Chapter 5

I awoke in my quadrupedal with Fluttershy by my side. She looked scared, but mostly concerned. It's either the next day or this is a new reload. The though of it sent intense dread down my spine. "Fluttershy, I have to tell you something about today."

"I know, but it's all been a nightmare."

"But...If it was a nightmare, how would you know?"

"we kind of peaked into your dreams...please don't be mad..."

I cover my eyes in shame as I start to cry, "I'm so sorry for what I had to do...I'm sorry..." I continued to whisper I'm sorry for a bit before she placed her hooves and wings around me, and gave me a hug. I hugged her back the best I could.

"It's alright. It was just a dream. None of it really happened so please stop crying." She said as she rubbed my back. Her voice is so soothing... I fell asleep in her arms after a few minutes.

Fluttershy felt bad about the burden kuro would have to carry if such a creature did come to equis. She gave him a few pets and stayed by his side. Wondering how he would stay sane enough to remember himself through so many painful deaths, being forced to remember each one.

"So has he woken up?" Celestia asked.

"He did but he fell back asleep." Twilight replied.

"How do ya reckon he copes with all that?" Applejack asked.

"That's not of importance. Even in a dream state, he had access to untold power, and if that thing he fought is as exactly as he remembers, then its power is truly terrifying. Even when he unlocked the rest of his powers, he almost didn't survive." Luna remarked.

"Either way we need to bring him here. Twilight, could you do that?" Celestia asks.

"Sure thing."

45 minutes later

"I'm going to see what he's dreaming about at the moment." Luna said. Everyone nodded their heads. In Kuro's dream, he was just living peacefully in some kind of empty space. She decided that this is the chance to find out his true nature. She made him dream of the people of pony vile belittling him and dissing him. This didn't seem to bother him as he expected it. She pushed hard and made the dream days go by fast. Eventually she saw a darkness bubbling up and kept pushing to investigate. It seemed like the darkness was about to explode but instead he seemed to slow down. As she kept pushing more, making the dream treat him worse, he started to shut down and the darkness stayed the same. He was sacrificing his own energy to keep it down. Right when it looked like Kuro was about to break, she was brought back to reality when her sister yelled her name. "What's the matter... What is that?"

I gain consciousness and I feel like crap. Although I hear a familiar electrical crackling. I open my eyes and see Sam. The purple lighting appearing and disappearing around her body while making the soft crackling sound. Sam is a kitsune that I created with my magic and she would only appear uncalled if she thought I was in serious danger. She is twice my current size. Her golden irises scan the room.
