Chapter 12 : Law and Order

"Being Gay is illegal but being Lesbian is okay !!!?? What the F*#@." I threw the law book on the floor. This kingdom got issues. Capital punishment, slavery, gender discriminating laws, the list just goes on and on. Being male is a sin here. Sheesh. I picked up the book. There has to be reason for the anti-gay law, right ? You can't be progressive half-way. I scoured the entire book. Nothing. I put the book back in the shelf. Ah ! Got you ! I took the book from the shelf. I gazed at the shiny title. "Controversial Laws Explained."

I read the book for about an hour, specifically the anti- gay law. It would appear that that the Via Lactea Kingdom suffers an extreme shortage of stallions. For every ten mares there is one stallion. Whenever the stallion population increased say about 6 to 1 the anti-gay law would be abolished but would be reinstated again if the stallion population decreased. Stallions are bounded to find a mare to mare to marry by the age of 18 or else would be forced either way or turned into a slave to be sold to a mare. I shivered in seat. It is illegal for mares to be slaves but can be maids with a wage while slaves who were all stallions are, listen to this, are objects that can be treated according to the slave owner own moral principle.

I forcefully shoved the book into the bookshelf. I was shaking. Seriously, I never took my new life seriously. I was not in a girls cartoon program. It's real. I am living in reality.

I gulped realising why Discord was worried. I am enslaved. That means....
