Nearly two decades after the Great Changeling Reformation, groups of un-assimilated Changelings still fight for their survival against the United Species of Equestria. The groups of rebellious changelings manage to hold their own against the combined forces of the USE, but one in particular, Vera's Legion, suffers heavy loses after a failed ambush against a nearby USE convoy. Wounded and afraid, a rebel of the Legion stumbles across a cabin on the edge of a lake. Though hostile and hesitant towards it's inhabitant at first, she thanks them for patching her up. Now the rebel needs to get to her Legions camp before daybreak so she isn't left behind - and she'll need help getting there.
