I know you guys expected the story I did not blog about but this is the one I have to write.
It just sucks.
Jan 14th, Two-thousand whatever
It was less than an ordinary day at CHS. Principal Celestia was on her computer in her office. Stumbling upon the months attendance she noticed that one student in particular, Sunset Shimmer, had not been in school for the whole of that month. Concerned she called down Sunset's friends to the office.
Once, the group of teens had arrived and Principal Celestia motioned for them to sit, the matter was started.
"Have any of you girls seen Sunset Shimmer over the course of the past two weeks?" She asked.
"No, ma'am." Applejack said, "Come to think of it we have not seen her at all since school vacation."
"Has she answered her phone?" Asked Principal Celestia.
"A few times." Fluttershy said, "But not anywhere recently."
"Do any of you have her home address?" Asked Principal Celestia.
"61 Leopold Drive." Pinkie Pie said right off the bat.
The Principal was so shocked all she could utter was a "Wow!"
"Well we best start looking for her after school." Applejack said.
So that's just what they did.
When they got to her place, it was a dump on the outside and Rainbow Dash could hear right through the walls which were ridiculously thin, not to mention leaky.
Everyone went inside, and it was really depressing.
"Sunset!" Principal Celestia shouted, "Are you in here?"
"It's your friends and the Principal!" Pinkie called.
But there was no answer. The group approached Sunset's room opened the door and...
The inside was so amazing, it could not be summed up in a sentence. It was a master bedroom complete with stairs and her bed on the second floor. Which was surprising given Sunset was living on her own. Obviously she put lots of dedication into his place, with a little help from her friends.
When they found Sunset, she was in her closet. She was crying and bleeding in places and her journal was in bits and pieces. She didn't bother to look at her friends or Principal, even though she heard them.
"Sunset?" Principal Celestia said.
"Go away!" Sunset yelled.
"We can't." Pinkie said, "We're all worried."
"I'm not in the mood, Pinkie." Sunset cried.
"Please, talk to us." Pleaded Fluttershy.
"Just leave me and my pointless existence alone." Sunset sobbed.
Principal Celestia was so Heartbroken to see one of her students like this.
"Sunset," Principal Celestia said, "If you can't talk to your friends can you at least talk to me?"
It was quiet for a while until Sunset finally spoke up.
"I want my life to be over." Sunset sniffled.
"Why?" Principal Celestia asked.
"Everyone hates me." Sunset said.
"Not true and you know it." Twilight said.
"Well, I don't care! I've been a disgrace to both worlds for as long as I can remember!" Sunset lamented.
"Is that blood?" Fluttershy asked looking at Sunset's arms.
"YES!" Sunset said, "I've been spending the last two weeks of my life punishing myself with cutting items."
"This really isn't good for you." Rainbow Dash warned, "You have to open up to us!"
"I just don't know what went wrong!" Sunset sobbed, "One Minute I was enjoying myself and the next I find out... I find out... Oh Celestia, I just can't do this."
"Sugarcube, we're all here for you." Applejack said placing a hand on Sunset's back.
"No matter what you say, we won't judge you." Fluttershy said, "Now would you tell us what's happening?"
"That's the problem," Sunset cried, "I don't know what's happening, no one will talk to me anymore. Not even Princess Twilight. She said that she would be here for me."
"Uh oh," Said Pinkie Pie, "I don't like the sound of that."
"I haven't heard from her in months." Sunset sobbed, "I fear she's dead."
"She can't be." Rarity said, "She's a princess."
"That doesn't mean she was granted the power of immortality." Sunset said.
"Can't you go back to Equestria?" Twilight asked.
"I don't know." Sunset responded.
"Well the least we can do is try." Fluttershy said.
"I don't want to go back!" Sunset cried.
"Sunset, my mom's a therapist." Fluttershy said, "She says she'll be happy to help you."
"Okay," Sunset sighed, giving in.
Three weeks later, She was able to get an appointment. Once inside Posey's office, she gestured for Sunset to sit down and things were underway.
"So what seems to be the problem Miss Shimmer?" Asked Posey.
"It all started when I was born." Sunset said.
One Pathetic Sob Story Later
"And after I graduate this year I'll have nothing left."
"Thank you for opening up to me, Sunset." Said Posey, "I think we can make some progress here."
