Chapter 14: The Unexpected News (Warning: Shocking News)

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

Less than a month has passed by, and everything seems great for Green Amaranth. For money, the zombie pony had been mining gems and selling them off through Rarity to the jewelers in Canterlot as a way to avoid encountering Princess Celestia just in case the sun tyrant was outside of her castle one day, while also doing stuff for the fashion pony as payment for the bits that was spent a month ago for the date. He had been training himself in using magic and his hooves and had gotten better at both of them.

Green Amaranth and Pinkie Pie become a pair and started going on dates together, doing errands for the fashion pony, and had been visiting the therapists once every two days, which was making the zombie pony and the party pony feel slightly better from the traumatic incident involving Glint Spark’s death.

He’s been giving the CMCs assignments involving ponies, their Cutie Marks, and their Cutie Marks’ meaning, which the three fillies have been succeeding in helping them find out the true meaning of said Cutie Marks. Green Amaranth had also been eating non-pony meat by buying it from earth ponies who sell the stuff to ponies who do eat meat, and he had been trying to find a way back home. Even after searching through the Golden Oak Library’s books, a way back hadn’t been found yet, if there even was one, but the zombie pony hadn’t given up yet. After making Breakfast, he headed for Pinkie Pie’s room, when suddenly, the party pony came galloping out of it in a hurry.

Green Amaranth smiled. “Hey, Pink-” said the zombie pony, before being interrupted.

He attempted to greet her, but then Pinkie Pie turned and galloped into the bathroom while slamming the door behind her. The next thing that happened, there was the sound of the party pony throwing up into the toilet.

Green Amaranth grimaces at the sounds. “Are you okay in there, Pinkie? Do you need anything?” he asked, concerned.

After a while, she stopped. Pinkie Pie groaned while lifting her head away from the toilet. “Ugh. Yeah,” said the party pony. “I’m fine now. Just a little nauseous. Though, a cupcake would be nice.”

“Want some Chocolate Cupcakes?” asked the zombie pony.

“Yeah,” said Pinkie Pie.

“I’ll see if we still have any left. If not, then I’ll just get you a chocolate if there is any,” Green Amaranth informed. “How’s that sound?”

“Sounds good, and thanks,” she said.

The zombie pony headed for the stairs. “No problem. Anything for my marefriend,” he said. “Though, that is still a weird word to say no matter how many times I say it. Pinkie Pie being my marefriend is pretty nice, yet what she did to me is something I can never forget no matter what.

Green Amaranth never told the therapists about the incident. That was something he’ll need to talk with the party pony one day in the future. For now, the zombie pony will keep quiet about it.

Meanwhile-Pinkie Pie

She sat up against the bathtub as she was still feeling nauseous.

“Ugh. What the buck did you eat last night to make you sick?” complained Pinkamena. The killer pony could slightly feel the nausea despite being inside of Pinkie Pie’s mind.

“Nothing. I sometimes eat the same things I usually eat before bed,” the party pony informed.

“Maybe that’s the problem, or maybe you ate too many sweets?” asked Pinkamena.

Pinkie Pie had no choice but to agree with her. “Maybe,” she said.

There was a knock at the door.

“Yeah?” asked the party pony.

Meanwhile-Pinkie Pie

Green Amaranth was at the bathroom door with a plate of cupcakes.

“It’s me. It seems that there are still some chocolate cupcakes leftover from yesterday,” he informed. The zombie pony then smiled. “They look really delicious, and they’re all for you~.”

“...Hold on a sec,” responded Pinkie Pie.

After a few seconds, the door was opened slightly, allowing the party pony to stick her head through the gap. Once Pinkie Pie saw the plate of cupcakes, the party pony smiled.

“Just let me brush my teeth and I’ll be right out,” she said.

Green Amaranth nodded. “Okay. They’ll be on the table with your breakfast too,” he informed.

Pinkie Pie nodded before pulling her head back into the bathroom and closed the door. The zombie pony turned around. Once Green Amaranth made it to the stairs, he sighed.

“I really hate doing this. I should see if Rarity can make me something to help with my leg,” muttered the zombie pony.

Green Amaranth turned around and started trotting down the stairs backwards while balancing a plate of cupcakes on one hoof. He had been trotting down the stairs like that ever since he first came to Ponyville and was afraid that he might end up tripping and falling because of his limp. Until he had a solution, Amaranthe would continue as he always had forever.

Less than a Minute Later

While the zombie pony and Carrie were eating breakfast, the party pony had just trotted into the dining area looking much better than before.

He looked up from his breakfast. “How are you feeling, Pinkie?” asked Green Amaranth.

Pinkie Pie smiled. “I’m feeling much better. Thanks,” she said. “What are you having?”

“A toasted PB and J sandwich, some of the other leftover cupcakes from yesterday, and some scrambled eggs with diced ham, and topped with sour cream and salsa,” he informed. “Do you want some of my scrambled eggs?”

The party pony sat down at the table, and then nodded. “Sure. I’ll try some,” said Pinkie Pie.

After placing some of the scrambled eggs onto a separate plate, Green Amaranth grabbed it and trotted over to her. Once the zombie pony brought it over to Pinkie Pie, something strange happened. As soon as the party pony smelled the scrambled eggs, her nose scrunched up like they smelled something bad, and then she began to look sick. Suddenly, Pinkie Pie galloped away, heading for the stairs.

He became concerned. “Pinkie, are you okay?” asked Green Amaranth.

The zombie pony placed his plate down onto the table and went after the party pony, who had already made it to the bathroom and slammed the door once again behind her. By the time he reached the bathroom, there was the sound of Pinkie Pie throwing up into the toilet. Again.

There was only one thing to do. “Pinkie, I’ll go get the Cakes. Maybe they can help with this?” Green Amaranth informed.

The zombie pony’s only reply from her was the party pony throwing up once more. He quickly trotted over to the Cakes’ room and knocked loudly multiple times. After a while, the door was opened by Mr. Cake, who looked well-rested.

“G.A.? Why are you knocking so loudly?” he asked, confused.

Green Amaranth looked apologetic. “Sorry, I thought you two were asleep. Anyway, I need you and Mrs. Cake’s help,” said the zombie pony. “Pinkie isn’t feeling well. She’s throwing up in the toilet for the second time today. I think she’s sick.”

Mrs. Cake suddenly appeared from behind her husband, having heard everything.

“Oh, dear. We should go see how Pinkie’s doing,” said the wife.

He nodded before heading to the bathroom with them. The zombie pony knocked on the door.

“Yeah?” she said, sounding a bit sick.

“I brought Mr. and Mrs. Cake here. How are you feeling?” asked Green Amaranth.

“Tired, thirsty, and I’m feeling a little bit nauseous now,” said Pinkie Pie, exhausted.

“I’ll go get you some water,” he offered.

“Thank you,” said the party pony.

The zombie pony smiled before heading for the stairs once more. Green Amaranth inwardly sighed. “The things I do for that mare,” he thought.

The zombie pony once again trotted down the stairs again backwards.

Meanwhile-Mrs. Cake

Mrs. Cake had a hunch that needed to be confirmed. She knocked on the door. “Pinkie dearie, I have a question for you. Is this the first day you started throwing up in the morning or have you been doing this for quite a while now?” asked the wife, wondering.

“The first day,” she answered.

“When you woke up, you felt like you had to throw up, right?” asked Mrs. Cake.

“Right,” confirmed Pinkie Pie.

“What made you throw up the second time?” asked the wife.

“Why is she asking us these questions?” asked Pinkamena.

Mrs. Cake is concerned about us and just wants to make sure that we’re alright,” thought the party pony. “Well, G.A. offered me some of his breakfast and I accepted since it looked so good from right where I was sitting, but the moment I had gotten a whiff of it, it didn’t smell good at all. It was like I smelled something terrible. And then, I felt sick and rushed to the bathroom.”

Her hunch was becoming more and more like the correct answer. “I see. One last question,” said Mrs. Cake. “When was the last time you went into heat?”

“Last month,” answered Pinkie Pie. She then went and opened the door. “Mrs. Cake, is something wrong with me?”

The wife shook her head, smiling. “No, dearie. You’re perfectly fine,” Mrs. Cake informed.

The party pony gave off a relieved sigh. “Oh, good. For a minute there, I was worried,” she said. “Wait. Then why was I throwing up and feeling nauseous?”

“I’ll answer your question once G.A. is back with your water,” said the wife. “He does deserve to know too. He is your coltfriend after all.”

Pinkie Pie nodded, knowing that she was right. “Yeah. You’re right,” agreed the party pony. “He’ll be worried about me if he doesn’t know what’s wrong with me.”

Green Amaranth appeared with a glass of water in hoof.

Meanwhile-Green Amaranth

“I’m back with your water, Pinkie,” he announced.

“Thanks so much, G.A.,” she said.

Pinkie Pie took the cup and went into the bathroom after cleaning her mouth and drinking the rest of the water, the party pony now felt better.

She gave off a relieved sigh once again. “Ahhh, much better. Thanks, G.A.,” said Pinkie Pie.

The zombie pony smiled, and then Green Amaranth took the cup from her and placed it onto the floor to the side of him.

The party pony then looked at Mrs. Cake. “So, do you know what’s wrong with me, Mrs. Cake?” asked Pinkie Pie.

The wife smiled. “Dearies, I have exciting news. After listening to your answers Pinkie, it seems that my hunch became correct,” she said.

“What is it?” asked the party pony.

“Pinkie dearie, you’re pregnant. Isn’t that exciting?” announced Mrs. Cake. “Congrats you two. Though, I am surprised that you two didn’t wait until you were married and moved out of the bakery to have foals.”

Pinkie Pie and the zombie pony were both shocked.

“What?” she asked.

“What?” asked the killer pony, shocked as well.

“...What?” asked Green Amaranth.

The zombie pony really wished that he could faint right now.

Author's Note

I couldn't think of anything to happen for the next few chapters, except for more dates, Green Amaranth practicing their magic, visiting the psychiatrist with Pinkie Pie, him working, etc. since that's all normal, so, I moved the chapter as Chapter 13 and timeskip everything by almost a month. Don't worry, I'll have some adventures thought up in the future. Also, the flashback date chapters will be happening after Chapter 15.

He had to pretend like everything was okay, but it wasn't. He can never forget what she did to him.

Looks like the two are now parents. If you're probably wondering how Pinkie Pie got pregnant in the first place, it'll be revealed on the date chapters.

The Psychopath proofread this chapter.

Comments are welcome.
