Chapters Author's Note
This is my first chapter of a story I hope you all like it and Hopefully I can start on making other stories to make them more interesting.
The beginning
It was a normal day at CHS when a fiery hair bacon person was walking through the halls, until she reach her locker and unlock it while she was putting her books away for the weekend cause she was going to be hanging out with her friends at the mall to get a bite to eat and do other fun stuff as well.
After a while a purple hair teen was walking up to the bacon hair girl and said : Hello Sunset how are you doing darling.:
Sunset turned her head around and saw a smile on the purple hair teen and smile back and said “Hello Rarity I’m good thanks, how are you.”
Rarity said “ I’m doing well darling in fact I’ve got a few designs that are ready to be created and are you still looking forward for the weekend at the mall.”
Sunset said “Oh yea I am Rarity and if you ever need help let me know and I know how much that if twilight wanted to join us if she didn’t get to see the astrometry exhibit on the other side of town”.
Rarity sighted and thought of Twilight Sparkle or (sci twi) for short and wonder how is she doing cause it’s been like 4 months since the friendship games ended, and everyone has been doing everything they can to make her feel welcome and not feel alone at school, and now they hopefully to see her next week so they can get some new songs going and get a tour bus set and ready. Just now the bell ring for everyone to get there last class of the day, Sunset and Rarity got there stuff and went to class just before when Sunset got to class she saw Applejack and Applebloom sharing a laugh together and thinking of something to herself.
When the final bell ring everyone was walking out of school and a group of girls call themselves the Rainbooms were all discussing a time to meet tomorrow at the mall and with a time set they all went there separate ways while Sunset was walking she was thinking about what she thought earlier (Wish I wasn’t living alone anymore) just when she was half way to her apartment she heard some trash cans fell over and someone and so she turn around and saw a kid with black skin with a purple hair and her eyes were emerald they both look at each other for a while, then Sunset slow rises her left hand and held it out and said “Do you want some help” and then the little kid just got on her feet and just started running away.
Sunset has never seen a person or a kid run away from help and hopefully if she sees that kid again and hopefully can help her and nothing bad happens to her and so she starts walking again after like 15 minutes she was at her apartment door opens it up and looks around and sees nothing to say hi to or to chat with and so she walks in a gets a warm drink and thinks about what to have for dinner like a pizza or toast.
So after having a cheese and tomato pizza she went to her chair and was now flipping through the channels to see what is on the shows were showing were The Chase, Tipping point, Top Gear, and som old shows like Dads Army, Last of the Summer wine, and Ready to be Served and so after she turned her tell off and went to the bathroom to have a shower after a that she went to her bedroom and put on her pajamas and sit on her bed a again looks around she was alone in her apartment with no one and she asks herself ( Will I ever have something or someone with me so I’m not looking at an empty place).
Just when she was lost in thoughts her journal was glowing meaning that Princess Twilight Sparkle was trying to contact her so she can speak with her and wondering what she has been up-to and hopefully she can come and visit cause everybody likes to she her for what she has done for CHS, Stopping Sunset when she was a bully and becoming a Demon, Stopping the sirens and making sure everyone was alright after the game was over and now Sunset was now curious to what the princess wants to talk about so Sunset grabs her journal book opens it and sees what was written in.
In it it says “Hello Sunset Shimmer how are you doing in your life and I was wondering if one day that me and I’ve got somepony that is curious about the world that your living in and wants to learn about everything, and how are the others doing and my counter part.”
Sunset look over the message and thought to herself (Wonder who is this other pony is she talking about and she sounds like a young version of herself and hopefully I have enough food to feed them), and so she picks up a pen a writes down and says “Everyone is doing good I’m planning to meet them tomorrow at a mall so we can have fun buying cloths, some shoes, playing some games and grabbing something to eat, and twi is also good she is at a museum looking at astrometry exhibit and who is this pony your talking about that wants to see the world that I live in.”
The Princess reply “That’s good to hear and to answer your question about the pony is a little filly and she is living with me and when she hears something I’ve been telling her that the world your living in that it’s a whole new experience and I would like to show her at some point”.
Sunset reply’s “Sure I’ll see what day can be suitable for you coming and your guest coming and before we finish I saw a little girl who was scared when I offered her help”.
It was Saturday morning Sunset woke up yawning and got off the bed and made her way to the bathroom to get wash and change then she put on her half red and sunny cutie mark top, her blue jeans, her heel boots and her leather jacket and made her way to the kitchen to make herself some breakfast like a warm cup of tea and some toast while she was eating she open her phone to remember what time that she needs to at the mall to meet up with her friends, and it said 12 o’clock and it was only 9:30am so she was just thinking of whether walk to the mall or use her car that she got last year when she completed her driving test.
So she decided to walk to the mall cause it’s a lovely day and there’s not a cloud in the sky and the birds were chirping in a musical note at the park that was on her right side were there 2 benches in a circle area and in the centre was a fountain that a level that was pouring down cause the water was coming out from the top of it, the leaves in the trees were given a gentle breeze and it made a good music to listen to when you want to enjoy the scenery and it made Sunset smile cause she felt she made the right decision to walk to the mall cause if she didn’t she would of missed of seeing how amazing the places she would like to look at and so she starting to walk again then she looks at her phone to see what time it is and it is 10:50am, she had plenty of time cause mall is only like 45 minutes away from where is she now, she was coming up to sugarcube corner where herself and her friends hangout to have laughs, talk about making music together and family activities. So after having her moment looking through sugarcube corner window she continues her walk until she look down an alley that was across the road and saw cardboard leaning against a wall, she was curious about it cause she hasn’t seen any alleys like that she would be suspicious and go over there and see what up but her phone buzz.
She pulled out her phone and on the screen it said (Yo I’m on my way and I hope we are going to be awesome in the arcade area see ya there) knowing who sent that she smiled put her phone in her pocket and continue walking, after a while she has make it to the car park and saw Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Pinkie Pie at the entrance to the mall waiting for the others to arrive, just then Rainbow was just about to say hi to Sunset but then Pinkie some how was behind Sunset and yelled.
“HI SUNSET”
That was loud for everyone to give them frights, so after a few minutes of calming down Sunset walk up to the rest of her friends and said hi to them while they were waiting they all were chatting about which part to go to first like Rarity wanted to go to the fashion store to pick up some quality stuff for her next fashion display, Rainbow wanted to get some food in her belly cause she was starving, also cause she rush out of the house without proper breakfast and thinks that all you need is an energy bar to get ready for the day and Pinkie being Pinkie just wanted to have fun and give everyone her special cupcakes that she made today. So after waiting like 15 minutes the rest of the girls arrive Applejack got out of her truck and walk towards the girl and said (Howdy) in a country accent while tipping her Stetson hat and Fluttershy got out of her Fait 500 and walk to the girls and said (Hello girls hopefully I’m not too late), when she said that everyone looks at her and she whipped backwards and hiding behind her hair, then Rainbow went up to the side of her and throw her right arm over Fluttershy shoulders and said
“Nah your on time shy and are you ready to have fun”
Fluttershy smile and nodded and with everyone her together they made there way into the mall and the first thing they did was go clothes shopping which was Rarity idea cause she wants some new ideas for her new display and hopefully to get an opportunity to be in a fashion show in the big city, while everyone was just board or even impress of the way the style the clothes look and with that done they went to the food hall to get something to eat and sit down, Rainbow Dash went and got a ultimate burger cause not because she was hungry but she likes to show off at how awesome she is everyone just gently face palm them or just sigh at that while everyone was just getting regular foods and Sunset and Fluttershy just got salads cause the shy girl feels like if she eats meat she’ll think she was eating her animal friends and Sunset is the same cause where she’s from they always eat healthy oats which this world does half the time.
While they were eating the speakers that were put on a top corner of the mall was playing music until it was cut off by some news that was being broadcast ladies and gentlemen we had a little theft last night that took some leftovers bakery and a towel don’t know why but if you see this person call the police this person it’s a girl who has purple hair, black ship and has emerald eyes and with that the music continues to where it left off.
After hearing that all the girls were talking about that theft girl person and we’re thinking to keep an eye out in case they see her while Sunset was thinking if that was the girl she saw last night on her way home if so she has to find her and turn her life around cause no one knows being alone more than Sunset Shimmer and so they finish they lunch and continue to hang out until it was time to head home.

Sorry it’s been a while since I’ve been on I’ve been busy with a lot of stuff and I’m going to be working some stories like a Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle romance or a space sci-fi so many to decide lol.
And I hope you all enjoy yourself and your weekend.
Encounter
At the food court
The girls have just heard what has been said over the radio speakers and can’t believe that there is a little girl stealing food and possibly other stuff as well, they were wondering who is this girl and where is she living and maybe help her out somehow so after what was said they continue to eat and where chatting about what they had just heard, “I so hope that little darling isn’t being raise by awful people ” Rarity said to her friends which they nodded and then “If I ever find her I’ll sort her out myself or better her family , but then Applejack put her hand on Rainbow dash shoulder and said “Now hold on there partner we can’t just go up to them and give then a good ol rodeo ride ” While they were talking Sunset was thinking about that girl and where she is living but she thought that she couldn’t be living where those piles of cardboard are if so she might now where to go.
After a 4 and half hours the girls finished their food, then they went and got a few other things and played at the arcade, and so they got theirs stuff they were outside of the mall taking a photo together to show where they were and smiling of having a good time so while everyone was getting to head home there was dark clouds clouding over their heads and covering the nice day that everyone else was having, most of the girls have brought their own cars with them cause they didn’t know if it was going to rain but they are glad they brought them but sadly Sunset Shimmer didn’t brought her car cause it was a a nice day and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky but still that didn’t stop her from getting to her home, but then Applejack and Rarity went over to her and ask “Do you want a ride home Sunset ” both of then had ask at the same time, they look at each other, blush a bit and giggle, then looked away from each other and then focus their attention on Sunset who had a smile on her face, and had a chuckle at the scene and responded “Thanks for the offer girls but I don’t live far away, besides there’s plenty of shelter for me to get into cover from the rain ”, “But Sunset darling this weather will surely ruin your entire hair style Rarity reply to that answer, and so it started to rain and everyone got into their vehicles Fluttershy in Rarity Sudan, Rainbow Dash in Applejack truck and Pinkie being Pinkie was going from one place to another and so they allowed Sunset to walk home so they all said their goodbyes and went off in different directions.
So while Sunset was making her way home with her shopping in her hand and hopping to get dry as soon as possible, while she was on her way she keeps moving to dry places to get out of the rain till it’s time to move so when she was about to make a move she notice that across from where she was, there was the pile of cardboard it was getting wet not just from the rain above but also from below but then a strong wind came it was getting in her eyes and then it blew the cardboard pile away revealing a little girl being curled up in some sort of cloth blanket, then the girl turn around trying to see what else to cover up to be warm but then she spots Sunset across the road from her, her eyes were wide as shock to be notice from another person so in a instance she got up and started to run at that moment Sunset saw her running while, she reach out her arm and said “WAIT!!! ”.
So Sunset started to go after her hopefully help her in any way she can, the little girl keeps on evading Sunset when ever she gets too close around the corners but then there was a metal fence in her way she try’s to climb it but then her hair got caught on some lose wire and she screams in pain and crying while trying to get free, but then Sunset’s caught up and slowly approaching the girl while putting her stuff down and says “Don’t worry I’m going to help you, if you let me help you with her hair ” and the little girl just nodded and so Sunset tries to help her untangle her hair but it wasn’t working but then Sunset caught in sight with her right eye a store and probably thinks there could be something to be useful. Then she looks at the girl and says “Don’t worry I’ll be back in 5 minutes don’t worry ” she went to the store as fast as she could, the girl that was caught in the wire was getting wet cause of the rain and hopefully that person would come back and do something and after a while Sunset came back with scissors and she uses then to cut some hair hopefully she would be free and it works so now the little girl was standing in front of her saviour with one hand on the back of her head rubbing where her cut hair is.
After a while of silence Sunset finally said something “Do you have someplace to live ”, “…..no ” reply the girl “ while the rain was coming down Sunset though to herself “I can’t leave her alone better bring her with me until then ” and so Sunset offers her hand, while the other was picking up her stuff and smile to the little girl and ask “Do you have a name mine is Sunset ” after she said that she was examining her black skin, purple hair and green eyes just like what the live radio had mention.
The girl was whipping about what to say so instead she takes Sunset hand and thus the two of them were now walking out of the ally and on the way Sunset told the girl that she is taking her to her place, after a while they made it to Sunset place when they got in Sunset was putting her stuff at the side of her sofa and going into the kitchen to get something for her guest, while she was doing that the girl was examining the place still at the front door there was a big tv on her right side, there was some stairs bit to her left going up, behind the sofa there was a non-door way to the kitchen and there was a double door in front of her she thought to herself that’s weird, after a while Sunset came back with some milk, she places them on a table then noticed that the girl was still standing and ask “Come and have some to drink ” which causes the girl to jump but then notice there was white stuff on the table, then slowly makes her way across the room to the sofa and sit.
When she finally sits she doesn’t know what to do till Sunset was holding her a white cup to her and she doesn’t take it but then after it was getting late so Sunset takes the girl upstairs and lead her in to her bed room and says “It’s getting dark so you ready for bed I don’t have any pjs for you so your going to wear one of my T-shirt ”, the girl just nodded with that Sunset brought the girl to the bathroom that is beside her bedroom “Do you know how to brush your teeth ”, the girl shakes her head then looks down “Then I’ll show you, and you don’t mind that I give you a name ” response from Sunset, then the girl looks up with some hope in her eyes and nodded with some careful thinking she smile and said “I’ll call you Nyx ” then girl smile and with a quick hug with now she has a name so after with shown how to brush teeth they went to bed Nyx was on Sunset bed while Sunset was on a inflating bed sleeping Nyx said something with a hint of happiness before closing her eyes “Thank you ”
It has been 4 days since Sunset hang out with her friends, usually she would go out and take a walk, play her favourite game, even go to the library and look up the Daring Do books or even some astronomical books, but she couldn’t do any of that today cause she was on the street with Nyx by her side and taking her to see the Doctors.
While having Nyx at her home she notices that there were a few things odd about her.
First day
When Sunset was preparing breakfast, she was making healthy cereals for Nyx and the called out for her but there wasn’t a reply. So Sunset decided to go up to her room and see if she was up as she made her way up the stairs, when she got to the door she starts to slowly turns the nob and opens the door and enters.
When she was inside she saw Nyx was on the bed rubbing her eyes from sleep and then she turn her head towards to where Sunset is and winch at the sight of her. Then Sunset said to Nyx “Come on Nyx I’ve make some cereal for you come with me”. remembered why Sunset brought her here to her place, and so she got out of bed and was walking behind Sunset towards the kitchen.
They sat at the table in silence while they were eating breakfast Sunset was enjoying her cereal with lots of nutrition to be a healthy girl, but then she notices that Nyx wasn’t eating her breakfast she was wondering why she wasn’t touching it and so she decide to ask her what’s wrong. “Hey, Nyx why aren’t you eating your breakfast” ??. “I just never had something like this before, what is this stuff”?? Nyx response, “It’s a health cereal flavoured”, and so Nyx takes her spoon and dips it in the bowl grabbing what was in it, lifting it to her mouth and once it was in there she spits it all out while coughing and moving away.
Sunset saw this and was shaking her head at the scene, she then got up from her chair and walked towards Nyx and put her hand on her shoulder and said “Hey, it’s not that bad when you get to used to it” with a warm friendly smile, then she went towards Nyx bowl, picks it up and decides to have a taste and when she finishes she turns around to show that it’s delicious and was teasing her that if she doesn’t wants it that she will eat it all.
Nyx knows what she was doing and went up to her chair and starts to eat up all her cereal after that she was trying to hold it in, after waiting 10 minutes she went back up stairs to her room and close the door.
Second day
Sunset was in her room trying to find some old clothes to see what would be suitable for Nyx, after some looking over her clothes she finally fond a few that could fit her, so she laid them on the bed and called out for Nyx to come in her room after a while she came in and she looks nervous about something. “Um… you wanted me for something???”.
“Yes I did cause I wanted to give you some clothes to wear than what your wearing now” that was Sunset’s response to Nyx as she was looking down at her rag clothing bag feeling sad, but then she want over to Sunsets bed and looks at the clothes that were there alright she thought they might be ok, though she doesn’t know what to say.
After trying them on Sunset was surprise that they fit her and that she does haven’t to wear something old and raggy.
Day 3
While Sunset was coming downstairs to see where Nyx was hiding till she heard a noise coming from the living room and so she rushes to the source to see if something bad had happened, she was worried about Nyx. When she enters the living room, she wasn’t what she expected, she thought that someone broken in or something worse but it turns out that there was a book at the far end of the room from where Nyx was, and she had a sad face while be looking away and her arms cross while sitting.
Before Sunset went over to talk to Nyx she went over to the book and picks it up and on the cover was orange and yellow letters that said ‘Jungle Run’ it was about 3 teenagers who where trying to save the jungle from a curse’, Sunset got this book from a yard sale a while ago but then looks up at Nyx and then walks over to her to ask about but then she was cut off cause Nyx spoke.
“The letters and pictures aren’t being clear and I feel like they were doing it to be bad”
Sunset was surprise at that comment and was wondering what was wrong, then she had a theory and so she opens the book in front of her and to her surprise she was like forcing her eyes to read it but then she kicks it away and hump away to her room and slams the door.
Sunset was shock about what had just happen, the girl couldn’t read. She thought about calling a eye doctor about this, but she knows that she doesn’t have any paperwork for Nyx with her but hopefully she knows someone that can help her with this and with a set of clothes and so she wants to the phone and contact one of her friends.
Day 4
Sunset was walking down the street with the child, she was taking her to see a the eye doctor that her friend contacted and made a appointment for a free eye test, as a generosity token of friendship as they were walking along Nyx was looking scared at her new surroundings, Sunset notice this and was trying to comfort her like trying to hold her hand, Nyx notices and then looks around and held on to her hand.
After a while they arrive at their destination, then went in and as soon as they did a female employee walks up to them and ask in a calm friendly voice.
“Hello there do you have appointment or are you here for a free eye test”
“Well we are here for our 1 o’clock free eye test appointment” Sunset said to the female employee.
“Very well, I’ll ask you to wait at those chairs please”
As they went to the sitting area to be called for, after waiting like 5 minutes they went in the room they were looking all around the room the male doctor ask them.
“Who would like to go first” with a warm smile
Sunset looks at Nyx with a worry look and so she sigh and went up hoping to help her with her worries, after the appointment was done and the questions was answered the male doctor suggested to Nyx that she should get some glasses cause her vision is getting blurry and he writes a prescription for her and gives it to Sunset for safe keeping.
Sunset nodded and with that done they both went to the door and went towards to where Rarity boutique, Nyx doesn’t know about it and so they continue to walk and they didn’t say a word to each, soon enough they were in front of the boutique and went inside and saw a purple hair girl with a purple skirt with 3 diamonds on the side, she was humming in a happy tone sorting out one of her clothes rack.
When she heard the door opens with a ring of the door bell she turns around and saw Sunset walking in and smiles while towards her and says
“Sunset darling, how are you ?”
“Im fine Rarity thanks for asking, and thanks for helping me with the appointment, I didn’t know what to say over the phone “ she said with a little chuckle.
“You’re welcome darling it’s wonderful to extended my generosity to others so that they can be generous like me” with a hint of fashion dream to the stars. “So what are you here for, a new set of clothes or a chit chat since I don’t have many customers today”
“Well I do need a new set of cloths but it isn’t for me” with a nervous in her voice and she put her hands at her back and showed a new face to Rarity who had a shock expression at the girl in front of her and and Sunset spoke snapping her out of her froze state.
“Nyx meet Rarity, she is a good friend of mine who love doing favours for others, and Rarity this is Nyx who I fond and who was the one we heard on the news and I’m doing what I can to help her with her life and I promise to look after in my care cause I promise to her”.

Sorry it took so long I’ve been busy a lot with getting fresh air, sorting out Christmas presents, getting ready for the new year coming, visiting family and reading some stories not to mention that our boiler got broken for a couple of days.
Well here’s to the new year coming and I’m going to get back to writing my stories well enjoy everyone 🤠
