The war was cruel. Dragons ravaged ponies like candies and burned their homes to the ground.

The war ended with Celestia and an army slaughtering the dragons; bringing them to extinction at the cost of her soldiers' lives.

However, one egg remained. Powered by guilt, Celestia chooses to raise this egg as her own daughter... much to the dismay of one servant.
