Rarity's Fantasy Romance

Rarity felt her pulse racing as she used her unicorn magic to flip another page in her favorite romance book. Heat flooded her face, and her eyes held a dreamy look in them. She hadn't heard her front door open nor the sound of Spike walking into the Boutique. His footsteps were louder thanks to his older slightly larger form.

She's been reading more lately. Spike thought.

Rarity was lost in her own imagination. She was the heroine as she always liked to be and she had her own hero in mind. It was Rarity's favorite part in the book. She kept it bookmarked. She could picture a claw running down her neck, tracing little circles here and there. Her hero's other claw was working her back and when he reached her flank, he would trace around the three diamonds. One of her sensitive areas.

The claw on her neck soon found its way to the other side of her flank mirroring the other.

Rarity shudder on the couch at the thought of what was coming.

Her hero leaned over her body and took her breath away with a long kiss full of love and passion. "My lady, how long must we wait?"

"No more waiting my darling-"

The book in Rarity's magic flew across the room and Rarity lets out a scream followed by a series of words that had Spike's jaw on the floor. All Spike had done was tap her on the shoulder breaking her train of thoughts.

She turned and found herself eye to eye with Spike. "Oh, Spike, darling please forgive me. You nearly scared the life out of me." She said setting up and letting her legs hang over the couch. Her back resisted on the back of the couch.

Spike lifted an eyebrow. "That's not all I scared out of you."

"I am truly sorry." Rarity said and she could feel the burning heat of her face, she noticed a grin on his face.

"I could use this." He said tapping a claw to his chin.

"Spike, you…you wouldn't dare, would you darling?"

Spike rubbed his chin and didn't respond right away. Instead, he glanced across the room where the book had landed.

"Spikey..."

He giggled a bit at how she said his nickname she still used on him.

Rarity followed his eyes as his gaze had moved to the book on the floor.

"Humm..." He said when his emerald gaze met hers. "That book. I bet it's bookmarked in a particular spot."

Rarity was beside herself and she knew she was trapped. If I try and stop him… Why did I lose myself inside my own head again? A thought struck her that had her heart racing. This could work…

Spike lunged for the book and grabbed it. He didn't feel any magic around him or the book.

Rarity felt her body tense up as she fought to hold back her magic. Don't try to stop him.

Spike took a sideways glance at her before he turned around and walked up next to the couch. He was standing right in front of her and noticed the tension in her muscles. I gotcha. In his head, he was grinning. "Had you've taken any actions..." His voice trailed off when he noticed that she was watching the book and not him as he dangled the book in front of her "Now I could just read what you were before I walked in."

Rarity's gaze lifted to his and noticed a difference in his eyes. The green depths had become even darker almost primal. Her lips quivered when she said one word. "Or..." He now looks just like- Rarity found herself biting on her lower lip. This would be such a good chance…when will I get another? The question echoed around in her head.

Spike noticed she was biting her lip. and placed the book right beside her flank. I wonder… He thought and let his index claw barely touched her soft fur right between the three diamonds.

Rarity let out a gasp that she was sure that Spike heard. So it is actually true… Glancing down she noticed that his claws were clenched tightly together. Why? Her jaw dropped open at what he said next.

"Is that all it'll ever be? Just a fantasy?"

Spike dropped to his knees and put his head on her lap.

"Darling, whatever do you mean? Is that all it’ll ever be?" Concern flooded her voice. Does this mean that he fantasizes about me as well?

Spike lifted his head and could see the concern in her eyes. "I don't need to read the part you have marked in that book."

"Come again, darling."

"I've lost count of the number of times I have read it.” He swallowed before going on. “Picturing you as the beautiful, alluring heroine." He took in a breath and let it out before going on. "I was hoping to catch you fantasizing again."

Rarity sat there momentarily speechless taking in what Spikey had just revealed. "You...wanted to catch me?" Okay, this is getting interesting.

Spike nodded and then swallowed a lump that had formed in his throat. Her sapphire eyes looked like dark pools of water with her eyes half-closed. "Ra...Rarity..." He watched her pat the couch next to her.

"Sit beside me Spikey." This could be my chance. Rarity thought and felt her heart skip a beat.

Spike felt unable to resist her. It was like he was stepping into a fantasy as he was now sitting beside Rarity on the couch.

Rarity could feel her own heart pounding in her chest. She felt Spike's index claw touch the area between her diamonds again. "That...spot..."

Spike glanced down at where his claw was. It's the same as in my fantasy... He started to circle his claw and watched her body tense up. "The same..."

"Yours too..." Rarity let out in a moan, she lifted her hoof and found his ear frill. She felt him shudder when she ran the tip of her hoof along the edge and down to his cheek. "Same, darling?" She asked returning her hoof down to her side.

"Uh-huh." Spike managed to say while melting into the sensation like in his fantasy. My resistance is now zero… Yet, he knew this wasn’t some daydream.

Rarity leaned over his lap letting her head rest on the other cushion on the couch and repositioned herself, so she was laying on her back. She used her unicorn magic to move his other claw to the other side of her flank. How far am I…are we willing to go…if this keeps up?

Spike had both of his claws moving at the same time, he could feel her body shaking from the feeling he was causing. Who would have thought that spot was so sensitive. It’s like it is in the book… His heart was pounding at what was next. Glancing down he could see a look of longing in her eyes. Will she object? No, she used her magic on my claw.

Rarity could see the hesitation in his eyes. “Spikey…” Rarity reached her hooves up and held his cheeks with them. This is it. Rarity told herself and yet it had been her fantasy hero, not the real Spike. Yet it had always been Spike in her fantasies.

Spike didn’t wait another second before leaning down and claiming her lips with his own drawing her into a long-awaited kiss that was definitely grounded in reality. He had imagined what the soft fur around her lips would feel like and it was far softer than he could have thought.

Rarity sighed into the kiss and brought her hooves up around the back of his neck pulling him closer as she started to kiss him back. Now this is reality and the best kind. She could feel the longing and desire in the kiss and the heat from his lips on her fur. I couldn’t have imagined it would feel this good.

Spike broke the kiss when the need for air became too much. "You…are…truly beyond any fantasy," Spike said while trying to catch his breath.

"Wow..." Rarity said taking in a much-needed breath of her own from a kiss that sent her head spinning. "You're so much warmer than in my fantasies."

“And your fur is so much softer.” Spike felt a bit of confidence take over. "Well, I could just leave…and-"

Rarity let out a gasp at that. "Don't even think it Spikey." She kept her hooves around his neck and noticed his grin. I might not get another chance like this.

Her response caused Spike to laugh a bit. "We can still fantasize Rarity." I knew it, I have caught you fantasizing before. This was your way of coping with your feelings for me.

"Oh believe me daring, the reality is so much better." She replied with a seductive smile and found her own heart racing with how her body was calling out. He’s been my fantasy in those books for so long… That had been her reason for keeping those books. Her mind drifted to the next part in the book and her heart skipped a beat.

As if on cue Spike replied. "We haven't made it to the part of your fantasy that I had interrupted." Both desire and curiosity drove him on. What will it be like? He paused at the question in his head before reciting a line directly from the book. "My lady, how long must we wait?"

Rarity’s mouth opened slightly. "No more waiting my darling." She replied without the slightest hint of hesitation, her body had been asking the same question each time she’d fantasized. It’s time I lived out my fantasy, my hero is finally here in the flesh…scales.

Spike had Rarity scooped up into his arms as he stood up. Crouching down he opened his wings with a single flap lifted off the ground, he flew up to the second balcony. Landing on the surrounding walkway he kissed her again and walked into her bedroom.

He laid her down on her bed, his claws ran along her beautiful tail allowing it to lay over the side of the bed. “Tell me Rarity, is that book going to remain your favorite?”

Rarity grinned at that. “I think it has some serious competition.”

Spike laughed while he climbed up on the bed, his larger form covering hers he kept his knees bent and his hands supported his upper section.

Rarity’s hooves came up around his sides as far as she could reach. When he was standing on all four, he was a little taller than a pony. She hadn’t minded that, it only added to her fantasies. She used her back hooves to nudge his knees letting him know it was okay.

Spike smiled and lowered himself down on her. He made sure she could still breathe.

“Spikey, it’s okay, I’m okay, darling, I would tell you otherwise.” She used her hooves to pull him closer.

Spike felt his cheeks flush a little bit. “In my fantasy with you, I’m the one laying on the bed.”

Rarity's mouth opened before she grinned at that. “Who said this had to be our last time, darling.” Oh, idea…for later.

Spike’s eyes widened at that, and he smiled feeling his heart melt along with another kiss from Rarity. He’d tilted his body slightly on his side so he could use one of his claws. When he ran it along her side through her soft white fur, he was greeted with a shudder under him. “None of my fantasies ever felt his good…” He said feeling his body reacting with hers.

“Oh, nor mine darling.” Rarity said and could feel her back legs resting on the bed, herself, her willing self was opening up for him. She glanced down and her eyes widened at the reaction she was having on him. My fantasy…reality is so much better.

“Rarity, are you sure?” He could see the look in her eyes when she’d taken a glance at how big he was. He felt his head spinning from the emotions flooding his mind and his body had reacted.

“Darling, I wouldn’t have allowed you in here like this if I wasn’t sure.” Rarity replied in an assuring tone.

Hearing that Spike rolled back onto his stomach and moved up a little higher. He watched Rarity clench her jaw at the expanding sensation she felt from him entering her.

Spike paused for a second. “Are you…” His voice trailed off when he felt her back hooves come around his sides encouraging him to slide in more.

“Yes,” She started to squeeze her muscles around him. “Darling I’m fine…” She let out a gasp and opened her eyes when the pain subsided. No fantasy could ever or would…ever feel this good… Feeling herself full didn’t even begin to describe the sensation. I’m not about to let this kind caring dragon ever go.

Spike about lost it when he felt her muscles working him. He could feel heat coursing through his body and the heat wasn’t coming from his dragon fire in his chest. His entire core was on fire. He felt like he was one with this beautiful mare that he was hoping would be his one day. He didn’t want to just have her to have her. He wanted her because of who she was, not what she looked like, her true beauty was on the inside. I made my choice so long ago and I knew it was the right choice.

“Spikey…” Rarity let out a gasp when she felt him start to move inside her.

He trailed kisses down her neck then back up to her chin and finally claimed her lips again. All while moving in and out of her in a slow sensual motion.

Rarity had found a rhythm for herself and matched her pace with him, completely lost in the sessions coursing through her body and core while she kept flexing her muscles around him, squeezing his thick shaft. She felt herself starting to shake and her hips started to tense up. “Spikey…”

It was like he could feel what was coming. He leaned on his side and was able to circle the sensitive spot between her diamonds again with one of his claws. If I was on top, I’d be sure and get both of them. Sweat was dotting his forehead, the heat of his body was now more intense.

That sensation combined with the other sent Rarity over the edge with fantasy and reality coming together in total blitz. Soon after she came back down, she could feel a rumble coming from Spike. Her jaw dropped open when the feeling of heat shot into her while he released while deep in her depth. If it hadn’t been for the heat of Spike's body, she would swear that steam was rising off of her as well.

Spike felt his arms give out along with his energy. He managed to turn sideways so as not to collapse directly on top of her. His breathing was softer now. Several minutes passed by and he lifted his head and shook it. Stars were dotting his vision while words echoed in his mind. He’d been wanting to say them for so long. Taking a breath he let them out. Now’s definitely a good time. “I’m glad I got to know your heart, where the real you has been for all these years. You’d caught my eye when I first saw you, but it was your heart that actually held onto me.” He said pouring his heart out when he thought that she was asleep. Then noticed a smile forming on Rarity’s lips.

Rarity felt a tear slide down her cheek, no pony had ever been that open and honest with her. Only this amazing dragon that she knew, and she’d never let go of. “Love, I’m not asleep.” Rarity replied. I doubt he’ll notice at first.

“Yeah, I knew-”

She heard his voice suddenly cut off. Thought so. She thought and grinned. “Something I said?” She opened her eyes and the look she gave him had him catching his breath again. His jaw dropped open again. “From what you just told me you already knew Spikey. Same as I’ve always known about you.”

“Yeah…you’ve just…you…” You’ve just never actually said it before. He wanted to say but his brain and tongue just wouldn’t cooperate.

Rarity started to giggle as Spike was trying to form a sentence without tripping over his own tongue. That gave her another idea that she would save for later. “Darling,” She grabbed his cheeks with her hooves. “Spike, I love you.”

Spike’s emerald eyes widened; those three words echoed around in his head. She said them with such ease. He finally let out a sigh with the realization that he was without a doubt hooked and always had been. “I love you too, Rarity.”

***

A few hours had gone by, Rarity and Spike had spent that time cuddling in her bed. When an idea stuck Spike.

“Tell me, love, do you have another favorite romance book?” He watched a playful grin spread on her face. Am I going to regret that question?

She glanced over at a fancy curtain she’d had on the wall. Summoning her unicorn magic she pulled it back revealing a massive bookshelf each of the book had a red heart near the bottom of the spine. “Oh, Spikey, we’re going to be busy for a while.”

Spike just sat on her bed with his jaw dropped open.

Author's Note

There's one scene in this story that cracks me up every time I read it. I can't help it.
I look forward to the comments.

Yes, this is my first one like this. Figured I'd give it a shot. I might write more of them.
