Envy And A little Anger As I wake up it’s all the same. Eat, drink, practice and sleep. And of course I get my viola and trotted outside to the orchestra and meet with one of my best friends Octavia. And I could only feel envious of her success, popularly, and beauty. It also pains me to see her with the popular Vinyl Scratch since they are marefriends now. It must be nice having somepony care about and love you every single day. And they are of course happy together so I don’t think I can tear them apart anytime soon. As I trot to into the streets of Manehattan, I see a very big building where the orchestra is being held. Once I got inside the place was crowded with everypony talking or already in their seats. Then I started to get jealous again because everypony was just oh so happy with each other. Some of them were even with their special somepony and it was painful. I can only hope that I can get it together before saying something out loud that I might regret. Of course I had to hurry and get on stage too as I saw Octavia who smiled while waving at me. “Alto, is everything alright? Because you’re not usually late.” Octavia said while setting up her cello. And she was right, I never was late unless I was sick and I wasn’t. So I gave my best fake smile to her so she wouldn’t know. “Of course Octavia, I’m just a little tired from Hearths and Hooves Day.” I said still keeping my fake smile and doing my best to sound normal. She seemed to buy it as I also started setting up my viola. Once everypony stopped talking and got seated we both got into position and started playing. As we were playing I could only focus on the audience as they watched. Some of them smiled, some of them angry, and some of them completely bored. But I only focused on the ones who were smiling, because some of them had their own special somepony to be with. And I wanted to tear every couple apart in the building since I didn’t have one. So if I can’t have one then nopony should. I also seemed to catch Octavia sneaking glances at me while we were both playing. She had a frown so I guessed that she’s trying to read my mind or something like that which made me a little mad since it’s none of her business. Too bad I kept smiling so she couldn’t possibly tell what I was thinking. I know she’s one of my best friends and I know that she’s just worried but I think what Octavia is doing is futile. And minutes later we were finally done performing. After everypony clapped and cheered at our performance. Me and Octavia take a few bow’s and head off stage. “Well it looks like everything went great as always.” Octavia said as she smiled at me. I smiled back but only so she couldn’t see what I really felt. Although I could still tell she was trying to see through me. “Well of course, we are the best after all.” I said while sounding a little more enthusiastic this time. But by we I meant Octavia, since she’s better than me. Because truth be told I still needed practice to do, but I was going to do it way later. But I couldn’t help but be envious of my best friend, because she had somepony that loves her and I don’t. “Well I’ll see you later Alto, have a good night.” Octavia said as she trotted and waved. I waved back of course but this time without the smile. And finally I was able to be alone with my thoughts. But somepony tapped on my shoulder and I was about to get angry until I turned around to my second best friend Twilight Sparkle. And thankfully I wasn’t angry anymore. “You and Octavia did a great performance today.” Twilight said smiling. I am also envious of her and how she’s basically a hero since she has saved Equestria. And has a lot more friends. But I keep those thoughts to myself and try to ignore it. However, her compliment of not just Octavia’s performance but mine too was very welcome. “Thank you very much Twilight, I’m just glad I got to play.” I said while smiling back at her. And it was a real smile, not a fake one. With that Twilight and I headed back outside then went towards my home. We talked about normal things like the weather, hobbies, and books. It was very enjoyable talking with her especially when it came to books. “So Alto, I’m free today. Do you want to spend time together.” Twilight said happily as we both arrived at my house. I wanted to be alone today but I suppose I could spend just a tiny bit of time together. I happily nodded as I opened my door for her to come in. Once we both headed inside, I started to make some tea. “I’m making tea Twilight, do you want some?” I said as she walked in the living room while I headed to the kitchen. I have no clue what she wants to do or even talk about but I’m sure it’ll be fine. I could hear Twilight humming a tune and flipping pages in her book, which I think is adorable of her. After a few minutes of finishing up the tea, i put them on a nearby tray and set the teacups with water. Last but not least I put the teabags in each cup. “Yes I would but only tw- oh you already did it without waiting for my answer.” Twilight said as she laughed a little. And I was a little embarrassed for it, but quickly shook it off. I knew Twilight loved tea and knew she only wanted two scoops of sugar. So I didn’t have to worry about anything yet. The real fun starts in the next chapter. The Lucky Filly As Twilight finished her cup of tea, she said her goodbyes and left my home. Once she closed the door, I was finally able to stop smiling and right back to serious mode. Then I went to my cabinet and pulled out a bottle of wine to relax and calm down my nerves. Although the wine was making me relax, it still wasn’t enough so I went to the bedroom and got some unprescribed pills from my nightstand and swallowed it with the wine. Since I felt a little better now, I decided to go outside and take a stroll in Manehattan. Upon trotting in the street I saw a little filly all by herself looking sad on a small bench. She had a straight yellow blue mane and tail, her coat orange, her eyes brown, and her cutie mark had a sun and some bubbles. After I observed her, I was wondering why a filly is out here by herself and didn’t know so I decided to go over and ask her myself. “Hello little filly, what’s your name?” I said while putting on a straight face. I didn’t really care to smile since my friends weren’t here. As I asked her what her name was she looked up at me with a small smile. If she didn’t have any parents or guardians then I could totally take her in and show her some love. “Um hello Miss, my name is Bubble Sun.” She said nervously while looking away from me. “If it’s not too much could I ask about your name?” Bubble sun said politely with a big smile. She just looked too cute, plus I love a filly with manners. “Of course dear, my name is Alto Harmonic. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” I said in a motherly tone. But I also had to know why this filly was by herself so I proceeded to ask her. “Forgive me if I’m being nosy, but why are you outside on the street looking sad all by yourself?” I said with little concern. Bubble Sun looked back at me with a surprisingly straight face, and I could tell she didn’t want me to know but did it anyway. “I don’t have any parents or a guardian, so I have no where else to go.” She said sadly. And it looks like she’s lucky because I’ll take good care of her, especially in bed. But I kept myself from smiling at such an opportunity for me. Before I could say anything else Bubble Sun continued a little bit more. “Since then I’ve been having to steal or take food and drinks from everypony without being seen.” She said painfully as she looked down to the floor. “Oh you poor thing, don’t worry about it. Your well being and secret are safe with me.” I said worriedly. But on the inside I was bursting with joy. I finally have somepony to be with and with some time she’ll learn to love me. Whether Bubble Sun likes it or not. It was then I decided to take this filly in and make her mine. “Say, how about I take you in then I can be your guardian or maybe even more than that?” I asked excitedly but keeping my mouth straight. “I-I would love to um mommy.” Bubble Sun said with excitement and nervousness. I had to keep myself from jumping up and down. Nopony especially a filly has ever called me mommy before, and it felt extremely good. Oh the things I’ll do to her when we’ll be alone at my place. She wasn’t touching or breaking anything so I had nothing to worry about. I chuckled at her compliment on my house, it wasn’t that good or bad but I appreciated it anyway. And not too long I went back to the living room and placed our cups on the table, filled it with water, then put the teabags in each cup. “Why thank you dear, and you are free to call me by my name but mommy sounds better.” I sad giggling a little bit. Bubble Sun seemed pretty happy when she saw the tea which was good. “Oh I love tea mommy. Is it ready yet?” She said a little impatiently. I didn’t answer yet but it’s been a few minutes and it was indeed ready. “Yes it’s ready dear, you may drink it now.” I said with a small smile on my face. She smiled and nodded, then took a small sip of it. I took a sip of my own tea as I slowly watched her drink more of it. It was only a matter of time when she would be sleepy. And it looked like it worked too. “Mommy I’m going to go rest a bit over there…” Bubble Sun said sleepily as she went towards the couch as she started laying down then went to sleep soundly. Finally it’s done, my very own special somepony is with me. She is going to love what I have in store for her. “Sweet dreams sweetheart.” I said giggling. Did you sleep well?” I asked her. She looked a little confused but kept her cute smile. “Um I think so? But I’m a little scared of the dark. Could you please turn on the lights?” Bubble Sun said as she kept looking around. I could only smile at her cheerfully that I finally have her all to myself. “I’m afraid not honey, but don’t worry I just need you to lie down for me just a minute.” I said sweetly to her. She hesitated at first but did what I told her. As I went to one of the dark corners of the room I grabbed some rope and duct tape, then went back to the middle of the room. I tied the rope around each of her hooves. I was only going to use the duct tape when necessary if she started yelling. “Mommy what’s going on?! Why are you tying me up?” Bubble Sun said with fear in her voice. Which only made me giggle again as I was done tying her up. I took a few moments to savor every second of it. This filly wasn’t going anywhere unless I said so. And I couldn’t wait for her to love me. “You see sweetheart, mommy is rather lonely and sad since nopony wanted to love me. But when I saw you I just had to make you mine forever!” I said gleefully while looking at her with a big smile. She was now sad and scared, but that will change very soon. No matter what this filly will love me. “Y-You’re crazy Alto, that’s not how love is supposed to be!” Bubble Sun said with a scared but determination on her face. My mood then turned sour. Not only did she stopped calling me mommy but outright tried to lecture me on love. So I brought my hoof up and smacked her in the face. She looked stunned and afraid since I hit her, which meant that I wasn’t messing around. “W-Why did you hit me Alto? I thought you loved me?” She said with tears in her eyes. But this time I decided to punch her in the stomach, which she groaned in pain. I was going to keep getting violent unless she called me mommy. And as luck would have it she did eventually. She mumbled something but I didn’t hear it. “What was that sweetie? Speak a little bit louder.” I said encouraging her. She didn’t want to say it but had no choice in the matter. “I’m sorry mommy.” Bubble Sun said sadly. My mood was lifted back up in no time as I smiled again. I’m so glad that my little filly is learning. I decided to reward her with a passionate kiss on the lips. She was surprised and tried to fight back but it was no use. “There. See sweetheart? Although this wasn’t the first time I’ve seen her like this. A couple of months after we became friends, she was acting angry and sad a lot and tried her very best to hide it even if it was futile. No matter how hard she tried to hide her expressions and feelings, I could always see it. And it didn’t take me long at all to figured it out that Alto was jealous, sad, and angry at almost every mare that passed by whenever me and her would practice or walk together. And if I listened closely enough to what Alto said I could hear her whisper and mumble something like “why is she so pretty.” To things like “I’ll never be as good as her.” It was almost as if she worshipped and hated every mare, which I thought was really odd. So ever since then I would keep an eye on her, practice, and spend time with her whenever I could. However Alto did the same thing to me every now and then. Sometimes whenever I look and talk to her I can see her either being sad or jealous, but it’s usually both since she avoids looking at me directly sometimes. It was noon and I have plenty of free time today so I thought I’d be good for us to spend time together. So I started to go for her house after I made and ate breakfast. However on my way there I saw my marefriend Vinyl, so I decided to talk to her a little bit before I went to Alto’s house. “Why hello Vinyl, how are you doing?” I asked her happily. Vinyl never talked but I’ve already been with her for years and knew her expressions and gestures instantly. After she smiled and nodded I knew that she was doing good and hugged her. “Well I’m glad that you’re doing good dear.” I said with a smile. Vinyl then pointed at something behind me. I looked behind me and it was a medium sized store. After I turned back around she pointed to herself then back at the store. “Oh you’re going to go get some groceries?” I asked. She nodded again and I gave her a quick peck on the cheek and hugged her. “Ok Vinyl, I have to go and check on one of my friends. See you later!” I said as I smiled at her and went straight to Alto’s house. Finally at her house I knocked on the door. After a few minutes Alto opened the door and immediately put on a smile. Even though I knew it was a fake one. “Octavia, what a pleasant surprise! But what brings you here?” She asked. But there was something a little bit different about her though. Alto doesn’t usually smell like wine but this time however she did. And she was just a little bit itchy too as she started scratching her mane and body a few times here and there. “Um Equestria to Octavia are you there?” She asked nervously. I immediately snapped out of it. “Oh sorry Alto. But would you like to spend some time together again?” I asked with a small smile. Of course I started to read her face and at first she was a little annoyed but it immediately turned into a smile. I was worried and a little bit suspicious so I had to at least be with her to make sure she’s ok. “You don’t have to if you don’t want to.” I said. “Ha, well I am one of your best friends so I think that’s a good idea.” Alto said happily. But before I could say anything she started to say “But where exactly are we going?” She asked nervously again. Then I started to think about where we would go. And I knew a cafe that wasn’t too far away. Though I wasn’t sure if she would like it. “How about Celestial cafe?” I asked excitedly. It wasn’t new but it wasn’t old either so it’s been in Manehattan for a while now. And believe it or not Celestia came up with the name which I thought was kind of funny. I didn’t know what Alto would want but the cafe did have some tea so I’m sure she’ll be fine with it. I’ve been there myself a few times so I know my way inside it. “O-Oh there? I don’t think we should go there Octavia, especially with somepony like me…” Alto said with a depressed voice. I immediately started to worry even more. Did she do something bad there? Was there a fight? It was concerning. Then she looked at me sadly and said “I suppose it’s my fault since I couldn’t stop staring and touching…” and I think I know what she meant, but it couldn’t have been that bad right? With determination in me I stared at her calmly and said “Don’t worry Alto, if somepony has an issue with you then they’ll have to see me.” And Alto brightened up a little bit after I said that. Reluctantly she and I started making our way towards the cafe. I’m going to be there for her no matter what happens. After about 7 minutes we reached the cafe and went straight in. Everypony was talking, drinking, and sometimes reading from books. I looked to Alto beside me and she was extremely sad and didn’t look anywhere except the floor. However she looked up at me with a tiny smile and said “I’ll try and be good this time, hopefully at least.” I still didn’t know what happened but I was going to find out soon. Most of the tables were full but there was some that still remained empty. I spotted one by the window in the back. “Let’s take that one.” I said as we went to our table and took a seat. Alto however still looked upset and only stared at the table. So I decided to give her some encouraging words. “Stay strong Alto, remember that I’m staying with you.” I said with a smile. Alto smiled back but only a little bit before getting sad again. I really hope everything goes well today, especially for her. 5 minutes later a unicorn waitress came over to our table. “Ah Octavia, welcome back! And…” I didn’t recognize the waitress but I am pretty famous so it wasn’t surprising. However when she looked to my friend she had a frown on her face. Then stared back at me. “Well anyway, what would you two like?” She said with no emotion. Which I found weird since she just had some enthusiasm a moment ago. “I would just like some coffee with some sugar please.” I said. As the waitress pulled out her notepad with her magic she wrote it down swiftly. “And… her?” The waitress said to me rather rudely. Which was a little bit annoying but I kept calm. I already knew what Alto wanted but she was just a little bit faster for me to respond. “I-I’d like some tea with some sugar too p-please.” She said. And she was apparently scared for some reason. Did something happen? I could only ask in my head as I kept wondering. The waitress apparently found my friend’s scared face amusing. Then suddenly whispered something in Alto’s ear then said “Alright I’ll be back with your orders.” Then went away. Of course I was curious to know what happened to what my best friend was so upset about. “Alto what did she tell you?” I asked her worriedly. But she instantly looked even more scared after I asked that. Which was also concerning and suspicious but I decided to let it slide for the moment. “Nothing at all Octavia, everything is so completely fine haha!” Alto said in an unusual voice, which almost sounded like she lost it. And I’d have to worry about that too. But before we could talk about anything the waitress came back with our drinks. But something smelled bad, like really bad. And I knew exactly what it was but I was afraid to say it out loud. “Here’s your coffee, Octavia!” She said putting our drinks on the table. Of course I looked in my coffee and smelled it but nothing seemed wrong. Though Alto’s drink was where the smell was coming from. “And here is your special drink Miss!” The waitress said. “Hey Octavia, y-you can stay here and enjoy your drink. I’ll enjoy mines outside.” Alto said with worry this time. Then she suddenly ran out the cafe. “How much?” I said to the waitress. I was worried about my friend so I didn’t want to waste time. “Oh it’s on the house! Enjoy!” The waitress said. After a few minutes of finishing my coffee I left a tiny tip, regardless of it being free. Then I ran outside searching for my friend. Once I found Alto I was about to talk to her but it seems she finished her “drink” first before I could do anything. Then she looked at me with sadness and ran away again. “Alto wait!” But it was far too late. It probably had something to do with that waitress, but I didn’t bother to go back inside the cafe. I was upset and worried about Alto but I figured she needed some time alone. Almost caught and a shocking discoveryAuthor's Note In Twilight’s pov, enjoy. And sorry if there’s not much action Almost caught and a shocking discovery It was a little bit surprising when I received a letter from Octavia. She barely sends me any unless it’s an emergency, and it certainly was. Apparently Octavia was with Alto at the Celestial cafe, however something went wrong and she told me what it was, and it wasn’t good. Some unicorn waitress spit and urinated in Alto’s cup instead of tea which is very sick. I’m really glad that Octavia told me this because I’m going to give that waitress a piece of my mind. So after I read the letter that Octavia sent me I quickly but slowly went out of my room. Spike was there at a nearby desk reading a comic book. “Spike I’m going to Manehattan for a friend, do you think you can tell everypony and stay put here?” I said. “Sure thing Twilight, no worries just be careful.” Spike said with a smile. I have no doubts that my amazing number 1 assistant will handle things here. And he’s like a brother to me and I love and respect him wholeheartedly. “Thanks Spike, well I’ll see you later.” I said as I went outside and closed the front door. It was going to be a while to get there but I can handle it. I’m not sure why anypony would do something terrible to my friend but I am going to get some answers, one way or another. After a couple of hours, I’m finally in Manehattan. Though I’m really nervous because Alto gets rather jealous and sad a lot, which is uncomfortable for me but we’re still friends so it should be fine. Of course I teleported to Alto’s house instead of walking because I didn’t really feel like it. I knocked on the door and waited. I leaned against the the door for any hoofsteps or noises and didn’t hear anything, so I knocked again and waited. Minutes have passed and I still don’t hear anything, and after telling myself sorry I teleported into my friend’s house. Everything was clean except for the kitchen with tons of wine glasses everywhere. I never knew that Alto drinks a lot, maybe she’s coping or something. I exited out of the kitchen and went to my friend’s bedroom and knocked. “Alto are you okay? Octavia told me what happened and I’m really sorry you went through that.” I said with concern. After hearing nothing I opened the door into her room even if I didn’t have permission. However nothing was in her room except for some magazines that I didn’t know my friend liked. Alto’s magazines were a bunch of mares in skimpy outfits in suggestive poses. I blushed and looked away. I can’t blame her though, everypony has needs and urges after all. Then I quietly and slowly closed the bedroom door, and went straight to the hallway. After walking a few feet into the hallway I finally see my best friend. I had to at least try to find out. “Oh well I was studying a few books about history.” She said nervously. Well now I know that my best friend is a terrible liar. But I decided to save it for next time. “If you say so. Anyway do you know where that unicorn waitress is? Octavia told me from her letter on what happened and I wanted to question her about it.” I said sternly. “Oh… yes I do. You can check the address to her from my nightstand.” Alto said with a little sadness. It made me a little sad too to see my friend like this, if only Pinkie Pie was here. “Thanks Alto. And you should probably clean up your kitchen and maybe don’t leave your magazines out in the open when you’re done.” I said blushing a little. “Okay Twilight… I will clean up and I’m sorry you had to find out this way that I’m a hopeless pervert.” She said with tears forming in her eyes. After a few more minutes I was there in no time. I knocked on the front door and waited. After a few more minutes the door opened and it is a unicorn mare. But by we I meant Octavia, since she’s better than me. Because truth be told I still needed practice to do, but I was going to do it way later. But I couldn’t help but be envious of my best friend, because she had somepony that loves her and I don’t. “Well I’ll see you later Alto, have a good night.” Octavia said as she trotted and waved. I waved back of course but this time without the smile. And finally I was able to be alone with my thoughts. But somepony tapped on my shoulder and I was about to get angry until I turned around to my second best friend Twilight Sparkle. And thankfully I wasn’t angry anymore. “You and Octavia did a great performance today.” Twilight said smiling. I am also envious of her and how she’s basically a hero since she has saved Equestria. And has a lot more friends. But I keep those thoughts to myself and try to ignore it. However, her compliment of not just Octavia’s performance but mine too was very welcome. “Thank you very much Twilight, I’m just glad I got to play.” I said while smiling back at her. And it was a real smile, not a fake one. With that Twilight and I headed back outside then went towards my home. We talked about normal things like the weather, hobbies, and books. It was very enjoyable talking with her especially when it came to books. “So Alto, I’m free today. Do you want to spend time together.” Twilight said happily as we both arrived at my house. I wanted to be alone today but I suppose I could spend just a tiny bit of time together. I happily nodded as I opened my door for her to come in. Once we both headed inside, I started to make some tea. “I’m making tea Twilight, do you want some?” I said as she walked in the living room while I headed to the kitchen. I have no clue what she wants to do or even talk about but I’m sure it’ll be fine. I could hear Twilight humming a tune and flipping pages in her book, which I think is adorable of her. After a few minutes of finishing up the tea, i put them on a nearby tray and set the teacups with water. Last but not least I put the teabags in each cup. “Yes I would but only tw- oh you already did it without waiting for my answer.” Twilight said as she laughed a little. And I was a little embarrassed for it, but quickly shook it off. I knew Twilight loved tea and knew she only wanted two scoops of sugar. So I didn’t have to worry about anything yet. So we both talked a little and drank our delicious tea.

The Lucky Filly As Twilight finished her cup of tea, she said her goodbyes and left my home. Once she closed the door, I was finally able to stop smiling and right back to serious mode. After I observed her, I was wondering why a filly is out here by herself and didn’t know so I decided to go over and ask her myself. “Hello little filly, what’s your name?” I said while putting on a straight face. I didn’t really care to smile since my friends weren’t here. As I asked her what her name was she looked up at me with a small smile. If she didn’t have any parents or guardians then I could totally take her in and show her some love. “Um hello Miss, my name is Bubble Sun.” She said nervously while looking away from me. “If it’s not too much could I ask about your name?” Bubble sun said politely with a big smile. She just looked too cute, plus I love a filly with manners. “Of course dear, my name is Alto Harmonic. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” I said in a motherly tone. But I also had to know why this filly was by herself so I proceeded to ask her. “Forgive me if I’m being nosy, but why are you outside on the street looking sad all by yourself?” I said with little concern. Bubble Sun looked back at me with a surprisingly straight face, and I could tell she didn’t want me to know but did it anyway. “I don’t have any parents or a guardian, so I have no where else to go.” She said sadly. And it looks like she’s lucky because I’ll take good care of her, especially in bed. But I kept myself from smiling at such an opportunity for me. Before I could say anything else Bubble Sun continued a little bit more. “Since then I’ve been having to steal or take food and drinks from everypony without being seen.” She said painfully as she looked down to the floor. “Oh you poor thing, don’t worry about it. Your well being and secret are safe with me.” I said worriedly. But on the inside I was bursting with joy. I finally have somepony to be with and with some time she’ll learn to love me. Whether Bubble Sun likes it or not. It was then I decided to take this filly in and make her mine. “Say, how about I take you in then I can be your guardian or maybe even more than that?” I asked excitedly but keeping my mouth straight. “I-I would love to um mommy.” Bubble Sun said with excitement and nervousness. I had to keep myself from jumping up and down. Nopony especially a filly has ever called me mommy before, and it felt extremely good. Oh the things I’ll do to her when we’ll be alone at my place. She wasn’t touching or breaking anything so I had nothing to worry about. I chuckled at her compliment on my house, it wasn’t that good or bad but I appreciated it anyway. And not too long I went back to the living room and placed our cups on the table, filled it with water, then put the teabags in each cup. “Why thank you dear, and you are free to call me by my name but mommy sounds better.” I sad giggling a little bit. Bubble Sun seemed pretty happy when she saw the tea which was good. “Oh I love tea mommy. Is it ready yet?” She said a little impatiently. I didn’t answer yet but it’s been a few minutes and it was indeed ready. “Yes it’s ready dear, you may drink it now.” I said with a small smile on my face. She smiled and nodded, then took a small sip of it. I took a sip of my own tea as I slowly watched her drink more of it. It was only a matter of time when she would be sleepy. And it looked like it worked too. “Mommy I’m going to go rest a bit over there…” Bubble Sun said sleepily as she went towards the couch as she started laying down then went to sleep soundly. Finally it’s done, my very own special somepony is with me. She is going to love what I have in store for her. “Sweet dreams sweetheart.” I said giggling.
Call me Mommy SweetheartI picked up Bubble Sun’s body and headed for my secret basement under my home. I opened the door and put Bubble Sun’s unconscious body on the floor, then closed the door. Could you please turn on the lights?” Bubble Sun said as she kept looking around. I could only smile at her cheerfully that I finally have her all to myself. “I’m afraid not honey, but don’t worry I just need you to lie down for me just a minute.” I said sweetly to her. She hesitated at first but did what I told her. As I went to one of the dark corners of the room I grabbed some rope and duct tape, then went back to the middle of the room. I tied the rope around each of her hooves. I was only going to use the duct tape when necessary if she started yelling. “Mommy what’s going on?! Why are you tying me up?” Bubble Sun said with fear in her voice. Which only made me giggle again as I was done tying her up. I took a few moments to savor every second of it. This filly wasn’t going anywhere unless I said so. And I couldn’t wait for her to love me. “You see sweetheart, mommy is rather lonely and sad since nopony wanted to love me. But when I saw you I just had to make you mine forever!” I said gleefully while looking at her with a big smile. She was now sad and scared, but that will change very soon. Suspicion Alto was being very weird yesterday so I couldn’t help but start to worry and be suspicious about her. Although this wasn’t the first time I’ve seen her like this. A couple of months after we became friends, she was acting angry and sad a lot and tried her very best to hide it even if it was futile. No matter how hard she tried to hide her expressions and feelings, I could always see it. And it didn’t take me long at all to figured it out that Alto was jealous, sad, and angry at almost every mare that passed by whenever me and her would practice or walk together. And if I listened closely enough to what Alto said I could hear her whisper and mumble something like “why is she so pretty.” To things like “I’ll never be as good as her.” It was almost as if she worshipped and hated every mare, which I thought was really odd. So ever since then I would keep an eye on her, practice, and spend time with her whenever I could. However Alto did the same thing to me every now and then. Sometimes whenever I look and talk to her I can see her either being sad or jealous, but it’s usually both since she avoids looking at me directly sometimes. It was noon and I have plenty of free time today so I thought I’d be good for us to spend time together. So I started to go for her house after I made and ate breakfast. However on my way there I saw my marefriend Vinyl, so I decided to talk to her a little bit before I went to Alto’s house. “Why hello Vinyl, how are you doing?” I asked her happily. Vinyl never talked but I’ve already been with her for years and knew her expressions and gestures instantly. After she smiled and nodded I knew that she was doing good and hugged her. “Well I’m glad that you’re doing good dear.” I said with a smile. Vinyl then pointed at something behind me. I looked behind me and it was a medium sized store. After I turned back around she pointed to herself then back at the store. “Oh you’re going to go get some groceries?” I asked. She nodded again and I gave her a quick peck on the cheek and hugged her. “Ok Vinyl, I have to go and check on one of my friends. See you later!” I said as I smiled at her and went straight to Alto’s house. Finally at her house I knocked on the door. After a few minutes Alto opened the door and immediately put on a smile. Even though I knew it was a fake one. “Octavia, what a pleasant surprise! But what brings you here?” She asked. But there was something a little bit different about her though. Alto doesn’t usually smell like wine but this time however she did. And she was just a little bit itchy too as she started scratching her mane and body a few times here and there. “Um Equestria to Octavia are you there?” She asked nervously. I immediately snapped out of it. “Oh sorry Alto. But would you like to spend some time together again?” I asked with a small smile. Of course I started to read her face and at first she was a little annoyed but it immediately turned into a smile. I was worried and a little bit suspicious so I had to at least be with her to make sure she’s ok. “You don’t have to if you don’t want to.” I said. “Ha, well I am one of your best friends so I think that’s a good idea.” Alto said happily. But before I could say anything she started to say “But where exactly are we going?” She asked nervously again. Then I started to think about where we would go. And I knew a cafe that wasn’t too far away. Though I wasn’t sure if she would like it. “How about Celestial cafe?” I asked excitedly. It wasn’t new but it wasn’t old either so it’s been in Manehattan for a while now. And believe it or not Celestia came up with the name which I thought was kind of funny. I didn’t know what Alto would want but the cafe did have some tea so I’m sure she’ll be fine with it. I’ve been there myself a few times so I know my way inside it. “O-Oh there? I don’t think we should go there Octavia, especially with somepony like me…” Alto said with a depressed voice. I immediately started to worry even more. Did she do something bad there? Was there a fight? It was concerning. Then she looked at me sadly and said “I suppose it’s my fault since I couldn’t stop staring and touching…” and I think I know what she meant, but it couldn’t have been that bad right? With determination in me I stared at her calmly and said “Don’t worry Alto, if somepony has an issue with you then they’ll have to see me.” And Alto brightened up a little bit after I said that. Reluctantly she and I started making our way towards the cafe. I’m going to be there for her no matter what happens. After about 7 minutes we reached the cafe and went straight in. Everypony was talking, drinking, and sometimes reading from books. I looked to Alto beside me and she was extremely sad and didn’t look anywhere except the floor. However she looked up at me with a tiny smile and said “I’ll try and be good this time, hopefully at least.” I still didn’t know what happened but I was going to find out soon. Most of the tables were full but there was some that still remained empty. I spotted one by the window in the back. “Let’s take that one.” I said as we went to our table and took a seat. Alto however still looked upset and only stared at the table. So I decided to give her some encouraging words. “Stay strong Alto, remember that I’m staying with you.” I said with a smile. Alto smiled back but only a little bit before getting sad again. I really hope everything goes well today, especially for her. 5 minutes later a unicorn waitress came over to our table. “Ah Octavia, welcome back! And…” I didn’t recognize the waitress but I am pretty famous so it wasn’t surprising. However when she looked to my friend she had a frown on her face. Then stared back at me. “Well anyway, what would you two like?” She said with no emotion. Which I found weird since she just had some enthusiasm a moment ago. “I would just like some coffee with some sugar please.” I said. As the waitress pulled out her notepad with her magic she wrote it down swiftly. “And… her?” The waitress said to me rather rudely. Which was a little bit annoying but I kept calm. I already knew what Alto wanted but she was just a little bit faster for me to respond. “I-I’d like some tea with some sugar too p-please.” She said. And she was apparently scared for some reason. Did something happen? I could only ask in my head as I kept wondering. The waitress apparently found my friend’s scared face amusing. Then suddenly whispered something in Alto’s ear then said “Alright I’ll be back with your orders.” Then went away. Of course I was curious to know what happened to what my best friend was so upset about. “Alto what did she tell you?” I asked her worriedly. But she instantly looked even more scared after I asked that. Which was also concerning and suspicious but I decided to let it slide for the moment. “Nothing at all Octavia, everything is so completely fine haha!” Alto said in an unusual voice, which almost sounded like she lost it. And I’d have to worry about that too. But before we could talk about anything the waitress came back with our drinks. But something smelled bad, like really bad. And I knew exactly what it was but I was afraid to say it out loud. “Here’s your coffee, Octavia!” She said putting our drinks on the table. Of course I looked in my coffee and smelled it but nothing seemed wrong. Though Alto’s drink was where the smell was coming from. “And here is your special drink Miss!” The waitress said. “Hey Octavia, y-you can stay here and enjoy your drink. I’ll enjoy mines outside.” Alto said with worry this time. Then she suddenly ran out the cafe. “How much?” I said to the waitress. I was worried about my friend so I didn’t want to waste time. “Oh it’s on the house! Enjoy!” The waitress said. After a few minutes of finishing my coffee I left a tiny tip, regardless of it being free. Then I ran outside searching for my friend. Once I found Alto I was about to talk to her but it seems she finished her “drink” first before I could do anything. Then she looked at me with sadness and ran away again. “Alto wait!” But it was far too late. It probably had something to do with that waitress, but I didn’t bother to go back inside the cafe. I was upset and worried about Alto but I figured she needed some time alone.
Almost caught and a shocking discoveryAuthor's Note In Twilight’s pov, enjoy. And sorry if there’s not much action Almost caught and a shocking discovery It was a little bit surprising when I received a letter from Octavia. She barely sends me any unless it’s an emergency, and it certainly was. Apparently Octavia was with Alto at the Celestial cafe, however something went wrong and she told me what it was, and it wasn’t good. Some unicorn waitress spit and urinated in Alto’s cup instead of tea which is very sick. I’m really glad that Octavia told me this because I’m going to give that waitress a piece of my mind. So after I read the letter that Octavia sent me I quickly but slowly went out of my room. Spike was there at a nearby desk reading a comic book. “Spike I’m going to Manehattan for a friend, do you think you can tell everypony and stay put here?” I said. “Sure thing Twilight, no worries just be careful.” Spike said with a smile. I have no doubts that my amazing number 1 assistant will handle things here. And he’s like a brother to me and I love and respect him wholeheartedly. “Thanks Spike, well I’ll see you later.” I said as I went outside and closed the front door. It was going to be a while to get there but I can handle it. I’m not sure why anypony would do something terrible to my friend but I am going to get some answers, one way or another. After a couple of hours, I’m finally in Manehattan. Though I’m really nervous because Alto gets rather jealous and sad a lot, which is uncomfortable for me but we’re still friends so it should be fine. Of course I teleported to Alto’s house instead of walking because I didn’t really feel like it. I knocked on the door and waited. I leaned against the the door for any hoofsteps or noises and didn’t hear anything, so I knocked again and waited. Minutes have passed and I still don’t hear anything, and after telling myself sorry I teleported into my friend’s house. Everything was clean except for the kitchen with tons of wine glasses everywhere. I never knew that Alto drinks a lot, maybe she’s coping or something. I exited out of the kitchen and went to my friend’s bedroom and knocked. “Alto are you okay? Octavia told me what happened and I’m really sorry you went through that.” I said with concern. After hearing nothing I opened the door into her room even if I didn’t have permission. However nothing was in her room except for some magazines that I didn’t know my friend liked. Alto’s magazines were a bunch of mares in skimpy outfits in suggestive poses. I blushed and looked away. I can’t blame her though, everypony has needs and urges after all. Then I quietly and slowly closed the bedroom door, and went straight to the hallway. After walking a few feet into the hallway I finally see my best friend. However the strange thing was is that she was coming out of a hatch from one of the floors. And she was smiling like something very good happened. I shook my head from the surprise and fake coughed to get her attention. Alto turned around a little bit more to face me and immediately panicked. “T-Twilight it’s not what it looks like! I was just enjoying something, so nothing to worry about.” Alto said with fear. I wasn’t buying it but I had to know where that waitress lived but more importantly why my best friend is acting like she committed something awful. “What exactly were you doing down there Alto?” I asked her suspiciously. I had to at least try to find out. “Oh well I was studying a few books about history.” She said nervously. Well now I know that my best friend is a terrible liar. But I decided to save it for next time. “If you say so. Anyway do you know where that unicorn waitress is? Octavia told me from her letter on what happened and I wanted to question her about it.” I said sternly. “Oh… yes I do. You can check the address to her from my nightstand.” Alto said with a little sadness. It made me a little sad too to see my friend like this, if only Pinkie Pie was here. “Thanks Alto. And you should probably clean up your kitchen and maybe don’t leave your magazines out in the open when you’re done.” I said blushing a little. “Okay Twilight… I will clean up and I’m sorry you had to find out this way that I’m a hopeless pervert.” She said with tears forming in her eyes. I immediately gave her a hug and smiled. After that short hug I went back into the bedroom, looked on the nightstand, and quickly memorized the address. “It’s completely fine Alto, everypony has urges.” I said after going outside again. Hopefully what I said will make her feel better. This time I decided to walk over there to the address of the waitress’s house instead of teleporting, though I probably will eventually. After a few more minutes I was there in no time. I knocked on the front door and waited. After a few more minutes the door opened and it is a unicorn mare. She looks pretty decent but I’d give her a 6/10 at best. “May I help you?” The mare asked. She has a pretty high but nice voice. “Yes you can Miss…” I said stopping for her to introduce herself. “Sail Scope.” Sail said. “Well Miss Scope, I have a certain matter to discuss with you.” I said sternly. So this is the mare that messed with my friend. She better have a good explanation. “Oh sure come in.” Sail said nervously as I entered her house and closed the door for us. The inside of Sail’s house was a little bit fancy but I didn’t really care. The only thing that matters is finding out why she would do such a thing to my friend. We decided to go into the living room and took a seat at a couple of chairs across from each other. “I know what happened at the cafe Miss Scope. And you’re going to tell me why right now.” I said coldly. “Oh come on, she deserved it. After all she is a perverted loser with nopony to love.” Sail said chuckling. I couldn’t believe what she just said. I wanted to smack her in the face but Celestia wouldn’t approve of it. “Do you know who I am Miss Scope?” I asked her with a glare. “No I don’t.” She said unfazed. “Well let me enlighten you. I’m Twilight Sparkle, Celestia’s student.” I said while still glaring into the mare’s eyes. “O-Oh well your friend still deserved it for touching herself while looking at me in the library!” Sail shouted. But I could feel that she was afraid. However what she told me was shocking, I didn’t expect Alto to do that in front of a mare in a public place. “Did my friend really do that?” I said still shocked. It was disturbing but I guess anything is possible. “Yes she did. You can go and see the librarian if you want some proof.” Sail said. I will have to talk with Alto the next time I visit her again. “Well I don’t believe it yet but if it’s true then I apologize for my friend’s behavior. Goodbye.” I said teleporting and leaving Sail’s house.
Limited freedomAuthor's Note This will be in Alto’s pov again. Without further ado enjoy Limited freedom I did exactly what Twilight said and cleaned up my messy kitchen and cleaned up my bedroom from my personal magazines. It was still a surprise how she almost caught me, which I will try to be more careful at. However Twilight isn’t easily fooled so she probably figured out that I’m hiding something. I can’t let her or Octavia find out, after all I finally have a special somepony and I won’t give up. Well at least I finally have some alone time for me and my marefriend, which hopefully won’t be interrupted this time. It’s a good thing that the way to my basement is soundproof so nopony would suspect anything. As I went back to the hatch from the hallway I immediately opened it, went in, and closed it behind me. Since Octavia and Twilight are more suspicious I decided to lock the hatch just in case. Now me and my love Bubble Sun can be alone again. There wasn’t a lot of stairs from the basement so it didn’t take long at all to reach the basement door. As I opened and closed the basement door Bubble Sun is sitting there in the middle of the room still tied up with an angry look on her face. “So who was that mommy?” Bubble asked with some anger. No matter how angry she is I am going to love her no matter what. But I’m glad she’s being cooperative, which will be rewarded with more time. As i went closely to the cell I heard Alto’s voice and somepony else's which sounded familiar. I decided to hide and eavesdrop. “So Miss Polomare, do you mind telling me how you got here.
