A Hell Coming to the Homestead,
Epilogue.

Shining and Mac carefully carried Ben's unconscious body through Canterlot, bringing him inside the Canterlot Hospital. Celestia, Twilight, Spike, Trixie, Venus, the girls, Velvet, Nightlight and Cadence watched as Ben's unconscious body was set onto a gurney and wheeled into the examination room. Things weren't looking good, and Velvet was feeling very protective right now, squeezing Twilight in a hug as she tried not to burst into tears.

"So, you four, you somehow got down there when none of us saw you go through the entrance, and thus, you were the last normal ponies to see what was on down there... What exactly happened down there?" Venus asked.

"We honestly have no idea. Ben told us to get out of there, he stayed behind, and well, for all I know, he pulled out some super secret awesome technique that showed that black gooey mass what for!" Dash theorized.

Venus's eyes glowed red, and soon enough, so did Dash's. She stopped moving, and the two mares stayed like that for a good moment. When both of their eyes returned to normal, Venus sighed and slapped the mare. "That's for lying to a guard. I can't believe that moron just sacrificed himself like that... What was his plan exactly, and how did it work?"

Celestia walked over to Venus, observing the mare curiously. "I've never seen an Earth Pony use magic like this before, pray tell, where did you come from, my little pony?"

"That's not important, right now. What's important is figuring out if that doofus is gonna pull through. I've seen and done some reckless things in my time, but nothing I have done or seen comes close to how that moron probably got himself killed! He willingly let himself go into the jaws of the beast!" Venus wondered, getting frustrated at how this one human, the only human to be seen at all, was probably going to die in that room, and he was gonna die a hero.

"He's not going to die! He's stronger than that, he just pushed himself too hard, he's probably just exhausted! He- H-He's not going to die!" Velvet's voice cracked as tears welled up in her eyes. Nightlight held Velvet in his embrace as Twilight wiggled free, holding Spike in hers.

What soon followed sent shivers up everypony's spines. Screams, muffled screams and whinnies echoed out behind the doors, all while a green light was flashing. The doors swung open as several doctors and nurses clamored to the side, terrified. A set of footsteps echoed from the opened doors. From the door way slumped Ben's body, which then collapsed to the floor, slowly crawling.

"Yo, a little help here? I can't seem to feel my legs. Oh dear Celestia, this hurts." Ben grunted.

"Ben!!" Twilight immediately rushed to the human's side, and for a second time, Celestia smiled, feeling a sense of deja vu run through her, seeing Twilight help the human up. It reminded her of a much simpler time.

"You deranged doofus, what were you doing tonight!? Do you know how worried all of us were!" Twilight berated, hugging the human tightly as he tried to use her for support to stand up.

"I was doing what I was best at... I finally get it. I know why I have these powers, now. It's my calling in life, it's to help people, to do what's right, to do the things no one else can or will do... to be a hero!" Ben explained, feeling like he finally had a realization.

The ponies cheered, Ben was pulled into a swift group hug with the ponies from Ponyville.

"I don't understand, though. How are you alive?" Venus asked.

"That, I actually don't know. I remember seeing a bright light, I was going towards it, but the next thing I know, there's a light behind me. It's glowing green, and for some reason, I knew I had to go to the green light. Before I knew it, I heard screaming and whinnies, and I could barely feel my legs long enough to get to the door way." Ben explained nonchalantly. He didn't actually know what happened, but that was probably the best description he could come up with.

"Well, you sure gave us quite the scare, young man! Don't you ever scare your mother like that again!" Velvet stated sternly, hugging Ben tightly.

"Speaking of which, was everything fixed? I don't wanna go back out there, just to see a horde waiting for me." Ben said with a chuckle.

"Everything was fixed. I'm not sure how you did it, Benjamin, but somehow, you managed to cure those who were blighted by the Eldritch Parasite. I'm, needless to say, very impressed, and very much intrigued with your continued development, Mister Sparkle." Celestia reassured with a smile.

Ben looked at the Omnitrix, seeing it glow a real dark red. "I'm not gonna be transforming again anytime soon, huh?" Ben chuckled. "Good, I'd like to take one more break from the transforming for a while."

"Well, you do that. I'm going to go pack my things and leave, Canterlot is just too chaotic for this showmare! The Great and Powerful Trixie will make a comeback, and I have Ben to thank for not just saving Trixie's great and powerful life, but also renewing her passion for showmareship." Trixie stated, tipping her hat as she trotted out of the hospital.

[Out of Time, Space, and Reality]

"Another break?! Does he not know of the dangers that await him?! His Amnesia is really becoming a problem, much like a re-occurring inconvenience... I may have to interfere. But how do I do that without that Draconiq- D-Dragoneq- Draconequus, from interfering..."
