“She doesn’t seem to care much about my status now.” Said Celestia, softly as to not interrupt the little filly’s rest, an amused smirk on her face.
“Please don’t be mad at her, sister. I pushed her to act like that… I didn’t want to lose her or scare her over it.” Luna jumped to her little pony’s defense, holding her prone form closer than ever.
The Sun princess chuckled before continuing. “I know that. How could I be mad? She just loves you so much, and you love her, that is all I need to know.”
“You… know? How long have you been spying on us anyways?” She tried to appear hurt, scowl even, but Eclipse had a goofy, satisfied grin and began nuzzling her while asleep; Luna could only feel at peace.
The older sibling looked down and scrapped the floor with her hooves. “W-well… I actually arrived not long after you.”
“What?!”
“You left so suddenly! What was I supposed to do?” The shadows of that past concern showed themselves in her voice despite her soft whispering. “Sit down quietly as my little sister bolts outside the castle, pale as if she had seen a ghost?”
“Sorry big sister, I-I was so worried I just… forgot to warn you.”
Celestia stepped closer to the moon princess, she perceived the smell of excited fillies even more strongly than she already did, but she paid it no mind. “I know now that you were concerned for her safety back then, there is nothing to apologize for.”
