But it was where all Sapient life was forced. Or, rather, were all non humanoids were forced. Oh there was the occasional ghetto, within the borders of the Terran Empire, but for the most part "Aliens" were pushed into the center of the Galaxy, to be forgotten. It's almost Ironic, that the Doctor's Quadrant, and the Synth Quadrant, were forced here as well. As if the Terran Empire didn't realize, putting all those they oppressed, in one place... would eventually result in a rival government developing. The Alien Quadrant, was modelled after the efficiency of the Doctor's Quadrant. With 42 Star Clusters, each containing 42 "Mega Systems". Each of these "Mega Systems" was made up of 42 Solar Systems, orbiting around a colossal sized star. Something so perfect would be shocking, if the entire galaxy hadn't been engineered. • • News Broadcast: The Master Chief. Today marks The 100th Anniversary of the Reaper's Defeat. That's 100 Galactic Standard Cycles, more then 360 years by the Terran Calendar. Today we honor, above all others, the Master Chief. John, Spartan tag 117, the same Spartan that many claim to be largely responsible for the victory over the Covenant, was found after 130 Cycles. Where many had hoped to find his body, the galaxy was amazed, as he was found still alive in stasis. Many of the species, formerly enslaved by the religious cult's ideals, were seen celebrating in the streets at the return of the Master Chief. Unfortunately that celebration left a bitter taste in many mouths, as 9 months later John Spartan, our Master Chief, was declared dead after an attack on his ship by a then unknown vessel. However his demon luck rang true, as he appeared back on the Citadel a mere 2 years later, ALIVE and reinstated into the Spectres. There he teamed up with the Current human Spectres, Jane and John Shepard, no relation. They worked together to investigate the disappearance of Humanoid planets. All solar systems, with lifeforms based on the humanoid animal Kingdom, or even the potential for humanoids to evolve, were inevitably brought to the primary Citadel, at the center of the Galaxy. A Citadel so massive, that all other Citadels orbit it. Made from hundreds of uninhabited galaxies. A new Galaxy was spliced together inside it's rings, by none other then the Collectors. The very aliens that destroyed the Master Chief's ship. It took us just under an Earth Year, but due to the United armies of humanity's most powerful species uniting, We were able to beat them back. Over the course of three years, humanity prepared for the Collectors' masters, and as expected they arrived to Harvest all space fairing civilizations. We called them 'Reapers' as they symbolized the end of everything. The Galaxy united and lured the Reapers into a trap. The final battle around the Citadel. There the three human Spectres were able to defeat them. By uploading the Master Chief's Artificial Intelligence assistant, "Cortana", into the Citadel Mainframe. She was able to take direct control of all the Reapers, reprogramming them into a more passive state. While trapping them around the Citadel. All the Mass Relays were destroyed as a result of this. This may have trapped the Reapers but it also trapped us. Humanity, along with the various armies of aliens that came to our aid. We are now permanently sealed off from the rest of the Galaxy. Just as each Galaxy is sealed off from each other. • • USS Enterprise, Starship Carrier: Picard sat in the Lounge, along with those who had once been the finest Senior officers he ever served with. While most of them were Commodores, a handful had been promoted to Admiral. Even though it had been nearly 700 Earth Years, since Picard was Captain of the Enterprise-D, most of his crew was still around. This was thanks to Wesley Crusher, who manage to reverse engineer the transporter accident... which had turned Picard into a "little rascal". The device was perfected, in what became known as a "Rejuve Pod". By turning the individual into energy, specific genetic markers could be removed. This turned them back into a child. From there, they would be sent to a relative, close friend, or "Daycare" Planet, to be re-raised. Depending on the individual's career, they were usually placed on Sabbatical. So they could enjoy another childhood, until they "grew up" again. Picard had been through the procedure a total of 5 times... and each time, he despised it. However, it was better then dying. At least he maintained his rank of "Admiral" after getting off sabbatical, at 25 years old. However... It had quickly become increasingly difficult, to get promoted to Admiral. As nowadays, you were expected to have multiple lifetimes under your belt. Of course, after learning to extend life, potentially indefinitely... well it became a matter of course, that it get harder to be promoted... even with the nearly 15 year long sabbaticals. If anything there were too many Admirals in Starfleet. • Regardless, the big wigs had decided to reunite Picard with his famous Senior staff, and even many members of his crew, for the tricky task which lay ahead. Picard had parked the newest ship, to bear the name "Enterprise", within the center of the Equuleus Star Cluster. The plan was, once the ponies offer was formalized, many of the Equuleus guards would board Picard's vessel. From there, they would be assigned to one of the many Star Ships, that was docked in the Carrier. Then return to the Alien Quadrant, to assist in the development of those worlds. Be it pirate hunting, to diplomatic missions. Unfortunately, Exploration... was near out of the Question. Given a Starfleet ship couldn't enter humanoid space, without triggering a war. That was the last thing anyone wanted. But they could help the developing alien worlds. • Picard felt sufficiently prepared for his meeting with the Equuleus military leaders, tomorrow afternoon. But there wasn't any harm in brushing up on this Civilization. After all, they were of high priority. If all went well, they would have yet another species joining their new "Alien Alliance". After the fall of the Federation, and the rise of the Terran Empire. Most ships of Starfleet joined forces, and are in the process of uniting the aliens. Unfortunately, because of these creatures Humanoid transformation, they were also of interest to the Terran Empire. Yet it was the Alliance the Equuleus reached out to. Picard smiled, if this exchange program went well, which had been the Equuleus's own suggestion, surely the next step would be physically joining the Alliance. • Right now, the Senior Staff of the Enterprise, were meeting with a representative of The Equuleus Quadrant's "Interplanetary" Fleet. Which was mostly responsible for guarding against pirates, and escorting diplomats to other worlds. She was "helping" the staff get acquainted with Equuleus culture, and etiquette. Picard got the vast majority of the files he'd been studying, from her... Although Picard found her brash nature rather... offputting. Her species had evolved from an Equine-like species. With Picard learning the hard way that comparing them to a "Horse" was considered extremely derogatory. They considered it along the lines of calling a humanoid an "Ape" or "Monkey". However, the universal translator insisted on naming their species "Ponies". Which they strangely saw no issue with. Well these quadrupeds were about head high to humans, so they certainly were small enough to be called "Ponies". Still it seemed a bit demeaning. Which wasn't helped by their chosen naming conventions. For example, this pony was called "Rainbow Dash". She was a bright blue, with multi coloured hair... actually looking like a Rainbow. With her coat, and her mane, being in bright pastels... as were her wings. "Celestia do you humans suck," Rainbow Dash spoke with her usual bluntness. "I mean, obviously not all of you are horses, but look at that!" She pointed at the screen near the bar. "They're actually patting themselves on the back, for forcing all non humans into the center of the Galaxy!!!" Riker sighed, as Data tried to be diplomatic. "This 'Terran Empire' is indeed a lesser replacement to the Federation." Rainbow Dash, high ranking Admiral in her military, scoffed. Holding herself with a lack of dignity, not fitting her station. "As if! I know you guys are always going on about the good old days, but I never met your 'Federation of Allied Planets'. It couldn't have been that different from the Terran Empire." "It really was," Riker insisted. "Truthfully, it wasn't that different then the Alien Alliance. Species from all over our Galaxy, joined together in a utopian union. Not only respecting, but fully embracing our differences." "And humans didn't screw that up?" Dash took a gulp of her Cider. Riker explained, "Humanoids help found this union, and had strict laws about not interfering in other cultures." Dash scoffed, "Sure." Picard had had enough. "If you recall, Lady Dash, it was Humanoids from Terra Prime, which helped build The Alien Alliance. "We did not agree with what the other Humanoids were doing, and came to help the other lifeforms. We negotiated for control of the 42 Star Clusters, that make up the Alien Alliance, and shared Federation Technologies. The current Starfleet model, is based off our own ideals." Admiral Dash shrugged, "I said not all of you were horses." Then pointed at the Television, "But they are." The Terrans sighed, not knowing how to refute that. Riker spoke up, "You should have seen The Federation, our Federation, at it's height. We had a whole fleet of ships, as big as countries, and technologies that could compete with the most powerful Magic Users... Most of that has been lost." "Why don't you lot build stuff like that anymore?" A blue Pegasus colt, looking much like a copy of Dash, suddenly appeared. The little Pegasus only came up to Picard's Knees, and Riker had to resist the urge to reach out, and pet the child. "Rainbow Blitz!!!" Rainbow Dash glared. "What have I told you about eavesdropping on these meetings." She wagged a disapproving wing, as if fingers. The colt just looked at her, with the biggest, saddest eyes, Picard ever saw. And it seemed not even ponies had a defense against it. Rainbow Dash sighed, before picking the colt up and setting him on the stool next to her. Then ordering him a juice box. Picard seemed rather uncomfortable. Still not knowing how to act around children. If anything, after being regressed so many times, he had gotten even worse at relating to kids. • "I heard about how you guys had a whole fleet of these Starship Carriers." Rainbow Blitz stomped one of his front hooves on the counter. "Now there are only a handful left. How come?" Data indifferently informed. "Most had their warp cores removed, and parked on planets. For our new allies to use as cities, as the planets were terraformed. Once they were finished, it was determined they should remain with the newly developed civilizations." Picard sighed, "Technologies are always lost, as Empires fall. I've always enjoyed studying archaeology. Although it is more a hobby, in practice. "The point is, I long since noticed that, older civilizations, would create technologies that were simply beyond us, but inevitably, they lost the resources to continue making them. Either through a change in government, war, plague, or some unknown element. For us, it was the reintroduction of an Economy." "Eh?" Blitz blinked. Riker elaborated, "Money. Without access to the majority of our Federation's 'alien' worlds. We lacked resources. Over the past 100 Cylces, we have been forced to focus more on Trade, with both the Humanoids and the Aliens. "But we found that bartering wasn't enough. You all wanted actual currency. So we were forced to adopt it. Then it began to get used more commonly, even between ourselves... until we no longer had the funds to maintain our lifestyle. "Within 40 Cycles, we lost most of our greatest achievements. Due to them not being 'Cost Effective' to run. "10 Cycles later, and the Federation abandoned all it's principles. As they joined the Terran Empire. Which caused starfleet to officially break ties, and begin forming the Alliance. Which was later dubbed the 'Alien Alliance' by the developing council. As they wished to reclaim that word. "Only a few technologies were prioritized. Replicators, Rejuve Pods, AIs for starships. Transporters were one of the things that got abandoned. There was simply no way to make that cost effective." Riker got his lecturing voice. Similar to what he used whenever Picard became his ward again... Riker had always been good with children. He continued, while Blitz listened intently. "But the technologies we did manage to preserve came with more drawbacks then they used to have. "Replicators got the biggest shaft, as people realized what money making machines they were. Different models were designed. Each capable of turning raw matter into something else. "Like the Military Grade Replicator, to build weapons and ammunition. It's illegal for those to be anywhere but on a Military Base or Starship. "Then the Industrial Replicator, to create construction materials. Those things are as big as a house, and can cost billions. We only got three of them on this whole ship. And we're the largest vessel in the fleet." "Then engineers had to cut out some features of the standard model. In order to make it cost effective. They needed tanks of raw matter, to be turned into other items. And... unfortunately, they could no longer be used to make food. As the material that came out was always toxic when ingested. "Thankfully, the 'Children of the Doctor' chose to share their farms with the rest of the Galaxy. With their plants growing not only produce, but various kinds of meat. Which require shipping freighters, and made way for new jobs." "Regardless, with all of those Replicator models being far too expensive to be common household appliances. Especially with the power needed to use them. A single Business Level Replicator needs a Grandmaster Dilithium Crystal, just to run the thing for a month." "However, it was more cost effective for stores to use Replicators. As opposed to factories. Companies would sell licenses, to be uploaded into a business' Replicator. Then the store would sell the items to the customers... "This made it harder to start a small business. As the cost of the licenses, the raw matter, and the Grandmaster Lyrium Crystals, not to mention the Replicator itself and it's maintenance... well all that can add up. "So mom and pop shops became less common... especially after the factories went out of business. So no help there. They couldn't even buy products to sell, without a Replicator." "Rejuve Pods were probably the only thing that got upgraded. As it was considered a high priority, to make the key to immortality, cost effective. One of the last Benevolent acts, of the Federation, was to make the pods available to all space fairing civilizations, regardless of species, on the condition they made it a free medical procedure. "Better safeties were installed, and memory blocks were set up. Oh the kids, remember the gist of their lives. All the key moments are preserved. We even insure their personality remains intact. But kids aren't meant to deal with adult traumas, so we tweek those into a more vague Awareness." "Like when Wisp reincarnate themselves?" Blitz blinked. "Sorta," Riker thought on it. "Only ours is artificially blocked. With a side effect being most of our lives... also become pretty vague. Including our education. We'll remember everything, eventually, but the memory block lifts slowly, as we age. So we don't get overwhelmed. "Picard was quite traumatized, the first time he rejuved. That had been a result of a Transporter Accident. So we were still learning the best way to raise Rejuved children." Rainbow Blitz frowned, looking as if in deep thought. Beverly Crusher, who had been sitting quietly until now, added, "A lot of medical technologies were preserved, and even improved on. But besides medicine, we don't have a lot of stuff we used to. Data, hoping to impart something on the youth, explained. "There were restrictions placed on the manufacturing of artificial lifeforms. Though I actually agree with that. "Now, only Synthetics can build synthetics. Along with labor laws, and equal rights. A gift, for our efforts against the Reapers. Although we were mostly given, our own Quadrant, to contain us. "We were given an assortment of gas giants, and used nanobots, to convert the raw matter into our own Dyson Spheres. Much like the Spheres the I'Borg inhabit, in their own nearby quadrant. The Cooperative is actually responsible, for building us these artificial worlds. Geordi decided to speak up, "The humanoids might have a united Empire, but it has a 'humanoids first' mindset. The other races, trapped in this Sector of space with us, are typically neglected, and at worst oppressed. Those Countless alien ships, sealed into this Galaxy, were all military vessels. So it was fairly easy for them to get organized." Riker added, "We Terrans managed to talk the rest of the humanoids into giving the Aliens most of their Black Rocks. Those are hostile worlds that can, supposedly, never support life. "Some of the more advanced species, moved those worlds out of their solar systems, and brought them closer to this center of the Galaxy... "That was at the Humanoids insistence. As they didn't want aliens living near them. In fact, the only reason they agreed, was because 'aliens' started colonizing worlds outside of what was being Terraformed for them. "Treaties were written up, so they can't do that, but let them keep the worlds they settled... provided they were moved with the Black Rocks. "The other humanoids only allowed this, as a means of containing the aliens into this Sector of space. That way, when your populations grow, you wouldn't be forced to expand out of your territory. The founders of this new Empire, had been bigots from the start, and that shaped the culture." Picard added, "While this was what we wanted, the motivations behind it resulted in Starfleet splitting off from the Federation. Which was all in favor of bending to the bigotry of the other humanoids. "50 Cycles Ago, Starfleet decided to organize the 'aliens' into our own alliance... and here we are. Trying to get all the groups to join us. "We realize you 'Children of the Doctor'." As they were apparently united by religious beliefs. Stating they were either created, saved, or descended from a diety. Who ruled over time as it's "Lord". "Well... we realize you already have your own united government, but we are hoping to merge forces." • The Reapers, through trying to contain the Doctor, had captured entire Star Clusters, made up of nothing but Mega Systems. Much like the Alien Quadrant, nearby. Which had been modelled after the Doctor's own. Regardless, The Doctor had used these original Star Clusters (made of Mega Systems) as Refugee Worlds, and kept a close eye on them. These were intended for the survivors, of the Last Great Time War, to rebuild. A gift from the Doctor, for those that lost their worlds in that horrible conflict. Species that's very planets were wiped from existence, yet a handful of survivors remained, despite having no planet of origin. After the Doctor brought the Refugees to these worlds, the Fates had worked overtime to re-establish their history. While the Doctor popped in and out, protecting the planets. Although he refused to interfere with their development... or at least... he tried. The Reapers had taken the various Mega Systems hostage. Bringing them into the Humanoid Galaxy, and placing them at the very center, for better defence. They threatened to destroy the worlds, should the Doctor interfere... unaware the Doctor already made plans for this. "The Children of the Doctor" or rather, the descendants of his granddaughter, Susan, had made a bit of a Splash throughout history. The Doctor ended up having to give them guidelines, to stop them from accidentally destroying the universe. Not through any malicious intent... but they wanted to be Heroes, like the Doctor... and could wind up doing more harm then good. They made their own TARDISes. Which stood for "Teleportation and Relative Dimension Interior Space". Based on the Doctor's own Time Machine... although far more limited. They couldn't travel through time... well not to any true extent. More like send who ever activated the Machine, back in time, to their previous body, by a few hours. Mostly the ships were just used to teleport around the Galaxy. Even the internal dimension, the shrine was bound to, wasn't nearly as big as the Doctor's TARDIS... although still much bigger on the inside, then it's simple shrine like exterior. • Regardless, Picard informed. "Black rocks are normally only good for mining. But thanks to you ponies, and your 'magic', you were able to terraform every world, with whatever that race needed..." Dash explained, incorrectly, to her son, "Our abilities are largely why they want us to join." Picard immediately corrected, "Not your abilities, lady Dash. We have encountered beings far more impressive. We wish to gain you as allies, because of the benevolent manner you choose to wield them. You didn't have to help the aliens, but you did, without even requesting compensation. You helped because it was the right thing to do... that, is why we want you in the Alliance." "Where the Terran Empire has their developing 'Space Forces', the Alliance will have the full support of Starfleet." Author's Note Updated the Lore, as of July 2022. • ● CODEXes: Equuleus. • 5 Billion Years after Twilight ascended into an Alicorn: Sub-ponies, were common in today's society. The result of magical mutations, occurring in one of the 3 pony tribes. These mutations were more rare, in the Time of the Two Sisters. However, they did happen. Species such as the Changelings, Hippogriffs, Sea-ponies, Crystal ponies, and many other pony based races. They were all races that manifested a third Chromosome chain. Containing vast magical mutations, that occured all at once, in a single child. Which was passed down to their offspring. Where as Hybrids, of two pony subspecies, were often born as regular ponies. With their third chromosome chain being dormant, until a magical surge awoke one of the chains. Or, the pony gets their cutie mark. Which destroys all traces of a dormant third chain. Dormant third Chromosome chains, require very specific circumstances, to awaken their genes. Which could trigger a magical surge, similar to cutie mark magic. Which is why actually getting a cutie mark can overwhelm the magic. And why most subponies either don't have cutie marks, or all have similar cutie marks. Such as Zebra, and Time Ponies. However, the trigger is different per Subpony species. And may never happen at all... so many Subponies will force the transformation. • Equuleus are what ponies evolved into, due to the destruction of the tree of Harmony. However, this only occurred within the Equuleus star cluster. The races that settled outside of said cluster (Such as Sunny Starscout's ancestors) didn't mutate into Equuleus. Due to the disturbance of Harmony magic, being too far away to effect them. • The Equuleus are a truly unique Animal Kingdom. Coming in a variety of Equine-like races. The majority of which were limited shapeshifters. Generally having three consistent forms. Which they could switch between at will, near instantaneously. • ● Forms: All inhabitants, of the Equuleus Star Cluster, have 3 basic forms. • Pony Form: Which, is a ponified creature. Usually some type of hybrid of another animal, or alien species. They are typically faster, and more durable (AKA, "Harder to Injure"). This form usually has some kind of "Racial Magic", which is typically a biological "super power" fuelled by magic. • Humanoid Form: Which mostly resembles an ordinary human, but with pastel colors to their skin and hair. This form can manifest traits of their pony form. Such as hooved legs, wings, horns, animal ears, etc. but these traits are retractable, being able to summon them, and dismiss them, at will. Adding temporary racial powers, when used, but at their absolute weakest This is the physically weakest form, and easiest to injure. However, they make up for that, in the versatility and power of their spell casting. Able to channel magic, with their whole body as the focus. While in this form, users can control the natural elements, and even combine them. Through channeling their magic and guiding it in very specific dance moves. • Anthro Form: Which is a bipedal version of their Feral Form. More rarely, they are similar to Centaurs, with 4 legs, but a humanoid upper body. And Sometimes they have very alien appearances. This form is physically stronger, with greater endurance, and superior durability. They have access to both their racial powers, and their humanoid powers, but to a much lesser degree then either. • ● Chaos Control: Equuleus are manifestations of both Chaos and Harmony. Well their primary three main transformations come from their Harmony magic. Their chaos magic allows them to add temporary boost to their power level. However, learning to tap into this can be painful, and even life threatening. • Transformation: By channeling their Chaos magic, all Equuleus have accessed to an almost Saiyan-like transformation. Though operating in a mixture of Kaio-ken and Super Saiyan (Both from Dragon Ball Z). Channeling their Chaos magic, triggers a slight physical transformation of their appearance. Although what those changes are varies from person to person. They are channeling chaos, after all, so it won't be universal, although the changes will usually stay consistent for the individual. Some Equuleus grow taller. Where others have their fur darken, or brighten, or even pale. Most gain a visible aura, but even that isn't always true. Some have their fur temporarily lengthen. This new appearance, remains consistent in their Pony, Humanoid, or Anthro forms. With their powers working exactly the same, only amplified. • Levels: This transformation increases their Strength, Speed, Senses, Durability, Chakra Production (giving them a greater power level), and even letting them think quicker. However, being chaos based, the increase in power varies from individual to individual. the "Levels" of increase go from 1, up to 99. But as said, the power level increases by an abstract number. A "Level 2" of "Chaos Control" can increase an Equuleus power as much as a "Level 99" of another individual. It really depends on how well they can absorb the chaos. Which actually has nothing to do with their physical limitations. • Permanent Chaos Control: While it is difficult, some Equuleus have learned how to channel chaos into them, permanently. Allowing them to temporarily withstand even higher levels. while maintaining the Lower levels with relative ease. • ● Biology: • Height: All Equuleus males are very small. With their taller forms (The Anthro and Humanoid forms) being between 3 and 5 feet tall. While the Females have those same forms, between 7 and 9 feet (usually standing around 8 feet). Then the pony form, of all sexes, stands about 2 feet shorter. • Innocent: All ponies, Equuleus included, have a stunted emotional range. With their brain structure being similar to dogs'... Although they have an Average IQ of 2000. They are impulsive, emotional, and have trouble with the social norms of other races. These are things they never grow out of. However an upside to having the emotional range of dogs, is they are capable of unconditional love. While the downside is a quick temper, and prone to acts of violence, when scared or annoyed. • Longevity: Equuleus age one year, for every ten Galactic Standard Cycles. Meaning it takes decades just to exit the "Toddler" stage. However, once they hit their Prime, they stop aging all together. Though they can still be killed. • Digestive System: Any chemicals not needed by the body, or any excess fats, are atomized instead of being stored or excreted. They are channelled into an organ near the stomach, where nuclear fission occurs, and is then converted into clean chakra. Which is channelled through the body, to be used as excess energy, and can even be used to fuel their powers and magic. ● Weaknesses: All Equuleus have their own strengths and weaknesses, but there are some universal weaknesses across this animal Kingdom. • High Metabolism: They require a large intake of food, in order to fuel their vast dependency on Chakra. As such, they are in constant danger of starving to death. They eat 7 times a day, of extremely large portions. If they miss one meal, they become fatigued. If they go a whole week, it's likely they would have starved to death, long before the week ended. This higher metabolism also makes it so they burn through potions quicker. Making them less effective. It also means They can't get drunk, although being buzzed is possible if they drink enough. • ● Reproduction: • 4 Sexes: Equuleus actually have four sexes: "Male", "Female", "Intersex" (AKA "Omnisex"), and "Alpha Male". While both males and females are rare, Having characteristics of both sexes is actually the norm for Equuleus. With most Intersex ponies, still thinking of themselves in terms of "she" or "her". Intersex ponies have a penis, instead of a clitoris. With a vigina under it, and internal testicles and ovaries. So they can still reproduce. Then there is the most rare "Alpha Male". Which can be more common in species like Griffins, Time Ponies, and Equuleus. These ponies are male, but usually the same size as Females, and have a vegina in place of an anus. While Alpha Males are often treated the same as males, they are more independent, rebellious, and more often then not, refuse to submit to females. Most even refusing to marry females, and entering the working world. While their are laws to prevent the discrimination of Alpha Males, they are often treated with disrespect by females and Intersex. • Reproductive Cycle: The Equuleus have a similar reproductive cycle to Asari (From Mass Effect). Taking a sample of the "Father's" magic, not their biology. Then incorporating that in an offspring. In the Equuleus' case, they can lay anywhere between 1 to 12 eggs. Depending on how much magic they absorb from the Father. And how magically powerful they attempt to make their offspring. This can leave the Father exhausted, and if done wrong, can even permanently kill the father. • Males: It was discovered that, drinking male sperm is surprisingly helpful for the pregnant mother's unlaid eggs. Those eggs, when frequently exposed, grow into healthier, smarter, and stronger hatchlings. They would even have greater magical reserves. It didn't really matter what the species of the male is, as that has no effect on the eggs. Nor does the offspring have their father's DNA, like with most species. Equuleus sperm acts more like a plant fertilizer, then what it was for other species. Needing frequent exposure, to act as extra nutrition for the eggs, before they were laid. The "Sperm" couldn't even be used to get someone pregnant, only help an already pregnant Equuleus. Even Alpha Males follow these rules. • ● Life Cycle: Equuleus have longevity, meaning they can't die of old age. However, they can still die. Though it is more an inconvenience for them. Few things can kill them permanently, though magical exhaustion falls into that domain. When a Equuleus dies, their chakra gathers together, and leaves their body. Taking their conciousness with it. These balls of Chakra are called "Wisp". Which is the reason magical exhaustion can permanently kill them. As they have no Chakra left to protect their soul, after death. They are able to appear as beings similar to Force Ghost. In order to communicate with the living. However, they are more vulnerable in that state. It takes Chakra to maintain, and can potentially kill them, permanently. Wisp can choose to reincarnate themselves, by entering an Egg in a Living Equuleus. Which doesn't require a father. Equuleus consider it a great honor for a Wisp to choose them, to reincarnate themselves. Even though it is considered rude for the Wisp to do so, without asking first, it is still treated as a sacred thing. And that the parent merely needs to work with the child on their manners. When the Former Wisp hatches, they maintain their original species, and even their coloring. Not actually taking anything from the mother besides their egg. The Former Wisp will have only a vague awareness of their past lives. Recalling key moments, but not the details. As they age, they will remember more and more of their lives. Which will fully unlock when they turn 300. There is a debate amongst scholars, about what matters more: Nature, Nurture, or Past Life. As to how the child will turn out. When in reality, it is a combination of all three. • ● Female Dominant Society: • Females: Females are rare, with only 1 in 6 eggs being female. Females tend to have a lot more Chakra and Spiritual Awareness. Due to this, Females are often seen as spiritual leaders, and Warrior priestess. Often being educated by the Church, and trained in military tactics and the finer points of running a government. Then growing up to be a combination of Priestesses, Warriors, Generals, and political leaders. Females are usually the head of their family, and more often then not, the ones voted into politics. • Males: Equuleus treat their males like a mix of beloved pets, and sex slaves. Enjoying pampering them, while denying them most rights. • Intersex: Since Intersex Equuleus are the most common, they are treated the most neutrally. With most having working level jobs. And most of the same rights as Females. • Alpha Males: Unlike Males, Alpha males have numerous laws, giving them equal rights to The Intersex. However, they are often treated as inferior. Which many resent, while many more are resigned to. • ● Government: All Equuleus are represented on a Senate, with a seat for every planetary governments. With Celestia and Luna acting as Chair-mares. While the planets were largely independent, the Senate controlled their military, and provide funding to protect all the planets. They have a military union, which set the budgets and passed the laws for their civilization. • ● Legal Privileges: Equuleus, even former wisp, start earning "Privileges" at 150, and slowly gain more and more legal privileges until they become rights at 300. This way children aren't forced to adjust too quickly to new responsibilities, and their parents can teach them how to adjust to these privileges. However, Males don't gain nearly as many Privileges as the other three sexes. • ● Equuleus Spell Casting: In humanoid and Anthro Form. • Elemental Bending: Most Equuleus can harness their magic, to allow them to control naturally occurring elements. However, most can't create that element. Not unless they have an affinity for it, with only 2 affinities. Some species of Equuleus, such as Unicorns and Equuleus, can create elements, but can't control those naturally occurring in nature. Different elements result in a different manifestation of powers. With those powers being similar to the children's shows "Avatar the Last Airbender" and "Naruto". These Elements Include: Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Lightning, Ether, Light, and Darkness. And largely work like the "Jutsus" or "bending" they are based on. Equuleus can learn Jutsus / Spells from most of these fields of magic. Lightning: Those who can convert their Magic into Electricity, can send out shocks or lightning. Ether: This allows them to directly tap into the most raw form of Magic (which is literally everywhere). Not the most elegant, but definitely the most destructive. It could be used to duplicate attacks from "Dragon Ball Z" and "Yu Yu Hakusho". Tactile Telekinesis: Can move objects, within 5 feet of themselves, with their mind. Masters of this power can levitate hundreds of items at once, and hundreds of tons. Those that specialized in this can learn to levitate things within 120 feet of themselves, but that takes a lot of Magic. However, a few legendary Equuleus can levitate anything within their natural level of sight, no matter how far away. These Equuleus can pull star ships out of the air, from their place on the ground. Even crush them. Barrier: Can create a shield of pure telekinetic energy. From around their bodies, to small walls. Darkness: Commanding darkness, and Similar to the shadows themselves. Like the Jutsus of the Nara clan (from Naruto) or Shadow Dancers from "Dungeons and Dragons". Shadow Dance: Which allows trained Equuleus to travel through shadows. To sink into them, into the realm of shadows, and move great distances. Spying on the real world from inside a shadow, and even able to move between them. Shadows work much like Portals to them. The better trained in this power can sink into the floor, entering the shadow realm without need of direct access to a shadow, and can move apart from them. Moving across surfaces as a shadow, with nothing casting it. Shade Form: Others can turn into a fog, made of shadows. Which can be used to make them temporarily invulnerable to anything but light and fire. Extra limbs: Some can train their shadow to move as if a separate limb. One they can stretch out to great distances. Although the shadows they manipulate, must be connected to their own shadow, in some way. A great weakness with this, is they can feel others touching their shadow. So it can be used to injure them. Masters of this power, and only masters, can even control their own shadow if they aren't touching it. Say, if they are at a great height, and their shadow is being cast at the ground below. Light: Bending light let's them create complicated illusions. Similar to the Illusion spells from Elder Scrolls. They can be used to create light, turning invisible, or just blending into their surroundings. • Combining Elements: This allows for more complicated spell casting. And can even create the combined elements they share an affinity with. Wind and Water: grants additional ice powers. Even traveling through Ice, as well Ice mirrors (like Haku from "Naruto") Water and Earth: Allows for plant manipulation. Able to grow plants instantly, from a mere seed, and control their movements. Earth and Fire: Can create or control lava based Jutsus. Water and Ether: Allows for something similar to "blood magic". They are able to control the bodies, and even the minds, of any creature with blood. Earth and Ether: Allows for individuals to have Magneto, from "X-Men", level magnetism powers. As well as Toph's "Metal bending" from "Avatar the last Airbender". And even the ability to forge metals together in seconds. Lightning and Ether: This allows for minor Technomancy, the control of electronics. Although doing so requires greater focus, then a natural born Technomancer. This also allows for momentary burst of super speed, mostly for charging forward. Light and Ether: This combination allows for two major abilities. A "Henge" works very similarly to a transformation Jutsu, from Naruto. As they don't gain the abilities of the creatures, or objects, they turn into. They can't alter their density, despite altering their weight and size. So they don't become stronger, weaker, or any more or less durable. They also maintain their level of Perception, even when in the form of something with no eyes or ears. They can also use these henges on others. Although they must initially touch what they change, their is no limit in how far away it can get. Illusionary Constructs: These act near independently, although in truth they are controlled by the user's own subconscious. Through that link, the clones transfer all information they gather, back to the original. Though only upon being dispelled, or destroyed. These constructs have no range limit, of how far they can venture from the original. This is largely based off the Naruto "Shadow Clone Jutsu". • ● Wands: Equuleus can learn wand based spells, like Harry Potter and other magics, however the style does not come naturally to them. So is far more difficult. Equuleus have a natural talent for magical crafts, which often causes them to build Techno Magic Wands, Similar to the Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver. Where they enchant a spell into it, to use at their discretion, without needing to be physically able to cast the spell. Of course, they do need to know the magical theories behind the spell, and the enchantment methods, combined with psychic programming skills. Many Equuleus believe all this is worth it, to not learn foreign, more difficult, magics. As well as the fact the techno magic wand requires far less Chakra to use, and can even be used in feral form. Some Equuleus even learn to cast their Jutsus through the wand, instead of learning the dance moves and finger positions. As it is easier, and takes less Chakra. However if such lazy scholars are disarmed, they lose the ability to cast spells, as they aren't schooled enough to know how to cast their spells the traditional way. • ● Fun Facts: What might be interesting to know, is Equuleus were not the only Sapient Lifeforms to evolve on Equus. Dragons, for instance, were already classified as "Entities", and so were less affected by the chaos magic. Although they have evolved in a more unique way, on this planet, then on other worlds. • ● CODEX: Galactic Standard Calendar. 1 Cycle = 3.6 Earth Years = 1090 Days = 12 Seasons. 1 Season = 8 or 9 Weeks. 1 Week = 10 Days. 1 Day = 33 Hours. 1 Hour = 100 Minutes. • • CODEX: Dragons. Dragons... weren't technically "Sapient" lifeforms. They were actually above that, better then that. Dragons were categorized as "Entities", one step below Celestials. Entities were so extremely long lived, they might as well be immortal. With most species capable of destroying planets, at the very least. However, What truly marked Entities, had nothing to do with their power level. Some Entities couldn't even glass a city. Where some beings, who could live for tens of thousands of years, and destroy galaxies with a thought, weren't true entities. No, what marked an entity was their ability to survive after death. Well they could all be killed, permanently, they were a lot harder to keep dead. Living planets were Entities, given they could just rebuild their puppet Avatars. Many breeds of Monster were Entities, given they just woke up in the underworld, when killed. Time Lords were entities, given they regenerate, as Phoenixes did. However, another mark of an entity, was how difficult it was for them to have children... Harmony's way of not overflowing the planets they lived on. Although "Dragons" was more a broad term, for a specific Animal-like Kingdom. They are the living manifestation of magic itself. As a result, they prefer to settle on magically heavy worlds, and typically have an aversion to technologies. Despite being one of the most intelligent, and magically powerful races, they are viewed by most as Monsters. Due to their large / frightening appearance, and primitive culture. Dragons also require a great deal of food to survive, which often results in them eating "merely sapient" lifeforms. As they view them as lesser then themselves. Obviously that doesn't help other races opinion that they are "Monsters". However, Dragons of the Equuleus Star Cluster, needn't lower themselves to eating intelligent lifeforms... or anything that was ever truly alive. As Thousands of years, before even the Two Sisters ruled over the ponies of Equestria, the dragons discovered what would become their home. A land of fire and brimstone, but most importantly, of sucker-like-fish. These fish spawned as Quickly as krill, but in even greater numbers, and could grow to be larger then blue whale. These fish lived inside the lava, eating it and breeding in it. These fish were, in reality, an evasive species. Brought to the planet Equus... for the strick purpose of feeding the dragons. The Dragon's credited their god "Bahamut"... who was, in reality, one of the Doctor's past regenerations. This new abundance of food, resulted in dragons having to rethink their entire culture... although dragons were stubborn things, and not quick to adapt. So far too many stuck to the old ways. As beings of pure magic, they rarely needed to change. As their magicks made it so they could live very comfortably. It used to be, due to limited food, dragons had to live in isolated areas. With few even choosing to raise their own children. Most dragons chose, instead, to pull their resources. Each species of Dragon, would lay their eggs in their own communal nest. Which was, in turn, looked after by a specific dragon, of that species. Often called a "Dragon Lord". Who acts as both Nanny, Teacher, and Ruler, to all the young dragons. Usually having an army of Kobolds, to help with this. Adult dragons would frequently send magical gems, and other foods, to the young ones. Generally, this was unnecessary, as the nests were settled in territories with an abundance of food. However, it was the Dragons way of showing they were thinking of their children. When dragons reach adulthood, they were expected to leave the nest, and find their own isolated patch of land to hunt in. This way they don't have to fight for resources. Although, thanks to the abundance of food, now in each Dragon Lords' territory, more adult dragons were permanently moving into those boarders. The ponies helped the Dragons set up a new system, for them to better adapt into their developing cities. Each dragon clan would "elect" their own leader. Which dragons decided to do, by having a series of challenges, to weed out those not strong, or smart, enough. Then have a fighting tournament, to decide who amongst the most qualified was truly the best. From there, these champions would not only rule over their clan, but sit on a Senate, which their Dragon Lord had to listen to. They could even veto the Lord's decisions, and were more involved in how the children were raised. Most Dragons were even adopting the practice of raising their own children. Which they found strangely rewarding, as any Dragon Lord can attest to. The adult dragons might have been largely isolated from each other, but even in the olden days, they still had a set of social norms, if not a few direct rules, taught to them by their Dragon Lord. Dragons even have an instinctive "hierarchy", they all subconsciously bow to. • • Codex: Dragon Hierarchy. • Eastern Dragons: Viewed as royalty, as they are the most magically powerful, and rarest of all dragon species. Every word spoken, is treated as an almost holy writ. • True Dragons: They are capable of traveling at Star Trek Style warp speeds, naturally. That is, without need of a star ship. They can survive the vacuum of space, and are near impervious to both hot and cold temperatures. From most important to least important: Platinum Dragons, Diamond Dragons, Gold Dragons, Silver Dragons, Black Dragons, White Dragons, Purple Dragons, Red Dragons, Blue Dragons, Copper Dragons, Bronze Dragons, Green Dragons, etc. These are the nobles of the Dragon Hierarchy. The more pronounce the color, the higher they are in the Hierarchy. With Metallic and Chronomatic dragons often butting heads, as they are from rival families. • Equus Dragons. The Warrior cast of dragons, based on MLP. They are used as the foot soldiers of the dragon hierarchy. The closest thing to "Police" dragons have. Though these dragons never naturally get bigger then 8 feet tall, they can temporarily alter their size to be even bigger then True dragons, or as small as an ant. They can use touch based spells, as well as turn matter into energy and store it in their internal flames (to be retrieved later). They also have an Alchemy breath, where they use their fire to transform something into something else (usually turning rocks into Lyrium Crystals for them to eat). They can also turn matter into energy, but instead of storing it, they can send it to someone they know. As well as have people send things to them, if they are aware of their magical signature. In addition, these dragons are separated by clan. With each clan having a different physical trait. (Based on a story by "Hope Caster" called "Our little Brother, Spike". I highly suggest you read it, the lore alone is incredible.) • Mythology Dragons: The working class dragons. These various dragon races are seen more as civilizations, with roles in society based on their race. Western Dragons, Wyvern Dragons, Aquatic Dragons, Furred Dragons, Serpent Dragons, Drakes, etc. • Lower Dragon Dragon races that are no more intelligent then Sapient toddlers. They are seen as sacred creatures, in need of protection and guidance. Night Fury, etc. (Various species from "How to Train Your Dragon") • Beast Dragons: various types of Draconic animals. Dragonne, Hydra, etc. • Dragon Anthro: Comes in all forms of Dragon. They have Sapient level intelligence, though still entities... Though they barely qualify. They are not as powerful as their larger counterparts. • Kobold: The "Servant Class" of dragons. Think house elves, if they were covered in scales. They enjoy catering to the needs of all other dragon species. However, unlike House Elves, they are treated well by their Dragon Masters. With a more symbiotic relationship. Like Pilot Fish, or the birds that clean the teeth of Crocodiles. • Part Dragon Subrace: As Dragons view sex with Sapients, in terms of bestiality, they hold no respect for the "Abominations" that union can create. Half Dragon, Draconic Sorcerer, Draconic Heritage. Chapter 2 - Dragon Season, Part 1; What's BecomeGabby flew over the rocky terrain, of the Dragon Lands. Her herd beside her. She was in her Anthro Form, despite her Griffin shape, probably being better suited to handle the hostile environment. Gabby just preferred her Anthro state. The ability to cast spells, even if they were more Elemental in nature, and not the reality warping of Unicorns... well it tickled her own nature. Yes, Gabby preferred being an Anthro. For the physical strength it gave, and the magical spell casting she dabbled in. A Equuleus's human form might have more powerful magics, but she preferred a combination of strength and magic. Plus the Anthro form was a more familiar shape. Griffins' original form might be even more familiar... but it didn't have access to their spell casting powers. Just their Sonic Shriek ability. Which the Anthro form had access to both, albeit to a lesser degree. • There were only slight changes to her Anthro form. With the largest being her spine. Which was naturally positioned so she had to walk on 2 legs. However, she could do that, in her Griffin form, anyway. It just felt more comfortable in her Anthro Form. She also had... rather obvious breast... Which she wasn't a fan of. Why does a bird need such ridiculously large breast? Griffin chicks don't even need milk! Her dick was even more obvious, though that might just be because she was walking upright. Like Ponies, Griffins had evolved to be mostly intersex. While they claimed to not be part of the Equuleus Animal Kingdom, their biology was nearly exactly the same. Their bodies appeared no different, then pegasi Sub-ponies... although Griffins had long denied any evolutionary connection to pony subraces. The Hippogriffs claimed the fact Griffins changed with them, was proof that Griffins were, in reality, a splinter race off Hippogriffs. Such a claim nearly caused a war. As Griffins are quite touchy that they were a completely separate species... even when the evidence was staring them in the face, they would rather kill the messenger, then tolerate the facts. Gabby was more open minded, but largely kept her opinions to herself. She didn't want to upset anyone, after all. Griffins, unlike ponies, put their rare males in positions of reverence, while females often worked as guards or hunters. The intersex population, who made up the vast majority of Griffins, were the blue collar workers, as well as handling manual labor. A good thing about these mutations, completely ignoring the fact Griffins were basically immortal now, was their spell casting abilities. That led to innovation, within Griffin culture, and with the ponies help, they were able to rebuild their society. Griffin Stone was a thriving empire now, having an entire Mega system, as their territory. • Regardless, the residents of Equuleus Star Cluster, were all nudist. While the other races tolerated it... even appreciated it... Gabby never could figure out why so many aliens, seemed to think the lack of clothing, was an invitation to stare at their private areas. That was just rude... even if most aliens, had their head at the perfect height for her cock. • Meanwhile, Thorax was walking on Spike's other side, opposite Gabby. And was nearly as big as Gabby... despite being a quadruped. He was absolutely HUGE!!! But that was a matter of course, with Royal Changelings. Changelings were the only Sapient creatures, whose form wasn't altered by Harmony. As, given their nature, they could already turn into anything they wanted. A Changeling's form, or rather their already flexible form, was deeply rooted into their magic. Just like how Griffins maintained their hoarding instincts. It was a powerful mutation of their magic. Harmony couldn't override that, without going too far into chaos. Changelings already branched off into hundreds of subspecies, back when they ascended into their "Reformed" State. They absorbed the magic, from the environment around them, and transformed into different species of bug horses. Hives such as the Forest-Lings, with wood branches and moss growing out of them. The Moth-Lings, who were very Fluffy and cute... whom held an obsession for lamps. With even more lings based on Crickets, Bees, Wasps, Spiders, Butterflies, and much more. Although, due to Chrysalis hive being so infused by dark magic, during the Changeling Civil War, they couldn't fully transform. Instead, when they finally did start sharing love, they mutated into something... a little different. Their holes were filled, and bodies became more colorful. However, they were darker colors, while they maintained their fangs. They grew hair for their mane and tails, even among the males. Though their hair remained thin, and almost web like in nature. These Changelings were called "Doppelgangers". • There are no longer any "Unreformed Changelings". However, when lings are starving, they regress to a similar appearance. If their species has hair, it falls out. While their body darkens to black, and holes develop in their legs. This started with Banished changelings, who had no hive to support them. However after a while, these Banished Lings began to group together. Unfortunately, Banished Lings had no love to share. As it is a punishment reserved only for the most irredeemable of villains... which may have been the undoing of the rest of Ling-kind. As these Banished Lings resorted to the old ways of harvesting love... by deception, manipulation, or even force. Often leaving their victim a heartless husk. But with no Queens amongst their numbers, these lings needed to find some other way to increase their population. Instead, they began to capture "reformed" changelings. Although it's been so long, they no longer think of themselves in those terms. As "Reformed" Changelings are the norm. These "banished" lings will drain all love out of a changeling, forcing them into their starving state... and making it impossible for them to feel love at all. These Banished hives have flourished in 5 billion years. Some even managing to kidnap royal changelings, to give them grubs born without mercy, pity, or even love. • Thorax was a "Fae Beetle". As were all the lings that came from him. As Royal Changelings laid eggs of their own subspecies. His little drones, his children, were far more spoiled then what Chrysalis had put Thorax through. Yes all still worked for the good of the hive, but their ability to share love had resulted in them becoming more self efficient. Each race of lings, still had Workers, Drones, and Warrior lings. With each breed having different characteristics, unique to both their station and species. However, no Queen had any use of infiltrators anymore. Those had been reassigned as "Cuddle Bugs". In order to spread love around to those who needed it. Unlike the olden days. When Newborn queens were forced from the nest. They now held the title of "Princess". Laying eggs for the Hive, and directly helping care for them. All Lings maintained their shapeshifting, though that was mostly used for playing games and defense now. They could change into near anything. From people, to inanimate objects, and even creatures that only existed in their imagination. With each race having their own quirks, with the occasional unique abilities beyond transformation magics. Most Changelings didn't have genders, unless they wanted to have specific parts... which they normally didn't have, given they couldn't reproduce or use the bathroom... or even need to drink. Anything they ate was atomized by their magical pathways. Only Queens could even get pregnant, and they reproduced asexually. Laying a dozen or so eggs, once a month, with no need of a father. What Harmony did give the Changelings, was the ability to become wisp, and a boost to their spell casting powers, but that's about it. The important thing was, both Gabby and Thorax were here, as they always were. • As For Spike himself, he was where he usually was, in between Gabby and Thorax... and feeling dwarfed by them. Equus Dragons were usually about the size of Anthro Griffins. Maybe a foot taller, on average, but Spike was a mere 5 feet. Poor nutrition, in his youth, stunted his growth. The ponies thought they could feed the baby dragon high protein plants, like tofu and beans, but what he needed was the left over magic, found in meat. The ponies learned this, after Smolder yelled at them. Spike had learned a lot about being a dragon, from Smolder. He learned Equus Dragons, were called "Equus Dragons". And that they were third in the hierarchy of the Dragon nation. Adult Equus Dragons naturally stand between 7 and 8 feet. Rarely smaller or bigger. Although they could change their size, to as big as a skyscraper, or as small as a flee. They could all breathe fire, and fly with their tiny wings. One in 100 eggs were female... to the point it was considered a genetic defect. The fact all Dragon males could get pregnant, helped this bigoted belief fester. Each clan had their own unique trait, a physical characteristic other Equus dragons didn't have. Such as Ember's tusk, gems in the scales, Smolder and Garble's stronger scales, sharper claws, blades on their tails... or in Spike's case... softer features and shorter bodies. So Spike actually had two reasons to be so short. All of them were a different trait, from a clan. With the Father's clan usually determining what the trait was. Although, sometimes, the whelp would be born with both parents' traits. Which they would then pass to their own children. And signify the beginning of a new clan. Like Smolder, who was actually a member of both Spike's own clan, and the "Ironscales" of her brother Garble. This meant she was smaller, and more beautiful, then most Equus Dragons, but with scales so hard, few things could penetrate her hide. Spike's clan was called "Curse Spewers", as it was believed they were Smarter, with spell casting coming easier to them. Although some argued that could be a cultural characteristic of their clan. It was notable that all Curse Spewers breathed green fire. Which was part of the belief of why their magic was superior. As it was a flame of pure, raw, magic. Curse Spewers were rare, with most of their eggs being female, they had trouble passing down their traits. Regardless, Smolder was recognized as nobility, for having both her parents traits... even if she didn't have the majestic green flame of a Curse Spewer... nor could she, naturally, pass down the traits she did have, due to her being female. The Zebric potion, to allow anyone to give birth to their own species, with just a drop of blood from the father... well, it made it so Smolder was able to lay enough eggs, to develop a proper clan of dragons. Previously, it was thought Smolder would have a purely ceremonial position. Which is why she was chosen to attend Twilight's school. To learn how to be Ambassador between their races... much like how Spike was selected to be the ponies own Ambassador to the dragons. Smolder, forming a herd with a bunch of nobles, from other races, helped her develop relations with those races... and originally had the dragons looking down on her, for mating with "Sapients"... which was eventually forgotten, as Harmony blessed the creatures of the Equus Cluster, as true entities. • Equus Dragons were different then "True Dragons". Who were second in command, in the Hierarchy. These are what creatures thought of, when "Dragons" came to mind. Powerful spell casters, as tall as mountains, with the strength to lift continents. Unlike Equus Dragons, These dragons coloring determined what clan they came from. As well as what type of element they could unleash with their breath attack (not just fire). While some clans mattered more then others. Such as the Black Dragons, the White Dragons, the Silver Dragons, and the Gold Dragons. Those were the most influential of their clans. There were fabled myths about "Platinum" Dragons, but such dragons supposedly went extinct, millions of years before Spike was hatched. At the very top of the Hierarchy, were the Eastern Dragons. Long reptiles, with 4 short legs. They could fly, without wings, and crush worlds with a passing thought. With some effort, they could destroy entire Star Clusters. Although they never would, for these dragons were known for their Wisdom and Mercy. Though rare, they were praised to the point of near worship, by all lower dragons. • A few miles away from Thorax's herd, Ocellus own herd was going exploring. Ocellus was a royal changeling, which is why she was sent to The School of Friendship. After all, it started as a place for nobles of all races, to come together, and learn about Friendship. She wasn't even the only changeling princess sent to Twilight's school, at the time. Although she was where the traditions of keeping all royal lings, at their birth hive, came from. Most of the hooved races had gone to the School of Friendship. As they took up the majority of the Sapient population. They might not have all evolved from ponies, but they had originated as the same Equine species. Which branched out into several other races. Yaks, Deer, Buffalo, Giraffes, Donkeys, Goats, and Cows. These races were apparently close enough to Ponies, that Harmony Magics had the same effect on them. Before the Tree of Harmony was destroyed, however, plans were in motion to get all races together. Not just the various sub-ponies, and their evolutionary cousins, but Dragons, Minotaurs, and Beast Folk as well. The goal was to get all the races together. And to learn to love and tolerate each other. To even go so far to build friendships with between other races... this lead to the unforeseeable inevitability, of different races joining into pony herds. Herds might not be mandatory, but ponies were instinctively polyamorous, and preferred marrying multiple partners... usually to share the same male, but their were no laws saying it had to be that way... mostly so gay Stallions could marry, and not be forced to include females. Nowadays, gay Stallions were put into the care of farms, So their sperm could be harvested, and sold as a popular drink. Although they were allowed to still be gay with each other, even marry, they were watched over by the Farm hands. Or gay Stallions would be married off, to a herd of mares, anyway. But that's beside the point. Ocellus, and the rest of their friends, agreed to form a herd of their own... to protect their male friends. That took nearly a billion years to realize the necessity. Author's Note ● Notes: • Hippogriffs and Seaponies are two different races. As such Terramar is not Silverstream's brother, but rather a Seapony that is part of the Student 6 group, now the Student 7. • The Mane 6 were not Teachers, at the School of Friendship. Rather they were occasional Guest Speakers, and over saw Field trips. Twilight was the headmare, and the school was her dream. The rest of the Mane 6 helped when they could, but they do have lives of their own. • Teachers included OCs from all races. While the Background 6 made up the pony staff members. This was before Clockwork opened the Fog Watch, and became the Doctor again. As he and Derpy were working at this school, and how they befriended the others of the Background 6. Including: Lyra, Bon Bon, Octavia, and Vinyl Scratch. Chapter 3 - Ponies of Starfleet, Part 2; UnrulinessAuthor's Note Edited: June 2022 Fixed the name of what the pony evolution is called. Chapter 3 - Ponies of Starfleet, Part 2; Unruliness Celestia... was not an Alicorn. True, she looked like an Alicorn, had the powers of an Alicorn, even aged like an Alicorn... but it was merely a perfect puppet. Her true body was the small star, orbiting Equus. Orbiting because she was consciously moving around the planet. The Doctor had saved her, as he did her sister, who was now the world's moon. They were merely the first of the Refugees, the deity had brought here. She was called a "Celestial", by lifeforms that mistook her for Divine. Though truth was, she was merely a living planet. Her power was limited, though vast. She was a giant brain, which encased itself in rock. And, unlike her ponies, she would one day die. True, she had another 15 billion years left in her, but she would die. Not even stars live forever. That didn't particularly trouble her. She was young, by planet standards. Not even having entered middle age. The thought of death was far from her mind... What did trouble her, was her ponies. She was always fascinated by them. Though now, thanks to the destruction of the tree of Harmony, they had been transformed into true entities. Balance must be maintained, and so Harmony worked overtime. Just as Discord was born, when the tree was planted, the trees destruction caused the creation of a new race of Harmony... and chaos. It was nice, not having to watch any of them die of old age. She must admit, she's gotten spoiled by it. For the past 4 billion years. She had taken to staying on her sun, like she is supposed to, whenever she needs to recharge her Cosmic powers. It used to be, that she refused to stay on her sun at all. So her puppet body would grow weak. However, now that she knew that her ponies would still be here, when she returned, she was better about staying on her sun, for the 7 years she needed to. During those times, she would direct the Council of Equus Races, by video chat... The Extra-net was another reason she didn't struggle, being apart from her ponies. As she could speak with them, even play videogames with them, whenever the mood struck her. If she wanted physical company, her ponies would come visit her. As they could now survive walking on the surface of her sun. Besides, the Drakehooves had long since built cities on the surface of her sun. They might be half pony, but that hardly mattered. They shared a pony's innocence and wonder. Their curious nature, and drive to see good in everyone. They were everything Celestia loved about ponies. While Celestia's former apprentice, handled the bureaucracy of pony government... and the Drakehooves ruled over themselves. Celestia saw to matters of defense. But with how peaceful all Equuleus were, she rarely had anything to do. which was, in part, why she Contacted Starfleet. Thankfully, Celestia recently began her cycle, where she could step away from her sun without issue. So she had 42 years to set her plans in motion. • • Later, in The Pony Embassy, at the Rift: This place was amazing. Picard couldn't help but marvel, at every window he passed. Just outside, was the void of space, somehow filled with air, and radiation filters. Even a touch of friction, to control movement. An entire asteroid belt, was sculpted into billions of large islands. Each with Earth norm gravity, and a large building... that was bigger on the inside then the outside. Picard was having trouble keeping his mind on task. The sheer impossibility of this place. So when Picard finally reached the doors to the throne room, he was truly unprepared. He was doing his best not to blush, as he walked into the throne room. Before him were two Equuleus females. Both were tall, even by their own species standards, with flowing hair (in a quite literal sense). One was covered in dark blue fur, while the other was whiter then snow. Well he believed he prepared himself nothing could have readied him for their appearance. They were just so gorgeous and shameless. They were one of the few races that believe... clothing was... optional. It helped they didn't have any obvious breast and were covered in fur, but there was still the nagging feeling that they were naked, save for a few pieces of jewelry... they also had very visible nipples going down their stomach and Picard could see even more... personal parts on display. "Princess Celestia," Picard bowed to the white matriarch. Then to the blue one, "Princess Luna." making sure to address them as "Princess". According to his mission briefing, the Equuleus had an aversion to Queens. There past was filled by dictators which used such titles. "I would like to introduce-" however he was cut off. "Lady Picard," Luna looked at Dianna. "Perhaps we can skip the formalities and move onto business." Picard felt he should finish his sentence. "-My counselor, Dianna Troi. I am Jean Luc Picard, Admiral of the Alliance Star-" "YOU'RE the captain of your nation's Flagship!" Luna gaped. "Loo Loo," Celestia chided, "We went over this. It is common for lower animals to have males that are not only as strong, but often stronger then their females. It is perfectly logical most species would evolve to allow their males in more dangerous positions." "Seems like just another unruly Stallion to me," Luna's eyes traveled down to Picard's crotch. It took everything Picard had not to cover his erection. Which was far too obvious due to his skin tight uniform. That might very well be how she identified him as male. As there species was far too different to determine that by facial features. Dianna spoke up, "Admiral Picard has my full confidence. He has been one of the best Captain's in Starfleet's history. And an even greater Admiral. He led us to many victories against technologically superior foes, and negotiated peace between thousands of worlds. Perhaps because of his 'unruly' tendencies." Luna seemed pacified by this, "Still, it would have been nice if Starfleet took our interests in joining them more seriously." "Your highness." Picard gave a slight bow, "As I was trying to say, I am the commanding officer of the Alliance Flagship, the USS Enterprise. And 4 star Admiral within Starfleet itself." "My presence here was meant to show Starfleet's utmost appreciation towards your proposal." Picard managed to say the next thing without blushing, "I apologize for my unruliness in your presence." Celestia waved off, "It is just part of our Alicorn magic." Picard did his best not to react to the word "magic". From the debriefing he got, he understood that Equuleus had a detailed understanding of the science behind their abilities. They just favored... 'traditional' terminology for them. "How's that work?" Picard couldn't stop himself from asking. "Since you are not true Alicorns?" Picard had heard, in his briefing, that it had been confirmed the two sisters were some kind of living planets. Much like the living nebulas, Starfleet had encountered. Celestia smiled, a patient grin one might give a nosy child. "No, we might not be Alicorns, but these bodies are. We even modified them, to better fit in with the creatures the Equuleus have evolved into. I must say, I find the hands useful." she looked at her flawless hand. The living star continued, "Due to the Alicorn biology, these bodies grow taller, and more beautiful, the older we become. There are few males, of any species, who would not become 'unruly' in our presence. Rest assured, Captain, we do not hold it against you." Picard stood straighter. Trying not to take offense at their refusal to acknowledge his "Admiral" status. "Then perhaps we could move on? Starfleet is very interested in your offer of an exchange program between our fleets." Celestia smiled, "We like the idea of learning more about this new galaxy, with your aid." As their entire Star Cluster, as well as every solar system in this galaxy, had been artificially moved to this corner of space. Luna added, "Though, seeing as our magic makes Anthros immune to Borg nanites, it is a toss up who is getting the better deal here." Picard didn't raise to the bait. • "Thy colt may explain," Luna addressed Dianna. "If thou art unwilling. What woulds we gain from this union?" Picard pulled down at the hem of his shirt, as he often did... for no reason related to "unruliness". Though he failed to stop himself from blushing, as Princess Luna scuffed, dismissively, at his unconscious habit. No doubt interpreting the gesture as "immature". Despite this, Picard tried to maintain his dignity, as he spoke. "Currently, the Alien Alliance uses many programs from the humanoids. As well as we have adopted their currency. However, alien worlds recieve only table scraps. "The Alliance wishes to emulate the humans, and maintain their universal currency. However, we need to unite our worlds, to better share our resources." Luna scuffed, "Art worlds are plentiful. We hast no need to share resources. If Thou wish to trade, thou my buy art goods. The Terran Empire may seek to stop trading with us, if We show favoritism to a rival government." "You know full well sister," Thankfully Celestia spoke. "The humanoids have far too desperate a need for our Crystals. They will not stop trading with us. And our involvement, with the Alien Alliance, may result in the humans opening greater means of trade, with them." • Once the initial talks were over, Picard returned to his ship with Dianna. Desperately wanting to groan. He had done little to convince Luna away from her position. If anything, Celestia did most of the convincing... which also fell on deft ears. "Their motives are sincere." The woman explained once they were in private. "Princess Celestia honestly just wants this exchange program to improve relations with the rest of the galaxy. I sense that she may wish to use this cultural exchange, as a way to convince her people, that we are not savages for putting males in dangerous positions." Picard sighed, "You don't have to be an empath to sense her sister disagrees." Said Empath smiled, Dianna found all this rather amusing. "She would definitely get along with the natives of Angel 1. Although Princess Luna might not have showed it very well, she was speaking from a place of genuine concern for your well being. "Your... 'unruliness'," Dianna couldn't help but chuckle while Picard groaned, "Seemed to confirm her suspicions that human males lacked the proper levels of self control, to be left to handle possibly dangerous situations. "She also had a very hard time grasping, that females are not the dominant sex, everywhere in the galaxy. I can't imagine what would happen, if the Equuleus ran into the Ferengi." Who had already joined the Alliance. Picard groaned more. He, inadvertantly, just made all human males look unsuitable for leadership roles. In extension he made all Federation females seem callus in "their duty towards males". Starfleet should have at least sent a female ambassador to accompany him. Perhaps even a female Admiral. All Picard could do was groan. Males, on this planet, were legitimately small and weak. With very short attention spans and an almost childlike innocence. Though those last ones were likely a result of cultural gender norms, rather then genetics. Regardless, with how sheltered and physically frail Equuleus males were, they legitimately did need the females to look after them. They couldn't protect themselves from the more dangerous predators, on their native planets, and had no ambition to leave the care of their females. There was no call for social change, as males legitimately liked their place of lazying about, and playing adventure board games, with no desire to actually go on an adventure, as the females were known to. The Federation had researched the Anthros in detail, as they normally do, for years before first contact. During that time the males showed a legitimate happiness and gratitude towards their female masters. Celestia was the chairman of the Equuleus Senate, and could thereby make decisions for their space fairing fleet. Still, it was widely known that she relied heavily on Luna. If Picard couldn't convince Luna that the majority of males weren't as helpless as those of their own species... then there was no hope of the Anthros actually going through with their own proposal... "Why do you never listen to my advice!?" Luna glared, "I'm telling you. This is too big for the Senate not to be allowed a vote!" Celestia rolled her eyes, "As chairmare I can make any military decisions on my own. Besides, it's not like I'm declaring war on anypony. It's an exchange program." "What do you think the Alliance is," Luna exclaimed, completely exacerbated. "They are clearly gathering together, to strike out at their oppressors!" Celestia studied her sister a moment, "I don't believe that. I truly believe, they just want to thrive, as the humans do. They don't wish to threaten anyone, they just want stability... and if this exchange program goes well. I will see they get it." • • CODEX: The Terran Empire. A Utopia, focusing on the well being of all humanoid species. Where each species was given seats on a Senate, a seat for each planet under that race's rule. Here, all health care is free, along with housing, and a monthly grocery allowance, as well as a separate toiletry allowance. All necessities are free. With money being used purely for luxuries. This is thanks to the electronic currency, all humanoid governments agreed to. So money can be created as needed, by the government. So all necessary workers can be paid indefinitely, depending purely on how much they accomplished, and how many hours they work. Chapter 4 - Send in the Clones, Part 1; BirthSomething has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter.Chapter 5 - Mouthy, Part 1; Preparations, Part 1Time Turner was a barely grown, adult, Stallion. As he died a few centuries ago. As Time Ponies age 1 year, for every 42. By the human calendar, that is. However, when he asked the Doctor if he could reincarnate himself, through him. He was shocked the Stallion said, "sure, why not, Ditzy was talking about having kids again." It was just such perfect timing. Even for a Time Pony. Time Turner slowly gained a few younger siblings. Such as: Neon Surgeon, Crescent Moon, Minuette, and Of course, the youngest of them all, who's party this was for... Mouthy. • Daddy Doctor, always married them off, the second they came of age. He kinda had to... given his wife, Derpy, felt the boys needed the protections of a mare. Time Ponies really didn't work like that, but it put Mama Derpy's mind at ease. But Mouthy wasn't a Time Pony. Rather he was a Lunar Vulpony. Whom, were rather similar to time Ponies, in the sense they were mostly males, who laid eggs. Where S'mouth was the strongest of the Smart Mouth Clones, Mouthy was the weakest. Being able to destroy a small building, at most. In comparison to his siblings, who were all planet busters, even in their base form. The kid had died, some 180 years ago. Obviously he didn't stay a wisp very long, which was strange. Most enjoy the experience for a few hundred years, before growing bored, and reincarnating themselves. Mouthy hadn't even been a Wisp for a day, before finding Doctor Whooves, and asking to be his egg. A few weeks ago, Mouthy had turned the equivalent of an 18 year old human. Which was around the age The Doctor married off the other boys. With how slowly they mature, it was important to marry them off as early as possible. • • In the Doctor's TARDIS. "Dad..." Mouthy was blushing and squirming, as he often does. While Time Turner watched his god skillfully prepare the boy, without missing a beat. Getting him into a nice suit top, while floating brushes groomed the Colt Kit's bare legs, and floofy fox tail. "Can't... can't you talk to mom... I... I don't want to go..." The Doctor chuckled, "Bit late for that." Next, he brushed his son's hair. The foal begged, "Come on! I don't even know these ponies!" The Doctor sighed, "We like to let our offspring do their own thing, after they come of age. That way they can have a wider view of the universe. You can always come back in your next life, if you choose. You just have cold feet. You'll love your new herd. You'll even have other boys, to keep you company. You'll love it." The Doctor insisted. Mouthy frowned, "They have all been friends for thousands of lifetimes... I'll be the odd pony out..." he expressed his concern. "Think of it this way. Your new wives are taking their family, and joining Starfleet as part of that exchange program. You'll still be living as a Spacer, but now you'll be on a proper exploration vessel. Your wives might even let you help the Engineers, or the scientists?" Mouthy sighed. "What's your Hive Mind think of this?" The Doctor asked, getting Time Turner to squirming. The Time Pony didn't like being reminded, that whenever he was around Mouthy, he was actually being observed by a baker's dozen people. Mouthy sighed more, "They're just teasing the Tartarus out of me." The Doctor stiffened, before glaring. Making mental contact with Mouthy, and thereby the Hive Mind. "If you brats don't stop this instant, I'm coming straight over to your wannabe TARDIS, and taking these brushes to each of your hides. I don't care how old you are." There were immediate apologies, from the link, and The Doctor went back to getting Mouthy ready. Although he kept the link open, to make sure the other's wouldn't go back to teasing the, unusually shy, Smart Mouth. The boy was in his Anthro form, to be extra tall, but his head only barely came up to the Doctor's waist. Being exactly 3 foot 5, even in his tallest form. A few moments passed in an awkward silence. As was to happen, when the Doctor threatened to spank his children. Unfortunately, Mouthy re-gathered his courage. And Started whining again. "Can't I stay with you?" he begged. The Doctor smiled, touched by the sentiment, however, "You can't spend all your lives in a bubble. You need to experience new things, and new places." "Can't I at least go back to my own TARDIS?" Mouthy tried to find an out. "You know how CRAZY girls can get!!!" He wailed. "It's important you experience the worlds you are protecting." The Doctor was unmoved. "One lifetime, bonding with a regular family, won't kill you. Who knows. You might even want to go back to them, for your next life." Equuleus might be hard to kill, but all of the Smart Mouth's had died at various points, in 5 billion years. Even S'mouth, and the original Smart Mouth... it happened, especially when they used their Super Necro form, for too long... but they always turned to the Doctor. Although he normally raised them, until they were 300, and then let them go back to the Misfits' TARDIS Caravan. This was the first time he was marrying one of them off... which made the others nervous. None of them wanted to go through, all the weird things Equuleus did to their males. But Derpy insisted it wouldn't be fair, if the Time Ponies were married off, and Mouthy wasn't. Plus, she had argued about how the Misfits were starting to get disconnected, from this new Galaxy they were in. At least one of them needed to spend some time away from their TARDIS, and actually live in the real world. With Mouthy's temperament, and inclination towards obedience, he was the best choice. • Once the boy was properly dressed, The Doctor smiled. "There, now your ready. Be good for your wives, and play nice with the other boys." he ordered. "Who knows, you might even enjoy yourself." Mouthy sighed, highly doubting he'd enjoy this at all. He felt like he was being banished, rather then gaining a bigger family... still he was a dutiful son, and would go through with the marriage. Chapter 7 - Mouthy, Part 2; A Painful WeddingAfter the Doctor returned, from his trip to the Misfits TARDIS, The hive mind was no longer mocking Mouthy. Too Distracted by their own worry, and misery. At least they weren't being forced to marry. As the Doctor wanted each of the clones to have a unique experience. All the clones were worrying about their future, while all the Theta shards were dreading losing their companions... yet, like all children of the Doctor, they would do what he said. • • At The Church: Regardless, Mouthy squirmed as his family filed in. Not at all happy they would be present. Mouthy was blushing so much. Having to run a bit to keep up with his mother's long legs. It made the whole thing even more embarrassing. Everyone in the church was looking at him, as he walked down the aisle... on a leash, His new wives insisted on a Modern wedding. Once they reached the Priestess, Derpy handed the leash over to the alpha mare of the herd. She was a yellow Earth pony, with bright red hair, the color of a Rose... this was Mouthy's first time actually meeting her... and he hadn't expected the mare to be so... athletic. She definitely looked like an Earth pony, being a wall of muscles. • "Do you Applebloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo, promised to love, cherish, and protect the newest addition to your herd?" Asked the Priestess, a beautiful unicorn mare. Skipping over any formality humans go through, at the beginning of their wedding... Ponies did something... a little different, for Modern weddings. There was a round of "I do," from the young mares. They couldn't be more then 20 themselves. Yet they were supposed to take care of him and 3 other boys? 4 now. Many mares were jealous, given most herds were lucky to get one male, in their care. Thankfully, the Priestess wasn't jealous, more impressed. Turning towards the long row of husbands, on the other side of Mouthy, she smiled at them. Like Mouthy, they were dressed in the top half of a tuxedo suit. With bare legs on display... with only a diaper for modesty. Unlike females, male Anthros were kept in clothes.. mostly so they wouldn't be distracting females, with their often erect privates. Males typically wore short robes, tunics, or a more casual t-shirt to cover their nipples... which for some reason was considered obscene, for males to show, but not females. Their legs were nearly always bare, and a diaper was nearly always on their rump. Maybe a chastity cage on their genitals. If they had unacceptable levels of self control. Males weren't allowed to use toilets. Due to past males ruining it for every creature, by continuously peeing on the seat. Nowadays, mothers didn't even bother potty training their sons. • Mouthy's new husbands... which in all honesty he was more interested in. Were a lot more eager about having a new member. There was a dark brown Earth Pony, with an orange main, and a D-pad for a cutie mark, proudly visible on his naked thigh. Smart Mouth explained, through their mental link, he used to serve with these boys, in the Equus Interplanetary fleet... before male Equuleus were fully corrupted by chaos and Harmony magic. Making them small and weak, and in need of protection. The Stallion might very well be 24 cycles, but he still looked very young, thanks to his small size, shorter then even Mouthy. Although he had the shoulders, and square muzzle, of an adult Stallion. His name was Button Mash, and Smart Mouth, through their mental link, was demanding Mouthy avenge some lost videogame score. Which Button claimed when they were foals. Smart Mouth was probably just being silly, to ease Mouthy's nerves. Then their was Rumble. A grey Pegasus, with an athletic build, that stood at an impressive 4 foot 5. A full foot taller than Mouthy. The Pegasus wore a cocky grin, and a haircut that screamed "I'm so cool". He had a cooking cutie mark, a good mark for a husband. He too, had served with Smart Mouth... and Mouthy was starting to worry, they might not know the difference between the Colt kits. Then there was Tender Taps. Who, remarkably, didn't serve with Smart Mouth. The Stallion was definitely a "pretty colt", with his slightly thinner muzzle, and wavy purple mane, complemented by a dark orange coat. He had a spotlight cutie mark... and Mouthy had actually heard of him. He was a Galactic-Wide famous dancer. • Oops, the Priestess was talking to the boys, better stop admiring them and pay attention. "Do you boys promise to love and tolerate your new spouse? And not get him into too much mischief?" the crowd chuckled at her added comment. Tender Taps and Rumble assured, "I do." While Button Mash promised, "We'll try our best." getting an outright laugh from the crowd. The Priestess smiled at Button Mash... obviously tempted to break the ceremony to pinch his adorkable cheeks. However she retained her composure. Looking at Mouthy, "Do you swear to love, honor, and obey your wives? While showing love and tolerance to your husbands." "I do." Mouthy made himself stand extra straight. He would be lying if he said he wasn't tempted to scream "No." But he had too much respect for his mom not to honor her wishes. These were very important fillies she found, to take him in, and he needed to be grateful. "Then present yourself to your wives." The priestess smiled. Mouthy blushed, and turned to face the mares, in their pretty white dresses. All eyes were on him, expectantly. He bowed well asking, "Please take care of me and protect me." The mares all promised, "We will." Mouthy gulped as he said the next part. This was really going to suck, but this was a Modern ceremony, and he would get in ACTUAL trouble if he broke from the script. "I submit myself to your will." Applebloom stepped forward, "I accept your offer." she seemed just as nervous, as she began undoing his tie. Then unbuttoning his shirt. Her shaky fingers became more confident as they slowly went down his dress shirt. Once she got the clothes undone, she gently pulled them off, and handed them to the priestess. Finally leaving him in nothing but a diaper. Unfortunately that too was removed. It made loud crinkling sounds, as she undid the taps, and through it away in a nearby bin. Once that was done, and the boy was completely naked, She gently picked Mouthy up and tucked him under her arm. The boy did his best not to struggle. He just gulped and prepared himself, hugging his fluffy tail, so it wasn't in the way. All the same, he gave a cry as a hand came down on his rump. He tried to be still but the hand wasn't holding back. It struck him again and again while he cried and promised to "Be Good"... He still had two other mares he had to do this for... marriage was definitely hard work. • Mouthy sobbed right from the start. Females only spank boys 'til they cry... unfortunately they seemed to instinctively recognize "Crocodile Tears". Applebloom wasn't going to stop until the colt's hide was glowing. Not only to cement, in the boy's mind, who was in charge... but to prove to her loved one's she was worthy of having another boy. • Mouthy gasped, as the hand came down on him. Again and again, it fell. The large hand of the giant mare, was easily covering his toddler sized butt. He considered switching to his pony form, to give himself greater durability... but that be suicide. They agreed to do this in Anthro form, strictly because Mama Derpy knew how he prefered such a form. This was technically a break from tradition, the Alpha mare had made, to make him happy. It just be asking for trouble, to break it. • Mouthy yelped, his wandering mind not able to protect him from the pain. He began to squirm, even kick, yet the hand never stopped. He slowly felt the pain increase, though he knew that Illusion was just from his bruising flesh. "Stop!" Mouthy couldn't contain himself. "Pleeeze stop," he begged. "I'll be good, and listen, and-and..." he trailed off as the chuckling from the crowd distracted him. He would find no sympathy here. Ponies viewed males as lesser. So there would be no salvation... this was his life now. To be beaten at his wife's whim, and have his pleas laughed at. He began sobbing real tears, and not just from the beating. Suddenly, it stopped. "Hey," Applebloom immediately notice, these weren't the type of tears she expected, from a spanking. She had 5 Billion years of experience, and could easily tell the difference. This was a whole hearted cry of despair... for seemingly no reason. At least not one she could understand. Adjusting her newest charge, so she was hugging him to her chest. She attempted to calm him, and find out what's the matter. "It's alright, you're all right." She gently rubbed his back. Sweetie Belle pressed her muzzle against his own, nuzzling him well petting his hair. The crowd was dawww'ing now. "What's wrong little guy?" Scootaloo asked, "We just got started." She always was fairly tactless. Especially before she turned 30, as her memories weren't totally back yet. As expected, Mouthy cried harder at Scootaloo's words. The flightless Pegasus flinched, at least being able to recognize when she said something wrong. Sighing, Scootaloo looked to her Alpha mare, "Maybe a Modern wedding is too much for the little guy?" she advised. Applebloom sighed, so much for proving herself, in front of her family. Glancing at the concerned priestess. "I think we'll skip the rest of that part. He obviously understands who's in charge. Right, little man?" Mouthy quickly nodded his head, the sensation against her breast, a familiar one. Even the tears, ruining the wedding dress, was hardly the first time. The boy was still sobbing... but at least he was clinging to her, for comfort. Whatever was wrong, this gave hope that he would eventually confide in her. • After the ceremony, as the crowd made their way to the hotel, for the reception, the Doctor caught up with the herd, just before they left. The Doctor might be male, but he was still well respected. Given he hadn't "Evolved" as the pony males had. After all, he wasn't actually a pony, just looked like one. His pony form was even as tall as a mare's. "Sorry the wedding didn't go as planned," Sighed the Doctor. "As I tried to explain before. Mouthy spent the last few billion years, travelling my Refugee worlds. He's used to a... different kind of culture. A Modern lifestyle is just too much for him." Applebloom nodded, "Dotcha worry, Doc. We'll take good care of him." She promised. Sweetie Belle added, "He'll be eased into how we do things." Scootaloo huffed, "Just don't expect us to spoil him." Rumble gave her a cheeky smile, "Aren't you always complaining about how we're spoiled? Whose fault do you think that is?" "Sweetie Belle's," Scootaloo answered instantly. The rest of the herd snickered. Leaving the Pegasus mare to pout... but at least Mouthy stopped crying. Chapter 6 - Send in the Clones, Part 2; Leaving the Nest• Present Day, The Terran Galaxy: Elder Smart Mouth sat in his quarters, watching the daily broadcast. He was called "Elder" by his caravan, but he looked young. It actually be easy to mistake him for a child. At least at first glance. On careful inspection, one could see his broadened shoulders, and the strong features that only came with adulthood. Then there were his eyes. They were ancient eyes, older then the Galaxy itself. Which wasn't hard, with this Galaxy. He was part of the "Misfits" caravan, traveling in a more limited TARDIS, as wandering adventurers. Accompanied only by his closest friends, and their families. Oh he had a few of his own descendants, living here as well, but they tended to treat him with a bit more reverence then he prefered. "Honorable Demon-Born," that was just one of his titles, though favored by the Clone who spoke it. The boy... no, he wasn't a boy anymore. He was a grown Stallion. He was even a good deal taller then Smart Mouth. Well... at least he was while channeling his chaos magic. • Equuleus were creatures of both Harmony and Chaos. With their 3 main transformations (Pony, Humanoid, and Anthro) coming from their Harmony magic. However, they also had "Chaos Forms", which acted like a combination of Kaio-ken and Super Saiyan (Both from Dragon Ball Z). These transformation increased their Strength, Speed, Senses, Durability, Chakra Production (giving them a greater power level), and even letting them think quicker. Being able to increase their abilities in small increments, to up to 1000% of their normal limits. With their body becoming more strained, with the more chaos they channelled. Channeling their Chaos magic, triggered a slight physical transformation as well. While it is difficult, some Equuleus have learned how to channel chaos into them, permanently. Allowing them to temporarily withstand even higher levels. while maintaining the Lower levels with relative ease. Most of his clones had learned how to do this. Although it was more so they could look different, then channel the power that came with it. • The clone before him, looked far more majestic then Smart Mouth... partly because they were constantly channeling their "Chaos Form", which came out in different ways, even among the clones. Although all their base forms all looked alike, their obvious differences through their chaos forms, cemented their unique souls. Lunar Vulponies had an Additional form, Called "Super Necro" which channelled their Necromancy magics, to it's extreme. • Smart'tholomew was currently the size of a great dane, while in pony form. Even if his base form was no bigger then a fox. While his humanoid, and Anthro, base forms stood at a mere 3 foot 5, like most Lunar Vulponies. He had a bright white coat, natural orange highlights all over his body, and an orange face over his white muzzle... looking much like an orange Domino mask. The bones of his white wings were orange. As were his paws and hooves. With black pads, nose, and mane. Each of his eyes were a crystal blue, with large green flecks. As all Lunars had two toned eyes. Everything about him screamed "Look how regal I am!!!" with him unfortunately behaving like the noble he was. "Look at you," Smart Mouth smiled at his clone... his son. "It seems like only yesterday you were playing in the Garden." The majestic Colt Kit, gave a not so majestic blush. "Yeah, it's pretty nuts." Entered a black and orange clone, just as tall as his brother... and looking just as regal. His color patterns were even largely the same, except the white was replaced with black. Although his name didn't exactly match, being called "Fluff Butt" and all. He also had a bit of an attitude problem, from hanging out with Dilbert too much. Unlike his brother, this foxy pony wore a cocky grin. Although the natural position of his eyes, made it look like he was glaring at everything. "You were told to wait outside," Eyed the white one. "You realize, We're the same rank." Now the black one gave a true glare. Looking far more intimating then his brother. "Children," The oldest gave a sigh. "I chose you as my primary Assistants, because of your maturity and level headedness." Both Colt Kits blushed, and looked down at the ground, guiltily. Like all ponies, Lunar Vulponies had fairly immature personalities. They tended to act more like over excitable canines. They had the emotional range of dogs, despite normally having IQs of 2000. Their limited emotional range, made it so gods of death had rules about not sending "bad" ponies, into hell dimensions. As for Ponies, even the bad apples were far too innocent to truly understand any wrongs they did. "Smart'tholomew," Smart Mouth looked to the white one. "Seeing as, unlike Fluffy," nodding briefly at the black one... with a refusal to call him "Butt". Smart Mouth continued, "You don't often see me just to chat, I take it you had a reason to enter my quarters." Smart'tholomew blushed even deeper, realizing he was being indirectly scolded for not visiting as much as he should. The Demon-Born was basically the father of their entire race... and he tended to act like it. • Regardless, Smart'tholomew managed to deliver his message. "Just wanted to tell you, The Doctor is here to see you." Smart Mouth blinked, "Send him in." "Already here!" A brown Stallion, with an hour glass cutie mark, stepped into the room. Having obviously waited just out of sight, behind the door. The ancient colt kit... still felt like a foal, whenever around his soul father. As seen by his exclamation of "Dad!" The Doctor smiled, eagerly trotting over, and giving his boy a quick nuzzle. Smart Mouth wasn't particularly shocked, The Doctor could get into the "Wannabe TARDIS", given he's done this many times before... and each time, upsetting the security officers, at how he can walk passed the wards with no-one noticing. "Now," The Doctor suddenly got a stern expression, once he pulled away. "Derpy pointed something out to me, and I quite agree." Smart Mouth's ears pinned, seeing he was in for his own scolding. "You're little clan is becoming much too clan-ish," Informed the Doctor. "When was the last time you just went out? Got a pizza? Well I'll tell you. Much too long ago. You spend all your time in this box!" "We still save people!" Smart Mouth insisted. "Then get right back in your box and saunter off," The Doctor dismissed. "You don't wander other planets. Don't see the sights. It's just save the occasional civilization, and that's it. You need to experience life! Roller blading, swimming, going on a date! You used to do all these things." Smart Mouth sighed. After 100 Cycles, trapped in the Terran Galaxy... with governments they didn't particularly like... it just became less important to see a developing culture... when he didn't like how it was developing. "I know the Terran Empire isn't exactly the..." The Doctor tried to find the words. "Most benevolent towards non-humans, but you are overlooking the little people that live inside it. Most of them don't care for their government's 'Humanoid first' agenda. But you're missing that, trapped in this box! "You think I spent all that time saving Earth, because I liked human politics?" Smart Mouth blushed, then sighed. "No Sir..." "It's the people!" The Doctor insisted. "The wonderful, stupid, passionate, cruel, kindest people you'll ever meet! Just PEOPLE!!! Good old people. You can't just board yourself away." "Yes Sir," Smart Mouth automatically agreed... in a voice that said he didn't agree at all, but would be an obedient child. The Doctor nodded, "Luckily, I have a plan. I want you to send out your Necro Clones." Smart Mouth blinked. As did the present clones "Give them each an expandable trunk, filled with Time Pony resources," The Doctor was quick to say. "Then send them out into the Galaxy. To explore, and experience life. Maybe pick up a crew. Or reunite with old friends. Just SOMETHING!!!" The Doctor cheered. "Let them be magnificent... on their own. I'd say it's about time they left the nest. And you can still act as a safety net, with this TARDIS, and your hive mind, it should be easy." Smart Mouth gulped, "Sure... easy..."
Chapter 1 - Ponies of Starfleet, Part 1; What RemainsPrologue: The Alien Quadrant... not a very complementary name.
We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter.
Chapter 5 - Mouthy, Part 1; Preparations, Part 1Time Turner was a barely grown, adult, Stallion.
And you can still act as a safety net, with this TARDIS, and your hive mind, it should be easy." Smart Mouth gulped, "Sure... easy..."
