Fallout Equestria: Shattered

2 years before the megaspells dropped, a 18 year old mare by the name of Polly Brain was employed by Stable-Tech due to her high intelligence, the fact she'd finished top of her classes with multiple majors and scores no one had seen before, and her incredible ability to think outside the box. When hired she became a leading scientist for the company, and she worked diligently in her new position, seemingly on the daily coming up with many things to improve how the stables worked and to make them more secured. Stable-Tech were beyond impressed and as her first year of employment went by she'd been rapidly promoted higher and higher in the company, however Polly was also a mystery in Stable-Tech.
She always kept away from any casual goings on at the workplace, or really just away from anyone and everyone, preferring to focus on her work and only interact when absolutely necessary. She'd have her lunch at her lab so to avoid any reason to go to the café, and she always manages to leave and arrive without anyone really seeing her or paying much notice. Her hard work was extremely appreciated by the hire ups, however said hire ups never really had a chance to get to know here better as she'd always decline most meetings that didn't relate to her work or what position she was to be promoted to next. Even when invited by Sweetie Bell a few times to party's and vip getaways, she'd always decline.
Seemingly to everyone who knew of her in Stable-Tech, whilst she was highly intelligent and great at her job, she seemed to be a ghost as no one knew of her outside of work, well at least from Stable-Tech anyway, however Polly Brain was doing the one thing creatures of high intelligence, such as herself, tended to do: talk less and do more. She did actually have a life outside of Stable-Tech, in her personal life no one knew of, she lived with her friend, and secret lover,Kindle Warmth. They had known eachother since foalhood and grew extremely close, however they'd never show their love in public out of fear of being bullied and harassed by others like they'd been throughout their foalhoods together.
Kindle Warmth had always stuck up for her, but ended up getting beaten and verbally abused just as badly as Polly Brain. Whilst she wasn't as intelligent as her close friend and lover, she was a very kind and caring soul, when she moved in with Polly, Kindle opted to be the "Stay At Home Marefriend" as it was clear to her Polly had a hard time juggling so much even with her high intellect. She soon settled into the role and found it to be right for her, whilst not her special talent, she was definitely good at taking care of the things Polly struggled to juggle. Now Kindles talent really was in her being the way she was: extremely soothing and comforting when with her. Kindle's fur was exceptionally great at relieving others of high tension or stress, which would soon prove important for the near future.
The 2 had been living together since a month after Polly got hired, and since then they've been enjoying their lives more than ever aside from Pollys grumbling from work. However the day of their 1 year anniversary and Polly Brain's 1st year of being a Stable-Tech employee would end up changing their lives forever, Polly on this day returned around 2pm as she wanted to be home to spend time with her Marefriend on their anniversary.

"Honey, I'm home!" she wise cracked, Kindle, who was in the kitchen chuckled at this as Polly hung her coat on the coat hanger and trotted to sit down on the sofa, when she noticed a letter from Stable-Tech, to which she groaned and mumbled to herself as she opened the letter.

"I swear they need to leave me alone on all this party and casual meeting talk, especially Sweetie Bell, that mare can go-", but before she could finish her statement she realized what the letter said, her marefriend entered the room with 2 cups of warm tea, setting them on the table before noticing Pollys gobsmacked expression.

"Polly, are you alright?" she asked. Polly snapped out of her expression, looking to her marefriend with an excited grin.

"Stable-Tech are rewarding me for all my hard work by allowing me complete ownership of a Stable, specifically Stable 111, which is located not too far from our house!" she squeed afterwards and Kindle soon embraced her.

"I'm so happy for you Polly, this is the first time you've been excited from a Stable Tech letter." she said as the snuggle soon calmed Pollys excitement in a good way, no matter what she always enjoyed being snuggled with Kindle, it brought intense relief and comfort she always needed.

"Thanks Kindle, I'm just glad it wasn't another invite, and I'm here with you." Polly and Kindle shared a passionate kiss before settling on the couch, wrapped in nice warm blankets, and toasting to their anniversary. Afterwards they drank Kindles sweet tea, giving them great warmth within their body's.
Once they were done they once again snuggled with eachother, Kindle enjoying Pollys plump, chubby and jiggly body, and Polly enjoying the feeling of Kindles head pressing against her diaphragm with that nice soothing silky fur that helped her relax and lighten her spirits greatly. The two soon dozed off for a very nice nap together. Polly and Kindle awoke 2 hours later feeling indescribably amazing, and very aroused as Kindle, tending to not have her head straight after naps, groped her lovers flanks very suggestively causing Polly to giggle and blush rapidly as the 2 then got up to get frisky in their bedroom. When they do get frisky, it's actually Kindle who tended to be the "dominant" one in the bed, being able to endlessly toy and play with Pollys body in a way that rendered her helpless until her and Kindles bodies "ran out of juice." which tended to be an hour before they were content.
After their frisky activity the 2 went and got their own showers, Polly usually needing help from Kindle since she tended to be left very easily drained all together from their frisky activities and combined with her husky body made it very difficult for her to move afterwards. Kindle didn't mind, she'd grown used to this ever since their first time in the bed, it meant she could keep fondling Pollys body, just mainly to clean it is all. After Pollys shower Kindle helped her to the couch before going back to get her shower. Once done and all dried off she headed to the kitchen to cook the dinner they'd have together whilst Polly was napping. Kindle usually made something with lots of butter and cheeze for any dinner for Polly at least, as that was Pollys favorite type of food. Whilst she did Polly would smell it when napping and it gave her both great relief and excitement. After Kindle finishes dinner, she'd bring it over for her and Polly to enjoy, with Polly awakening to enjoy the cheesy and buttery concoction her mare friend made this time, which was potatoes with melted cheese and butter in a bowl.
She began to eat her food whilst Kindle ate her salad, as Kindle watched her mare friend eat, she coo'd quietly, always finding it adorable when Polly ate her food (Imagining her being eaten out by her next time they went frisky). Her favorite part though was when her partner was done eating, her mouth having butter on her lips and mouth, the smell of her breath after being exhausted beyond belief, her body's subtle movements as she stayed in her sitting stance, her even more expanded flanks and belly from the immediate after effects of eating, and the sweat dripping from her thighs and chin.
Once dinner was finished the two stayed on the couch for the rest of the day to take a nap and enjoy each other's company, all wrapped up in blankets and coo'd up together. The perfect way to end their anniversary in their quiet life togethe, little did they know that after this day, things would be closer to never truly being the same.
