From Beyond The Infinite

Applejack trots over with a barrel filled with a mysterious liquid and sets it down with a little force jostling the nozzle on the side "Anon! C'mon over here for sec!!"

Anon sets down the last two pales of apples for the day of labor he endured "Sure Thing!" Anon jogs over at a quick pace and stops in front of Applejack.

Applejack takes a couple glasses with ice in them out from behind the barrel and fills both with a yellow like liquid "Have some Lemonade since ya worked ya petunia off"

"Sweet! Thank you AJ, you know back in my world *sips Lemonade* There's a ceral named after you"

Applejack almost spits out some of her lemonade in laughter "Oh Really? That is kinda funny, Probably why you chuckled after hearin ma name"

"Can't lie, that is the reason"

"Don't feel bad sugarcube, I can't lie either... quite literally, so where's the fire?"

"I'm sorry?"

"You seemed like ya'll were in a hurry to get this acre cleared before 4, an it's noon now, that's the fastest ah've ever seen anypony work"

"Yeah I'm meeting with Rainbow later to hang out" Anon finishes the last of the Lemonade in the glass "Man that was some good Lemonade" Anon says as he places the glass on top of the barrel

"Come to think of it, Rainbow has been acting really weird ever since ya showed on up here" Applejack smiles briefly "I"m thinkin she might like ya, or startin to at least"

Anon shakes his head in denial of Applejacks words, "Nah, Idon't think that's it, Besides if she's acting a little differently it's because I'm new she's hanging out with me showing me around. Besides there's that whole difference between species thing"

Applejack flinched "Excuse me? Species thing?"

Anon notices the shift in tone and pauses for a moment to understand the current tension "wait... are you telling me that it's not taboo in this world?"

Applejack set her glass down on top of the barrel "Are ya tellin me it is in yall's world?"

Anon scratches his head "It uhhh, yeah it is..."

"What in tarnati-

"I should explain that most of the other beings we live with in my world don't have any comprehensive intelligence, relationships can't be a thing. It's kinda like if you were to ask me out but I can't say yes or no and I'm not of age to do so anyway and you took me out regardless. It's called bestiality there"

Applejack shifts back to her normal tone and sits on the grass "Ah think I understand now. At least if you wanted you could have a love life here. After ya'll are comfortable anyway" Applejack equipped with new understanding get's up and gets her glass again "oh and I do owe ya an apology for snapping at ya, I didn't understand at first"

Anon raises his hand in note "No need Applejack, I get it"

Applejack pauses after filling her glass and looks at Anon "Wait, are ya sayin that you fell in love with a different speices before?"

"Well no actually but for some reason I feel like I truly understand" In that moment an extreme pain shot through Anon's head "Ahh What the--" Visions flash in his head of him training in a meadow with a somber feeling in his heart. Anon drops to his knees and catches his breath

"Anon! Are you okay??" Applejack is now next to Anon and has placed her hoof on his back to ensure that he knows someone is with him

"Yeah I'm okay... just a headache"

"That is one heckeva headache, ya want me to get big mac to take ya home?"

Anon get's up swiftly but stumbeling in the process "nah, I'm good, besides ain't nothing a milkshake can't fix" remembering that he will soon hang out with possibly his closest friend here

Applejack starts to head back in but not before she wishes him safe journey and speedy recovery. After Anon reassures Applejack he parts ways as well to head back home for a well needed shower.

Anon locks his door turns around and checks his pocket watch "oh, it's only quarter after one, might as well do a little light training in the field next to sugarcube corner while I wait for Rainbow"

Anon begins his jog into town, as he jogs he greets everyone with a smile and wave before getting to the backyard size field next to conor of sugary sweets.

"Let's get some stretching in get these muscles loosened up" he says while starting with his legs "Still though, what was that earlier" his mind tries to make sense of his vision

Just as Anon is finishing up his stretches he hears flapping of wings from behind him. He turns around to see no one. Turns back around and is face tot face with Rainbow Dash "Ahh!" Anon yelps as he puts up his defenses in reaction

"Ahhh hahaha gotcha didn't I? haha" Rainbow laughs in mid air while holding her stomach "I'm gonna have fun with you come Nightmare Night"

"Yeah well you only caught me off guard is all, you'll get your just desserts" Anon drops his hands from a guarding position and turns to head inside Sugarcube Corner and Rainbow lands and trots next to him

"I'm too awesome to be scared of anything Anon" Both walked in the doors and sits down at a booth close to the windows

"So what have you been up to" Anon starts the conversation with an exciting tone

"Well I woke up, ate Breakfast, Then I spun my house around and took a nap"

"haha you spun your house around?"

"uh yeah by flying around it really fast"

"you never cease to surprise me Rainbow"

Pinkie Pie comes from around the counter to greet her friends "Hey Guys!!"

"Hey Pinkie Pie" Said both in unison

"So what brings you two to the tastiest sweet tooth booth to ever boop your nose?" Pinkie Pie boops both Anon and Rainbow on their noses with her hoof which cause them to chuckle

"well I figured that I'd get to know this world a little better from Rainbow and I'll share a little of my world with her" Anon states clearly with a smile

Rainbow shoots a look to Anon "You know you made that sound cheezy right? Do you write poetry or romance novels?" She says while chuckling a little

Pinkie nudges Rainbow with her elbow "I think it's a little of both Hahaha" Both ponies burst into laughter as Anon's face turns bright red and he even chuckle softly.

Pinkie now nudges Anon's arm "don't worry Anon, just joking witcha, so what do you have in mind for sweets you seem like a milkshake guy am I right?"

Anon froze but soon recalls that Pinkie is the Random Energetic One "You know it, Strawberry please"

"And the usual for me Thanks Pinkie Pie"

"Okie dokie lowkie coming right up" Pinkie disappears leaving a smoke after image like a cartoon

Anon chuckles a little bit and shakes his head "Sometimes I think this place is like a dream"

Rainbow tilts her head in confusion "So you don't think this place is real?"

Anon shakes his head again "No not like that it's just there seems to be more good here than bad, you see, in my world it's sorta the opposite"

Rainbow nods in understanding "So there's more bad than good in your world huh, Then why try to go back?"

"Well my Family and Friends are there and I don't wanna worry them sick. Earth is actually a really beautiful place even with the bad. I've made plenty of memories there. Speaking of memories I had a vision of what seemed to be like a memory earlier"

"Were you asleep?"

"No I was awake, it happened and it took the breath out of me but I'm good"

Rainbow tensed for a moment but relaxed after Anon reassured his safety "That's good, but what was this vision memory thing about anyway"

"Well the memory was indeed a memory because the events have happened but the weird thing was the feeling I felt IN the memory"

"What was the feeling?" Rainbow leaned toward Anon in anticipation

"The feeling was that of loss, like losing a loved one, that's strange becomes if I'm ever training sometimes I feel like something is missing rather than lost"

Rainbow leans backward into her seat and ponders what Anon told her "... Maybe your world is trying to pull you back, but then you mentioned that there isn't any magic there"

Both Anon and Rainbow discuss theory after theory until "AAAND One usual Chocolate and Vanilla swirl in a bowl with a side of Peaches and Cream MilkShake for the Awesome Flyer AAAnd One Strawberry Milkshake for the romantic poet haha have fun you two" Pinkie saysas she darts to another customer that had just walked in

"Well anyway no need to dwell into it now lets enjoy the treats" Anon says when he takes a sip, eyes widen "Oh.. ma.....Gawd" Anon looks at his milkshake in disbelief "This milkshake could end all wars in my world haha"

"Ha! really? Try this" Rainbow with the tip of her wing takes a teaspoons worth of ice cream of puts it on Anon's nose surprising him

"Keep racking up your bill Ms Dash" Anon says squinting at his rival, he then uses his finger to get the ice cream for a taste test "Whoa, you know it's strange how even the same things that you guys have here are WAY better quality then back home"

"Point one for Equestria"

"Hey let's not make this a competition... but you can have this one" Anon takes another drink "Anyway you wanna explain Why you love flying so much?"

Rainbow sips on her milkshake before starting "Well, to compact all the awesomeness into a shorter story, I defended Fluttershy's honor by racing her bullies"... Rainbow Dash proceeds to tell Anon about the entire story without missing a single detail regardless of of how short or long she thought the story was

"Wow so it seems to me that you have the mark of a true hero, standing up for your friend like that" Rainbow smiles at this "Not trying to boost an already large ego Dash haha" Anon takes the last sip of his milkshake he was the last to do so and begins stand up, but as he leans forward to get up his necklace hits the milkshake glass catching Rainbow's attention

"Where you going?" Rainbow says as she starts to finish her drink in a quick fashion. Anon puts 6 or 7 bits on the table as payment and tip and begins to jog out the door

"And here I thought you were the fastest flyer in all of Equestria!" Anon softly shouts to egg on Rainbow

"Oh I'll show you fastest flyer all right!" Rainbow responds in earnest before finishing off her ice cream and chases Anon out the door leaving behind a Rainbow Trail as usual but what's unusual is the sparkling effect of the trail

Pinkie Pie walks to the now empty table and looks at the bits "Anon tips really well" She says to herself as she retrieves the payment and continues working
