Twilight needs Spike to go to the zebra lands of Hyperborea to examine the dragons there and to gather samples of native plants and herbs. Simple in theory, but the little dragon is swept into a current of unexpected adventures when he gets involved with the right kind of people, that just happen to be involved with the wrong kind of people. An Indiana Jones-esque adventure with Daring Do and the zebra native Athena.
