Dear [Insert],by PetalledChaptersChapter 1Chapter 2Chapter 3Chapter 5Chapter 6Chapter 4Chapter 1The sounds of a quill scratching against paper were heard, Celestia eyeing the piece of parchment in front of her trying to come up with ways how to start a letter with someone after so long of being distant over paper. She was merely doodling whatever on the piece of paper as she waited for her thoughts to naturally flow. Her body was warm, the fiery colors of red, orange, and yellow oscillated on the other side of the room as her fireplace. It spread warmth and light all throughout the room. Dear Princess Twilight, She gently put down her quill, thinking that it was too formal. She wanted a good-natured relationship between the two just like always even if Twilight would most likely blow up for her role model. And so, she put a line over the word 'princess' before scrunching the whole parchment up into a ball and throwing it into a nearby trashcan. Getting out a fresh new one, she started writing again. Dear Twilight, How have you been? I'm sorry we haven't been in touch lately. So have you got any interesting stories you would like to share? Knowing you, you would probably like to but I don't know if you've changed that about yourself. I'm sorry for not being there. Keeping being you. Yours, Celestia Celestia smiled and nodded, rolling the parchment up into a tube before dematerializing it away out the window in green flames using her magic. She looked out the window to see the little town before her. A scroll interrupted Twilight's view as Spike burped it out, lifting up her head from her book. She took it in her magic and started reading through it. Seconds later, she lowered it down and frowned. She turned to Spike, entreating him to go fetch for some quill, ink, and parchment. In a flash, he went away. Not even a second went by, Spike came back with the following equipment he was asked to bring to her. Twilight levitated the items and thanked him with a smile before turning to her parchment, trying to think of what to write. She wasn't normally speechless but since it was about a letter from her role model telling how they've been distant lately, Twilight didn't know what to say. And so, she merely went with whatever came to mind. Dear Princess Celestia, I have been good, actually, but could be better if I had you around in my life still. But it wasn't your fault so don't blame yourself. I'm sorry for not writing letters to you after you made me into an alicorn but may I ask: what took you so long exactly to tell me that we've been distant? Anyways, I was just separating Applejack and Rainbow Dash away from their little arguments again. Even if I'm not an AppleDash shipper, I still don't want my friends arguing. I'm more or less a Rarijack shipper. Heck, you remember that sleepover I had with them? That's when I started dreaming sex dreams of them. Ask your sister. She told me she enjoyed them too. Yours, Twilight Signing off with her name, Twilight hoofed over the scroll to Spike to have him breathe green flames over it and send it out the window, waiting for a reply from the princess. Celestia lowered the letter down and began writing down her reply. My Dearest Twilight, I fear my sister had already told me about the sex dreams of your two friends. As horny as my sister is, she told me she wished she had some sort of device that allowed her to record ponies' dreams. While I'm also a Rarijack shipper, I prefer to respect ponies' privacy. I've also forgotten to tell you that when you became an alicorn you start to feel a sense of horniness inside of you. Your body is developing and maturing but it's nothing to worry about. Think of it as going through puberty all over again. Your Former Teacher, Princess Celestia Letting out a chuckle, Celestia rolled her parchment up into a scroll and used her magic to send it out the window in literal green flames. In a spark of golden light, Celestia's magic took hold of a book lying somewhere in Twilight's castle library as she had given to her for her two former pupils to write with each other about an ancient threat occurring until they started eagerly writing back and forth. Celestia hugged the book tight, memories pushing into her mind. She looked at the front cover where an image of her cutie mark was designed upon. She smiled, flipping through its pages where her two former pupils were writing to each other but then flipped to the very front where Celestia herself was writing to Sunset Shimmer herself before having to let her go to another world. A frown wrinkled up her face and she sighed. She picked up her quill, dipped it in the inkpot, and started writing on a fresh new page in the journal. My Little Sun, I know it's indignant of me to try and talk to you after so long of not, but I just want to let you know that I'm sorry. Sorry for being impatient towards you when you tried so hard, so hard to make some friends. I'm sorry I didn't see this. But anyway, how have you been doing over there? It's fine if you don't write back, but anything would be great just to hear you rambling on a new spell learned, you laughing at your own jokes... I'm sorry. I screwed up. Signed, Celestia Dealleviating the tension off her shoulders, Celestia brought out a big breath and waited for a reply, hoping so desperately that there would be one. From the other world, Sunset was laughing at a table with her friends all around. Suddenly, something vibrated in her bag causing her to stand up and excuse herself from the table. She went somewhere where she could find it private and peaceful. Taking out a book from her backpack, the book lighted up golden and not like the magenta that she had always been receiving. This one was where she had never been received in such a long time judging by the wrinkles forming on her face. Dear Sweet Celestia... A part of her still felt angry towards her mentor for bringing this faith upon her, but another part of her felt grateful. Grateful that she was able to make a wonderful group of friends all because of her mentor and... Twilight who she was jealous of. Sunset took a breath and got out a pen, clicking it and writing some words down on the next side of the page. Princess Celestia, I... I'm so sorry. I'm sorry for turning my back against you, I... It wasn't your fault! So stop blaming yourself all the time. It was I that said all those things towards you, I... didn't mean them. I... was just so, so angry. I know I had the right to be, but... it was no excuse for my poor behavior against you. But I'm on a new page now. But it's always been empty without you on my side but now you're here. So thank you. This message meant a lot to me, reading it. Thanks, Sunset Sunset smiled through her teary face, the free-flowing tears that were strolling down her cheeks were being wiped away, and went back to join her circle of friends. The scroll blasted out from Spike's mouth as he burped after he finished draping a blanket over the alicorn's body sleeping on the couch. Not wanting to wake her up, Spike took this upon himself to reply to the princess himself. It has been a long time between the three of them. And so, Spike got out a quill, ink, and parchment before letting thoughts flow through his mind to write them down on the piece of parchment, dipping the quill into the ink. Dear Princess Celestia, This is Spike writing to you as Twilight is unavailable to do so as she is currently sleeping so I have taken this upon me to catch up with you that was also my teacher. And don't worry. Twilight adored you ever since she was a filly and still does. There's no way you'll ever be able to disappoint her. I'm pretty sure Twilight would go insane when she finds out she didn't know about something before. But... I don't know if it's a wing-creature thing but when I got my wings I started feeling horny ever since then too. Mostly towards Rarity, obviously. Anyways, we never did talk to each other that much, did we? I remember when Twilight hatched me you took me under your wing before giving me to Twilight to look after herself as part of a 'test' for her. You said I was too much of a claw full. Heh. Who could blame you? But I feel as if you focused too much on Twilight that you forgot to focus on me too. Shining and Twilight never thought of me as their little brother, just a friend or pet or companion or assistant or slave or sex slave. Heck, there are so many things to call me apart from 'brother'. I'm sorry. For ranting. Towards you. It's not your fault. Your Equestrian Dragon Citizen, Spike Spike wiped his tears away and slowly smiled before breathing green flames over the rolled parchment, sending it out the window as he laid down next to Twilight on the couch. When Celestia put down the letter, a string of sorrow and regret washed over her. She never really could remember the time when he was in the picture with her and the others. It would always just be Celestia and Twilight with her friends. A frown marred her face, lifting a quill into the air and dipping it in the inkpot before jotting words down on the flattened out parchment. Dear Spike, I'm sorry. Yours, Celestia Celestia sighed and rolled the parchment into a tube before dematerializing it into green flames out the window, settling herself on the rug beneath her and ruffling her wings. She inwardly declared to herself that this was going to be the final letter she would send for today. Chapter 2 Dear Sunset Shimmer, We may not properly know each other due to my thousand-year exile but my sister has told me such wonderful things about you, believe me. Much like Twilight, she spoke so fondly of you; the lessons she had taught you but I could also feel a sense of remorse embedded within her words. Forgive me but she has told me about where the two of you separated. While I don't blame you, I don't blame my sister either. Again, forgive me for my bluntness but you were in the wrong and so was my sister. We all have misunderstandings like the time I turned my back on my own sister, much like how you did with her. My sister tends to... forget to acknowledge those who are important to her. I see myself a lot within you, Sunset Shimmer, and this is why I have written to you. To have you be taught under my wing. I'll teach you everything your ambition wants you to know and I'll even help you channel your ambition. Hopefully, you accept this gracious offer. Yours Soon-To-Be Teacher, Princess Luna of the Night When Sunset took her gaze away from her journal, she closed the book closed and hugged it tight to her chest while also breathing a sigh. ''So, then, is that a yes or a no?'' Spike asked, standing next to her. Sunset looked at him, nuzzling him in awe. ''Should I?'' ''I think you should,'' he offered. ''That way you can rule the night over there while Twilight rules the day! You can both be the next sun and moon princesses!'' Sunset rolled her eyes and chuckled. ''I'm pretty sure I've learned to never let my ambition get ahold of me.'' She then turned to open her journal and glanced at the text. I'll even help you to channel your ambition. Sunset thought about it for a half-second before clicking her pen and writing her answer on the page. I would gladly accept. She sighed and brought herself and Spike to lay on the grass. Twilight trotted back and forth, waiting for her friend to come through the mirror placed in front of her in her castle library. Soon, the mirror vibrated and had a yellow unicorn with a fiery mane come out of it. ''You're here!'' she exclaimed, coming forward to hug the unicorn. ''It's been so long. How have you been?'' Sunset used her friend to balance herself on two hooves before going on all fours. ''I've been better actually,'' she replied. ''What about you? How's princess life? Must be really special to be up there.'' Twilight's ears fell. ''About that,'' she said. ''I'll tell you later. Right now, Princess Luna wants you. It was so thoughtful of her to take you under her wing.'' ''Yeah, but I'm also sorta nervous,'' Sunset said. ''What if I fail her just like I failed Celestia?'' ''First of all, you never failed Celestia. You were just... misguided and angered. And I doubt you'll fail your next teacher after learning about friendship from the best teacher there is.'' Twilight winked her eyebrows at her. Sunset pulled away from her. ''Anyway, let's get going.'' Twilight nodded and led her friend out the library's doors. ''You wouldn't mind if I teleport us there, do you?'' ''Not at all,'' Sunset offered. ''Teleport the way!'' She smiled and closed her eyes, concentrating. A glow of magenta illuminated her horn, and in a spark of light, they disappeared from the library and reappeared in the Canterlot throne room. ''Whew. Haven't done that in a long time,'' said Sunset, glancing up to see who was in front of her. ''Uh, Twi? A little help here.'' Twilight got up from the ground and looked at the Princess of the Night herself. ''Luna, meet Sunset and Sunset, meet Luna.'' ''Charm,'' Luna said, taking her hoof out. Sunset merely stared at it, being nudged to place her hoof atop by Twilight. And then she did. ''My sister has told me so much about you,'' Luna began after an awkward silence. ''She said you've been doing well in that other world with Twilight's friends' counterparts.'' ''Yes, I have,'' Sunset replied, turning to look at Twilight for support. Luna noticed this. ''Twilight, I hate to have you be standing here doing nothing so you can go help my sister with her duties. She'll be in the other room.'' ''Right. Of course.'' Twilight bowed before stepping out. Luna turned to Sunset. ''We shall no need for formalities. I even informed Starlight Glimmer, maybe you've heard of her, to come and join us.'' ''Twilight's student. Oh, I know who she is. Yeah, she's pretty dope.'' A knock occurred at the door before Luna could point out this new vocabulary she had not caught up with yet. She allowed the guards to open it and a lavender unicorn sheepishly walked in. ''Princess Luna,'' she said as she entered in, catching the sight of... ''Sunset Shimmer.'' ''Hi Starlight,'' Sunset greeted, relieved. ''I'm so glad to have someone else with me along.'' Luna neatly tucked her wings away and began speaking: ''As you both probably know, I've decided to take you two under my wing much like how my sister did with your friend Twilight.'' Sunset put up her hoof. ''Twilight became an alicorn princess... will Starlight and I become too?'' ''Perhaps,'' Luna offered. ''Perhaps, the two of you could take over our thrones one day but we don't want our hopes and ambitions up, do we?'' She eyed Sunset especially. ''After all, we're here to channel them.'' ''Yes, Princess Luna,'' Sunset and Starlight both said in unison. ''Now,'' Luna said, ''we'll be meeting in pony whenever you need to take a test or there's a spell I want to teach you. You two will be sending me reports on the magic of friendship. Sound familiar?'' Starlight scratched her head. ''Twilight told me she did this with her mentor.'' ''Mhm.'' Sunset nodded. ''I sent reports to Princess Celestia about magic, not friendship. I think reports on friendship started with Twilight.'' ''Guess she really is special,'' Starlight mumbled as she chuckled alongside Sunset. ''That is all,'' Luna said as she put up her hoof and splayed out her wings to dismiss the two unicorns, the double doors opening in her magic to let the two out. Over time, Sunset and Starlight would write letters back and forth much like how the former would with Twilight. Sunset and Starlight sent reports on the magic of friendship to their mentor Princess Luna as instructed. Luna sat in her lounge, reading through scrolls sent to her by Starlight through Spike's fire breath and her sister's journal where she could contact Sunset. Dear Princess Luna, Today I learned that no matter how many times your Great and Powerful friend annoys you, you should never, ever, EVER pour your anger out on them as it will break apart the friendship and make matters worse. Your Student, Starlight Glimmer P.S. Trixie wants to be your student too. P.S.S. Or Celestia's, she doesn't mind being equal with Twilight. Speaking of Twilight, she told me to sign myself as 'Your Faithful Student' every time I send you a letter. No idea why. Okay, so I was at the school's faculty lot when Snips and Snails started drinking beer there and your counterpart came out but they ran away to avoid getting caught. She had a good sense of smell where she was able to make out the smell of beer in the air. She brought everyone in that she noticed were in the faculty lot and tried getting us to tell her who did it. Applejack and I wanted to tell her the truth but Rarity told us not to as she didn't want us to be dragged into Snips and Snails' situation. But being honest will quicken things. Twilight even backed Rarity up with some 'scientifical points'. You know how it goes. But eventually, Applejack and I told Vice Principal Luna the truth. I guess the lesson here is to always be honest? Yeah, no. Your Student, Sunset Shimmer Luna tore her gaze away from the journal and parchment and looked out the window where her sister was lowering the sun below the horizon which got her to realize it was her turn to bring up her night now, and so she did. She lightened up her horn and closed her eyes, concentrating. Slowly, the moon began to rise over the skyline, stars peeking through the dark sky. Chapter 3 Dear Applejack, I have noticed during my time as the Princess of Love that you have a strong bond with a certain white mare; the bickering is all you need in a relationship! So as the Princess of Love, I will be pointing you with tips and helping you to ask out the pony you're in love with. You might not have known, but it is clear to me and everyone else around the two of you that the both of you have something you didn't expect to have with each other. (Also, Princess Luna might have peeked into your dreams about Rarity and told her sister and me... it's just too cute!) This will be so exciting for me as I've waited for this day to come and ever since you started hanging out with her a lot recently, I decided to take this as an opportunity so let's begin. Step One: If you're not confident to tell her about your feelings and even ask her out, then telling her over a letter would be much more suitable and comfortable so it provides the other some time to take in. Love letters or poems are always a perfect way to tell them. However, I wouldn't advise doing it anonymously as it will just keep them guessing. Step Two: While it's best to keep it short and direct, I feel if you're writing a poem or a letter then you should be descriptive about your feelings. Write within the flow, your heart. Step Three: When you meet them in pony, don't be all meek and act confident. Wear a non-wrinkled tuxedo as you're a stereotypical tomboy and you're both girls so one of them has to bring in the charms. We all know Rarity; optimistic and sure of oneself, the definition of sophistication. Treat her like a lady, not a damsel-in-distress. I know it can be nerve-wracking to tell your best friend about your romantic feelings because of all tons of scenarios like what if she breaks your heart and rejects you, or what if someone else has a crush on her and it'll be a love triangle and she'll pick him. I don't think she'll pick Spike. Don't worry. As we've seen over the years, she keeps using him to do her work and makes him jealous by nearing herself with other guys. He's a young baby dragon. I still remember when I used to foalsit him and Twilight that he had a 'crush' on me. That was cute. Step Four: Not thinking you're good enough for her? Literally, all the guys she fancies are not fit for her. Not into girls? There could be hope that she could be bisexual. ...And that's it, I suppose. I know you'll do great! Good luck, Cadence Dear Rarity, R - Realisations have struck me, looking back, I can tell we're meant to be A - Absolutely gorgeous you are, the guys sure don't deserve ya R - Reckon I'll treat ya better if you just give me a chance I - Immaculate as you are, let our arguments slide behind us T - Talented tactful tailor, if we argue, we'll always find a way to keep loving each other Y - You, yes, you, are the one and only Rarity Yours Truly, Applejack When Applejack put the letter down, she hastily bit onto her hooves nervously before getting out an envelope from a drawer and sliding the letter inside. Soon, she put it in her saddlebags and placed them on her back, ready to get herself to the post office. Knocks occurred at Rarity's door which alerted her away from her work. She was offered an envelope which she brought it in with her magic and started opening it. She started reading through it, her eyes sparkling in awe and admiration along the way. Putting it atop a coffee table, she trotted over to her desk to get out a piece of paper and quill and came back to the coffee table where she started writing her thoughts down. Dear Applejack, I just received your letter and might I say it was a thoughtful little read that had inspired and adored me. It was very brave of you actually. What do you say about a date at the spa? We can go weekly and name them 'spa dates'. Your Love, Rarity When Rarity signed off her name, she dropped the pencil down and levitated over a couch for her to faint on as she started wiggling her legs and giggling un-ladylike. Author's Note You know you can comment ideas on what the next chapter should be about, right? Chapter 5 My Dear Fluttershy, Again, I had a lovely time at our weekly Tuesday tea party and social get-together. The next time you come over to my dimension I'll make sure to whip the best batch of apple fritters again you asked me to that could rival Applejack's products. Your Friendly Neighbourhood, Discord At Fluttershy's cottage, she lowered the letter down and smiled dreamily as she pinned it on her board on the wall filled with other letters sent by her best friend. Angel hopped over towards her and snatched the newest letter so he could read it himself. When he lowered it down, a devious grin formed on his face, and smirked at his owner, his paws rubbing together in absolute mischievous delight that could rival Discord's. ''So you like him now, huh?'' Angel squeaked in his way of speaking. ''Oh, Angel.'' Fluttershy sighed as she lay on her couch, her belly facing upwards. ''I think I have for a while now. But I don't know how anyone would take it that I fell in love with the Lord of Chaos that took over Equestria several times.'' Angel rolled his eyes. ''I thought you didn't care what other ponies thought.'' ''I don't, but...'' Fluttershy tried to say, but all she could do was sigh. ''I don't know, Angel. I really don't know.'' ''Then maybe you should tell him,'' he told her. ''Discord probably might not understand love but I can tell he speaks very fond of you. You can even ask Cadence — I heard she was the one that brought Rarijack together.'' Fluttershy hummed and thought about it for a moment. ''You know what? Maybe I should.'' She fluttered over to a nearby table in the corner where a paper and pencil were laid out. She picked up the pencil with her wing and started writing a letter to the Princess of Love. Dear Princess Cadence, I'm sorry to interrupt — I know you are probably really busy with whatever you need to do, but I feel this is a big emergency for me. A love emergency. She turned to Angel, who peeked over to see what she was writing down. ...I think I'm in love with Discord, but I don't know how to tell him or anyone in fact. What if they make fun of us? I see the way ponies and creatures still treat him as if he's still a monster. But to me, he's a big softie. I hope you find time to reply. Twilight's Friend, Fluttershy Meanwhile, back at the Crystal Empire, the Princess of Love was sitting on her throne with guards posted on each side of the big double doors. An exhaustive sigh escaped from her lips as if tired of her royal life. Why doesn't her Aunt give her anything to do, and instead give her sister-in-law? While she's proud of how Twilight declined the offer of taking Equestria to rule, she couldn't help but feel jealous of her. Everyone depends on her, and not the Princess of Love herself. That was until she received a letter just about now. In front of her, a pony came up to her with an envelope and Princess Cadence took it with her magic to take the letter out of its envelope and read through its contents. When she read through it, a sense of feeling that she really was useful filled her heart. But another sense of feeling of 'it's finally time' excited her. And so, she levitated over a quill and paper into view so she could begin writing down her reply. Dear Fluttershy, I'm so glad you asked! You may not know this but I've waited for this for so long. I'm speaking of this with utmost certainty that Discord, in fact, would like you back. Seeing how fond he speaks of you. He's always there to save you from danger and would always try his best just to hear one of your gracious laughs. I have, in fact, helped many ponies and creatures with their love lives, for example, your friends Applejack and Rarity. But I don't think the advice I've given Applejack would be similar to the advice I would give you. So let's get started. You shouldn't be worrying about what ponies or creatures would think about you or the love of your life. If you really love that pony or creature, then you wouldn't be embarrassed or ashamed. I'm surprised how Rarity wasn't with Applejack considering how she is. From our time we knew Discord, we can tell that he has come a long way despite his constant mistakes. And that's all because of you, Fluttershy — he would never think of ever hurting or losing you even when he has betrayed. I can just tell by the look in his eyes; the hurt and regret. He cares for you dearly and no one else. Despite your gentle nature, I would recommend for you make the first move. How about when the next time you have a tea party you can tell him how much he means to you and slowly tell him of your feelings growing into something more. I highly doubt Discord would make the first move due to his playfulness and which is why I'm asking you. Be confident, that's my advice to you. If it works out, please be free to write back or visit me in pony. Your Friend, Cadence Cadence lifted up her quill away from the end of the letter and brought a smile to her lips. When she was about to send it to her sister-in-law so it would be an easier way to send it to her friend, another letter magically came into view. Raising an eyebrow, she levitated it and started reading through it, the smile on her face becoming broader. ''Well, well, well.'' Cadence grinned. ''One on one.'' The next Tuesday, Fluttershy landed in front of Discord's house in his dimension before knocking on the door. ''Who is it~'' Discord asked in a singsong voice, his head popping out of the window with a long blonde wig that could rival Reponyzel's. Fluttershy giggled. ''Hi, Discord. Mind if you open the door for me?'' ''Why of course, my dear!'' Discord said as he clicked his fingers and the door opened which allowed the yellow pegasus to enter in. Fluttershy glanced around to see the place looking the same; chaotically free. Objects were flying around and elsewhere and she sat down on a couch where Discord teleported next to her with a plate of apple fritters. ''Apple fritters as I promised!'' he said with a grin, placing it on the floating table in front of them. She gasped, feeling her heart jump. ''You remembered...'' ''Why of course I did,'' Discord said. ''You know how much you mean to me.'' Her eyes softened and looked at Discord in the eyes. ''Discord...'' ''Yes...?'' he pushed on, leaning forward to see what she had to say. ''I... never mind,'' she said afterward and leaned forward to grab an apple fritter for herself. She took a bite and chewed it, finding herself to enjoy it more than she enjoyed her friend Applejack's. And so, she ate the rest in one whole. Discord clutched his stomach as he burst into laughter. ''Hungry, are we now?'' Fluttershy swallowed and frowned as she looked at the plate and then at him having none. ''Oh, I'm sorry. They were just too good.'' ''It's perfectly all right, my dear!'' Discord said. ''Remember, I can just conjure up another!'' With a simple snap of his talons, another batch of apple fritters materialized on the plate. ''Oh,'' Fluttershy said as she blushed when she forgot his special powers. For the next hour, they had been sharing what had happened and even cracked some jokes. Fluttershy took this as an opportunity to move closer to him so that their skin was touching, and the warmth from his body was radiating to hers. ''Oh.'' She laughed further. ''Discord, have I ever told you how funny you are?'' ''About a million times, yes, because that is the truth.'' Discord grinned with pride, absentmindedly twirling his fingers around in Fluttershy's mane but she didn't say anything as she didn't want him to stop. She sighed and buried her face inside his fur, not noticing Discord's surprised reaction. ''Discord...'' she said quietly, looking up. However, Discord didn't look at her back and instead continued looking forward and stopped twirling his fingers in her mane. ''Yes?'' he asked. ''Um, you know you're my best friend, right?'' she started. Discord froze for a while before replying: ''Why of course I do.'' Fluttershy noticed the change of voice and stance. ''Well, I don't want to be.'' And then did he freeze. ''What?!'' he shouted, sharply looking her way. ''What do you mean you don't want to be? You found another best friend, haven't you? Or somepony told you to stop being friends with me. Isn't that right?'' There was no response and he was starting to feel worried. ''Say something, Fluttershy!'' That's when Fluttershy exploded. ''No, Discord! I don't want to be your best friend because... because I want us to be something more!'' There was silence between the two and Discord immediately regretted what he had just said, but overall, his hands fell to his sides and his mouth closed back down. ''You what?'' he finally asked quietly. Fluttershy sighed and closed her eyes, readying herself to see his reaction when she nodded. ''But Fluttershy...'' he tried to say. ''You can't...'' ''Why can't I?'' she snapped as well as her eyes. ''I've waited long enough, Discord! I can't take it, my heart... I love you, Discord. I always have.'' Discord's eyes melted but he stood up and looked down at her. ''You can't! What would ponies think of us? Of you?! Don't you care, Fluttershy? Don't you care about your pride?'' ''What pride?'' she asked. Discord didn't want to do this but she left him no choice. ''You can't be with me! There are plenty of ponies who will treat you well and not betray you as I did! What's so good that you see in me?!'' And then did Fluttershy stand up, eye to eye with him. ''I don't care! The reason I love you is the same reason why you're my best friend! You're sweet, caring, and gentle... You always make up for your mistakes and makeup to me. That's the kind of stallion I've always wanted. So what if there are other stallions interested in me? I pick you and I will always pick you!'' When she finished, Discord was left speechless on his behalf. His heart was beating faster than ever. ''I'm no stallion,'' was all he could say. ''You are to me, though,'' Fluttershy whispered, smiling. She went ahead and wrapped her forehooves around him. Discord sighed and went along with it. He brought her up to meet her gaze. ''Are you sure you want this?'' he asked her gently. ''I don't know if I'm exactly good at this; I've never done it before.'' ''Neither have I,'' Fluttershy said, nuzzling against him. ''It's just like friendship. We'll get through times together.'' Discord examined her face to see no sense of trickery with her but then again he should know her by now that her feelings are always sincere. Fluttershy looked at his arms as they were bringing over to her face, Discord's lips a mere inches away from hers, and so she decided to connect them as Cadence's request. A variety of fluttering emotions filled both of them as they lengthened their kiss. It worked out beautifully. Dear Cadence, Mission complete. Thank you so much! Your Friend, Fluttershy Dear Cady, WOOHOO! IT WORKED! LET'S GO, BABY! The Lord of Chaos Standing on her balcony, Cadence smiled and breathed in the fresh night air that things were going as swift as she wanted them to be. She went inside so she could doze off for her Aunt's night, a part of her longing to see her beautiful night sky. But when she noticed her husband standing by the door, he came onto the balcony with her and watched the stars twinkle as he leaned against the rail. Instead of doing the same, Cadence watched her husband and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek which alerted him. ''I love you,'' she told him. ''Did you put Flurry to bed?'' Shining smiled. ''I have and I love you too.'' He brought her forward so she could nuzzle affectionately into his neck, Cadence slowly closing her eyes. Chapter 6 Dear Princess Celestia, The study of psychology shows that personal matters, feelings, or even gestures are a sign of platonic or romantic love. If the mood is sultry and involves some degree of intimacy this should be qualified as romantic pleasure; when the matter of the heart practically thumps and screams. However, it will be considered platonic love if the relationship is conversational and gregarious. Having conversations should always be key to your friend, family, or partner as it can help them know what you're thinking and prevent them from longing to guess. Study shows that introverts are much better off with extroverts as it can balance the relationship. However, if you are both introverts then there would be a lack of communication or a lack of start to a conversation. And if you are both extroverts then it could lead to one of you talking over the other and this could overlap things. So in conclusion, healthy relationships whether it's platonic or romantic should be able to conduct a sense of companionship with six ingredients: trust, devotion, patience, affection, sympathy, and kindness. Your Faithful Student, Twilight Sparkle Twilight bit her lip, thinking that this should be enough — it has been a long time since she's been a friendship student to the oldest Princess of Equestria. She was supposed to whip up an introduction on what she already knew about friendship already as she rejoined to be Celestia's student again. And so, she rolled the parchment up into a tube and passed it onto Spike for him to send it out the window in green flames. She watched it evaporate into thin air outside and looked down to see a variety of everyday ponies and creatures passing by. ''Hey Twilight,'' came Starlight's voice as she entered the library. ''Sorry to interrupt but Trixie here really wanted to talk with you.'' Twilight considered this to be a surprise. ''Oh?'' An azure-colored unicorn was standing in the doorway, then made her way over next to Starlight. ''Yeah,'' she said sheepishly, getting ready to leave. ''So I'll just leave you two to talk.'' And now it was just Twilight and Trixie awkwardly looking at each other, the former was about to speak up but Trixie already beat her to it (for once). ''Let Trixie speak!'' she said, and so she began: ''Trixie figured she hasn't even tried to get along with you and that's why you probably think she is irritating.'' Twilight opened her mouth. ''Trixie, I...'' ''Trixie thought that it was her fault,'' Trixie said with a frown. ''It was, but you can't decline the fact it isn't yours either. You humiliated Trixie not once but twice! Yes, I was a show boaster but I only wanted to let people know that I was finally good at something. But then when Starlight brought me to come and see you the third time, you instantly tried everything you could to separate us.'' Twilight hung her head. ''I know and I'm sorry, Trixie. That was incredibly wrong of me. Some Princess of Friendship I tend to be and which is why I stepped down and became Celestia's student again.'' ''Trixie so greatly accepts your apology,'' Trixie said with a smile. ''But speaking of being Princess Celestia's student, Trixie also wants to ask you if she can be as well like how Starlight and Sunset are working together under Princess Luna.'' Twilight's eye twitched. ''You... you want to be...?'' But then she remembered and she took in a deep breath. ''I think I can put in a word with Princess Celestia.'' Trixie smiled and tipped her hat to bow her way out of the library. ''Thank you for being so considerate, Princess Twilight. Trixie greatly appreciates it.'' And she left, leaving Twilight to be concerned. ''Oh, dear.'' She whipped up another parchment and quill. Dear Princess Celestia, Okay, so I don't know if I should be excited or concerned because Trixie just asked me to ask you if she could be your student and work with me much like how Starlight and Sunset are working together under your sister. I hope you say no. Your Faithful Student, Twilight Sparkle Twilight sent the letter out the window using Spike's fire breath and looked outside with concern written all over her face, Spike placed a claw on her shoulder. My Faithful Student, That would be a marvelous idea! I've always wanted to have another student that's not just you like my sister, so I'll so happily take this Trixie under my wing. Yours, Princess Celestia When Twilight read the letter, she immediately put it down and took on a worried gaze then she turned to Spike laughing on the floor with a serious expression. ''She really is a troll, isn't she?'' he asked, taking breaths in between. Something lit up his face which caused him to stop laughing as Twilight literally burst into flames out of rage, sending the whole castle flinging into the air and then coming back down with a massive thump. Starlight ran to her aid. ''Twilight? Is everything okay?'' She gasped as she spotted Twilight lying on the floor, smoke surrounding her. ''Oh no, Twilight!'' She turned to Spike. ''Spike, what happened?'' ''She, uh, did it again,'' Spike explained hesitantly. ''Oh no. This is bad!'' Starlight exclaimed frantically. ''We don't want another one of those, do we now, Spike?'' Spike quickly shook his head. ''Quick! Call Trixie!'' she asked him hurriedly. ''What? But Trixie's the reason why—'' he was cut off when Starlight yelled at him and he quickly took off to fetch the show mare, then came back with her. ''Erm, Twilight?'' Trixie called out to the unmoving alicorn who then got onto all fours, facing her with an eye twitching creepily. ''Here.'' Spike gave her a scroll. ''You should read this.'' When Trixie read through it, she immediately jumped. ''Oh em gee. BEST PRINCESS EVER!'' She ran to Twilight to shake her hoof. ''Thank you so much, princess. Trixie will promise you that she will work as hard as you and learn the magic of friendship!'' ''Greaaat...'' Twilight muttered with no emotion as Trixie continued shaking onto her hoof. Chapter 1The sounds of a quill scratching against paper were heard, Celestia eyeing the piece of parchment in front of her trying to come up with ways how to start a letter with someone after so long of being distant over paper.
