From Beyond The Infinite

Anon wakes up as soon as the sunlight coming in from the window hits his face.

"Ugh, I haven't slept in in a while" Anon gets up and does some stretches to limber up. Anon steps over to the shower and turns on the water.

*Knock knock*

"The front door? at least I know it's not Rainbow. I'm Coming!!" Anon leaves the shower water on and steps to the door to open it.

Anon opens the door to find Applejack standing on the other side of the threshold. "Howdy Sugar cube" Applejack tips her hat.

"Oh Gosh! I'm not late for work, am I?" Anon glances quickly at the clock to check the time.

"Ahh no no, don't getcha horseshoes inna twist y'here? I actually came to tell ya that'cha don't have to come to work today"

"So like a day off"

"Well Sorta, Mind if I come in?"

"Oh of course, make yourself at home, It's small but still cozy"

"Funny you say that Sugar, That's why I'm here" Applejack goes over to the lone chair next to the window and desk and sits down. Anon comes back from turning off the water and steps out of the steam covered room.

"What do you mean?" Anon sits on the bed all the while shooting a confused look at the Orange Mare.

"Well none of us knows exactly when or even HOW Ya'll gonna get back to your home"

"Yeah neither do I but in the short time I've been here i gotta say. I love it here"

"That's mighty fine of you to say. So what's say bout gettin you a house?"

"Well, I'd love to have my own house. But for one I have not nearly enough bits, And for two I think all the buildings in this village are owned"

"Except one"

"Oh yeah?"

"Yeah, There's an ol' Shack closer in between Town and the Park you fell in at"

"Actually now that you mention it I did notice it while I was walking to the park with Rainbow Dash the other day, I'd love to get that but there's still a 'bit' of an issue hehe" Anon chuckled a little at his own joke

"Well, it is kinda run down, That an' the rest of the girls wanna help you, So meet us at that shack and we'll discuss it witcha. Sound good partner?"

"That sounds great! I'll see you guys there!" Anon says with excitement apparent in his voice

Applejack gets up and heads toward the door. Anon opens the door for her but just before the Orange mare can get too far...

"Hey Applejack, just curious... but why are you guys going out of your way for a stranger like me?"

"Anon... You're not a stranger, you are a friend, plus don'tcha think it's cramped in here? at least a little?"

"You got a point, Thanks Applejack, I appreciate it"

"Anytime Anon, Call me AJ"

Anon is about to shut the door when AJ is the one that stops him this time.

"Just so ya know, Dash was the one to orchestrate this whole shindig"

"Oh Okay cool I'll be sure to thank her by giving her competition in our next race since our last one was a bust Haha"

Anon shuts the door then goes to get in that shower that he yearned for when he woke up

Walking through Ponyville Anon notices that not many of it's residences were around, businesses were still open and ponies were running them but there was no one walking around like usual

Anon gets on the street that leads somewhat away from the village. That's when ponies start to become visible

"What's going on here??" Anon asks himself as a familiar red stallion trots and converges paths with his human friend

"You'll see when we get there" replies Big Macintosh, a stallion with a voice that could do All-State commercials

"So I suppose it's a surprise??"

"Eeyup"

Anon and Big Mac get to what used to be an old shed. Now it is a fully sized house that sorta resembles the shed, only bigger and it is surrounded by most of Ponyville's residents as well as the 6 friends you made when Anon got here.

"Surprise!!!!" Everypony says in unison, Shock isn't even the word to describe what Anon is feeling right now, feeling all sorts of emotions Anon can only stand there mouth slightly ajar and struggling to speak the Mayor of Ponyville trots up to the human while his 6 friends approach as well

"As Mayor of this town I humbly offer this beautiful house to you Anon. In the short time you've been here you have shown us hospitality in your actions and your words as you have helped the residents of Ponyville on your own time even when you weren't working."

"But miss, I've only been here for about a week or so I don't think I deserve a whole house, I mean back where I come from-"

"Just hold on Anon" Rainbow says as she flies to him "after work you carry groceries for earth ponies that bought too much, you stopped a swarm of bees that was gonna attack Zecora by doing that air blast thingy, Hoof! you even saved Scootaloo from crashing into a tree because she was going too fast down a hill"

Twilight speaks up "Anon you helped me clean up the library when Spike and myself was too tired"

Fluttershy steps forward "You watched all of my animal friends when I went to get medicine for Angel" She says in a soft yet sweet whisper

"You know I do these things becau-" Anon was interrupted by Rarity "Because that's who you are, we all know this darling but you've helped just about everpony here, you helped me by pulling 5 carts full of gems I can use for new dress designs"

"Yeah silly! You mean to tell me that when you taste tested my new baked goods that THAT wasn't helping?" Pinkie pie says while bouncing and stops in midair in front of Anon's face before falling slowly

" Well, I mean they were pretty tasty"

Applejack hits Anon's side her hoof "Anon, Granny Smith said ya gave her a piggyback ride back home after you were headin home yaself after you had got done workin for us, An when she turned around to thank ya you were already runnin back home"

The Mayor speaks up "Not to mention that every time somepony wants to compensate you, you decline and always say that you were taught growing up to help others"

Rainbow lands in front of Anon "You always help but never wanna be helped, don't let your ego stop others from helping you"

Everyone stops to look at Rainbow Dash in surprise at what She just said...

"Haha I guess no one expected you to say that" Anon says as he laughs light heartedly "I appreciate what everyone did for me I'm thankful to not only be here, but to have you guys as friends, jeez you guys make me so cheesy" he says as he laughs a little bit to cover the fact that his eyes are getting watery

The Mayor clears her throat to catch Anon's attention "Ahem, anyway you have showed us that not only you aren't a threat, but you have showed us that we can rely on your assistance, we only ask that you allow us to help you when you also need it and help you feel at home here in Ponyville" The Mayor offers her hoof as a sign for a Hand/Hoof shake "This house is our Thank You and a Welcome to Ponyville gift"

Anon shakes her hoof and smiles in gratitude "Thank you miss Mayor" He looks at everypony standing behind her. "Thank you Everyone!"

The crowd cheers and a Canon goes off from behind Anon and confetti rains down on everyone while Pinkie jumps above everyone "ALRIGHT LET THE HOMECOMING PARTY COMMENCE!!!"

Anon jumps up in excitement and exceeds Pinkie's height "Yeah!!!"
