The Friendship Games: New Studentby DerpyRulesChaptersChapter 1Chapter 2Chapter 3Chapter 4Chapter 6Chapter 5 (short chapter)Chapter 1The Friendship Games has finally arrived! Although not many were too excited about it but for understandable reasons. Every event they were always losing to the one school they could not stand. Low and behold Crystal Prep Academy. The school with a spotless repuation. The school where every student's ego and even the Principal's is higher than the peak of Mount Everest. No one from Canterlot High enjoyed Crystal Prep's bragging or how they think they're better than everyone else. Inluding those people were a group of 6 girls. Sunset Shimmer, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Fluttershy, and AppleJack. All were hanging in the Canterlot Library. "And then they have the nerve to try and deface our statue!" AppleJack said in annoyance. "They really think just because they win us every FriendShip Games, they feel entitled to rub salt in our wounds!" "Calm down, darling. But I do agree what they're doing is absolute rubbish!" Rarity said. "Although I do understand why there ego is so ridiculously high." "They are really good..." Fluttershy said quietly. "But are you sure he or she was trying to deface our statue?" She looked at Sunset who was the one who seen the mysterious person snooping around the statue earlier today. "I don't think that person was trying to deface it or anything," Sunset said scratching the back of her head. "But she was trying to do something." AppleJack sighed. "Well whatever it is, I think it's not anything good. With the Friendship Games coming and whatnot. Why I even bet whoever it is go to Crystal Prep!" All the other girls nodded in agreement. "You girls seem like you're making a big deal out of something silly," Sunset commented. "Silly?!" her friends gasped. "So I guess you think the Friendship Games are silly too huh?" Rainbow asked with a bit annoyance. "I mean it's not like we're going to be facing against evil magic," Sunset countered. Fluttershy walked up to her. "They may not be evil creatures from another world, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be cautious." Sunset chuckled and looked a bit guilty. "You're right. I'm sorry I just didn't think it was that important." AppleJack smiled at her friend. "Don't worry bout it, sugarcube. We know this is you're first FriendShip Games event." "Now isn't the Friendship Games supposed to be about getting along?" Rainbow rolled her eyes and took out a scrapbook. "It's kind of hard to get along with someone who beats you everyday" she muttered as she flipped through the pages. "Tennis, track, baseball, swimming." "I can't remember the last time we won," Pinkie said with a little sadness. "And that's because we never won." "Not this time!" Rainbow said confidently. All her friends looked at her. "Whatever do you mean, darling?" Rarity asked intrigued. "We've never won before, what makes you think we're going to win this time?" Rainbow had a smug on her face. "Oh you'll see." "Mhm" Sunset turned around to see a woman with dark blue hair and a suit coming torwards her. It was the school's Vice Principal coming towards her. "Oh Vice Principal Luna, you need something?" she asked. "Yes, as a matter of fact. There's a new student on campus and I was wondering if you'd be glad to give him a tour around here. He already met me and Principal Celestia." "A new student?! Is he normal?!" Pinkie gasped. "Is he even a human?" AppleJack chimed in. "Is he evil?!" Rarity gasped in shock. Vice Principal Luna just rolled her eyes and sighed. "Girls, Principal Celestia and I can assure you there is nothing wrong with him." "Well if you say so, Vice Principal," AppleJack said. "The last thing we need is yet ANOTHER power hungry villain." Sunset gave a kind smile. "Of course I can show him around. Do you know where he is?" Luna pointed torwads the Librarie's exit. "He's in my office. I told him to wait for you." Sunset turned torwards her friends. "I'll be right back. I gotta give a tour first." "Alright, sugarcube. Take your time, and tell him we would like to meet him!" AppleJack said as she smiled. Sunset made her way torwards the office and went inside. A teenaged boy was waiting for her. He had black hair and wore a gray jacket, light brown shorts and tennis shoes. He smiled at her as she entered the room. "Oh hi! You must be Sunset Shimmer." He said as she smiled at him. "That's me." She chuckled. "And you are the new student?" The boy beamed. "You got that right. Names Jordan Cobalt by the way," Sunset breathed in and continued. "So you ready for me to give you a tour?" "Absolutley," Jordan answered. He and Sunset walked out. While she was giving a tour, Sunset thought she could ask him something. "So why don't you tell me a little about yourself, Jordan?" "Sure. I actually just moved here a few days ago. My mom got a new job at the Canterlot Bank and my family and I moved in. We came from Philydelphia by the way." "Cool. Anything you like to do for fun?" Sunset asked. "I like first person shooter video games, music, and pretty much anything fun...I don't really have a set favorite thing to do honestly." Jordan chuckled. "Also at my old school, I was pretty well known. Not like most popular or anythign like that but I did made quite a few friends." He gave a sad smile. "Sad I had to leave but at least I still keep in contact with them via Discord." "Well I'm sure you'll make alot of friends here. In fact after the tour, I'd like you to meet some very good friends of mine. They're really nice." Sunset assured. She continued to show him around the school showing him the computer labs, all the hallways, the gym, and science labs. They made thier way over to the Cafeteria which was by far the largest room in the school. "And this right here is the Cafeteria. It's hard to miss." "Thanks for the tour, Sunset. "And also I'm very excited for the Friendship Games. This will be my first one I ever get to compete in." Sunset gave a little gasp in surprise. "You know about it? Well I guess Vice Principal Luna already did tell you about it." "She did," Jordan confirmed. "Well I don't want to get your hopes high or anything but there's another school who always beats us in everything." "Oh yeah, Crystal Prep. I know all about them already." Sunset looked surprised. Surely Vice Principal Luna or Principal Celestia hadn't told him that. "You know about them already?" "Lucky guess," he smiled and shrugged. Sunset chuckled and decided to introduce him to her friends. "Alright now I want you to come with me. I'd like you to meet my friends." Chapter 2Sunset and Jordan made their way over to the Library where the five friends were waiting. Rarity was the first to speak. She smiled at him and introduced herself." "Hello there, darling. Are you the new student?" she asked. "Yep. That's me. Name's Jordan. Jordan Cobalt and I just moved here so everything's all new to me." Jordan replied. "And you must be..." "Rarity," she said with elegance. The rest of her friends introduced themselves to him. "My name's AppleJack, and it's a pleasure meeting you, sugar cube." The farm girl said tipping her hat to him. "I'm Rainbow Dash! Only the most awesome, best, coolest athlete here!" Rainbow said with a smirk. Pinkie Pie quickly ran towards him and and gave him a tight hug taking him by surprise. "It's super-duper terrific to meet you, Jordan my name is Pinkie Pie and I think we're going to be really really good friends!" "Yeah that's great but you're crushing my ribcage," Jordan said struggling to breathe. Pinkie realized what she was doing and let go. She gave him an apologetic look. "Sorry. I'm just really excited to meet new faces. I know everyone around here! I know their names and where they even live!" Jordan and the other girls gave looks of discomfort and uncertainty. Pinkie burst out laughing. "I'm just kidding on that last part. But I do know everyone here! Well everyone that I can think of." The last girl to introduce herself was Fluttershy. She gave him a kind smile and waved to him. "Hi, Jordan. I'm Fluttershy and it's very nice to meet you," she said sweetly. Jordan couldn't help but notice how kind she sounded. "So Jordan, what do you like to do for fun?" AppleJack asked. Jordan looked quickly at Sunset and back to AppleJack. "I've already told Sunset but I like first-person shooter games and sports. Sometimes I and my friends back in Philydelphia would go out and shoot a few hoops. We also would play a few rounds of Valorant or Apex Legends." Jordan said. He then began to smirk. "Now I don't mean to sound bragging but me and my friends are pretty cracked players." "Really? I also play those two games. What rank are you?" Sunset asked. "I'm a Diamond rank in Apex and a Platinum in Valorant. I've been playing Apex longer so my ranks are higher on there. What about you, Sunset? You said you also play them." "Immortal rank in Valorant and Master rank in Apex." Sunset said with a smug. Jordan had a look of surprise. "That means you're cracked. Even better than me! Hey, we should have a match sometime or even duos. If you girls also play." "Totally! I'm also a top-tier player in both games!" Rainbow said confidently. "Literally no one can beat me solo or duos!" AppleJack gave her an annoyed look. "No one?" "Okay there's this one user I don't who it is that I can never seem to kill...the user is 'YourHP_0' "Wait that's the same one I've been seeing!" Jordan said. "I swear whoever it is, is on crack. The best I ever got about him was two kills until it seems like I can't even land a single shot on him! Now you girls have Discord or anything so I can add y'all?" "ShimmerCode#9753" Sunset said. "Rainbow#8873" Rainbow said with a smirk. "Add us anytime you want and we'll totally kick your butts!" Jordan laughed. He admired this girl's confidence. "Now as I already told Sunset I am very excited to participate in the Friendship Games. This would be my first one to compete in." "That's real nice, sugarcube but I wouldn't get too hyped up. I don't mean to sound like a downer but our rivals Crystal Prep are some nasty braggers. They constantly love to rub their wins in the loser's faces." "You think I don't know that? I am very well aware of Crystal Prep's victory reputation. Just last year they beat you guys in golf by thirty one points and the year before that, they won the tennis competition by 40-15." Jordan laughed nervously. "That was pretty rough." "What in the - how do you know all that?! I thought you said this would be your first time!" Rarity asked flabbergasted. Pinkie grabbed Jordan by the front of his shirt, the same way she did with Twilight the first time she met her and stared straight at him in the eyes. "ARE YOU A PSYCHIC! ARE YOU MAGIC! ARE YOU SOME SORT OF MIND READER?!" "Pinkie! Personal space!" Sunset said sternly. Pinkie let go of Jordan. "Sorry," She apologized "Don't worry about it but I can assure you I'm none of those things you said." "But how do you know what sport we played?" AppleJack questioned. "Or even the exact score?" Pinkie added on. Jordan scratched the back of his head. "Hehe well...you could say I'm just a lucky guesser." "Maybe he watched from the audience" Fluttershy suggested "But he just moved here, from Philydelphia. There's no way he would be able to watch the Friendship Games," Sunset pointed out. "Oh right," Fluttershy realized. "The only possible explanation is he knows some people here or even Crystal Prep that told him about the score," Rarity guessed. Jordan shook his head again. "I only know you girls, and the Principals so far. I don't anyone at Crystal Prep." "Wow..."AppleJack muttered. "Alright if you say so." Although she was skeptical, she didn't think Jordan was in any way a threat to be dealt with, nor did the other girls. The bell rang for class and the girls and Jordan started to walk to their classes. "It was great meeting you all, I'll cya!" Jordan said happily. "Cya, buddy. Nice meeting you too. We should hang out!" Rainbow said. The other girls nodded in agreement as Jordan had left. Chapter 3The bell for lunch rang throughout the hallway as the students all went towards the cafeteria to eat. Jordan got a tray from the stack and went in line. As he observed the food he could tell just by looking at it, that the quality of food here was better than the ones at his old school. He had gotten a double cheesburger with fries, along with a Pepsi and salad bowl. The cafeteria was also very crowded. Almost every student was there. He found an available seat at a table that had three people on it. The first was a blue-haired boy wearing a gray jacket and blue jeans. The next one looked bigger than the other two. He had light green hair, a beanie and wore a red shirt with a brown vest and light blue jeans. The last one had thick glasses, a yellow shirt with an atom symbol on it with purple pants. Jordan walked over and greeted them. "Sup. Mind if I sit here?" The blue-haired boy looked at him. "Oh hey. Yeah we don't mind." Jordan sat his tray on the table then introduces himself. "I'm Jordan Cobalt by the way." "Nice to meet you. I'm Flash Sentry," The blue-haired boy smiled. "Sandalwood," The chill looking dude said holding peace sign. "Micro Chips," the nerdy one said. "A lot of people here don't seem to excited about the Friendship Games huh?" Jordan chuckled. Sandalwood gave a sad sigh. "My dude, it may seem exciting to you since it's your first time but when you constantly lose to a bunch of egoistic snobs it gets really on your nerves." "I know but who knows maybe this time will be different." Jordan tried to reassure giving a hopeful smile. "Even if we are going to lose I am still hyped because this will be my first I will participate. You have any idea what any of the events will be?" "Beats me, they could be anything," Micro muttered. "And I mean anything." "Maybe keep your hopes high up, it might be something you like," Jordan smirked. "Yeah, maybe a fencing match for the final game. That would be sick!" Sandalwood wondered happily. "That would be really cool," Flash agreed. Jordan just shrugged his shoulders. "Who knows maybe a miracle might happen." He took a bite of his pizza slice and swallowed. Surprisingly it was actually pretty good for a school food. "Wow, this is actually not bad at all considering this is a school food." "It is pretty good," Sandalwood admitted. "Although you might want to pack your own lunch on some days. Sometimes the food they serve can be a bit suspicious." "Got it," Jordan replied. "So what do you usually do?" Flash asked. "Me? Oh well just video games and sports." "Apex Legends?" Micro guessed. "Yep. That and Valorant are my two main games now. You play Apex too?" "I'm more into games like League of Legends." "Nice. I used to play that game until I quit once I reached Challenger. How long you've been playing?" "For four years. I'm actually working my way up there." Micro said. The lunch bell rang and it was time for everyone to go back to thier classes. "Alright, I'll cya around. Nice meeting yall." Jordan said as his new friends gave him all a wave bye. He left the cafeteria and was about to head back to his classroom when he heard Principal Celestia's voice through the intercom: "Attention students, please report to the gym!". Jordan knew it was about the Friendship Games so he headed straight there. When he got there, he saw Sunset with her friends except for Rainbow Dash. Pinkie noticed him and waved at him wildly. "Jordan! OVER HERE!" Every head turned towards his direction making feel a bit awkward from Pinkie drawing attention to him. He walked over to the girls and took a seat by them. "Hey again." He noticed one of the girls he met isn't there. "Where's uhhh the other one...I don't remember the top of my head." "Rainbow Dash," AppleJack answered. "And she's on the backstage. Said she was going to give us a motivational speech or something." "At this point, we need all the motivational speeches we can get," Rarity muttered. "If that's what it takes to even beat Crystal Prep." "The problem is that we don't know what events are going to be happening. It could be anything!" "I'm sorry you couldn't win a single event but hey, maybe this year would be different." He suddenly grinned. "Oh and by the way, there's a chance that some of the events will be motorcross, archery, and a tricross relay." Rarity's eyes went wide. "What? Are you absolutley sure?" Jordan nodded. "I'm positive. Also expect a spelling bee someone in the Academic decathalon. I know it's not really helpful already knowing what events will be played but at least you'll be somewhat mentally prepared." "How do you know this?" AJ asked raising her eyebrow. Before Jordan had time to answer, Principal Celestia got on the mic and addressed her students. "Welcome, everyone to the CHS rally. Tomorrow we will begin our Friendship Games against the Crystal Prep Academy!" She said cheerfully. The students, minus Jordan all responded with unethusatic applauses. The later seemed interested about the news, despite the fact Canterlot High has never won once before. Principal Celestial seemed to notice the students lack of enthusiasm. "We know that our school has never won...ever but that is why Rainbow Dash has volunteered to give us a little...motivation." Rainbow came out from the curtains on the stage and took the mic from Principal Celestia. "Thank you, Principal." She turned towards the students. "You heard what Principal Celestia said! We've never won Crystal Prep once! Not even a close one but that doesn't mean we should give up. We shouldn't let them make fun of us! Just because they're smart, athletic, motivated than our school doesn't make them any much better." "She about to give a motivational speech I assume," Jordan said. "You betcha" AJ replied. "Wonder how motivated we'll be." "This year that's all going to change!" Rainbow continued on. After the song, all the students cheered feeling much better about themselves. Jordan meanwhile was shocked about Rainbow's transformation. "What in the..." "It's something that happens when we do certain things. It's called Ponying up!" AJ laughed. "I bet you're old school didn't have that huh?" Jordan returned the laugh. "Hehe not really. Not that I don't believe in magic or anything, I just never seen it in person before." "We'll you definitley be seeing it alot here, darling." Rarity said. Her friends and Jordan went to catch up with Rainbow at the backstage. "Wow, Rainbow. I gotta say that was incredible!" Jordan complimented. "Judging how much you lifted everyone's spirits I have no doubt we can win!" "Although it is a bit suspicious how Rainbow was able to pony up without playing her guitar..." AJ said suspiciously. "Who cares? It's awesome when it happens!" Rainbow said cheerfully. "You're not wrong, but there's gotta be more reason than that," Sunset said as she chuckled. Vice Principal Luna came by. "Well whatever the reason may be, it would be preferrable to keep it under control. We don't want Crystal Prep to think we're at some sort of fair advantage." "Of course, Vice Principal Luna." Sunset said. Luna nodded in approval and turned to Jordan. "And I'll like to see you in the Principal's Office. Me and Principal Celestia have some important things to discuss." "Yes ma'am," Jordan replied. He turned towards Sunset and the girls. "I'll catch you girls later. Peace." He said holding a peace sign and began to walk out. "later," Rainbow said "Cya!" "Bye!" Chapter 4"Anyone has any idea what the games are going to be?" Rainbow asked. There was a few moments of silence until Fluttershy broke it. "We don't even know what we're doing." She said gently scratching her arm. "I mean almost everyone doesn't know." "Jordan seems to know." He says we might be doing motocross and a tri cross relay." AJ said. "Oh and an archery and spelling bee!" Pinkie chimed in. "Ooooh, I wonder what words are going to be put in." "Well if what Jordan said is true then at least we know right?" Rarity said with hope. "I mean I just can't help but wonder about that new kid. Not that he's dangerous or anything." "Not at all. He's pretty cool!" Rainbow agreed. "Although you are right. There is something about him that he's hiding and we're going to get to the bottom of it!" All the girls made agreeable comments before Sunset spoke up. "That sounds like a plan, but right now I gotta focus on why Rainbow ponied up. That's our biggest concern right now. The thing with Jordan can wait. I gotta go, I'll see you, girls, later!" She waved as she left backstage. "Now I still don't get how Jordan knows everything about the friendship games even when he's new here," AJ mentioned. "It's like he has something that we don't." "Maybe he is a psychic!" Pinkie guessed. "And the reason why he's saying he's not is that he's just self-conscious about his magic powers and doesn't want us to think he's not normal!" "That is a possibility, darling but we shouldn't jump to conclusions so fast. We can't assume everything to be magic. It could be something else," Rarity implied. "You're right. Right now we should get ready for tomorrow. I'll see yall at the end of lunch." AJ replied. The rest of her friends went their separate way to continue for the rest of the day. Crystal Prep Academy A teenage girl walked through the hallways carrying her books. She was purple-skinned and had dark purple hair with a magenta streak. She donned a patterned purple skirt, a vest, a white collard shirt underneath, a tie, long blue socks, and royal blue shoes with diamonds on the buckle. The hallways were rarely empty, considering she had bumped into multiple people along her way. "Hey! Watch it! "I'm walking here!" "Sorry...sorry" She quickly said as she picked up the pace. Still holding her books close to her chest, she arrived at her dorm room and went inside. Inside was a bunch of science equipment complete with test tubes, posters, a work desk, and a trashcan full of papers. On the wall of the work desk, are pictures of Canterlot High that all seemed to be connecting to the Wondercolt's statue in the front. Also in the room is a purple and green puppy with a purple spiked collared around his neck. He excitedly wagged his tail and ran over to his owner in excitement. "Arf!" He barked. The girl giggled as she sat down at her work desk and he jumped on her lap. "Did you miss me, Spike?" She asked playfully as she petted the top of his head. He barked playfully as he spun around. "Calm down, Spike! You're acting like you haven't seen me all week!" She laughed as Spike hopped off her lap and continued to wag his tail. "Guess what, Spike? I was able to get a reading off of Canterlot High!" She squealed holding a circular magic device in her hands. Spike growled in response upon hearing Canterlot High which the girl sighed. "I know I know I don't like it there either but I just couldn't help it!" Spike looked at her with a confused tilt of his head. A knocking sound came from the door and a young woman opened it. She had long purple, dark purple, and yellow-streaked hair with a light pink skin tone. She wore an aqua blue skirt with a formal blue blazer and a crystal heart emblem on the front and golden heels. It was the Dean of Crystal Prep: Dean Cadence. "Twilight, you know the rules against having pets on school grounds," she said giving her a stern look. Twilight laughed nervously and held up Spike. "But Spike isn't a pet, Dean Cadence. He's the main focus of my research: Human Canine cohabitation." She said patting Spike on the head. "If you say so, but I suggest you get changed. Principal Cinch is highly allergic and she's waiting for you in her office." Cadence said picking a piece of Spike's fur off of Twilight's shirt. "Oooh is it about my application into the Everton Independent study program?!" Twilight asked enthusiastically. Cadence let out a sigh and tried to put on a small smile. "That's what I was meaning to talk to you about...Are you sure you want to take those classes? There's hardly anyone in the same class as you're taking," She gave a slight frown. "It's like you'll be doing everything by yourself." "Well I mean it's not called an Independent Study Program for nothing, right?" Twilight chuckled. "But this is exactly what I want! To be able to focus on my career and future!" "If that's what you want, I can't stop you," Cadence said. "I just don't want you to miss out on anything, and being around other people can teach you a few life lessons along the way." She turned to leave but not before asking, "See you in Principal Cinch's office?" "I'll be there," Twilight said. Cadence closed the door leaving Twilight and Spike by herself. Twilight knelt down as Spike hopped on her lap. "I don't know why she's worried, Spike. It's not like I'm going to need any friends," her dog hopped off her lap as Twilight started to make her way towards the Principal's office. "I'll be back Spike." She closed the door behind her. Canterlot High And sign-up sheets are available at the gymnasium later today! Remember, the more students who participate, the better chance we have at becoming victorious! Came Principal Celestia's voice over the P.A. Sunset and her friends were playing their instruments in the band room: their hairs extended into pony like manes, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash had wings. When they were done playing, they returned to their normal forms. "That was awesome! Let's hope the Friendship Games have a music competition because we would totally kick Crystal Prep's butt!" *knock knock* "Come in," Rarity called out. Jordan peeked his head in. "Hey. I just got back and I couldn't help but notice how well you sounded," he complimented. "Why that's really nice of you to say, darling." Rarity said as she giggled. She noticed that Jordan had a wireless earpiece in his right ear whereas before he didn't. The other girls seemed to notice too but assumed it was nothing. "So mind if I ask what yall doing in the games? I'm thinking about archery." Jordan asked. "Hmmm maybe I'll take up on the bird house building." AppleJack pondered. "I mean I do build alot of things!" Jordan looked confused. which the farm girl laughed. "I was raised in a barn my entire life. Where I come from, I learned to build alot of things with my bare hands." "So country girl, huh?" Jordan inquired. "That's acutally pretty cool. You know I have a friend in Manehattan who also grew up on a farm. Oh and I'm probbaly thinking about doing the spelling bee and archery." "Me and Fluttershy are thinking about doing the baking contest!" Pinkie said with joy. Jordan couldn't help but notice how bubbly Pinkie was being. "Well I hate to cut this short but I got some important tasks to take care of. If I don't see you later today, I'll definitley be seeing you all tomorrow." The girls all waved bye as Jordan left. Chapter 6Twilight made her way toward Cinch's office as she let out a sigh. What could she want from me?. A hopeful thought crossed her mind. Maybe she's going to approve my application for the Everton program. She opened up the door to see Dean Cadence and someone else. Someone who she wasn't expecting to see: A young man a few years older than her. His hair was the blue and light blue streak. His attire was a purple sweater with a tie and collar. He also wore a pair of purple blueish dress pants. It was Twilight's older brother: Shining Armor who had also attended Crystal Prep before his sister. "Shining Armor? What are you doing here?" Twilight was curious wondering why her brother was in the office. Shining smiled at his younger sister. "Hey, Twily. I know it's probably a surprise me being here and all but Principal Cinch thought since I was an alumnus, I could provide some unique perspective." "Perspective? Perspective on what?" Twilight asked. "The Friendship Games of course," answered a cold voice. The big chair in front of the desk had its back turned towards Twilight. Whoever was sitting in it spun around to face her student for the first time. Twilight looked into the cold eyes of her Principal. An elderly woman with light purple and purple streaked hair. She wore small red glasses, pearl earrings, a blue suit with a dark blue dress skirt, and casual dark blue heels. "The Friendship Games...I don't understand," Twilight started to say. Principal Cinch got up from her chair and cleared her throat. "Shining Armor, do you remember when we traveled to Appleloosa for the Friendship Games?" she asked addressing Twilight's brother. Shining couldn't help but smug. "Of course I do." "And can you recall who won?" "Crystal Prep did." "Now what about the time we traveled to Philydelphia for the finals? Tell me who won." "Crystal Prep. As always." Cinch looked at Twilight. "You see, Twilight. We ALWAYS win. It doesn't matter who we compete against and for that, we've developed a sort of REPUTATION. My reputation. It's not just Canterlot that knows us too well. Appleloosa, Taiwan, Manehattan, Phillydelphia, heck even Paris from the other side of the world know about us!" "I still don't get why you called me here," Twilight said, feeling a little nervous. "Twilight, you are one of my best students...right?" Cinch asked giving her a cold glare. Twilight seemed to shrink back in her chair a little. "I-I think so." she stammered. "Think so? Twilight, you have the best test scores out of all my students here in Crystal Prep. Not ONE other student of mine has even reached the genius level you achieved. I have no doubt you would bring great tribute to the Friendship Games." It suddenly dawned on Twilight what Cinch wanted her to do. "You want me to compete in the games?" Cinch didn't even bother being vague on her answer. She nodded and gave Twilight a stern look. "With your great ability, I have no doubt we can push our reputation even farther." "But...I don't know anything about the games and my work-" "Ahh yes...your work. Shining Armor, would you please bring me Twilight's Application to Everton?" Cinch addressed him. Shining nodded and headed out to retrieve the paperwork. He came back a few minutes later with a tan colored folder with a few papers inside. He handed them over to Cinch and walked out leaving the two of them alone. "You see, Twilight. One of the benefits of having such a high winning streak is having a sort of influence. In other words, I can easily have your application approved." Twilight's face lit up with hope. "Really? You can do that?" "Don't get your hopes too high, Miss Twilight! If you want me to approve of your application I'd suggest you compete in the games...or I could have it...denied!" Cinch said coldly folding her hands on her desk. Twilight gulped and looked down. She was being blackmailed! Either compete in the games or refuse and have your application of your dream education taken from you! "So, Twilight what's your answer?" Twilight took a moment to think things over in her head. I don't know anything about the Friendship Games, but if I refuse, there might not be any more chances at getting my application approved!. After a few moments of fidgeting with her fingers, Twilight gave in. "I'll compete," A grin spread across Cinch's face. "Excellent choice." She mused. "Now I suggest you go and get ready for tommorrow. It's going to be a big day." Twilight got up from her chair and headed on out. For the first time in her life, she would be competeting in these games. As she made her way back to her dorm room, she thought to herself maybe this won't be so bad but then again I don't know anything about the games!. Chapter 5 (short chapter)Two weeks prior to the games Manehattan "Of course we'll be there! We wouldn't want to miss the Friendship Games!" said a girl who looked like a new freshmen in college. She had long blonde wavy hair and wore a light pink skirt with white heels and a light yellow bowtie in her hair. On the other line came another male voice. "Yeah I know. *sigh* you know out of all the Friendship Games the Canterlot vs Crystal Prep is the most...intense." The voice sounded a bit dissapointed but nontheless kept a calm demeanor. But I'm not saying that all the other games are laid back." "Of course not. The competetion between Filidelphia and Taiwan was pretty competetive. If I remember correctly the score was really close! 30-29 lead for Taiwan hehe," the girl chuckled. "Wow I remember too. Taiwan's reaction was so chaotic. Anyways you'll be flying over to Canterlot, Kayla?" The girl, who's name was Kayla nodded. "Yeah, Thomas and Drake are going to be there too the whole gang. Although Thomas might arrive a little later. It's a bit hard to catch a flight in Taiwan you know how busy and crowded over there is, but he'll still be here before the games." "No problem. Now since we've already laid out and planned the events for this Friendship Games, I'm about to send these ideas to get the approval from both schools. I'l do it in a few days so I suggest you talk this over with Thomas and Drake if there's any changes that you guys want to make." "No, I don't think any changes are neccessary." Kayla said. "I think they're really good, although you think the math equation for the Acadeca is a bit too hard?" "Maybe, but it's good to have a little challenge. Alright but still I'll give you a few days to talk it over with the rest. I'll see you when you get there?" "Definitley," Kayla answered as the line from the other side hung up.
Chapter 1The Friendship Games has finally arrived! I'd like you to meet my friends."
Chapter 2Sunset and Jordan made their way over to the Library where the five friends were waiting.
"later," Rainbow said "Cya!" "Bye!"
Chapter 4"Anyone has any idea what the games are going to be?" Rainbow asked.
