Emergency Reboot And Sorting
Deep underground in an advanced facility called Aperture Science, a little blue moron has been put in charge of the facility. And he is doing a VERY poor job at maintaining the different parts of the facility. Explosions rock the labs and entire sections collapse and in one section of the facility, an old project is knocked off of its support beam.
The small Lab was blasted off of its support beams by an explosion next to it, and it fell a good 3 stories before it slammed into another portion of the facility. And inside of this lab a Cryo-Pod is knocked over and breaks open, a small quadruped form spilling out onto the floor. Shortly after, the form began to emit a small humming sound.
Collision detected, initiating reboot sequence.
Personality Core Initializing.
What? What's going on? Collision? hold up a second, where am I? why can't I see anything?
Optical Systems coming Online.
Light-filled my eyes as suddenly I was able to see again, though it was awfully distorted. Like I was looking through a shitty camera.

Calibration? Ok, so that explains why it's all so blurry, but why can't I move?

Suddenly my vision cleared, Mostly anyways. What I saw in front of me was a desk much larger than me. It appears I'm in some sort of facility. Unfortunately, I can't remember anything. Must have banged my head, but for some reason, I get the feeling I'm not organic anymore. Well, I guess this whole "diagnostic" thing is a dead giveaway.

X17? Ok, I guess that means there were hundreds before me. Wonder what happened to them? guess I'll find out at some point.
Reboot Complete, Memories Unlocked.
Memories unlocked? guess they were just unavailable during the reboot. Strange they didn't boot my brain after they did everything else, Coulda saved me a lot of confusion. Wow, so this is my first time actually booting properly. Makes sense. Gonna have to sort through these.

"And I'm telling you it won't, Why did we even authorize this project again?"
"Did you forget about the portal that opened a few years back? They're real and we all know it! this project will let us gather proper information on their world!"
"Right, yeah. Proceed with the test then."
"She's already active, though she hasn't been through a proper system load yet, she can hear everything."
"How did you get her to agree to this?"
"She didn't."
"What? So you're saying you did this to her without her consent?"
"Technically yes... But she was already dying! it was a much better alternative."

Holy crap!
Right Forgot you could hear all that. Don't worry about it man she doesn't have any memories or any definitions, she may be able to remember this but she can't actually get what we mean.

Right, that's enough. She obviously still needs work but I see enough here to let it keep going.

"Wait, I was dying? I don't know whether to be furious or thankful."
Before I could do anything else the entire room shook as if something slammed into it. And then the entire wall opposite to me was torn off, and promptly dropped god knows how far.
"Shit, what the hell is going on?"
Warning, ReactorCore Meltdown In Progress. Please proceed to the designated Emergency Evacuation shuttles.
"Reactor Core Meltdown?! Holy shit I gotta get out of here. Wait, I was designed to infiltrate another world right? how were they planning on getting me there?" Quickly scouring through my memory for anything relating to a portal I found a set of instructions on a text file marked Important.
In the event of an emergency deployment situation, please proceed to the designated pathways and move to the transit portal. You will promptly arrive in the dimension designated as Equestria. Information on this world is limited, Apon arrival Initiate Chameleon Protocol to activate your Chameleon Circuit in order to hide your more Robotic Features. Don't worry about power, so long as you eat your bodies bioreactor will take care of everything. Of course, waste disposal was made to function exactly like a regular Pony. You have an entire system of Synthetic Organs. Along the way to the Transit Portal, there will be a Mission Deployment Kit. This kit will have everything you need to produce any replacement part you need or make any repairs. Aswell as synthesize raw materials into usable materials, Such as turning logs into planks. This is the most advanced form of deployment technology we could muster so don't lose it.
Though you do not require sleep it is still encouraged in order to power cycle your systems to decrease lag and lower chances of Core Corruption. As stated before food powers your systems. Any water you drink will be cycled through your body to cool off any overheated systems, make sure to drink regularly. If anything Alcoholic is detected, It will be separated to a different system before arriving at waste disposal and a simulated sensation of being Drunk will take place through your body. In order to properly simulate you being a "real" pony, a womb has been added to your list of functions, though any gestation of offspring is not possible. When your mission is over the portal shall be re-opened. If for some reason nobody is available to open the portal then feel free to merge with Pony society and continue learning about it.
"Huh, ok that explains a bunch. Just gotta get to this mission kit and head to the portal then. Though I doubt I'll ever be coming back, you know, cause the whole reactor core meltdown thing."
And I'm already talking to myself, Wow. Really winning the mental game over here. Alrighty then, to the portal! Turning towards the door I pushed it open with a hoof and found a massive pit.
"Well, Shit."
Looking up I spotted the catwalk that WAS supposed to be connected to this door. Guess that's the so-called Impact that woke me up huh? Well, better get climbing than. Looking out from the door I spotted several support beams that caught the small room I was in from falling any further. Luckily it looks like one of them runs along just to the left of the door.
"I can make that jump, right?"
Well no time to doubt myself. I took a few steps backward and then launched myself forward, galloping out the door. At the last second, I jumped as far as I could go. And promptly slammed belly first onto the beam. 2 legs falling off to either side. And 2 seconds after, a sensation resembling pain shot through my body.
Warning, Desync detected on pain receptors. Compensating.
So though I'm made of metal I still feel pain, well that's good I guess. Even if it is simulated. It helps me feel less like a robot. Pulling my legs up I balanced on the beam and began walking towards a room that looked as if it actually belonged on this support beam. And when I got to it I ran into my next problem, a big honking wall.
"Well shit, huh using that a lot today huh? well, I guess it's an accurate description."
Seemingly at a dead end, I sat down on the beam and began contemplating possible answers.

Wow, Always wanted to do a Portal + Mlp crossover. Especially with a robo pony. I think this will turn out to be interesting though I can't account for other people's opinions. I hope you enjoy it!
