An eight year old filly lay awake at 3 AM. Her chest felt compressed and her breathing was labored and above she was staring into the eyes of impish demon. Terror was setting in and she couldn't yell or cry, she couldn't move. Her cutie mark was of a blood red crescent moon with a sword. The filly soon felt relief as it dawned on her what her cutie mark meant and the circumstances surrounding it. She received her cutie mark one night during a nightmare dream sequence and she had defeated a monster that had escaped her nightmare. Born a unicorn, and yet had the skills and power at a young age to use magic to conjure up wings for flight. Her magic skills were equal or great than Princess Twilight Sparkle's at that age. The princesses kept an eye on her because she would as she walked a dark mist followed. One other detail was that she could perform the spells that King Sombra used and were his favorites. Grinning at the demon before her she silently laughed and spoke in a whisper, "You don't scare me! The darkness from whence you came, I was born into. I am a nightmare! My parents have seen me use my magic and my classmates have too - I terrify them all." In a flash of lightning and sparks a sword conjured up and the demon found it's throat pierced through. "Remember asshole! Next time you show up like other times since I was six....I possess magic equal to an alicorn and a deranged unicorn....so piss off bitch! As a bonus....try better to scare me." The demon vanished with a smirk and Nocturne fell asleep and during her dream sequence Luna visited her "Nocturne Melody.....your skills and abilities have captured our attention, it's not often one with your power is born and possessing the power you have. For now young one, with your power we expect you to be responsible and hone the anger toward the pony who hurt you.....it'll be your down fall." "How your highness? He left us!" "When the time is right your mother will tell you, it's a touchy matter until your older." Nocturne wasn't satisfied with the answer, but in her young mind it clicked. If it was touchy she began to suspect it was secret, and remembering an old photo she had found of her father in a military uniform she concluded special ops and part of an elite group. That would she supposed explain her power and her mother she began to suspect now had more power than she used. Morning came and she was at School being bullied again. One of Nocturne's tormentors strolled up and followed shortly by his gang. "Afternoon slut!" Nocturne ignored the insult and kept eating her lunch. She was soon levitated and hurled into the school building. After three magic blasts, she had enough. "Damned bastards! Just leave me alone you annoying shits!" She stomped her small hoof and shards of rock spring up and pinning four colts against the trees behind them. A mist formed around her as her rage broke the boiling point. Three of the colts she hurled onto the ground and used a combination of spells that stole from them their magic and made them only unicorns with just enough power to prep food and small simple tasks; the combination also made them weak and she had also stole ten years each of their lives. "You three go fuck yourselves! And you Lugnut I will break you!" She screeched as the colt hit the dirt and she pinned him down with her magic and shattered his horn with her hoof. That night Nocturne Melody was grounded for eight months from her electronics and hanging out with what few friends she had. In addition, she got expelled from school for being violent. In her rage she tried to murder her teacher for letting her bullied getting away with their shit and not disciplining. About 3 AM she performed a spell that would when her teacher woke up and stepped out of bed, that she would lose four years of her life with each step she took. Nocturne knew more magic than was normal for her age and her study habits had made her very powerful. When morning rolled, news was spreading that her teacher had passed on. Before she or her parents knew it Celestia and Luna appeared in their living room and soon followed by Cadence and Twilight Sparkle. "Nocturne Melody....we know that a spell killed your teacher! Now if your parents don't mind we'll take you to the castle for questioning." Nocturne Melody soon found herself in the castle interrogation room. Nocturne soon confessed about her spell combination. The years of life she acquired from her teacher gave her a longer life span added to the ten years of life she stole from her bullies. A guard appeared and seeing Nocturne's glowing horn he assumed the worst and charged. Nocturne in a panick pierced his body with a dozen or so shards of stone and as the princesses tried to stop her, she cast a spell that would deflect magic blasts and that would increase her power. "Majesties! Why the hell am I cursed like this? My night Terrors I'm sure you know by now have become like play mates to me now and I can summon them when I want.....how do I use this raw power I was born with properly?" The princesses had no clue, and Twilight and Celestia tried to help her contain the power....it was Luna who suggested that they enroll her into Luna's combat training academy for gifted unicorns. Nocturne soon learned that she was a skilled warrior and had unique abilities such as using her magic to give herself wings. Among the hundreds of Threstrals of the Lunar Guard; there many unicorn and pegasi guards as well. She found her barrack, barrack 109. She entered the large stone building and soon was greeted by the barrack officer. The barrack officer, a large Threstral stallion named Stone Heart looked her over. "You're way to young to be in here! This place is reserved for those who broke the law and because of some power they possess were granted amnisty unless they fuck up the opportunity." "Go fuck yourself, and which bunk is to be mine?" "In this barrack we don't give you a bunk......you have to fight for it." "This I guess is my hazing to see if I'm worthy to be in with the 109th?" "Yep" was the short reply. The first soldier lunged at her and she aptly blasted him in the chest, while two more leapt for her. Stone shards shot upwards and a mist appeared and out leapt her favorite night terror. "Remember Talon....don't kill them just make them piss themselves!" Terror soon ensued in the barrack as the 500 ponies of the 109th quickly learned that they were out matched in magic and that the aerial advantage was non existent when the ceiling had become a sheet of stone spikes that alternated jabbing patterns. When the fight ended with the C.O. of the school stormed in. "Stone Heart! The hazing is finished, let the rookie get to her bunk." Nocturne Melody just set her small set of gear under the bed when she was tackled by a pegasus and had his hooves pounding into her. When it was over, she had one eye swelling shut, nose bleeding, a gashed lip, a possible concussion and had some bruised ribs. In her anger as the pegasus was forced outside to begin his laps around the base she cursed and swore and then blasted her attacker with magic. Nocturne sat in the medical office getting stitches in her forehead. As she glared daggers at the medic, a few of the onlookers came in to see her. "Wow Nocturne! Your sparkle is so powerful!" "Izzy....she sent a demon to terrorize a school!" "Hitch you silly filly - that takes a ton of power to do that." "The video of the fight is going viral riiiight nooow!" "Pipp Petals! Nocturne looked at these five ponies and smirked. She inwardly knew that the royals and these five know about the rift she had caused years ago that collided another parallel universe with her own. How many other parallels had she forged into her own world? "Fuck!" She thought to her self as two pink ponies glanced through a window at her. One had a poofy pink mane whilst the other had a flattened pink mane and smirked coldly at her. After getting her stitches she left the five ponies standing there in the middle of the walking path from the medic building to the mess hall observing a blue unicorn with a dual toned blue mane fussing at a Threstral, "You got to floss and brush those fangs! Nocturne Melody began to stress when a white mare with a pink mane walked past her. She recognized the mare from an old medical book....but how was she around? She died decades ago! Nervously she ate while Talon and his new companions, demons from Tartarus sat nearby. All of them froze when they saw two pink ponies, the very same two from earlier talking. "Let me get this straight.... you're me from a story written by humans who liked our show and took one scene, and made you a psychopath who killed your friends and made cupcakes." "Yep that's it" the the flat maned pink pony said. "You know what really cracks me up! The stories they made with the others." Nocturne Melody shooed her demon friends away and crept into the shadows to observe. (told ya!) The pink ponies were met by two cyan ponies with rainbow manes. "Pinkie Pie! I see you met your other variant....everypony else did to, what is odd is how we all collided. Discord doesn't have a fucking clue and it's not his magic." "You haven't met Nocturne Melody yet? She took aim and fired a barrage of magic projectiles and as the cyan pegasi tackled her she opened her subconscious and let Talon through. The latter forced the cyan pegasi into a hasty retreat when he brought in a few demons of various types. "Thanks Talon, now your four, where and how did you get here?"
