Pall and Iota kept running and running they dare didn't stop until they were faraway from the entrance of the forest and they were faraway from the entrance of the forest. Then they finally stopped feeling that they are faraway enough for them to stop and rest when they reached. The spot they almost fell backwards when they tried to lay down they were exhausted so much so that they almost blacked out. Their lungs finally settled down letting them breath normally. Now that they are resting Iota has some questions. She wants to know what that attack on ponyville was all about. They destroyed ponyville and turned all the ponies into dust piles. It was horrible of them to attack everypony but there could be a reason for this right?. They must have a reason for this sudden turmoil that occurred. Anyways they are in the forest now the need to hide somewhere but where are they supposed to stow away at?. Also they needed to be out of the rain as well. The only place in the everfree that could be helpful is the abandoned castle of the two sisters. Of course the castle would be a great place to avoid danger.

"So where do we find some sanctuary at?".

Iota asked

"Well the only place that would be of help is the old castle Queen Twilight mentions sometimes you know the old castle of the two sisters It's the only place where we can go".

"The castle of Celestia and Luna?"

"Yeah that's the place...you wish to come?"

Pall says

"Of course I don't want to stay out here for another minute but what about the creatures of the forest?".

"What about them look at what those black bipedal things did to that cockatrice over there".

Pall points to a scared cockatrice hiding in a tree quivering. If those things scared the life out of the cockatrice then that would mean that the forest isn't that of a dangerous place. Thanks to them all the monsters in the forest aren't interested in hunting down prey. And that both of them could get to the castle fast in no time at all they won't be slowed down. They have no need to be scared of walking in the darkness there's pretty much nothing that could stop them from arriving at there destination.

"Alright to the castle we go"

Onward to the castle they go nothing can bother them from getting to the castle...well hopefully nothing. If there was something that could do the job of stopping two mares. It would possibly be the things that wouldn't have to do much to stop some guards. Those things can just turn a living creature to dust so yeah they don't have to do any combat. The two walked on the dirt path there's no need to leave the dirt path it's the only path that can get them there. It had been a few minutes since they first started walking but they might be getting close. It was still raining and none of them had any umbrellas but they do have there hoodies. Well there not much but did keep them warm and kinda dry so yeah. It was quite it was kind odd the the everfree to be dead silent but they ignored it. A snap of a stick came from the woods that were next to the right side of the trail. Was that a snap? eh it could've been a squirrel roaming about. Four seconds later there was a secent snap coming from the woods. Iota thought that one was from a bunny but was it though?. Two more snaps were made in the darkness of the woods. Pall was starting to have some suspicions about the snapping of the twigs in the woods. Iota was went from feeling normal about the snapping of twigs to feeling as if something wasn't right. Then a few green lights glowed in the darkness. Wait those green lights they look familiar. Then it hit them those green lights are the eyes of the things that attacked ponyville.

"Ah shoot!"

Screamed Pall

Pall grabbed Iota and was now carrying her and started running. Pall has been running real fast but were those things chasing them?. If they were Iota would be giving the details and stuff. Pall kept running until the castle was in view. Yes the castle she ran some more and finally. They made across the castle's moat the second they were inside. They both pushed the two big doors closed. They made it now They just sat there with their backs resting up against the doors. It was a close call but now they're safe within the walls of the castle. Nothing can get to them in the castle now.

Meanwhile

Ponyville was in disarray almost half of the town was on fire. There were no ponies in the town anymore they all were gone because of the machines. They blasted each and every pony that had been targeted. Even though it was raining it didn't slay the burning fires that rest on the buildings of the nice town. Inside the airship there stood a bulky wide shouldered figure his full appearance was hidden in the shadows. Of the airship's control and pilot room. Both his right eye colored red and left eye colored blue. Were glowing in the shadows he looked at one of the monitors. That showed the wrecked sight of the town. The look in his eyes showed that he was pleased with this. He grabbed a microphone and spoke in his deep bulky man voice.

"Alright DGIs we're done here return back the the airship".

The black bipeds known as DGIs hopped in the flying machines and flew up to the airship. When they all had returned the figure grabbed a futuristic phone. And called an anonymous person.

"The ponies are gone now now construction can begin now".

"Roger that partner"

Said the anonymous person who the figure was talking to and hanged up.
