Soaring Emotions
Preparations and Reps
Previous ChapterNext ChapterRainbow wakes up to light shining on her face as she shifts on her bed, her legs sprawled out on the mattress as she leans up, she had slept naked last night due to it being a scorcher. She gets up and stretches out, letting out a loud yawn before she smiles, remembering what day it was.
'Today is Saturday, I can't wait to take Soarin out on our date.' Rainbow thought to herself as she walked into the bathroom to wash her face. She gently takes a washcloth and rubs her face as she bends over the sink. Once she's done, she goes back to her room and puts on her sports bra, shorts, and tank top before heading downstairs and into her kitchen.
Looking in the cupboard Rainbow takes out an everything bagel and splits it in half before placing it in the toaster. While it toasts, the athletic mare turns on her coffee pot, places a filter with two scoops of Foalger's and a bit of salt in the holder and fills the back with water before punching the brew button.
While the coffee brews the bagel pops up and Rainbow takes it out, getting the cream cheese out of the fridge she places two pats of cream cheese on each slice before placing the plate in the microwave for twenty seconds.
The microwave goes off and she immediately takes it out, the cream cheese steams as she pulls out a butter knife and gingerly spreads it on her bagel, the coffee brews with audible bubbling sounds as she gets out her favorite mug that has a compass rose on it and pours her a cup.
Rainbow sits at the table to hit her breakfast as she bites into her bagel, the tangy but savory cream cheese melts in her mouth as the onion flakes and garlic flakes tantalize her taste buds. She takes a sip of her black coffee, the salt made it perfect, cutting down the bitterness a smidge so she could enjoy it.
Rainbow hears her phone going off and sees it's her mother calling her. She answers it with a smile as she drinks her coffee. "Hey, mom. How are you doing?" She says as she leans back in her chair.
"I'm doing fine, just checking on my daughter, so did our story help you?" She asks as Rainbow blushes on the other end.
"Yeah, it did. Thank you." Rainbow replied as she took a sip of her coffee.
"So did you tell the one you like that you love him?" Her mother asked, causing Rainbow to almost choke on her coffee in surprise.
"You knew, but how?" Rainbow asked, surprised that her mother knew.
Windy chuckles at the question. "Oh, Rainbow, I'm your mother, of course I would know, you will be the same when you're a mother." She replies as Rainbow blushes.
"I did, I'm actually taking him out tonight." Rainbow said as her mother listened.
Rainbow and her mother talked for about thirty minutes before Rainbow looked at the clock. "Hey mom, I got to hang up right now, but it was nice talking to you." She said as she put her cup and plate in the sink.
"Oh, ok dear. Have fun tonight, but not too much fun." Her mother teased, causing Rainbow to blush bright red.
"Mom!" She whined as Windy laughed on the other end.
"I'm sorry dear, I just had to tease you a bit. I'll talk to you later, love you." She said, fighting back tears from her laughter.
"Love you too, mom bye bye." Rainbow replied as she hung up her phone.
She quietly does the dishes before heading out the door to go to the bank.
While at the bank she checks her balance and takes out two-hundred bits for tonight's date.
After the bank, Rainbow goes to the gym to work out for a bit, upon entering the building Rainbow was greeted with the sounds of clanking weights, grunts from patrons, and the slight smell of sweat. She goes to the treadmill to work on her cardio and starts it up. Unbeknownst to her, Soarin comes in and joins her on the neighboring treadmill.
"Heya, Crash." Soarin greeted her as he started up his machine and started to run.
Rainbow looked at him and smiled. "Hey, Clipper. I didn't know you also had a membership here at " Bulking Biceps." Rainbow greeted back as she began to sweat.
"Yeah, it's affordable, the trainer is nice, and there's one other thing that makes it great." Soarin said as he ran in place.
Rainbow looked at him curiously as she ran, her pits starting to sweat as her muscles started to glisten. "Oh, what would that be?" She asked as she looked forward.
"You." Soarin said, causing Rainbow to stumble a bit as she ran, she caught herself and blushed bright red.
"Oh, umm. Thank you, Soarin." The athletic mare stammered as she continued to run.
After a few minutes on the treadmill, Rainbow gets off and sits on a weight bench as Soarin continues to run, she watches him as she lifts five-pound weights in her hands, her muscles flexing with each rep.
After about an hour of workouts, Rainbow sweats profusely, using her arm to wipe away the sweat she looks at Soarin. "I'm gonna head home, are you ready for tonight?" She asks him while he's on the stationary bike.
"Oh, yeah. I'll see you tonight, should I look presentable?" Soarin asked as he peddled.
"Nah, just wear normal clothes, what I got planned is just casual." Rainbow replied as she left the gym.
When Rainbow gets home she puts her wallet on the dresser by her door and heads to the bathroom, she takes off all of her clothes and places them in a crude pile before stepping into the shower.
As she showers, she thinks about what she'll get, the veggie chicken curry or maybe the peanut curry, the thought of which made her stomach growl. She gently scrubs her breasts and arms, cleaning off the dirt and grime as she applies strawberry scented body wash over herself.
After she shampoos her hair and washes out the soap, she turns the water completely cold as she lets out small screams of shock. She stays under the frigid water for ten seconds before turning off the water and stepping out onto the bathmat.
After drying off, Rainbow goes to her room and puts on a sports bra and panties, rainbow socks, blue jeans, a pink shirt, and tennis shoes.
She goes to the bathroom and combs her hair, puts on deodorant, and a spritz of perfume before grabbing her wallet and heading out the door.
