Justin jolted awake as the train shifted. He yawns and tries to bring his hands up to wipe away the sleep. Only he can't raise his left arm, pressing it against something rather plush. Rarity gives him one final, lady-like huff and turns herself away from him. "Come along now, Justin. We've got to unpack."

The aromas of his cooking waft around the mare. Scents of spices, vegetables, among other things. The man's humming, him chopping, and boiling water reach her ears in time. In all her time knowing him, she's never really had a chance to try any of the food that he's made. Twilight seems to just rave on about his skills a self-taught chef. Then it dawns on her. She hasn't really been around the human as often as some of her friends have. Twilight is a bit of a given since she's the reason he's here and probably his first real friendly face. AJ had her reservations until he answered an ad for some extra work on the farm, proving how well he handled the hard work and her sister. The sound of a plate being set down in front of her pulls her away from her thoughts. Turning her head, she spots the man looking down at her. "You doing okay there? You look like ya zoned out, Rares."

"She's thriving up there, like she was made for the culinary pursuit." Justin smiles after swallowing his own bite.
The mare just nods, longingly gazing at him. "You must be proud."
"Very." He simply replies before looking out the window. "I have Manehattan to thank for that."
"Really?" Rarity tilts her head. "I'd thought you'd despise this place after what happened."
"Nah... If I didn't get... well... 'human-napped' I wouldn't have met the best change to my life."
The rest of dinner goes on with a rather calm tone. Drinks were brought out a bit later thanks to the human's forgetfulness. The two now stand at the sink in silence.
