Chapter 1

"Oh, my glitter," Sunny Starscout said.

She had not expected any of the things that had happened to her and her friends to happened to them today.

She and her friends were in a strange new world and currently surround by giant robots.

A few hours earlier, Equestria.

"Are you sure you know where we're going, Sunny?" asked Hitch Trailblazer as he walked over the rocky terrain.

"Of, course, she does," Izzy Moonbow replied, as she skipped along with her friends, "I don't see any reason to doubt it."

"And if worst comes to worst," Zipp Storm said, "we can just wing it."

"That doesn't sound a plan, Zipp," Pipp Petals commented, "I wouldn't even say that is a plan at all."

The group all laughed and continued on their way.

"But to answer your question, Hitch," Sunny Starscout replied, "I thought we could explore some of the unmapped area of Equestria and maybe discover something from the old days."

After a hours of walking, a strange structure came into view, it looked like nothing Sunny or her friends had seen before.

It was a giant metal ring, huge in size and circular in shape.

"Whoa," Zipp exclaimed, gazing at the massive structure before her and the others.

"What is this thing?" Hitch asked, as he, Sunny and the others continued their approach toward the structure.

"I have absolutely no idea," Pipp replied, "but this is definitely going make great content."

She wiped out her phone, turning on the camera, and pointing it at herself and speaking in an announcer tone of voice.

"What is up, Pipp-Squeaks," she declared, "we have discovered a strange and mysterious thing in the middle of nowhere, what could this structure be and who or what made it? That's what me and my friends are here to find out, I'll keep you updated, pipp, pipp and away everypony."

With that, Pipp turned her phone off and join the others as they began looking around the strange structure.

As the ponies investigated the structure, a small pair of eyes watched them as ventured inside the ring of the structure.

The eyes belonged to Kremzeek, a little imp creature made of electricity who also like to cause mischief, particularly with machinery and electrical devices.

As Sunny and her friends continued their investigation of the strange structure, which was actually one half of a device called a Space Bridge.

"I wonder who would built this?" Hitch murmured.

Sunny opened her mouth to answer, but was interrupted by a shriek as Kremzeek appeared.

"What is that thing?!" Zipp cried.

"I've got no idea," Izzy said, "but it looks kinda cute."

"Kremzeek!" the creature shrieked, quickly running around the structure and phasing in and out of it.

The structure whirred and slowly began to sound like it was turning on and a portal started to form above the five ponies.

"Sunny," Hitch said, "what's happening?!"

Before Sunny could answer, the portal above started sucking everything into it, including Sunny and her friends.

Zipp and Pipp tried to fly out of the vortex, but they eventually got exhausted and succumb to vortex's pull.

The last thing Sunny saw before she and the others were consumed by the vortex was the ring structure on the ground below them.

The next few minutes were filled with flashing colours and blurry surroundings

"Ooo," Izzy said, "pretty."

And then, just like that, it all over.

Sunny and her Friends found themselves standing in a giant rust covered cylinder shaped building with an equally rusted door, that creaked opened soon after they arrived, wherever they were now.

"Arrr," Sunny groaned, "my head."

"What happened?" Hitch blubbed, as he and others slowly got to their hooves.

Sunny and her friends noticed that they weren't in the same place, they had been in before.

"Where are we?" Zipp exclaimed.

"I don't know," Sunny replied, taking a look around at their new surroundings, "but we won't get anywhere by sitting here."

"Wherever we are," Pipp said, "hopefully, we can get back home, mum is going to be worried sick.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Hitch asked, "we don't know whats out there."

"Oh, come on," Izzy smiled, "I've got to think positive and look on the bright side."

"Right," Sunny nodded, "let's go everypony."

With that, the five ponies exited the cylinder and into a totally different sight before them.

An entire city, giant in size and metal grey coloured buildings as far as the eye could see.

"Wow," Pipp said, gazing around and taking in the sight before her.

"We are defiantly not in Equestria, anymore," Zipp murmured.

"This is amazing," Sunny stated, "that giant ring must have been some kind of transporter or teleporter and now we're on an entirely different world."

"I hate to interrupt your little revelation, Sunny," Hitch said, "but I think we have company."

He pointed at some strange objects that were approaching them.

"What are those things?" Pipp asked.

"I have no idea," Sunny replied.

As the objects grew closer, they suddenly began to change shape before the pony's eyes until they were towering over as giants which seemed to be made of metal.

"Oh, my glitter," Sunny said, as the metal giants looked down at them.

A few minutes earlier, Cybertron, Metroplex City, Autobot HQ

"This is strange," Preceptor, the Autobot's scientist, said, gazing at a monitor in confusion.

"Decepticons energy reading?" asked Wheeljack, the Autobot's mechanical engineer and mad scientist.

"No an organic energy reading," Preceptor replied, "five organic energy signatures just appeared near a decommissioned Space Bridge."

"That is strange," Wheeljack said, "send a team to investigate, I'll inform Optimus in the meantime."

"Roger that," Preceptor nodded, he typed a few keys on the keyboard and some pictures of Autobots appeared on the screen.

While Preceptor was gathering a team, Wheeljack proceeded to the main control centre of the base where the leader of the Autobots, Optimus Prime, was overseeing the operations of all members of their team.

"What is it, Wheeljack?" Optimus asked, as his comrade entered the control room.

Wheeljack explain about what Preceptor had discovered and that they were assembling a team to investigate.

"Interesting," Optimus said, once Wheeljack was done explaining, "once your team has found the source of the organic reading, inform me immediately of their findings."

"Right away, Prime," Wheeljack nodded, as he started leaving the room.

Meanwhile, Preceptor had assembled a small team to investigate the location where the organic energy reading had been detected.

The members of the investigation team were: Pipes, Brawn, Smokescreen, Hound and Skids.

Since Optimus Prime couldn't accompany the investigation team, he had instructed one of his closest allies, Windblade, to shadow and oversee the investigation and report back to Wheeljack with what they discovered.

"Alright," Preceptor said, once the team had been assembled and everything had been explained to them, "once you have found the source of the organic energy reading, report back to Wheeljack who will inform Optimus Prime of your findings."

"Acknowledged," Windblade replied, the other members nodding showing they also understood.

"Alright, everyone," she continued, "transform and roll out."

The Autobots complied, transforming to their alternate modes, that being various vehicles, apart from Windblade who's alt mode was a jet, after which the investigation team left the base.

Unbeknown to either the Autobots or the ponies, Galvatron, formally Megatron, the leader of the Decepticons, had also been alerted to the strange organic energy reading and had dispatched his own team to investigate.

This team consisted of: Cyclonus, Scourge, Blitzwing and Shadow Striker.

Galvatron had also instructed his second in command, Starscream to supervise the investigation. But, secretly, Galvatron had also instructed Shadow Striker to keep an eye on Starscream, as he was know to betray or backstab at the first opportunity.

"Now go, my Decepticons," Galvatron had said, "transform and rise up!"

His followers obeyed, transforming to the alternate modes, that being various types of aircraft, Cyclonus transformed into a spacecraft, Scourge into a smaller spacecraft, Starscream's alt mode being a jet fighter, Blitzwing transformed into one of his two alt modes a jet and his other mode a tank and Shadow Striker's alt mode was sports car.

Once they had transformed, the Decepticons left the base and headed in the direction of the location of the organic energy reading.

Back in the present.

"Hi, new friends," Izzy smiled.

"Arrr," Sunny said, as the Autobot looked down at her and friends, "hi, we come in peace."

"Sunny," Hitch hissed, "what are you doing?"

Sunny was about to replay, but a sudden loud noise cut her off as some more objects appeared and transformed into metal giants, these ones more menacing looking than the ones standing over Sunny and her friends.

Sunny noticed that the giants surrounding them had matching symbols on them and the giants that had just arrived had different symbols on them.

"Decepticons!" one of the giants, coloured blue and white, said,

"Back off, Autobots," one of the meaner looking giants, purple and black, snarled, "we'll be taking those organics now."

"Like heck you will," another giant, coloured orange and green, retorted, drawing some kind of weapon.

"Get the organics out of here," another giant, a female and coloured red and black ordered, brandishing a sword.

Another giant, this one coloured Blue and red, nodded transforming back into a strange object from before and opening one of its doors.

"Come with me, if you want to live," the giant's voice declared.

Sunny and her friends, seeing now other option, all piled into the object.

"Alright, everyone," another giant, this one coloured green, declared "let's go!"

The orange and green turned to another giant, this one coloured blue, white and red.

"Smokescreen, Windblade," he said, "give us some cover."

"Roger," the female giant called Windblade nodded, blasting the apposing team with hurricane force wind blasts from the wings on her back.

Next Smokescreen, transformed into his alt mode and releasing a cloud of thick smoke from his tailpipes.

After which, the other giants transformed back to alt modes and along with Sunny and friends beat a hasty retreat.

Leaving the Decepticons, blinded, confused and angry.

By the time, the smoke had cleared the Autobots were long gone.

"Idiots!" Starscream shouted, "you let those Autobots make fools of us and they got away with our prisoners!"

"Well, excuse me," Shadow Striker retorted, "you were the one who said that the enemy would give up due to our superior fire power!"

"Yeah," Scourge nodded, "if it's anyones to blame its you, Starscream."

"Silence!" Starscream demanded, "I am Galvatron's trusted second in command, I demand respect!"

"Whatever," Blitzwing said, breaking up the two before the argument could be allowed to continue, "let's just get back to Galvatron and give our report."

"He's not going to happy," Cyclonus smirked, "and as his trusted second in command I'm sure you can think of a good excuse, Starscream."

Starscream growled, he did not care to be mocked or talked down to by those he considered beneath him.

But for now, he pushed his anger aside and he prepared to face Galvatron and tell me that they had failed in their mission.

But Starscream weren't worried, because would use his deadliest weapon, his silver tongue, to worm his way back into Galvatrons good graces.
