Shimmer is right," Her worried expression then became a downcast one. "I don't know the first thing about this place," She then walked down the left side of the split hallway, the Bladers following suit. "If I'm gonna really fit in and win votes, we need to do some research."

"Research?" Spike asked, confused at Twilight's statement.

"This place has a school. I have to believe it's got a..." Twilight stopped at an open pair of double doors which reveals a... "...library!" She, Spike, and the Bladers then entered the library.

The Bladers were absolutely awestruck at the size of Canterlot High's library as its size makes Beigoma Academy's library insignificant by comparison! The library seems to span at least two stories. The roof here is a glass ceiling, allowing for natural lighting. Shelves are arranged in circles along the library's walls, and in the center of the first floor is a computer area for student use.

After getting over their awe of the library's size, Aiger spoke up, stumped about what they're going to do next. "So... now what?"

Shu opened his mouth to answer, but Valt beat him to it. "We split off in pairs." This got the group's attention as Valt turned to Shu and Twilight. "Shu, Twilight, you two go for the books."

"No problem."

"Got it."

He then turned his attention to Aiger. "Aiger, you and I are gonna have to use the computers over there." He pointed at the computers at the center of the room.

"Sure thing."

"We've have until closing time to get as much information as we can, so let's make every second count, okay?" Everyone nodded, then split off to do their thing.

What followed next was a montage of different things that the pairs did in the library: Valt and Aiger meeting the librarian, Ms. Cheerilee,

and three girls by the name of Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetie Belle,

Shu and Twilight carrying a differently sized stack of books each (Twilight's stack being almost double the amount of Shu's stack), Twilight falling over due to the excessive weight of the books (this earned her a cringe face from Shu and a shush from Cheerilee) leading her to pick up the books she dropped with her mouth (until Spike pointed it out), then her hands (and Shu lightening her load), and Twilight trying (and failing) to use a photocopier properly, launching her towards an organized pile of books, leaving Shu to close the lid afterwards (she hit the photocopy button without closing the lid).

End of BGM and Montage

In the blink of an eye, nighttime had struck in the library. While Valt and Aiger were snoozing off, a drowsy Twilight and Shu yawned as they closed their current book. It may as well been their last book for the night as a feminine voice from the PA system sounded:

"The library will be closing in five minutes."

Twilight gasped as she remarked, "I hadn't even thought about where we're gonna sleep tonight!"

"Yeah. Researching CAN get tiring after long periods of time," Shu responded as he rubbed his left eye. This woke up the snoozing Bladers.

"So, does that mean we're gonna have to sleep here at the library tonight?" Aiger asked, half-asleep.

"Yeah, looks like it," Valt replied, just as drowsy as Aiger.

Spike, who was reading a book under the table, however, seems to have a solution as he walked out of the table and up the stairs leading to the second floor. "Don't worry, I've got us covered." Curious, Twilight and the Bladers followed the dragon-turned-canine as he led them to a piece of tarp covering something.

"It's a little [cough, cough] dusty, but it doesn't seem like anybody comes up here," Spike stated as he removed the tarp, revealing multiple stacks of books arranged to make a bed.

The quartet sat down on the book bed as Twilight considered what Spike did, eventually smiling at him. "It's perfect, Spike," the teenager commended her assistant before the Bladers could make a comment.

After a cute little moment, Spike asked the important question. "So, how did your research go?"

"I found this book," Twilight responded, holding out a blue book with a yellow horseshoe tilted to make the letter C, obviously standing for Canterlot. "It's called a yearbook. It seems to be something they use to keep a record of things that have happened at the school. Look," she said as she flipped through the pages, eventually stopping at a page that caught her and the males' attention. The page had a photo of a younger Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and two girls the Bladers hadn't seen before.

Twilight pointed out each girl in the picture. "That's Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Fluttershy, and I'm gonna bet the girl on the far right is Rarity."

Aiger eyed the rainbow-haired girl and the purple, curly-haired girl, the former giving him an athletic vibe and the latter giving him a fashionista vibe. "So the girl with the rainbow hair is Rainbow Dash and the girl with purple, curled hair is Rarity, right?" he inquired. Twilight nodded as it was true. "I see."

Out of the blue, Spike swiped the book from Twilight's hands. "There's a Rarity here?!" He exclaimed excitedly. The canine noticed his excitement at the mention of the word "Rarity" and gave the book back to Twilight, a sly look on her face, a confused look on Aiger's, and a "Wait, don't tell me..." look from Valt and Shu, who seemed to know what's going on with Spike's burst of excitement. "Uh, I mean, uh... interesting photo."

"It's interesting because they look like they're friends," Twilight noted.

"They do look like our friends, but I thought we'd figured that out already," Spike remarked.

The Bladers sweatdropped. 'I don't think that's what she meant, Spike,' Aiger thought.

Twilight noticed this and decided to clarify. "No, I mean... they look like they're friends with each other, but it doesn't seem like they're friends now."

"Not so much," Spike agreed.

"That's a big 'No' from me," Aiger agreed as well.

"I just can't help but get the feeling that Sunset Shimmer had something to do with it," Twilight commented as she lied down on the book bed, the Bladers following suit.

"I wouldn't put it past her," Spike said, pulling the tarp over himself and his human companions as a makeshift blanket. "But she wanted your crown 'cause she's planning on doing something even worse! If you're gonna stop her, you have to focus on making friends here. Can't worry about why these girls aren't friends anymore. Even if they [yawn] do remind you of your Ponyville friends."

'Hmm... this Ponyville place seems to be important to them. Maybe that's where they live in Equestria right now, or something,' Aiger noticed.

"You're right, Spike. [sigh] Eye on the prize," Twilight agreed.

"Yeah, can't forget about why you two are here," Aiger added, the group nodding. "Welp, we've got a long day ahead of us tomorrow, so it's about time we rest. [yawn] Goodnight, you guys."

"Yeah, goodnight."

"You too, Aiger."

"Sleep tight, everybody."

"Don't let the bed bugs bite."

And with that, the group began their slumber under the moon... except for Aiger. He's still wide awake and looking at the moon in the beautiful night sky. He took out his Bey and reflected on what took place in these past hours: arriving in Canterlot City with Valt and Shu, meeting Twilight, Spike, and the human counterparts of their friends in Equestria (and finding out that those same friends aren't friends anymore), repeating encounters with Sunset and having to put up with her attitude, meeting Principal Celestia and signing Twilight up for the upcoming Fall Formal, and doing some research to help Twilight blend in more. Looking back at these events, Aiger knew what his friends had to do.

"Getting back home can wait. What matters right now is helping Twilight get her crown back," Aiger said to no one in particular, then proceeds to put his Bey back into one of his jacket's pockets and go back to sleep. What he didn't notice however, is that Twilight saw the entire thing. She wondered what the round object Aiger was holding in his hand (most likely a prized possession), but she set her curiosity aside at the moment for two reasons: a. She wanted to ask him the object is, but it was late at night and she should really get some rest, and b. She trusts him enough that she knows he'll tell her what the object is at some point in the future. With her curiosity set aside, she went back to sleep.

At last, Chapter 4 is finished! I'm so sorry for the long wait between chapters, I lost my motivation for a bit and I had a number of schoolwork and homework to go through (school time's arrived here in the Philippines), but with some people spamming comments in my story for me to make a new chapter (I'm looking at you, cjuoni0903), I decided to come back and continue this story!
