Prologue: Comic Con
My name is Coren Grays. I’m just a guy trying to find a way to make a living in the working world. I found a small part time job with Comic Con. My job is to help set up the stands, and check the tickets.
It was the first day of the Con and everything was going fine throughout the day. After a while of checking tickets, a co-worker came to relieve me so I could have my break. I was on my way to the designated breakroom for the staff. As I was heading there, I saw loads of people cosplaying as their favorite characters from their favorite live action shows, cartoons, Anime, video games, and anything else you could think of. As I walked, I thought of a friend I hadn't seen for a while. I know she would love to be here. I came across a RWBY stand. “Yeah I would definitely find her there,” I thought to myself, walking past the stand. I was about to enter the break room, when one of my coworkers came up to me. “Hey, Coren, stand 45 needs some help, can you cover it?” She asked me.
“Yeah, sure,” I replied to her. I found stand 45. It looked like an old school tent. I entered to see what help they needed help with. “Hello? I heard you needed help?” I called.
“Oh yes, just a moment,” I heard a mature female voice called back, and from the back of the tent walked a woman dressed up like Salem from RWBY. I almost jumped out of my skin when I saw her. My heart was racing from seeing her. “I see you know who my costume is portraying,” She said with a chuckle. She then noticed my uniform. “Ahh, so you're going to help me,” She said, placing her hands together in front of them.
“Yes, sorry for reacting like that,” I apologized to the lady.
“There is no need for an apology,” She replied with a smile, but, not lying, I was still a little scared of her.
“Okay, so what do you need help with?” I asked her.
She showed me the back room, and I saw a lot of boxes. “I have hired someone to set this up for me, but they didn’t do what I’ve asked. So I sent some Grimm to teach them a lesson they’ll never forget,” She explained, finishing with a laugh at her own little joke.
“Alright, so you need me to help you set up your stand?” I asked.
“Yes, I’m afraid, I have a photo shoot to attend,” She explained. “Here’s a picture of how I usually have the stand,” She gave me a picture from the previous Comic Con.
“OK, I’ll set this up for you Mrs…sorry I didn’t catch your name,” I replied to her.
“Call me Salem,” She replied with that mysterious smile.
“Why does that smile of hers scare me?” I thought to myself. “Alright, Mrs Salem, I’ll get this all set up for you,” I told her.
“Thank you so much,” She said as she was about to leave, “and if you do a good enough job I’ll give you a wonderful reward.” Salem gave me a little wink and left me to set up her stand.
“She said if I did a good enough job I’ll get a reward, and that wink maybe she’ll pay me more money or maybe something more,” I thought to myself and my mind got carried away with several ideas.
I spent the whole day setting up the stand for Salem. The boxes were filled with props for Cosplayers to buy. Weapons, accessories, and costumes. All of them ranging from games, cartoons, and anime alike. “Wow, who does she work for?” I asked myself, quite impressed by the large collection of merchandise she had to sell. Finally, I stood back to look at the completed display, and then at the picture. I’d managed to set everything up exactly as in the photo.
Almost immediately, Salem returned to her stand and saw your hard work. “Wonderful!” She said happily. “Everything exactly how I wanted it. It’s perfect! Thank you so much…” She looked at my name tag. “Coren,” She said with that enigmatic smile of hers.
“Why does that smile creep me out?” I thought to myself. “You’re welcome Mrs Salem,” I quickly replied to her to not sound rude.
“Now, the last thing to do is the prices, and I will help you with that,” Salem told me, heading to the back room and grabbing a box of paper with prices written on them.
Me and Salem worked together to place the prices on her merchandise. For some reason, I couldn't help but see her like a school teacher, from the way she moved, and the way she talked. “I feel like she’s testing me,” I thought to myself.
“So Coren, tell me about yourself?” Salem said to me.
“Well, there’s not much to tell, I was born in Autumn,” I started to tell her.
“Ahh a child of Fall.”
“And that’s pretty much it,” I finished telling Salem.
“Ohh I doubt that,” She said as I felt her hands on my shoulders. They felt cold as she towers above me. “I know you like to watch things burn,” She whispered in my ear. “Also, you used to do archery when you were younger. Also, you played the piano as well, but unfortunately you only ever won silver, not gold. And, to be perfectly honest, it was not your fault, it was your mother’s, never allowing you to play the songs you wanted, and always forcing you to play such long and complex symphonies that would always make your hands go numb before you could finish them. I mean, the classical pieces she would have you perform would even make accomplished adult pianists sweat, but a child at the age of 12? Well, that would be beyond challenging. Only a born prodigy could even attempt such a challenge at that age.”
“How do you know-?” I started to ask.
“Shhh,” She shushed me, “Oh I know far more about you than that, young one. Like how your workaholic of a father never once came to your aid against the tyranny of your mother. So sad. But when you were older, and when you at long last gained the independence you so longed for from your old home, you made many friends, none of whom your over controlling mother approved of.” I don’t know how she knew all of these things about me, and I was truly getting scared of her now. “Tell me, when you sit by a campfire, what do you like to look at, your friends, or did you just watch the flames?” She asked softly.
“I..I only watch the flames,” I answered, for some reason feeling compelled to answer her question.
Salem chuckled at my answer. “Did you enjoy their dance?” She asked again.
“Yes,” I replied.
“Hmm, so you like fire. Tell me, Coren, who is your favourite character from RWBY?” She asked me again. Somehow I knew she already knew the answer.
“Cinder Fall,” I answered.
“Yes, you always liked her, you liked her body, her eyes, her hair, even her name.” She leaned closer to my ear. “Cinder,” Salem whispered in my ear, sending chills throughout my body. “You and her have one thing in common.” She lowered her voice to an even softer whisper as she said, “You both like to watch things burn.”
“This is getting too freaky. I need to get away from her,” I thought to myself, but my body wouldn’t move.
“What’s in your pocket?” She asked again.
“My phone, and my wallet,” I answered, not telling her about my custom made match box.
“We both know there’s something else in your pocket, what are you hiding?” She asked, and I could feel her breath on my neck.
“A custom matchbox,” I felt compelled to answer again.
“You have a matchbox, but you don’t smoke. Why do you have a matchbox?” She whispered her question again.
“I light up the matches to watch the flame,” I answered her question without meaning to yet again. “Why can’t I move?” I thought nervously.
“Show me this matchbox of yours?” She asked.
Again, I felt compelled to do as she asked, so I reached into my pocket, pulled out my matchbox, and passed it to Salem. She took the matchbox from my hand and examined it. “Well, well, a custom made steel matchbox with Cinder Fall’s emblem and name engraved on it. How adorable. You’re quite the die hard aren’t you?” She said with intrigue before putting the matchbox back in my pocket.
She at last removed her hands from my shoulders, and I released a breath I didn’t know I was holding. “What the hell was that?” I asked myself, as my heart was racing.
“Now for that reward I promised you,” She said, placing her hand on my back. I felt her hand rest between my shoulder blades. Suddenly, my body froze in place, and I felt different. I can’t explain why or how but I just did. The second she removed her hand from my back, I felt like a different person now. “Here’s the rest of your reward for all your hard work, Coren.”
I turned to look at Salem, and stared at her, or rather, what was in her hands. She was holding Cinder’s Midnight from RWBY. “Take this as well, you have earned it,” She said with that smile again, and a wink.
“Th-thank you Mistress,” I said, taking the weapon from her. “Why did I call her Mistress?”
She placed her hand under my chin to raise my head to look at her in the eyes. Salem leaned closer to me, and we made eye contact. I stared into her black and red eyes. Those deep crimson eyes, I felt myself becoming lost in her eyes.
“Your eyes are blue and yet, you were born in Fall,” she said, still smiling. “How unusual children born in fall traditionally have Green, Hazel, or Brown eyes.” She said, removing her hand from my chin. “Have a safe journey my little Coren,” She smiled at me again.
“Yes I will, Mistress Salem,” I replied to her. I don’t know why I said it, it just came out.
“You should get going,” She said to me with her smile once more.
“Yes, I should be leaving now,” I replied, in a weird, monotone voice, like I was in a trance, finally leaving her stand, before leaving the building and then walking home. I walked all the way because I didn’t own a car. It was late and the sun was already setting. I couldn’t stop thinking about what happened before and how it escalated. I felt strange, weak and hot for some reason. “What’s wrong with me? Am I coming down with a fever all of sudden?” I thought to myself, trying to keep my balance as I walked home. I was crossing a bridge, and for some reason, it was empty, no cars, and no people in sight. Once I was about halfway across, I stopped and looked at the setting sun over the river.
“Beautiful,” I whispered to myself. Then, I felt my mind fading away, until I passed out completely, and tumbled forwards, over the railing, and down towards the cold river below. Little did I know that as I fell from the bridge, a shimmering portal opened up beneath me, and I fell right into it, before it closed up and disappeared, taking me far from my own reality.
Coren fell further and further into an abyss-like place. As he fell, Cinder’s tattoo appeared on his back, between his shoulder blades. After the tattoo appeared, his body began to burn from the outside, and a layer of ashes fell from his skin. As the ashes fell away, his body changed from male to female, his skin went from normal to fair-skinned, his hair burned from brown to ash-black, and grew to shoulder length, a pier black glass ear rings appear hanging from both his ears, his hips widened and became more feminine, and a pair of breasts formed and grew on his chest. His uniform from comic con also caught fire and became a red dress, and a black choker form from his shirt collar, his shoes also burned into glass black high heels, the left sock simply burn away as the right sock burns into Cinder’s ankle bracelet. Coren Grays had taken on the appearance of Cinder Fall.
Another portal opened, and Coren, who was now Cinder, fell through it. Once she went through, she opened her eyes. The flame burned away his blue eyes and replaced them with bright-amber eyes.
“Where’s the bridge?” She wondered, before she hit the water like a stone, and she hit her head on some rocks, knocking her out. The river then washed her unconscious body down stream.
Further down the river, a young woman wearing a black and green Hanfu was washing clothes in the river. Her skin was pale, and her hair was ginger, and her eyes were golden. On her brow were two ornate red curved lines which resembled the shapes of birds. This woman was named Autumn Blaze. She had just finished her last piece of clothing as she hummed a happy tune to herself.
“Alright, that's the last of them,” She said, placing the last piece of clothing in her basket. “Hmm, it looks like it might rain. I best head back.” Gathering up her basket of clothes, she started her journey home. As she walked, she paused as she suddenly heard someone coughing. She looked all around her to find the source of the sound, and gasped as she saw a young woman dragging herself out of the river as she coughed and spluttered.
“Oh my goodness, are you okay?” Autumn Blaze asked as she approached the coughing woman. However, just as she reached her, the woman simply passed out from lack of air. “Hey, what happened to you?” Autumn Blaze asked as she placed her hand on the woman's head.
When she pulled away her hand, she gasped when she saw blood on it. “Oh no, you’re hurt!” She exclaimed in alarm, standing up quickly and pointing her hand at the unconscious woman. A light blue aura formed around her hand, and the same aura appeared around the unconscious woman’s body. She levitated off the ground and hovered a few inches in the air. “Hold on, I'll take you to my village,” Autumn Blaze said with concern and worry, as she ran to her village, carefully carrying the unconscious woman in her magic beside her.

Chapter 1: Awakening in a new world part 1
Coren was sleeping in his new body, that of Cinder Fall, somehow he had been turned into a fictional woman. By Salem from another fictional woman.
He slowly woke up.
Coren groaned as he awakened. “What happened, my head, my body.” He tried to speak but his throat felt like sandpaper, “My throat feels terrible.” Coren looked around the room and saw a lot of Chinese stuff. Where the heck was he? China?
He heard a door open and saw a pale skinned woman with flowing red hair wearing a Chinese fighting Hanfu that was black and green.
“Oh? You're awake.” The woman said to Coren, who did know he was now Cinder.
Coren tried to say something but nothing came out so she nodded.
“I’m just here to change your bandages.” The woman explains, holding a bowl with bandages. “I’ll have to move you.” Coren nodded again.
The woman sat Coren up and started removing the bandages.
Coren noticed that his body felt off. “What was going on? Why does my body feel weird?”
Wait a second, he’s probably got brain damage or something, after all this nice lady is tending his wounds. Coren saw the bandages “That’s a lot of blood.”
Coren shivered, “Okay, I’ll get rid of those.” The woman told Coren. “I’ll bring you more medicine Cinder.” He got a chill from being called Cinder.
“Cinder? Why did this nice lady call me Cinder?
Then he remembered his match box. “My match box has Cinder’s name on it.” Guess she decided to use that. He can current her on that later.
For now Coren waited for the woman to return with the medicine.
The woman returned with the medicine. “Okay Cinder, you have to drink this.” She said, mixing the medicine with water.
Coren nodded and the woman moved him into the sitting position and the woman held the medicine to his lips. Coren drank the medicine. It was beyond bitter. “Gross.” But Coren still drank it down, despite how awful it was.
“There, the doctor said you’ll need more rest.” The woman said, gathering her stuff on the tray. “I’ll make you some soup later.”
Coren tried to say thank you, but it came out as a hoarse gasp. All he could do was nod. “I'll be back soon, Cinder.” Coren gets another chill being called Cinder again. The woman lay Coren back down.
He watched his hostess leave the room, and felt so tired and soon slept.
Autumn Blaze, after tending to her guest, went to the kitchen. “Okay, I’ll make Hazelnut Chicken soup for me and Cinder.” She checked her pantry. “Oh no, I’m short on herbs and Hazelnuts, and I need more chicken.” She grabs her pause and basket.
She quickly wrote a note for Cinder if she came looking for her while she was out shopping.
Autumn Blaze left her home and went into the forest, to find some herbs and hazelnuts.
Autumn Blaze was searching the forest for herbs and nuts for her soup.
She takes a deep breath and smiles. There was nothing like picking fresh produce. She found the hazelnut trees. “Perfect.” She held out her hand and a light blue aura glowed and the nuts floated to her basket. Autumn Blaze put the nuts into her basket,
“Now where are those herbs?”
Autumn Blaze went hunting for them, she used her nose to find them under some rocks. “Found you,” she used her magic to move the rocks and saw her prize.
She picked them and put them in her basket. “Okay, now for the main ingredient.” She picked up her basket. “The chicken.” She put the rock back and walked back home.
Walking through the forest made Autumn Blaze has always made good about herself and her Village. She loved it here. She hums a song to herself and listens to the birds. “What a lovely song you guys are singing.” Autumn Blaze was at the river where she found Cinder, she wondered how she ended up in that river.
The poor dear... She continued on her way to the village.
Autumn Blaze returned to her village and went to the market, as she walked past some rants selling their merchandise.
She decided to check them out. “Hmmmm, that’s a cute toy.” She cooked to see a stuffed animal.
Autumn Blaze continues onward toward the butcher’s tent. “Autumn Blaze!” Called a female voice. Autumn Blaze turned and saw her friend. Silk Ribbon, a fair skin tone woman about the same age, with light blue hair, wearing a light blue Hanfu with pinke finish and a pink ribbon that ties it together.
"Hello Silk," Autumn greeted, waving.
Silk power walked to Autumn Blaze. “I finished washing that dress you found.” Silk said to her friend. “where did you get it?” Asked eagerly, wanting to know.
"Thank you," Autumn said “ I found it with a girl in the forest she was wearing it," Autumn answered.
“I see.” Silk said, rubbing her chin. “Could you ask her if she’ll sell it to me?”
"I can ask, but I doubt she’ll sell it.” Autumn Blaze replied, raising an eyebrow. “Why do you want it?”
“It’s made from fabric I’m not familiar with, so I want to buy it for research purposes.” Silk explains flamboyantly.
"Okay," Autumn nods. “I’ll ask, but could you return it first?”
"Alright," Silk said, smiling. “I’ll bring it over later.”
“Thank you.” Autumn Blaze thanks her friend, with a hug.
Silk Ribbon hugged back and soo finished they’re hug.
“I better go, I need more threads for a dress I’m working on.” Silk said, starting to leave Autumn Blaze. “See you later.”
“See you!” Autumn Blaze waved goodbye.
Autumn returned to fim the butcher's tent, after some walking she found the butcher tent. There were meats and butchered animals hanging out to show to sell. A magic barrier was set up to keep the flys away. Standing behind the counter was a tall man standing about 8 feet high, who wore the traditional butcher’s regalia.
“Morning Cleaver.” Autumn Blaze greets with a happy tone.
"Morning Autumn.” Cleaver replied. “What can I chop up for you today?”
"I'd like some chicken please," Autumn said, looking at the chicken.
“Making soup?” Cleaver asked, grabbing a chicken
"That's right," Autumn replied, smiling. “I have a guess staying with me.”
“Oh, then you'll need a bigger chicken then.” Cleaver stated, grabbing a bigger chicken and began to shop it up with a cleaver.
Autumn watches him chop up the chicken for her. “So who’s this friend of yours?” Cleaver asked.
“Her name is Cinder.” Autumn Blaze replied.
“Hmmm, Cinder.” Cleaver nodded. “Interesting name.” He finished chopping up the chicken, and wrapped up Thr with paper. “I added some extra for you.”
"Thanks Cleaver," Autumn thanked the butcher, she put the chicken in her basket. “How much?” She asked.
“7 bits.” Cleaver replied, cleaning his hands of blood.
Autumn pulled out her purse and paid him “Thank you Cleaver.” Autumn Blaze smiled.
“Anytime Blaze.” Cleaver looked at the sky. “Looks like rain’s coming.”
Autumn Blaze looked at the sky. “Yeah, I better return home.”
“Take care, Blaze.” Cleaver said, beginning to pack away his tent.
“You too, Cleaver.” Autumn said, before quickly making her way back home before it starts to rain.
She felt the first few drops on her head. “Oh no it’s starting.” She managed to return home just before the rain truly began to fall.
"Safe," She said in relief, Autumn Blaze placed her shopping on the table. “I wonder if Cinder’s awake.”
She went to check up on her guest, Autumn reached the door and opened it a little and saw Cinder sleeping. “Aww.”
She closed the door quietly returning to the kitchen and got to work cooking.
Coren was in a deep sleep, at first it was just darkness, but an image started to form.
“Huh? What’s this?”
He tried to look closer and the image began to take the shape of a room. “A room?” What was going on?
The image finished forming and it was a child’s bedroom, with toys, colorful pictures, and child crayon drawings. Coren didn’t recognise this room. This wasn’t his room, it was girly and he never played with toys.
His room had a tv and a game console, with dark colors.
Something seems off here.
The room suddenly began to move. “Okay, we’re moving now?”
The room eventually stopped moving. Coren saw a big toy box, ruffly child size. “I did have one of these once.” He saw two small hands reach out and open the box, the hands moved some toys aside, dolls, wooden horses, and other girly toys. “What are you looking for?” The hands pulled out two simple wooden swords. “Wooden swords? That’s something I wouldn’t definitely have back in my childhood.” Coren was both confused and curious where this was going.
“Ashley! Where are you!?” Called a metre female voice.
“Coming Mama!” Called back a girl's voice. The room moved to a mirror and to Coren’s surprise he saw a little girl who looked like Cinder. She was wearing a little red dress with the same yellow pattern at the edge from V1 to 3.
“Holy crap! But why am I seeing this?”
The room moved to the door and he woke up. When he woke up Coren was so confused. “What was that? Why did I….” He tried to sit up but his head felt lightheaded. “Oh yeah, I’m sick. It must have been a hallucination in my dream.” He sighed trying to relax.
He heard the door open, and saw his host.
"Good morning Cinder," Autumn said, walking in the room with a bowl. “How did you sleep?”
“I……..I…..” His throat felt like hot coal. “Still can’t talk.”
"Oh no, I still can’t talk?” Autumn puts down the bowl and Coren can smell the aroma of chicken. “I've brought you some soup." Autumn said, “Can you feed yourself?” She asked, placing the bowl down.
Coren tried to raise his arms but they felt heavy.
"Not yet, huh?" Autumn asked, hold the bowl and scoop out some soup. “I’ll feed you so open wide please.”
Coren blushed, from seeing Autumn about to feed him like a newborn, but he had no choice and he opened his mouth for the first spoonful.
Autumn fed Coren the first scoop, the taste was a perfect mix of chicken, hazelnut, other herbs and spices. It was amazing, only to complain about the temperature, lukewarm at best. “Did you like it?”
Coren nodded, and opened his mouth for the next spoon. “I’m glad!” Autumn cheered, scooping more soup. “Here you go Cinder.” Autumn continues to feed Coren the soup, who enjoys every bit. “Here’s some tea.” Autumn placed the cup at Coren and tilted it slowly into his mouth.
“Lukewarm again? She must have a sensitive tongue.” Coren thought to himself, continuing to drink the tea.
“Feeling better?” Autumn asked, Coren nodded. “Good, nothing beats hot soup in the morning.” Autumn Declared with a smile.
“THAT WAS HOT!? It was almost cold.”
“Now, stay here and I’ll be back soon.” Autumn left the room taking the bowl.
Coren waited for her return, he soon felt a familiar pressure in the crotch area. “Need to pee.” Coren tried to get up, but he was still too weak.
“Come on move!” He tried to force his body to move, but all he did was hurt him. “Fuck!” He groaned, Coren had no choice but to wait for the host to return.
As he waited his bladder was sending dangerous signals… “Just hold on!”
Autumn returns. “Hey Cinder, sorry to keep you waiting.” She walked in with another Hanfu. “I got you some new robes to wear.”
Coren tried to tell her he needed the bathroom.
“What’s wrong?” Autumn asked, with a confused look.
“I…..I…..P…..P…….Peeeeee!” Coren managed to wheeze.
"Oh!" Autumn quickly puts down the Hanfu, and gets Coren out of bed, she helps him to the bathroom.
Coren used all his willpower to hold in his pee. “Almost there!”
Autumn opened the door and once inside Autumn unties the sash. “I’ll wait outside.” The second the door closed Coren removed the whole Hanfu and relieved himself.
Coren sighed in relief. “That was close.”
He noted something was off, and looked down, and saw BREAST!?
“This can’t be happening! This must be another hallucination!”
Coren checked to where his little friend should be…….he checked again…….. “IT’S GOOOOOONNNNNNE!”
He needs a mirror! Coren saw a full body mirror, he used his left over strength and walked to the mirror. Needless to say he...no, she was shocked!
Coren saw a naked Cinder Fall looking at him. Copying everything he did.
Coren touched his left breast. Cinder did so as well.
“This isn’t my maid playing tricks. This is me!” He'd become Cinder Fall.
“Cinder, are you okay?” Autumn called from the other side of the door.
"F...F...Fine..." Coren managed to squeak out, he/she was stunned hearing Cinder’s voice instead of his own. No matter how Coren looked at it, he had really become Cinder Fall, Coren grabs the Hanfu and puts it back on.
He/She opened the door when he was roughly dressed.
Autumn was waiting. “Are you okay?”
Coren nodded, “Good, I’m glad you didn’t have an accident.” Autumn hugged Cinder who blushed, and hugged back.
Autumn helps Coren or perhaps Cinder back to bed. After a few moments Cinder was back in the guest room.
Cinder sat on the bed. “I’ll get your medicine.” Autumn said, leaving Cinder alone to her thoughts.
Cinder was trying to come to terms with everything
“Okay, think how did this happen?”
She tried to remember, but it was hazy to say the least. Cinder was giving herself a headache. “My head is starting to hurt.” Cinder placed her hand on her head.
“Cinder, I'm back.” Autumn announced her return. “Are you okay?”
Cinder looked up, and nodded. “Got a headache?” Cinder nods again. “Oh you poor thing. Here Cinder, this will help.” Autumn passes Cinder her medicine, who takes it.
After taking her medicine Cinder was feeling tired. “Why do I feel tired again?”
Her eyes began to feel so heavy… and the room started to spin.
Autumn lays Cinder down and covers her. “The medicine will make you sleepy, so don’t worry.”
Cinder nodded, letting her eyes close, and soon she was asleep once again.
Autumn smiled and left Cinder to sleep. “Sweet dreams Cinder.”
Cinder slept for a couple of day’s fighting off her illness.
Autumn Blaze was watching over her, she made sure Cinder was comfortable as she slept.
Autumn wasn't sure if Cinder should be sleeping this much...maybe she should go get a doctor? “Mmmmmmmm.” Autumn heard Cinder mound and watch her wake up.
"Cinder?" Autumn asked softly. “How are you feeling?”
Cinder turns her half asleep eyes to Autumn Blaze. “So…re.” She replied with a dry throat.
“Oh my, which area are you sore?” Autumn asked, with a concerned tune.
Cinder clears her throat and tries to moisturize her saliva. "My back….” She clears her throat again. “And my neck…”
“I see, probably bed stiffness.” Autumn hums. “Do you feel sore? Anyway, what else?”
“My…throat is…...” Cinder coughed.
"I'll go get you some water," Autumn said, running to the kitchen to get Cinder some water.
“Thank you.”
Autumn soon returned with a glass of water with a straw. “Here Cinder.” Autumn held the glass of water to her lips. Cinder catches the straw with her lips, and drinks some water.
The water was ice cold, it was perfect for her, the dryness immediately disappeared from the freshness, she soon finished drinking. “That’s better, thank you.”
"I'm glad," Autumn said, putting the glass on the table.
Cinder tried to but her stiffness was stopping. “Ahh, my back and my neck.” She groans in discomfort. “How long was I asleep for?”
"A few days," Autumn answered,
“DAYS!?” Cinder asked in shock. “I slept for a few days?”
“You must have needed it.” Autumn replied, “You were very ill.”
Cinder was stunned, when she was Coren she never slept for that long. Even when she had the flu, what did she catch from the river?
Cinder sighed, “Wow, I never slept that long in my life.”
"Well you did hit your head, and you were fighting off an illness.” Autumn said, “So guessing, your body decided to keep you asleep so it can focus on recovery.
"I see..." Cinder said, thinking about Autumn Blaze was making sense. Cinder was suffering from head trauma, and she is still recovering. So sleeping for a couple days sounds right. She puts her hand on head and takes a deep breath, she smells her arm. “I smell like a gym bag!”
“Well you did sleep for a couple days.” Autumn giggled. “I'll go run a bath.”
Cinder blushed, and smiled. “Yes, please.”
“I won’t be long.” Autumn said walking out the room. “Oh by the way, your clothes are in the closet.”
"Thank you.” Cinder nods, seeing the door shut.
Cinder relaxes and waits for Autumn to return, but she was curious about the clothes Autumn mentioned. “Hmmm, my clothes, does she mean my uniform?”
Cinder mangled and got up out of bed, stretching out her beck and neck. “I feel like an elder.” She said, hearing something pop. “Ow!” She rubs her back. “Okay let’s mt clothes.” She walks to the closet, and opens it.
She gasped seeing Cinder Fall’s outfit from V1 to 3 from RWBY. “I was found in this?”
“What happened to my uniform?” Cinder looked at the dress. “Autumn found me wearing this? What happened to my uniform?” She looked at the outfit, and was curious how it felt. Cinder touched it and it felt like silk, the yellow finish glowed from her touch. “Is this made from dust?”
Cinder heard the door open, she closed the closet, she spun around to see who was entering, and saw Autumn entering.
“Oh Cinder you’re up.” Autumn Said, holding a towel and soap.
"Oh, yeah, I guess I am," Cinder said to Autumn, rubbing the back of her head, her head still feeling sensitive.
‘The bath is ready for you.” Autumn informed Cinder, passing her the towel and soap. “Do you need any help?”
"No thank you," Cinder said, smiling. “You’ve done more than enough for me.”
“Alright, do you remember where the bathroom is?” Autumn asked.
“I……didn’t remember.” Cinder admitted. “Could you show me the way?”
“Of course, follow me.” Autumn said, leading Cinder to the bathroom once more.
Autumn opened the door and Cinder saw the huge bathtub. “Wow, that’s big.” Cinder declared seeing the bath. “Why do you need a tub this big?”
“When my sibling comes to stay, we fight for who goes first.” Autumn explains to Cinder. “Call me if you need me.” Autumn said to Cinder walking to the door.
“I will thank you.” Cinder said seeing Autumn leave gave her some privacy.
Cinder placed the towel down on the rake, and approached the bathtub. She placed her hand into the water. “Just right.” Cinder puts the soap and washcloths in hands reach, she removes her Handfu and blushes from seeing her new body. “I need to get used to this.” She took a deep breath and entered the bath. The hot water was so nice for her sore muscles. “This is bliss.”
Cinder just closed her eyes and enjoyed the heat for a bit. “This is nice.” She declared, with the sensation of melting into the water. “I wasted so many years.”
She felt alive again, she sighed with happiness. “Okay, time to wash myself.”
Cinder grabs the soap and the washcloth. She began cleaning up her body...and could help but glance at her new breasts...
“Okay, I need to clean them too.” She was nervous, seeing these breasts. Cinder was a guy a couple of days ago, so it’s only natural to be a little nervous.
Were Cinder's breasts always this big or was it just because they were attached to her now..?
She gulps, this body was Coren’s now so he doesn’t need to be nervous for……touching them right?
A hand wandered up to one of her breasts… and she gasped from how soft they were. “So soft and sensitive…” she moaned, she started to fondle them more gasped and soft moaning.
“This is wrong.” Cinder told herself she had to stop...but she felt so good...her breast filling up her hands as she squished and bounced and pulled at them...
Without thinking her hand crept towards her Vagina…. “Cinder, is everything alright?” Cinder jumped and turned to the closed door.
"Everything's fine!" Cinder squeaked, embarrassed from what was just doing. “What the hell was I doing!?”
“That’s good, may I enter?” Autumn asked.
Cinder looked at the door with widened eyes. “Ummm why?” Cinder was in full panic mode.
“I forgot to give you shampoo.” Autumn answered.
Cinder slashed some water in her face, to calm herself down. "OK, please come in." She said, giving permission to Autumn.
Autumn enters the bathroom with a bottle of shampoo.
"Here you are Cinder." Autumn said, giving the shampoo to Cinder.
“Thank you.” Cinder takes the shampoo hiding herself under the water.
“Is the water okay?” Autumn asked.
"It's great," Cinder said, “Just perfect.”
“I haven’t bathed in a while, mind if I join you?” Autumn asked.
Cinder blushed heavily, she was nervous enough seeing her own body, can she handle seeing another naked woman? “Ummmm, sure, I mean we're both girls after all.” She said, nervously smiling.
Autumn started undressing, Cinder blushed and looked away.
"What's the matter, Cinder?" Autumn asked
“I’m just resuming cleaning myself.” Cinder quickly replied, grabbing the washcloth.
“Ah, I see.” Autumn said, stepping into the tube.
Cinder was blushing out of control. “Calm down Coren! You can’t be acting weird! You can’t let Autumn find out you were a guy!” Cinder mentality told herself.
“Wow, this water is perfect.” Autumn said with a relaxed tone. “Cinder, would you like me to wash you back?” Autumn asked.
"W-Wash my back?" Cinder asked, trying to hide her blushing.
“Yes, I’ll wash your back and you can wash mine.” Autumn explained with a smile.
"Oh, OK." Cinder blushed, happy that she didn’t have male parts, at this particular moment. “Okay, calm down. You're a woman not a man.” Cinder takes a deep breath and calms down.
“Okay, I’m going to start Cinder.” Autumn informs Cinder gently cleaning her back.
Cinder got chills from having her back washed by another person. “Are you okay?” Autumn asked
“Y-Yeah, the cloth was a little cold.” Cinder replied, looking over her shoulder.
“Do you want me to stop?” Autumn asked.
“No, please continue.” Cinder replied.
“Okay.” Autumn continued to wash Cinder’s back, she couldn’t help herself but notice how perfect Cinder’s skin is. “Wow Cinder, your Skin is perfect.” Autumn said complementing Cinder Skin tone.
“Oh really?” Cinder asked.
“Yeah, your skin is soft and there’s no dryness anywhere.” Autumn said, “But I have to ask what does this tattoo mean?”
“Tattoo?” Cinder was confused, she didn’t remember having a tattoo on her back. “What tattoo?”
“This one.” Autumn laced her hand between Cinder’s shoulder blades.
The second Autumn touched the tattoo, Cinder received a jolt of déjà vu. She remembered Salem touching her back. “Now here’s that reward I promised you.”
Cinder remembered how cold Salem’s hands were, remembering how cold her hands were and gave Cinder another chill.
“Cinder, are you okay?” Autumn asked, “Was the water not hot enough?”
“No the water is fine, just got a chill from déjà vu.” Cinder replied,
“Okay, I’m almost done.” Autumn said finishing washing Cinders back. “Alright done Cinder, ready to do mine?” Autumn asked.
“Sure.” Cinder said, grabbing the wash cloth. She turned and saw Autumn’s back, she saw how pale and yet beautiful it was. “You’re back looks good too, Autumn.” Cinder said, getting ready with the washcloth.
“Thank you, I take good care of myself.” Autumn said, holding her hair from her back.
Cinder began to gently wash Autumn’s back. “Wow, her skin is so pale and yet fair, but why is she so pale?” Cinder hums to herself.
“Are you humming a tune?” Autumn asked, looking at Cinder over her shoulder.
Cinder snapped back to reality. “No, I was just thinking.” She replied, “Say Autumn, why is your skin so pale?”
Autumn giggled from the question. “This is my natural skin tone.”
Cinder was surprised by this answer. “So you were born like this?” Cinder asked,
“Indeed I was.” Autumn replied, “Is there an issue?”
“No-no, just curious.” Cinder replied, “Sorry If I offended you, in any way.”
Autumn turned and faced Cinder. “No apology needed, you’re only asking a question.” Autumn replied with a smile. “Alright, I can take it from here.” Autumn takes the washcloth.
Cinder nods. “Okay, I’ll do the same.”
Cinder and Autumn clean themselves and Cinder was still nervous, thinking how would she cry herself without Autumn seeing her naked.
“Here Cinder.”
“Hmmm?” Cinder turned and saw Autumn holding the bottle of shampoo. “Oh thank you Autumn.” Cinder took the bottle and poured some shampoo onto her hand, she placed the bottle on the side and began to wash her hair. Coren used to have short hair, but having longer hair felt nice, also she was cleaning more gently then would before, perhaps she was doing it subconsciously.
Cinder washed out the soup and checked it for knots and split ends. “I’ll feel like this is a part of my routine.”
“Everything okay?” Autumn asked, still rinsing her hair.
“Yes, just checking for knots and split ends.” Cinder replied, finishing checking her hair.
“I’ll be done soon.” Autumn said, squeezing excess water from her hair. “You can get out first.”
“Thank you.” Cinder smiled and took this chance to keep her nudity to herself. She quickly steps out of the tube and wraps herself in a towel. “Thanks for the bath.”
Cinder rushed out of the door leaving Autumn confused. “Your welcome?”
Cinder rushed down the hallway and entered her temporary room, she sighed in relief. “Made it.” Cinder walked to the center of the room and saw clothes on the bed. “Oh Autumn most have put these here.”
Cinder began to dry herself off and dressed herself in another Hanfu. “How many of these does she have?”
There was a knock at the door. “Cinder, are you descent?” Autumn skied from. The other side of the door.
“Yes, I’m fully clothed.” Cinder replied, she saw Autumn entering the room with a come and hairpins. “Umm what are those for?”
Autumn giggled. “They’re for your hair silly.”
Cinder’s jaw dropped. “My hair?”
“Of course, you need to comb your hair, or else it will get knotty, and I thought you might want to decorate your hair with my pins.” Autumn explained to Cinder.
“I see,” Cinder looked at her hair, as Coren never combed his hair, so he was experienced in combing women's hair, and thinking about it, knotted hair sounds painful. Perhaps she should let Autumn comb her hair. “Autumn, could you comb my hair please?”
“Why of course.” Autumn said, pulling out a chair for Cinder to sit on. “I’m quite the professional hairstylist.” She declared inflating her ego a little.
Cinder smiled from seeing Autumn having a little bit of an ego. “Okay great to hear.” Cinder sat down. “Ready.”
“Okay, let’s begin.” Autumn gently grabs Cinder’s hair and begins to comb it. “Wow, Cinder your hair is like silk.”
“Is it?” Cinder asked.
“Yeah, so smooth, no dryness, no split ends, just silky smooth.” Autumn said combing Cinder's hair.
Cinder was enjoying having her hair groomed by Autumn. “You’re good at this.”
“I should be, my mother taught me everything I know.” Autumn said smiling. “Say, do you want me to add a scent to your hair?”
“Scent?” Cinder asked
“Just some oil to make your hair smell nice.” Autumn explained, “Can I interest you?”
Cinder thought about it. “What do you have?”
“I have Blue bells, roses, and my favorite hazelnut.” Autumn listed her scents.
Cinder smiled at the last one. “Hazelnuts please.”
Autumn smiled and put a few drops of oil onto the comb, Cinder smelled the aroma of Hazelnut, she smiled and closed her eyes. “What a lovely aroma.” Cinder said, with a happy tone.
“I’m glad to hear you like it so much.” Autumn said, continuing to comb the oil into her hair. “And done.” Autumn finished combing Cinder’s hair and began into a bun, she put two of her bronze hair pins, with Red beds hanging at the ends. into the bun in a cross. “There, take a look, Cinder.”
Cinder opened her eyes and saw herself with, she blushed from seeing her hair in a bun with the two hairs pins. “Wow, you’re good Autumn.” Cinder said, turning her head left to right.
“I’m glad.” Autumn giggled, putting away her comb and oils. “Now, next is your makeup.” Autumn said, grabbing her brushes.
Cinder looked at Autumn, she wasn’t ready for that just yet. Plus from Coren’s mindset, Cinder doesn’t look like she needed any. “Umm, Autumn, I think I’m okay without makeup.” Cinder with a little shaky voice.
“Hmmmm,” Autumn looked at Cinder’s face. “True, you don’t need makeup, okay we’ll skip that part this time.” Autumn said, putting her brushes away. Gotta say, you take really good care of your skin and hair. What’s your secret?”
Cinder’s mind went into full panic mode, what could she tell Autumn? That she was a guy who met a witch named Salem who turned her into Cinder Fall, with a bombshell body? Her mind raced to think of a believable answer, she took a breath through her nose, savoring the nice smelling aroma of hazelnut.
She calmed down her mind, and thought of an answer. “I recently met someone who changed my life.” Cinder answered, keep the truth about her past to herself.
“Hmmmmm, okay.” Autumn shrugged, “Remain a mystery.” She said, giggling. “Oh by the way, I’m going out for some shopping, would you like to come?”
Cinder thought about it. She has been cooped up in this house for, guessing a week, she could use the fresh air, and It would be nice going for a stroll. “Sure I would love to come along.” Cinder replied, smiling.
“Grate!” Autumn cheered. “I’ll just need to put this away, and grab my purse.” She grabs her comb, oils, and makeup brushes. “I'll be back soon.”
Cinder saw Autumn leave her room, giving her some alone time, she looked at her reflection. “Wow, I’m beautiful.” She said blushing, looking at her Handfu and hair. “Hmmm, I can admire myself later.” She walked to the closet and opened it. “Okay,” She started to look around. “Where’s my stuff?” She looked more and found a pouch.
“Hmmmm?” She opened it and saw earrings, an ankle bracelet, and a scroll. “This isn’t my stuff.” She rummaged through the pouch, and found her matchbox. “Yeah, this is mine.” She opened it and saw her matches. “Okay, I’ll save you for later.”
She put the box back into the pouch and pulled out the scroll. “Hmmm how do I…..”
She heard the door open, and she put the scroll back into the pouch.
“Oh Cinder, is everything alright?” Autumn asked.
“Everything fine, I just watched to check if I was…..” Cinder looked again in the closet. “Autumn, where’s my weapon?”
“Weapon?” Autumn asked in confusion. “When I found you, you didn't have a weapon.” Autumn replied. “What kind of weapon is it?”
“A pair of dual swords that can attach into a bow.” Cinder explains. “I see, sorry but I only found you, is the weapon important?”
Cinder thinks, was the weapon important? It was given to Coren by Salem, and yet Cinder felt the urgency to find Midnight. Perhaps this feeling was a side effect from Cinder’s body.
“I just need to find it.” Cinder replied simply.
“I see, hmmm.” Autumn thinks for a moment. “Okay, Cinder, I'll take where I found you. Perhaps your weapon is still there waiting for you.”
Cinder closed the closet, and turned to Autumn. “Yes please.” Cinder said, “Take me to the place you found me.”
“Okay, let’s go.” Cinder nods and follows Autumn to the front door and leaves Autumn’s home, to find her weapon Midnight.
To be continued……
[Displaced] Ashes In the Wind
Chapter 2: Awakening in a new world part 2
Autumn takes Cinder back to the river where she found her.
“Is this the place?” Cinder asked, looking at the river.
“Yes,” Autumn nods, “This is where I found you.”
“Okay.” Cinder looks around for her Midnight. “Can you help me search for my weapon?” Cinder asked Autumn.
“Of course,” Autumn said with a nod and smiled. “I’ll help you find your weapon,”
“Thank you.”
Cinder and Autumn searched everywhere, after some time Midnight can not be found.
“I can’t find it.” Autumn sighed, “I’m sorry Cinder.”
“It’s okay,” Cinder said, She looked at the river and kneeled down close to it. “Do you think my weapon could have been taken downstream?” She asked, placing her hand in the river, feeling the currents.
"Maybe..." Autumn said she thinks for a second. “There is a fishing village farther down.”
Cinder looked at Autumn. “Oh?” She stood up and looked at Autumn. “What is the village like?” She asked.
“It’s like my village,” Autumn shrugged, “Only difference is it’s by the river.”
“I see,” Cinder looked at the river. “Okay, can you lead the way?”
“Sure.” Autumn smiled. “Follow me.”
Cinder followed Autumn down the river. Cinder kept an eye on the river just in case she found her midnight.
“We’re here,” Autumn announced, Cinder looked at Autumn and saw a town with fishing nets reaching across the river. "Welcome to Silver River.”
“Silver river?” Cinder asked, looking at the river, she saw a fish with Silver scales. “Oh, it’s named after the fish.” Cinder giggled,
“This village used to be a mining village.” Autumn explains, “They used to pull Silver out of the river, so they named the village after the Silver they gathered.”
“Oh?” Cinder blushed thinking the village was named after the fish. “So what’s with the Silver Fish?” She asked,
“The fishers believe the fish who live in the river eat the Silver, to make themselves beautiful,” Autumn explains,
“Oh?” Cinder said fish from her original homeworld don’t eat metal, but then again she wasn’t in her original homeworld, so metal-eating fish must be average here. “Do you think my midnight is here?” Cinder asked, looking into the river once more.
“I think so,” Autumn replied, looking into the river.
“Hey, Autumn Blaze!” Called a male voice.
Autumn and Cinder looked across the river, and a shirtless fisherman showed his chiseled body to the world, repairing a fishing net.
“Hey, Sidon!” Autumn called waving at the fishman.
“Friend of yours?” Cinder asked, unable to look away from the shirtless fisherman.
“He trades with my village. His name is Sidon.” Autumn replied,
“I see,” Cinder nods, she notices Sidon repairing one of his nets. “Hey, he's repairing a net.”
“Maybe your weapons damage it.” Autumn said, “Let’s ask him.”
Cinder nods and looks for a bridge but she doesn't see one. “Is there a bridge further down?” She asked,
Autumn slimmed and placed her hand by her mouth. “HEY SIDON!” She called out.
Sidon looked across the river looking at Autumn. “WHAT’S UP!?” he called back.
“MY FRIEND AND I NEED TO ASK YOU SOMETHING!” Autumn called, “CAN YOU COME OVER!?”
“SURE!” Sidon stood from his net and dived into the river swimming like a fish towards Autumn and Cinder.
“How can he swim like that?” Cinder asked, watching Sidon swim against the current.
“You’ll see,” Autumn said, stepping back from the riverside, Cinder stepped back too.
Sidon jumped out of the water, his long black hair covering his face and body.
Sidon threw his hair back, showing his water-covered muscles, up close Cinder can see him more clearly.
Cinder fed her eyes looking at the all-natural male specimen in front of her, her eyes wandered to his abs. “Oh my god, you can grind meat on those guns.” Cinder said blushing, “Wait why did I say that? Why am I blushing!” This was confusing for Cinder since she was a guy not long ago. Maybe it had something to do with becoming Cinder, Maybe it’s another side effect of some kind.
Sidon laughed proudly. “You’re not the first person who said that to me!” He said, continuing to laugh. “So what brings you here?” Sidon asked Autumn and Cinder.
Cinder was snapped out of her thoughts. “Oh right.” She said, clearing her throat.
“Me and my friend Cinder.” Autumn points at Cinder, “Did a pair of twin swords damage your net?”
“Yeah, A pair of Identical swords did damage my net.” Sidon replied, “Is it yours?” He asked Cinder.
"Yes, they are mine," Cinder replied, “I’ll pay for the damages, but can I have my swords back?”
“Ah sorry to tell you this,” Sephron rubbed the back of his neck. “But I sold them.”
"Dammit!" Cinder swore, “who took them?”
“To just some lad from Steel Forest,” Sidon answered,
"Let's go, Autumn," Cinder said. She ran towards Steel Forest, but she didn’t know the way and returned to Autumn and Sidon. “Yeah, I have no idea where I’m going.” She said, rubbing the back of her head, blushing.
“A roughly two of three miles north of here," Autumn answered,
“The river can get you there faster.” Sidon declared, “I can give you a ride on my boat.”
“Really?” Cinder asked, “Why?”
“I kind of owe you for selling your swords.” Sidon explained, “It’s the least I can do.”
Cinder nods, “Okay, is that okay with you?” She asked Autumn.
“Of course, it would be fine with me,” Autumn replied.
“Okay,” Cinder looked at Sidon. “We’ll take your offer.”
“Alright, let me grab my boat.” Sidon drives into the river and swims back to his village.
“He is a great swimmer.” Cinder declared. “I wonder if he could teach me how to swim like that.”
“Doubt it.” Autumn said, “his hands and feet are webbed.”
Cinder looked at Autumn with wide eyes. “Really?” She asked,
“Yep.” Autumn nods. “Thanks to his webbed hands and feet he can swim like a fish.” She explains, “In fact, everyone in the village has webbed hands and feet.”
“Amazing.” Cinder hums, “So I can see them like the fish Faunus.”
Soon Sidon returns with his boat. “Okay, ready?” He asked his passengers.
“Yep,” Autumn said, stepping onto the boat, she turned and looked at Cinder who just looked at the water. “Are you going to be okay?”
Cinder was trembling a little, why? Sure she almost drowned, and sure she just got over a cold, but she’s stronger than fear, Cinder has survived worse, but Coren was never in danger like this before.
“Cinder?” Autumn asked again. “Are you okay?”
“Yes, I’m fine.” Cinder declared, stepping into the boat, Autumn helped Cinder onto the boat.
“Okay hold on,” Sidon said, rowing his boat down the river.
During the ride to Steel Forest, Cinder was curious about the name. “Autumn?”
“Yes?” Autumn hums,
“What can you tell me about Steel Forest?” Cinder asked,
“Well, it’s a blacksmith village.” Autumn began,
“A blacksmith village?” Cinder asked, “I’ve only seen Blacksmith villages in anime and manga.”
Autumn nods, “My village traditionally buys knives, swords, hammers, and armour from them.” Autumn explains, as they travel down the river.
After some time a metal leaf falls on the boat. “We’re here.” Sidon announced.
Cinder turned and saw their destination. “WOW.” She gasped, the whole town is made of metal trees and the townsfolk live inside them. “I’ve never seen a place like this anywhere.”
"I'm glad you like it," Autumn giggled.
“This place is amazing,” Cinder said, wanting to touch one of the trees. a metallic leaf falls and Cinder catches it. “Even the leaves are made of metal.” Cinder was truly in an anime world “It was like a fantasy world!” She turns to Autumn. “How is this possible?” Cinder asked.
“This Mountain was once a volcano.” Autumn answered, “According to legend, this volcano almost erupted, three Kirin’s knew this volcano would end the world, and they sacrificed themselves to seal its power. Then they became the land and us.”
“I see,” Cinder Hums. “So was one of them made of metal or something?” She asked, looking at the trees.
“No,” Autumn replied, “But the story says they had the power over metal, wood and water.”
Cinder remembers the difference between the three villages. “Ah I get it now.” She said smiling. “You’re from the wooden village, we just visited the water village and now we’re in the metal village.” She smiled like a child, this was beyond proof she is in another world.
“You look giddy.” Autumn said with a grin.
“Do I?” Cinder asked, still smiling.
“Yep you do.” Autumn said, “So ready to see the blacksmith?”
“Okay,” Cinder nods, taming her excitement. “Where's the blacksmith?”
"Just this way," Autumn said, pointing the way. “Sidon can you dock over there please.”
“Of course.” Sidon docked the boat, letting Cinder and Autumn disembark.
“I’ll wait here for you.” Sidon told them, grabbing his fishing rod.
“Thank you Sidon.” Autumn thanked the fisherman with a bow.
Cinder bowd too. “Thank you very much.”
“Ready to find the smith?” Autumn asked.
“Yes, lead the way.” Cinder said, following Autumn.
After some time of walking Autumn led Cinder to the smiths shop.
Cinder saw another tree house, with windows showing weapons, tools, and kitchen knives, she noticed smoke coming from a branch made into a chimney.
Coren, before becoming Cinder nice, wanted to be a Blacksmith. She was a mix of emotions, she desperately wanted to rush in.
“We should find your weapon here.” Autumn said, walking to the door.
“Oh right my bow.” Cinder said, blushing a little she actually forgot why they came here. “Alright, let’s head inside.”
They entered the workshop, Cinder gasped seeing the weapons, armor and even some firearms. “Whoa.” It was pretty impressive, when she was Coren she would have gone full weeb mode.
Cinder walked towards the firearms, “Wait! Business first!” Cinder shakes her head, clearing her mind of her curiosity. “Where’s found they keep the bows?” She wondered, looking for her Midnight.
“Looking for archery equipment?” Asked a female Voice.
Cinder turned and saw a woman about her age wearing thick leather overall, with short sleeves, she had welding goggles on her forehead. Her hair is Black and cut short. Standing behind a counter.
Looking at the woman she might be the smith, or the smith's apprentice. Cinder noticed some sweat on her face, she must have just finished working.
Cinder steps towards the counter. “Hi, I’m looking for twin swords that can attach into a bow.”
"Hmm, twin swords, and they attach into a bow?" The woman thought to herself, rubbing her chin. “Oh! I recall having a weapon like that.” The woman said remembering Cinder’s midnight.
"You do?!" Cinder smiled eagerly to reunite with her Midnight.
“But I sold them.” The smith said, with a sad look.
“Excuse me?” Cinder asked with an eye twitch.
“One of my regulars said the original owner died.” The smith explains, with a sorrowful tone. “I’m terribly sorry.”
Cinder takes a deep breath through her nose. “Who brought my sword’s?” She asked, exhaling her deep breath.
“The Orchid Twins.” The smith replied. “They brought them roughly an hour ago. You might be able to find them if you go now.”
Cinder nods, “Thank you.” Cinder Turned and saw Autumn looking at some arm blades, she smiled and walked to her. “See something you like?”’
Autumn turned and looked at Cinder. “I saw something I like.” She replied, “But they’re out of my price range.” Autumn shrugged. “Oh well, did you find your swords?”
“Unfortunately they were sold.” Cinder answered.
“Oh I’m so sorry.” Autumn said,
“But I know who brought them.” Cinder smiled,
“Oh? Who?”
“The Orchid Twins.” Cinder said, “The smith sa-” She saw Autumn deadpanning. “I’m guessing you know them.”
Autumn sighed. “I do, but I don’t like dealing with them.” She hangs her head, not wanting to see the twins.
Cinder pats her head. “I understand Autumn, just help me find them, and I’ll deal with them.” She said, smiling at her friend.
Autumn smiled, “Okay, if they just purchased the swords today, they’ll be showing them off.” She thinks for a second. “So perhaps the local tavern.”
“I see, do you know where it is?” Cinder asked.
“Yes, I do.” Autumn replied.
“Okay, take me to them.” Cinder said, “and on the way you can tell everything you know about the Twins.”
Autumn nods, and the two of them leave the workshop.
After some time of walking, Autumn led Cinder to the tavern.
Cinder stood outside looking at the building. Inside was her Midnight, and the twins.
Autumn held her hand. “Are you ok?” she asked.
“I’m okay.” Cinder replied, looking at Autumn. “I’m just eager to get back my swords.”
Autumn released Cinder’s hand. “Alright let’s get back your swords.”
“Yeah, let’s.” Cinder steps towards the door and enters the tavern.
Inside the tavern there was a bar and two areas, one for drinking and eating, and the second area had several gambling tables. Cinder and Autumn walked to an empty table, they sat down Cinder began scanning for her swords.
“Do you see them?” Cinder asked.
Autumn looked and she saw one of the twins. “I see them.”
“Where?”
“Gambling side.” Autumn replies.
Cinder looks. “Which one?”
“The sister is in a red kimono.” Autumn answered.
Cinders sees the red kimono woman. “I see her.” Cinder looked closer and saw her sword on her hip. “She has my sword.” She hissed her eyes burning, she saw them playing a game of cards. “How much do you have?”
Autumn looked at Cinder who kept her eyes on the red Orchid. “Why?”
“I’m going to play a game.” Cinder replied, feeling an odd sensation. Could this be the hunger Cinder was obsessed with?
Autumn looked at Cinder with concern. “What are you planning?”
Cinder looks at Autumn. “I’m going to win my swords back.”
“And you need my money to do so?” Autumn asked.
“Yes, I know I’m already in debt to you.” Cinder said, “You saved my life, you nursed me back to health, and you're going out of your way to help me retrieve my swords.” She sighed, feeling guilty for asking another favor from Autumn who has done more than Cinder could repay. “I hate asking for another favor, but I need you to do this last one last favor.”
Autumn breathed through her nose, and grabbed her pouch. “Here Cinder.” She gave her pouch to Cinder. “This is all I have left, please don’t use it all.”
Cinder takes the pouch. “Thank you.” She said looking inside, and taking half. “I’ll take half.” Cinder returns Autumn’s pouch.
“Thank you Cinder.” Autumn taking back her pouch, she saw Cinder leave the table. “Good luck Cinder.
“Thank you.” Cinder replied smiling, she made her way to the gambling tables.
Cinder found the twins playing poker with three others, she noticed the brother was wearing a blue kimono. The opposite from his sister. She saw them playing Texas hold 'em.
She knew how to play this game, she waited for a free chair. After some time of waiting one of the players left the table, Cinder smiled as this was her opportunity to win back her swords.
Cinder approached the free chair. “Hello.” She said, with a soft voice. “Can I join?”
The Orchids look at Cinder. “How much do you have?” Asked the red Orchid.
Cinder shows her borrowed money. “Only this.”
The blue Orchid smarked. “We could use some more spending money.” He looked at his sister. “What do you think?”
“I agree, more money sounds nice.” Said the red Orchid. “Join us.”
“Thank you.” Cinder sat down, she was more than ready to play this game.
Through the game Cinder has eliminated the other two players, now it was only her and the twins.
Cinder checked her hand, she checked her hand.
“4 aces? Now’s my chance to win back my swords.” Cinder pushed everything into the center of the table. “I’m all in.” The twins looked at each other, Cinder smiled. This was the perfect moment to strike while the iron was hot. “Problem?”
“No.” Said blue, “I’m all in.” He declared pushing in all his coins.
“And so am I.” Said Red, also pushing in her coins.
Cinder smiled again. “I’m sorry, but I’m afraid you don’t have enough to cover the pot.”
The twin looked at each other once more.
“I wager my new sword.” Sad red Orchid, placing her half of Midnight.
“And so do I.” Said blue Orchid, placing his half of Midnight.
The sister smiled. “Now you don’t have enough for the pot.”
The brother smiled. “So what will you do?”
Cinder placed her hand on her chin. “Then I’ll have to offer myself.”
The Twins looked at each other once more and smiled wickedly.
Cinder saw them smiling and seen enough Hentai to know what that smile meant.
“I could use a new maid.” Said the sister.
“So could I.” Said the brother.
“Well shall we end this game?” Cinder asked,
“Yes.” Said the twins.
The brother showed his hand, he had two Kings. The sister showed her hand, with two Queens.
“I believe we won.” Smiled the brother.
“I do too.” Smiled the sister. “So what’s your name? Maid.”
Cinder smiled, holding her hand. “Four of a kind.” She showed her hand, revealing her 4 aces. “I win.” She declead, taking her winnings, seeing the twins destroyed by her bright her such pleasure it was almost intoxicating. “Pleasure playing with you too.” Cinder left them and returned to Autumn in triumph.
The twins looked at Cinder, with anger and hatred. They’ll never forgive her for this humiliation.
Cinder didn’t notice the twins looking at her, because she was on cloud 9 from this feeling of being superior from others, it was insinuating to her, she looked at her prize.
“I’m going to give this to Autumn, she deserves this for everything she has done for me.” Cinder smiled, more imagining Autumn's reaction.
Autumn drinks some tea waiting for Cinder. “I hope she’s doing ok.”
Autumn takes a sip from her tea, she hears the sound of coins ruffling in a bag.
“Hmmm?” She turned and saw Cinder smiling like the cat who ate the canary.
“WOW!” She gasped
“Here Autumn.” Cinder places the swag on the table, she sat next to her.
“Wow Cinder.” Autumn said, looking at the bag. “You must have cleaned them out.”
“And then some.” Cinder placed her swords on the table next to the bag.
“You got them back.”
“Indeed,” Cinder smiled once more. “Finally reunited at last.”
“So what are you planning to do with your winnings?” Autumn asked
“I’m giving it to you.” Cinder replied, looking at Autumn, who jaw dropped from hearing Cinder’s answer. “Are you ok?”
Autumn closed her mouth, and shook her head. “Cinder you can’t give me this?”
“Why?” Cinder asked, “You have done so much for me, this is the least I can do.”
"I didn't do it with the expectation of being repaid!" Autumn protested,
“I know you didn’t.” Cinder declared, “But, it doesn’t feel right if I didn’t do something to thank you.” Cinder held her hand. “Please Autumn let me do this, to repay your kindness.”
"Fine. If you insist. But I insist that you keep half," Autumn countered. “Because you won quite the amount, for me to accept.”
“Okay if you insist.” Cinder nods. She picked up her bag. “Shall we return home?”
“Yes.” Autumn agreed standing from the table. “Let's return home before it gets dark.”
Cinder stood from the table too. “So quick question, how far are we?” She asked
“Not too far.” Autumn replied, “If we go by boat or raft, we’ll be back home in less than an hour.”
“Oh? So do we need to rent a boat?” Cinder asked,
“No Sidon should still be around.” Autumn replied. “Let's head to the river.”
“Okay.” Cinder nods.
They left the tavern, and returned to the river.
Cinder and Autumn returned to the river, seeing Sidon with quite the catch.
He saw the girls returning. “Hey!” He called, smiling, pulling out another fish.
“Hey!” Autumn waved back.
“Hello!” Cinder called holding the bag of money.
Sidon stood up, putting his lasting catch into the net, with the other fishes.
“Did you find your swords?” He asked,
“And more,” Cinder replied, holding her swag.
“I see.” Sidon laughed, proudly. “I’m happy for you.”
“Not as happy as I am.” Cinder laughed, with Sidon.
“Nice to see you two getting along so well.” Autumn smiled, “Sidon, would you be willing to take us back to my village?” She asked politely.
“Of course, it’ll be on my way home.” Sidon answered, “Let me place my catch in my box.” He said, pulling his net filled with fish. He poured the fish into a water tight box.
Afterwards he helped CInder and Autumn board his boat.
Soon they were setting sail down the river.
Within a short time Sion rowed Cinder and Autumn back to their village, just before nightfall.
“Here we are.” Sidon announced, “Fall village.”
Sidon docked his boat to let Cinder and Autumn disembark.
“Thank you Sidon.” Autumn said bowing a little.
“Thank you.” Cinder said, grabbing some money. “Here take this for your time.”
“Oh thank you.” Sidon said, taking the money, he grabs some fish. “Here, have this since it’s late.”
Autumn takes the fish. “Thank you Sidon, this will be nice with some harbs.”
“Ooo sounds nice.” Cinder Said with a tummy groan. “And she agrees.”
Autumn giggles. “Better get rosetted soon.”
“Can’t wait.” Cinder smiled. “Thanks again Sidon.”
“Anytime, have a nice night.” Sidon replied, rowing away.
Cinder and Autumn waved goodbye, the two walked back to Autumn’s home.
Later that night, Cinder and Autumn just finished the fish Sidon gave them.
“That was good.” Cinder declared with a happy tummy.
“Oh yeah.” Autumn agreed also with a happy tummy. “Thank you Sidon.”
“Yeah, thank you Sidon.” Cinder smiled,
“So what now?” Autumn asked.
Cinder looked at Autumn confused. “What do you mean?” She asked.
“Well you're fully recovered.” Autumn began, “You retrieved your swords, so what’s next?”
This took Cinder by surprise, she didn’t even think what to do next.
“I-I don’t know.” Cinder answered, “That never crossed my mind.”
“Oh?” Autumn was surprised, she thought Cinder would have some kind of plan. Or somewhere to return to. “Wh- she was cut off by knocking on her door. “Coming!” Autumn called, before leaving the table. “Be right back.”
“Take you time.” Cinder smiled, she took this moment to think. She didn’t know what to do, Salem sent her here without any instructions, also she’s not familiar with this world in any way, she remembers her stuff in the closet, perhaps she’ll find some clues there.
Autumn returns with some letters. “Sorry about that.” She apologized sitting down. “My neighbor had some letters for me.” She explained.
“Oh okay.” Cinder replied standing from the table. “Sorry but I need to look for something.” She explained before leaving the table.
“Oh ok.” Autumn said, watching Cinder went upstairs. “Talk later then.”
Cinder walked to her room, and once inside she went straight for the closet. She opens it and grabs her pouch, she grabs her scroll.
“Okay, hopefully I’ll find some answers from this.” Cinder studies the device, she somehow knew how to operate it. She opened the screen and saw the cube with 6 dots. “Okay,” She selected one of the dots showing photos, “hmmm.” She tapped another one, saying setting. “So they reveal what they are, after being selected?” She selected the next dot showing contents. “Contacts?” Cinder opened her contracts, seeing names of Cinder’s acquaintances. “Emerald, Mercury, Adam?” She saw some of Coren’s contacts. “Mom?” She was tempted to call home but she remembers Coren’s mom was a Bitch with a capital B, so she decided not to call her.
She decided to leave contact and looked for notes, “found you.” She opened it hoping for answers. Only to find the notes Coren made. “Crap.” She threw the Scroll on her bed and sat down. “Damn it.” She threw herself back, staring at the ceiling. “What now?”
Cinder had no idea what to do now, she had no idea where to go, nor did she know anyone from this world. “How-
“Cinder?” Autumn knocked at the door. “Are you ok?”
Cinder sat up. “I’m ok.” She replied.
“May I come in?” Autumn asked,
“Of course.”
Autumn entered the room with a letter. “I just received a letter from my friends Apple and Fluttershy.” She said cheerfully.
“Odd names.” Cinder thought to herself.
“They invited me to a festival held in Ponyville.”
“Ponyville!?”
“And I was wondering if you would like to accompany me.” Autumn explained, blushing a little. “If you would like to come with me.”
At this moment Cinder saw Autumn as an Angel from heaven, saving her from this dilemma. Also if she goes with Autumn to Ponyville, “Still a weird name.” Cinder might find some clues, or something.
“Yes.” Cinder said, standing from her bed. “I would love to accompany you.”
“Really?” Autumn said, with a happy smile. “Thank you.” She hugged Cinder.
Cinder blushed from the hug, but she hugs back. “Traveling with a friend makes the trip easier than alone.”
“Yes,” Cinder said, smiling. “Traveling with friends makes any journey easier.”
They ended the hug. “Alright, I’ll make a to-do list for the trip.” Autumn said before leaving. “Get an early night, we’ll be busy tomorrow.”
“Right.” Cinder agrees, seeing Autumn leave her room
Cinder sat on her bed and grabbed her scroll. “Huh, nice of Salem to upgrade my phone.” She said placing the scroll back into her pouch. “Alright time for night night.”
Cinder turned off the lights and slid into the soft embrace of the bed. She yawns and soon sleep takes her.
Tomorrow Cinder will accompany Autumn to Ponyville, and hopefully she’ll find some answers to why she was sent to this world, and why she became Cinder Fall.

Chapter 3: A Helping hand
It’s been two days since Autumn Blaze and Cinder Fall began their journey to Ponyville.
Cinder and Autumn made camp for a night. Cinder took the first watch sitting by the campfire keeping watch, while Autumn slept.
Cinder watched the flames dance, when she was Coren he loved watching fire.
In fact... one of his favorite activities was camping. A peaceful time, getting away from the house and breathing in the fresh air.
Cinder sighed, thinking of her former life, and wondered why Salem chose him. Was it by chance or did she have a plan for her?
If it was the latter... life was a bitch. Salem definitely had something in mind...
Or if it was the former….life’s still a bitch.
Cinder sighed and looked at her Midnight, Salem gave her this bow. “Now I’m wondering if Salem gave me anything else.”
Maybe her semblance or the Fall Maiden powers, or maybe some kind of Grimm abilities.
“Wait, am I pregnant with a Grimm?” She randomly thought to herself, “Hold on, why am I thinking about pregnancy?”
Cinder found that thought to be rather idiotic... She or he had watched the show before. Never in a moment was there a scene where Cinder was impregnated with a Grimm baby, but she did remember that Glove Cinder used to steal the Fall Maiden’s power.
“Ok, I think I’m sleep deprived.” She sighed trying to think about anything else.
She heard something moving in the bushes, she quickly grabbed her Midnight and loaded an arrow.
She released her arrow into the bushes. Once the arrow went inside the bushes as Cinder prepared another. "Come out!"
Cinder steps towards the bushes and pushes aside the branches, and sees a little bunny rabbit, with her arrow between its ears.
"...Oh." Cinder blushed, feeling embarrassed, a bunny... She was about to kill a rabbit.
“Sorry little bunny.” The Bunny quickly snapped back to reality and ran away as fast as possible. “Be careful in future.” Cinder grabs her arrow, and returns to her campfire.
Autumn poked her head out. “Everything okay?” She asked, with a yawn.
"A cute little Rabbit stumbled upon our camp, and I nearly killed it." Cinder replied.
“Oh, poor bunny.” Autumn said, yawning once more.
“Yeah poor little bunny.” Cinder sat back down. “Go back to sleep, I’ll continue the watch.”
"Okay... Give me an hour or two... I'll take over." Autumn responded before going back to sleep.
Cinder, nodding, returns to keeping an eye for intruders.
She added more wood to the fire, she looked to the sky and saw the broken moon.
“Am I on Remnant, or a world similar to it?” She wondered.
Cinder returned to her watch and the rest of the night was uneventful thankfully.
The next day, Cinder and Autumn were packing up their camp, before the sun rose over the distance.
Autumn looked at her map. “Ok, if we start walking now, we’ll be in Golden Gate junction before nightfall.” She told Cinder, as he put the map away.
"Okay... and then what do we do?" Cinder inquired.
“We take a train.” Autumn replied, "Then it’ll be a two day journey to Ponyville."
“I see.” Cinder nods, then a thought comes to mind. “Wouldn’t a two train journey be expensive?”
“Yes, but don’t worry.” Autumn replied, pulling out a ticket from her breast pocket and showing it to Cinder. “I have a prepaid ticket.” She placed it back into her pocket. “But We’ll have to buy you a ticket when we reach Golden Gate junction.”
“Right,” Cinder nods, “Do we have enough?”
“I think we do,” Autumn replied, “We’ll have to check once we arrive.”
“Hmm, true.” Cinder hums, if she couldn’t afford the ticket, Autumn would have to resume the rest of the journey alone, but then again Cinder knows Autumn quite well at this point. She knows Autumn would find a way to get her a ticket regardless of the price.
Cinder didn’t like relying on Autumn this much, it didn’t feel right to her.
“Are you ok Cinder?” Autumn asked,
“Yes I’m fine.” Cinder replied, “But I am a little worried about payment.” She admitted,
“Don’t worry Cinder.” Autumn said, with her sunny smile. “We’ll figure something out.”
Seeing Autumn smile, little Cinders mood and made her smile too. “You’re right, we’ll figure something out.” She nods, “Shall we resume our journey?”
“Of course!” Autumn cheered, leading Cinder to Golden Gate.
Along the way, Cinder was asking different questions about Golden Gate and Ponyville.
“So what is Ponyville like?”
"A peaceful hamlet in Equestria.” Autumn answered, “Quite possibly one of the more popular ones in the country... Not to mention it's very close to Canterlot."
"Canterlot?" Cinder cocked a brow, “Sounds like Camelot.” Cinder thought to herself. “What’s that?”
"The capital of Equestria.” Autumn replied, grabbing an apple from a tree. “It's where the Princesses live." She takes a bit from it.
Princesses, so was Cinder in a kingdom of some kind? Remnant had four kingdoms
but no monarchy to speak of. So maybe this isn’t Remnant, she needs more information.
"Who are these princesses exactly?" Cinder asked,
“Celestia and Luna. The day and night Princesses.” Autumn replied, eating more of her apple.
Huh, interesting... Celestia and Luna Latin for Sun and Moon, very interesting, but how are they day and night? Do they rule in shifts?
“Who exactly are they?” Cinder asked,
“I never met them.” Autumn replied, throwing away her apple. “But Celestia rises from the Sun, and governs the day time, Luna rises the Moon, and protects the dreamer from nightmares.”
“They raise the Sun and Moon?” Cinder asked with wide eyes. This definitely isn’t Remnant, Remnant’s Sun and Moon don't need to be moved by someone else, the planet rotates around the Sun and the Moon rotates around the planet, WAIT!? If the Sun and Moon need to be raised by two powerful magic users, is this world still?
Cinder’s mine raced over thinking how can a world still exist if it’s not spinning.
“Cinder?” Autumn said, “Are you ok?” She notched her.
“HUH!?” Cinder snapped back to reality. “Sorry, did something happen?”
“No.” Autumn replied. “But you were spacing out, and I was getting worried.”
“Oh?” Cinder blushed. “Sorry I was overthinking something silly.” She admitted, in hindsight it was kinda silly attempting to make sense of this magic world. “ Moving on who are the other Royals?” Cinder asked, wanting to change the topic.
"Hmm…” Autumn thinks for a moment. “Well there's Princess Cadance of the Crystal Empire, and Princess Twilight Sparkle."
An Empire? This definitely isn’t Remnant, so now that’s been confirmed, time for some digging. “So who are they?”
"Princess Cadance is the princess of love,” Autumn bagan, “and Twilight is the Princess of Friendship,"
Cinder raised an eyebrow. Love and Friendship? She can understand day and night but love and Friendship? Kinda silly if you ask her, like a silly kids cartoon, but she kept that herself.
As they continue onwards, a thought comes to Autumn’s mind. “Cinder?”
"Yes, Autumn?"
“Where are you from?” Autumn asked, curious about Cinder’s homeland.
However Cinder didn’t know how to answer this question, she wasn't exactly one person. She sighed, trying to think of an answer. Should she tell Autumn where Coren’s home? or Cinders? It was a difficult conundrum.
“Cinder?” Autumn asked. “Are you ok?”
"I'm fine it's just...I'm not sure how to answer," Cinder admitted
“What do you mean?” Autumn asked, sounding concerned. “Do you not remember?”
“No.” Cinder took a deep breath and sighed, “Autumn I have two homes.” She began, “One of my homes was Hell, I suffered abuse by my so-called family.” Cinder decided to tell Autumn about her Cinder side, considering she wasn’t Coren, but Cinder. “I’m sorry but could- Cinder found herself in the embrace of Autumn arms hugging her tightly.
“I'm so so so so so sorry!” Autumn Cried, “I should never have asked.”
"I-It's fine really," Cinder hugged back, stroking Autumn’s head. “Looks like Autumn is one of those who cries easily.” She thought but soon noticed something moist. She pushed Autumn and saw Autumn ugly crying. “Wow, you’re an ugly crier.” Cinder said, pulling out a tissue from her pouch. “Here.”
“Thank you,” Autumn takes the tissue, and blows her nose. “Sorry, I sometimes cry easily.” She explains sniffing.
“I gathered.” Cinder said, with a chuckle. “Shall we resume?”
“Yes we should.” Autumn replied, wrapping her tears.
CInder continued following Autumn to Golden gate junction.
After some time of walking, Cinder and Autumn encountered a wagon with a man attaching to replace the wheel.
“He looks like he needs help.” Cinder said, as they approached the man.
“Maybe we should help.” Autumn said, as they heard the wines of a baby. “A baby?”
“Could he be a single parent?” Cinder wondered,
“We should help.” Autumn said, as she increased her speed.
“Guessing I don’t have a choice.” Cinder shrugged as she matched Autumn’s pace.
They soon approached the wagon, and with a closer look the man was a farmer in his twilight years. He wears the traditional overalls and a worn out straw hat, so presumably he was a grandfather, and the baby they heard was probably his grandchild, but where is the child’s parents?
“Hello!” Autumn announced herself.
The man turned, with his hand on his lower back, showing his age he saw Cinder and Autumn. “Hello ladies.” He greeted,
“Do you need help?” Autumn asked, seeing the elderly man struggling.
“Oh no,” The elderly man replied, “I can handle this.”
“No you can’t!” Declared female voice, a young woman in her 30’s wearing the same attire as the elder, she held a baby in her arms, nursing her child.
Cinder blushed a little considering she was once male. “Dad!” She yelled while walking to the farmer. “You are not as young as you used to be, you heard what the doctor said.”
“To hell with that quack!” The elders argued. “I’m still in my prime!”
The elderly man and his daughter bickered for some time.
Cinder and Autumn felt awkward watching this. Eventually the bickering between the farmers ended, and the daughter won.
“If you wouldn’t mind, please help us.” The daughter asked, Cinder and Autumn.
“Sure!” Autumn smiled.
“What can we do?” Cinder asked.
“Just lift the wagon, and my dad can attach the wheel.” The daughter explains, moving aside.
“OK.” Autumn said getting into position to lift the wagon.
“Sounds easy enough.” Cinder added, also getting into position.
The Elderly man rolled the wheel into position. “Ok, ready?” He asked,
“Ready!” They nod,
Cinder and Autumn lifted the wagon, and the elderly farmer quickly placed the wheel back in place, he immediately nailed it in place.
“There!” He said, “That should do.” He declared putting his hammer away.
“Will it hold?” Autumn asked.
“Hopefully.” The farmer replied, "Just until we reach Golden gate.”
“Your heading to Golden gate?” Autumn asked, “So are we.”
“Oh you are?” Asked the daughter, “We could give you a ride.” She offered,
“We don’t want to intrude.” Cinder answered, being polite.
“Not at all.” The daughter replied, “It’s the last we can do, we would be stuck here all day if you two didn’t come along.”
“She’s right, Cinder.” Autumn said, “Also this would cut our journey time down.”
Cutting the journey time down did sound tempting. Also the sooner they reach Golden gate the better.
“Well if they’re offering.” Cinder smiled, accepting the offer.
“Grate!” The daughter smiled, “Dad make some room for our friends.” She called.
“Ok give me a hand.” The farmer called back.
The two farmers made some space for Cinder and Autumn, and they bordered the wagon.
Soon they were ready to resume their journey toward Golden gate junction, but little did they know, Golden gate was under siege by powerful forces…
