‘Hmph.’
Ember observed herself in a rather long, floor reaching mirror. It was early and the Princess had just rolled out of bed (not literally of course) before she started her day. Apart from her bra and underwear, there was nothing else covering her body. The dragon Princess always got a terrible night’s sleep, having to lay on her back which was for her not a very comfortable position. The thing was she didn’t have much choice due to well… The two rather large melons she was observing in the mirror, only just about being contained by her bra. This was another extra large sized one too, she could already feel the straps were starting to chafe her shoulders despite only being a few days old. The weight of her boobs tended to do that. A bra would maybe last a couple of weeks before it gave out as the material was just not up to keeping the weight aloft for very long. She wondered why she hadn’t actually put in a commission for some sort of custom bra that would last. Being royalty however meant she was busy, it was a bit low on her list of things to do.
The thing was too, she was somewhat envied for what she had. When she sat on her throne in her royal regalia, all the male dragons came to her with requests or to speak to her about some matter of great importance she’d often find that she could simply make issues go away by giving her body a bit of a jiggle and wobble and they’d be rather swiftly distracted. This was followed by a ‘Now what was the problem again?’ and their eyes would slowly drift upwards towards her face, seeing her scowling at them. In shame, they’d either sputter that there was no problem and quickly leave or make up some excuse, then quickly leave. Didn’t work with the females of course. They’d often just ignore it or if they were older, say it was obscene. They were jealous, Ember had no doubt.
Recently however she had been joined by Smolder as a court aid, now well into her adult years the orange dragon had travelled home to serve by her side bringing her tutoring about friendship with her. Ember was no stranger to this of course, but it was good to have someone so close who knew about it in much more detail than she did. Often, Ember found where her mammoth melons weren’t able to diffuse a situation (as well as her own impressive diplomatic skills) then Smolder would often step in and be able to at the last moment salvage the situation. At least before the room devolved into a hot mess of fireballs being spit everywhere and angry yelling.
In any case, Smolder had filled out nicely too. Her body was almost regal in a sense. She had a somewhat pudgy middle that then spread out into rather large supportive hips below. Above that, her bust was rather impressive too. It was nowhere near the size of Ember’s of course, but it was still quite the pair. Overall her form was much attractive to those who liked something to grab onto. She had come home and was already wooing a few of the males who had made a move on her, but so far she hadn’t quite gotten to any of them. Her work kept her busy and she seemed more interested in something else.
Whenever they had a quiet moment alone, whether that be in the throne room or elsewhere, Smolder would incessantly start asking questions about Ember's body. She was absolutely fascinated by her size. As Ember got dressed to start another day, she was sure that as soon as they had a moment alone that Smolder would ask her again, as if she was going to be able to get anything new out of her. Quite frankly, it was getting a little bit tedious. It was something that Ember had been pondering late last night and wondered if she could perhaps tell Smolder something simply to get her off her back for a little bit. Perhaps something harmless? A thought had come to mind… perhaps she would be able to put it to test today when the inevitable conversation came up.
She got dressed, her body felt so tight in her royal garments. Thankfully the important parts could breathe, it did push her breasts up slightly into her vision however. As the day wore on, filled with the usual complaints from her subjects, Ember and Smolder finally found themselves alone towards the latter part of the afternoon. The Guard’s that kept order in the room had gone on a break, it was just the two of them as Ember decided that it was best to keep presence in case something urgent arose.
‘So…’ Smolder started to say.
‘Are you going to ask again? Look Smolder, I don’t really have any new in…’ Ember paused, actually she did. ‘What I uh, mean to say is. I have something you can try, maybe. It might work.’
Suddenly the younger dragon was all ears. ‘Really!? But you haven’t told me anything for weeks! I thought I was being a pest.’
‘Well you were kind of, but I figured I may as well at least let you give this a go seeing as you’re clearly so persistent.’ Ember replied. ‘You ever figure eating might help?’
Smolder looked extremely puzzled. ‘Eating?’ she simply asked. The connection wasn’t really forming.
‘Yeah, I mean have you ever looked at, you know, bigger girls?’ Ember asked honestly. She saw Smolder blush somewhat.
‘Uh, not really if I am honest. It’s not my sort of thing.’ she replied, somewhat awkwardly, it made Ember laugh.
‘Oh no haha, not like that. I mean just like observe their physique. Do you ever notice their busts are bigger too generally?’ Ember asked her.
‘I…now you mention it.’ Smolder went quiet for a moment. Ember could hear the gears in her head turning nearly. Then she smiled, there was a realization there. It had clicked at last. ‘I can try that!’ Smolder said with a big smile. Ember was sort of pleased, it had worked. She just wondered what sort of path Smolder was now going to go down. In a way, she could hardly wait and see.

That evening after work, Smolder had some time to herself. She had been pondering on Ember’s words all day, as if the Princess had passed on to her some magic secret that only a dragon of authority would know. The idea at least had clicked and she had been somewhat preoccupied with nothing else all day whirling around in her brain.
Smolder was not dissatisfied with her appearance, that was far from the truth. She enjoyed her body and the young dragon got quite a bit of attention from it. Already since being home she had gotten quite a few comments from the hot headed guys. Plenty of ‘You’ve filled out nicely.’ and such things.
The truth was, she was just a little bit envious of Ember who had an almost perfect hourglass figure compared to her somewhat bigger middle. Her brain of course told her that eating a ton of food as she was about to wouldn’t achieve her an hourglass figure in any way, shape or form but perhaps if she ate enough her breasts would swell to be far more impressive than her mentors. There was a knock on her chamber doors, Smolder currently was staying close by to Ember so she could be on call if needed and as such had full use of the chefs who supplied Ember with her meals as well as any guests who might be visiting the dragon lands. To that end, she had told the chefs that tonight and every night this week she would be holding a small banquet for guests on behalf of Ember and therefore needed a banquet's worth of meals delivered to her place.
‘Good evening Smolder.’ she was greeted by the head chef. Dragons were generally less formal than ponies so even getting a good evening was somewhat of a rarity.
‘Evening, you can bring in the food and leave it. Come back to collect it in a few hours.’ Smolder instructed.
‘Very well.’ came the curt reply. Several large, practically overflowing trays of food (mixed in with gems of course) were wheeled in on large metal trolleys by several staff who marched in and then marched out the room. The door shut with a click. Smolder wondered if they might have questions why none of the guests were there, but it was not their place to question and she would have made up a reason in any case.
Smolder was not exactly adverse to eating, that chubby middle was there for a reason. She had back at school developed a liking for the sweet treats that ponies ate, whilst gems were a dragons staple food there was something about a pastry covered in frosting that really made her tongue wet in anticipation. She had requested the chefs make some for her.
This would be the first of a number of nights of gorging and Smolder decided to get stuck in as best she could, opting for the tray of treats first. She knew as soon as the first pastry hit her lips that she’d want more…much more. It slipped down a treat and vanished with a satisfying ulp! as she grabbed for another, quickly devouring that one too. Smolder had a way of eating that others had described as like machinery ramping up then working at full speed once it got going. The more she ate the quicker she could eat it until eventually, all the food would be gone. As something to do she actually timed it. Her first dessert took her a minute to chew on and eat, then her second around fifty seconds. Her third down into the forties and so on. Now she was grabbing something with both hands, greedily stuffing her face as she belched in between bites.
‘Uurrrpppp!’
She could feel it though, that feeling you got when you knew you were overstuffing yourself. An expanding middle that screamed stop! but her brain told her no more! as she took entire fistfuls of food to eat. She was fixated on the idea of increasing her size, no matter the cost to her body overall. She felt her hips press into the side of the chair she was sitting on, but her stomach pressed outwards and pushed her breasts up as it searched for room to expand in.
She watched as a miss-chew made a rather large portion of an éclair fall from her mouth which nestled itself between her bosoms. Pausing for a moment to fish it out the dragon for the first time felt that actually, her gluttonous eating had in fact had the outcome she had desired. Okay, the rest of her was getting much bigger, but the two orbs that were in her lower vision were definitely expanding too. Perhaps it was a side effect of her whole body just getting bigger? Smolder didn’t really question it for very long, instead opting to try to finish the meal that was in front of her rather than wasting time. The chefs would return to take it away and she had to make it look as if she had hosted a banquet for an entire room full of people.
She was hardly halfway through, but Smolder felt so full. Her stomach churned, glorps and gurgles emanate from it. The thing was, Smolder was enjoying it. She loved the feeling of being so satisfied and stuffed from all the food. It was almost like a test, just as she thought she couldn’t possibly eat another bite she forced a little bit more food in and with a light bloop! her stomach pushed and packed in another treat. She was starting to feel like she would hardly be able to move if she ate much more, her growing belly greedily seeming to want more as she stuffed it full of calorie rich cakes and other delights.
She decided next she would move onto the gems, a favourite of every dragon and rather fattening too if you ate a huge portion of them in one sitting which Smolder was. Every chomp and chew she felt her body getting bigger and bigger. The clothing she was wearing was getting rather tight and everything expanded. She elected to remove her pants and top, moving herself to a more comfortable spot on a larger couch which her two orb-like ass cheeks quickly occupied and made an impression on as soon as she sat down. Her body sank into the seat, Smolder still working her way through the immense trays of food which were in turn making her immense. She had no idea how she was going to fit into her clothing for tomorrow when she saw Ember, she’d worry about that in the morning.
Finally after her marathon session, with the trays empty and the chefs about to return she leaned back, almost somewhat proud in a sense of what she had accomplished. An even greedier, bigger belch erupted from her lips, spraying tiny bits of food flotsam upwards as she let loose.
‘BWWWAAAAAARRRRRPPPPPPP!’
A satisfied Smolder flopped backwards, already thinking about what she would order for tomorrow’s eating session.

The next day an equally large portion of food arrived for her.
And the next.
And the next.
It was getting towards the end of the week and on every occasion Smolder had turned up to do her job, bigger every day, Ember had kept her mouth shut. She could tell actually somewhat the young dragon was enjoying the gluttony, she knew Smolder had a small affinity for food due to her size anyway. She was way past that now. Past it by such a far point that by week's end, it was clear due to her massive size Smolder was actually having trouble moving around and completing her duties as she was meant to. Lazily she had spent her time sitting by the throne, usually she stood but it had now reached the point where even five minutes on her claws meant effort. Ember could tell right now as she looked over at her she was daydreaming.
Smolder was thinking back to last night, it had been a very rewarding and wonderful experience. Her body had somewhat got used to the amount of food that she was greedily eating every day and yesterday had been a bit of a milestone, in that after the huge feast she had actually summoned the energy to go and weigh herself. The scales had simply read ‘ERROR’ in response. In particular last night's banquet had been the final sort of ‘push’ to get her to a desired size. She was sure her rather impressive body now surpassed Ember’s own and wanted to see if it did. Not forgetting herself, she waited for a quiet moment and took the opportunity as soon as she had the chance.
‘Let’s compare.’ Smolder simply said. Ember played dumb.
‘Compare what?’ Ember replied.
‘You know what. I’m the size of a house and this was all after following your advice.’ Smolder huffed. ‘I want to see if it was worth it.’
‘Fine, but if we’re interrupted you’re the one going to have to come up with a plausible excuse as to what we’re doing.’ Ember responded, standing up from her throne. This raised a question she posed to Smolder. ‘You can still get up right.’
‘Of course…huff…’ Smolder responded, using the throne itself as leverage to haul herself upwards so she was now upright and opposite Ember. She saw Ember smirk. ‘Okay, it takes a bit of effort but I can get there.’ Smolder replied.
Now standing up properly Ember was able to observe the full extent of Smolder's efforts to increase her bust. It had increased everything else too.
She was gigantic…and wobbly. Her whole body quivered as she moved. The remains of the gear she had tried to put on was actually somewhat laughable, her body had utterly ruined it. Around her middle was the tattered remains of her top and her pants were barely even visible as little more than thin straps of material cutting into her blubbery legs. Everything bulged. Fat folds sat on top of other fat folds, the more buried ones glistening slightly as sweat escaped from within where the warmth meant Smolder was perspiring a little. Ember swore as Smolder shuffled herself forward to square up to her, the ground moved a little bit under her immense weight.
‘So this is how we’re doing this huh?’ Ember said nonchalantly as she felt the front of Smolder press up against her. It was a simple way to see, Smolder pressed herself closer and Ember winced a little, trying not to blush as two monster pairs of melons came together as squished close. She felt the warmth of Smolder’s press against hers. They were rather impressive. It seemed the eating tactic had worked at least somewhat. Even at a glance they looked just as big as hers. She watched as Smolder boldly put a claw forward and sort of ‘measured’ the space around hers and Embers in an effort to make some sort of comparison between them, then she grinned at Ember.
‘You know I figured you were joking when you suggested this but I didn’t want to let on.’ Smolder said with a smile. ‘It seems to have backfired though. By a claws nail, I’m bigger than you now.’ the younger dragon said triumphantly, taking a step back. Their jiggling breasts parted and Ember frowned.
‘Oh really? You know this is all natural, yes? I only need to do what you’ve done and I’ll quickly overtake you.’ Ember teased.
‘Hah, and I’d just keep eating.’ Smolder scoffed.
‘You’re pretty close to not being able to move under your own power.’ Ember observed. ‘How are you going to keep eating when you can’t even get here to order the food in for your banquets.’ Ember said with a small laugh. She saw Smolder blush.
‘Uh…’ Smolder started to say, but Ember cut her off.
‘Relax, I had to authorise all that food. If I didn’t want you to do it I simply would have told the chefs not to deliver the food to you.’ Ember replied. ‘I kind of wanted to see the results.’
‘Well, the side effects are rather nice…’ Smolder conceded. She had succeeded after all, it was only a claws nail but she had beaten Ember. It felt satisfying. The thing was, she definitely wanted more. The small amount she had won by wasn’t quite enough, it had to be a proper victory for sure. She had a small break, but next week, she’d make sure even more food was on order.
