Heavy booming footfalls joined the howls and screeches of the Dracnae, whom were descended from the Gorgons, and Hellhounds. "Oh, you aren't going to be that fortunate, boy. Both of you and the Norse brat… are going to die slowly and painfully… then… my Furies get to play with what's left," a rumbling voice growled. "And I will be taking back my Claws," he snapped as the grates of his helm ignited, glowing ominously.

Joseph's eyes narrowed fractionally before he pushed off with surprising speed, a trail of golden fire surging behind him before Kratos blinked at a glint of gold beneath the wrinkled odd pants his Descendant wore before he tackled one of the Dracnae with a sickening wet crunch, though Kratos only cocked an eyebrow, noticing arcs of golden white electricity crackling around his Descendant. It was not a talent he was familiar with, he noted immediately as his Descendant spun behind the Dracnae, grabbed its tail and started spinning, using it as a flail. Numerous crunches, yelps and screeches of pain followed before his Descendant, with a mighty heave, hurled the dazed Dracnae straight at Hades himself, whose obese form detonated in a cloud of dark fog that snuffed out all the burning braziers but those near Kratos' throne.

"No offense intended, Lord Hades, but I have no intention of dying over a centuries if not millennia old grudge. For a deity for his wisdom and negotiation talents, wouldn't you say holding a grudge for…" Joseph sighed, glancing back at Kratos.

"Eight thousand, six hundred and seventy four years," Kratos deadpanned in a dry, gruff growl.

Joseph blinked at that. "Damn… that's a long fucking time. But I'm pretty certain that holding a grudge for that long is more childish than the fact that Zeus was a man-whore and I honestly respect Hera for putting up with his sorry ass for as long as she did," he said softly.

"He killed Persephone," Hades snarled.

"Whom conspired with Atlas to drop all of the Earthly plane on top of the Underworld which would have not only destroyed the Earthly plane and everything and everyone on it, but the Underworld and Olympus to boot. Can you really say, if Zeus had known of her plans, that he wouldn't have done the same fucking thing?" Kratos barked sharply before his Descendant took over, raising a thought he hadn't even considered.

The snuffed out braziers ignited with a sudden cold blue flame, revealing Hades glaring at them.

He glared at them for several minutes before he sighed, his hand flicking as his hand swiped away dark blood upon his chest, the Dracnae lying splattered on the floor in front of him. "In all likelihood, he would have. He was that anal as Chronos did warn him…" he sighed.

"That as Chronos took down his father Ouranos, and Zeus himself did Chronos, that one would rise to depose Zeus himself. Funny how, unknown to him, there was one Titan free… and I don't mean Lady Rhea… but one accepted as an Olympian," Joseph commented wryly with a smirk.

He noticed both deities looking at him with intrigued looks. "Think about it. There are many stories regarding demigods and deities… but there's one in particular that there isn't a real story about," he commented before his eyes widened slightly upon spotting one particular painting.

Author's Note

It appears Kratos, outwardly, is unaware of the games detailing his past exists. And it's presently clear that Joseph has one of Atreus' talents implied in the Nordic Myths, his 'silver tongue'. It also appears that the Greek Deities know of the stories of their past, yet they are unaware of the details.
