Fluttershy is a timid, shy Pegasus. She is only 15 years old. Back when she was only 5, she had joined Flight School with Rainbow Dash. One day, she had ended up falling out of the sky, to the ground. There, she met amazing animals, and learned of the beauties of nature, thus earning her Cutie Mark.

By the time she was 14, she began to have certain 'feelings' for Rainbow. After a few weeks of being afraid to tell her, she finally told her. Surprisingly, Rainbow had the same feelings for her. That day, they began to share their feelings for each other, thus making them a couple.

Just a year after that event, an unspeakable event pulls them and her friends apart.
