Chapter 1: A normal night gone wrong?
Night started to fall over the land, there was a slight light in a small boutique. Inside the whole living room was dimly lit, the sound of the soft crackling fire giving off a sweet sense of peace. Inside there were two young women sitting close together on a couch by the fire. On top was Rarity, wearing her favorite white dress with her cutie mark engraved on the right side, flicking her tail at the sound of her girlfriends heartbeat. Rainbow Dash was leaned back on the arm of the couch, using her cyan hoodie to cushion her wings, her legs twitched as Raritys slick dress rubbed against her legs.
"Hey Rare?" Dash asked while stretching her wings. She began to run her slender fingers through the purple curls of Raritys hair. The hair was very smooth and silky to the touch, due to the many shampoos, conditioners and other hair care products that they have been drowned in.
"Yes Dashie darling?" Rarity replied. She lifted her head, placing a small kiss on her loves chin. Rarity moved her leg over Rainbows, to keep herself from falling off.
The rainbow haired teen, chuckled and adjusted herself, so they can see eye to eye. "Your gorgeous." she smiled contently, she loves looking into her loves eyes. They shined like diamonds, even in the dim room.
Rarity moved her purple curls and gave a light smile as well. "Tell me something I don't know. And you look 'dashing' as usual." the magic wielder close her eyes for a few seconds, before looking back at Rainbow.
Dash rolled her eyes and scratched the back of her head with her free hand, "You know i hate that. its really corny and-". Before she could continue her sentence, Rare pressed her lips against hers. Their tongues roamed around in each others mouths a bit as the flames flickered. Rarity was the first one to break the kiss and lay on Dashs breast which she used as a pillow, even though they were small compared to her, they weren't fully grown it seemed.
"As if their ever gonna grow." The fancy dress maker chuckled to herself. Rarity stared at the flames and hummed a soothing melody, one from her childhood. The cyan winged woman wrapped her rainbow tail around the purple curled one as she stroked Raritys hair once more. The room was quiet and calm. With the sounds of a song and flames, there was peace. Rainbow dash flicked her left wing, blowing a small cool breeze onto herself and Rarity.
"Rare?" Her voice was quiet as she possibly can, trying not to be disruptive.
"Hm?" Rarity answered. She opened one eye and looked ahead of her, the flames starting to put her asleep.
"The fires dying.” The cyan flyer said, pointing out the obvious. “Want me to-"
A newly manicured finger covered the rest of her words. "There's no need." as Rarity sat up, just resting on Dashs lap, flicking her curls out of her face. She closed her eyes, and chanted a few magical words in her mind, raising her hand which glowed in a light blue aura from her magic. In the corner of the fireplace, two logs lifted from its resting place and floated into the fire, instantly catching and crackled with the others.
"See? No need to get up Darling." Rarity laid back down on her loves breast, giggling as she sensed Dashs face, the normal 'you showoff' scowl, with a eye roll for good measure. It wasn't like Rainbow dash was jealous of Raritys gift and ability over magic, she was never one to like someone else show her off, but for her love, shes made an exception.
"Anyway, you know what this calls for?" Rainbow Dashs voice was a bit comical and seductive, as she lifted the dress makers face and stared into her blue eyes. Dash smirked and chuckled softly which echoed in the quiet living room.
"What does it call for Dashie?" Rarity batted her eyelashes, hoping that this would go her way, and to her bedroom. To try and secure her secret wishes, Rarity placed her elbows to her side and brought her hands under Rainbows shirt, rubbing over her stomach. Dash knew were this might go, she smiled even harder, and tried to sniffle a giggle as Rarity tickled her sides and her belly button.
"A scary story!" Dash shouted as she slid her girlfriend off of her to the other side of the couch quickly, and started the story before she could be interrupted. At first Rarity didn't pay attention, she rolled her eyes, debating with herself if she should leave, but she stayed anyway. For the sake of 'you owe me sex...'

But as the story grew longer, the night outside grew darker, the flames constant flickering gave the story more effect. "The girl ran into an abandoned house, using her magic to get whatever she could lift to bar the door." Dash said in her most spookiest voice, "But outside the door, the wolf said 'Little child, come out and play with me. I won't bite.' Then the wolf started to scratch the door." The winged woman now used her hand to imitate the paw on the door, her wings flared out a bit.
Rarity on the other side of the couch was trembling slightly, eager and scared to hear the end of the story. This reminded her of a time where all her friends were having a sleep over, Rainbow and Applejack gave every one nightmares that lasted about a week.
"As the scratching continued, the girl backed away from the door. Not knowing that the wolf had already found its way inside and was creeping up behind her. The girl stopped when she felt warm air on the back of her neck, and heard heavy breathing." Dash quieted her voice as Rare leaned in closer, showing that she wanted the story to go on. "She turned around ever so slowly until..."
The cliff hanger cause the purple haired magic wielder to bounce in her seat, "What happens Dashie?! What happens?!"
"The wolf goes to her throat!!" With that Dash pounced on her love as if she was the wolf, playfully biting her neck, hearing her loves cries and threats. They both kissed, made up after that and were just snuggling on the couch. Their eyes started to get heavy, and Dashs yawning wasn't making anything better.
"Can we go to bed now Rare?" , She asked before opening her mouth wide to yawn.
"Fine. I have a bunch of work to do tomorrow anyway." Rarity made a very quiet yawn as she got up from the comfort of Dash, and headed to the windows, "Just let me crack these, because you it gets hot in here very-"
Suddenly as the windows creaked open, a dark matter busted into the room, barely missing Rarity, but she still toppled over from the wind as it zoomed by her. Dash had quickly flown to her side and helped her up, "What the hell was that?!" Dash said as they both wondered where this creature came from and why did it land here. The dark blob started to shift, shaping limbs, and a head, the whole body started to look like a deformed wolf.
Rarity was getting more and more scared as the shape shifting continued, and Dash sensed this, so she placed herself in between them. And there on the floor, the body of evil was now picking itself up and turned its head towards the girls.
"Dashie? What are we going to do?" Rare whispered as she heard the beasts body snap as it moved and growl.
"Just stay quiet, I won't let it hurt you." Dash gently pushed her love towards the back of the couch and unfurled her wings. The beast was starting to follow Rarity until Dash whistled, grabbing its attention. "Hey! whatever the hell you are! I think its about time for you to get the hell out."
The winged woman slowly walked around the beast, knowing it would do the same in the opposite direction. The monster growled, showing off its many sharp teeth, as it crept around in the circle. Dash stopped, so did the beast, both staring each other down, "Come on. Make your move." She thought to herself, trying to find ways to win and get this thing out of here.
Rarity, behind the couch, had her hands over her ears, yet she could still the growls and Dash, the one risking her life for her, starting to piss it off. She could no longer just sit there and not know whats going on, on the other side, she turned around, not letting no more than her eyes go above the couches edge.
The creature was now furious, being toyed by its prey, its growls grew louder, its eyes red with rage and it finally posed himself to strike. Its body close to the ground, tail raised high in the air, drool dripped from its mangled maw.
"There it is.", Dash folded her wings a bit and got into the stance she would use if she were about to wrestle Applejack. Rarity saw the both of them tense and were ready to fight to the death. Her greatest fears were racing through her mind, would she lose her love? Her friend?
"Please be safe Dashie." She whispered, praying that something would turn for the better.
The dark creature growled again and then lunged towards Dash, trying to tear into her face. Rainbow Dash was quick enough to grab the beasts throat, protecting herself from death. Her arms and parts of her breast were getting clawed by the beast. She found enough strength, from adrenaline, to throw it into the raging fire. A wild roar rose from the monsters mouth as its fur caught on fire, but it quickly recovered and shook off the small flames. Now the beast was seething with rage and hatred and rushed straight for Dashs legs, its teeth sank into her flesh, tearing out chunks as in bit down again and again. She screamed then rushed into the air, trying to fling the beast off her, which still clung to her leg. Rainbow kicked with her other leg, but the monster wouldn't loosen its grip, she decided to fly into a wall. The impact of Dashs speed and the beasts weight, made the wall rumble and crack. The creature let go and fell to the floor with a thud and laid on the floor, the flier had a few short moments to catch her breath. Her leg was bitten so badly, she could easily see the bone, gnawed off and appear through her muscles, which weren't in any better shape. Rainbow quickly scanned the room for any type of weapon, but she couldn't find anything is the Boutiques living room. The beast and Rainbow grunted from pain, realizing that the fight wasn't over. Not by a long shot.
Rarity couldn't take the scene anymore and hid completely behind the couch, crying. There were a few crashes,a thunk and then a loud snap ending with a light thud on the other side, which made Rarity curious when every thing went silent. Only noise was the sound of something dripping on the hard floor and very heavy breathing. She looked over once more, only to see the beasts neck completely spun around, dead, and Dash covered in bite and claw wounds, one of her wings was also ripped terribly, her arms covered in blood, pieces of flesh were peeled of. Her face showed that she may not last long due to exhaustion and blood loss.
"Dashie?" Rarity said, coming out of her hiding place, and slowly walked towards Rainbow Dash. Dashs torn wing twitched as she heard her loves voice and turned to her. She smiled, also coughing up blood, it splattered on the floor.
"Rare..." She weakly said, limping a few steps. Her leg was badly ripped and bitten into, when Dash walked more blood and bits of torn muscles crashed with the floor.
"Oh Dashie darling!" Raritys eyes filled once again with tears as she opened her arms to accept her loves embrace.
Dashs steps slowed even further than before, which caught Raritys keen eyes, "I told you, nothing would hurt...you." She fell to her knees then her face, right in front of Raritys feet. Blood slowly encircled the flyer, and the puddle draped around Rarity. The dress makers face was stunned with horror, she quickly sat on her knees and grasped Dashs now lifeless body, trying to find any sign of life, checking every where for a pulse.
"Dash?" She gently shook the body that laid before her. "Dashie?!?”, She shook a bit harder, the back of her mind, she knew the truth. When there was no response, Rarity cried, letting the tears fall on what was once her lovers wounds. The dress maker stared down at her love and one of her closest friends. Even though covered in wounds and dead, Rainbow dash still had that smirk on her face. The smirk that was known all to well to everyone. Light appeared over the two from Lunas moon from the shattered, creating a silence that nothing dare break it.
She wiped her eyes and looked at the monster that killed Dash, "You. You did this to her!" She gently placed Dash back on the floor and went to the other lifeless body, dragging it over to where Dash lay. Its fur was rough to the touch, like a pine tree in the winter.
"Your the reason she died! But I will fix this! Its the most generous thing to do. She died for me, its best that i bring her back!" Rarity laughed manically as she turned to the small book shelf, that resided by a corner next to her work desk, and looked for a certain book, which may contain a spell that could reverse what has been done.
"There you are.", her voice cracked as she pulled out a black book, one given to her by Twilight for safe keeping and began to flip trough the pages, "Aha.." Rarity took a second away from the book, to look the dead that were on the floor. "This is worth it. She will understand when she comes back." She took the book and sat down in front of them, looking mostly at Dash, thinking more about what this spell would do to her lover.
"But at least you will be alive. And with me. You will never leave me again." She began to chant the magic words from the book, and darkness began to encase the room.

(Okay. I've been putting this thing off for a while now, due to the fact i keep adding stuff. Well I'm finally going to submit this chapter, so yea. Also i don't write often due to the fact that i can't, but i do hope you like and i do hope to add more Chapters. Leave comments and please help me out with grammar and what not.)
Chapter 2: an Explaintion
As Celestias sun rose over the horizon, slowly entering the closed and shattered shades of the boutique. The two women who inhabited it were asleep. Rarity was sitting on the floor, hair a mess, hanging from her brow also slightly covered in sweat. Her dress was covered in blood, and a few small cuts along the bottom. She was exhausted from wrapping Dash in bandages and useless fabrics that were laying around when she ran out, also from the spell she casted last night. On the couch, lay the wounded flier, Rainbow Dash was breathing very quietly, but breathing non the less. Dashs hoddie was torn terribly, her jeans as well. Rarity stirred in her sleep once the sun had found its way to her face, her eyes were opening very slowly, and she took her time getting to her feet.
"Dear Celestia, I'm tired." The dress maker whispered to herself, while wiping the sleep from her eyes.
She glanced around the room, seeing the blood that still needed to be cleaned, the book that had burst into a small cascade of flames, then looked to her lover as she slept. Rarity ran her fingers through the rainbow colored hair, seeing a small claw mark that laid on her loves cheek.
"Rare. Rare." Rainbow Dash whispered, slightly tossing and turning in her sleep. “Get..out. Run..” Rainbow gritted her teeth, bracing for impact as if she was being attacked all over again.
"Time to get up dear. Wake up." The dress maker lightly used the back of her hand to tap the still sleeping Dash in the face. “You need not worry about me. We are alright. Wake up.” Rarity brushed away her messy curls with her other hand, moving them from her view.
Dash would normally response by turning over and brushing Rarity off with one of her wings, but since that wasn't the case, she twitched her nose and turned her head away. Rarity giggled a bit, she found a weird pleasure in waking Rainbow Dash, it was amusing. But she knew she had to wake her love up, she went to the next phase, if the first one didn't work.
Sleeping seduction. “You forced me to do this dashie.” the dress maker said to herself. Rarity leaned into the outward ear of the sleeper, and whispered very softly, "Oh Dash. Right there, oh yes. Right there."
Dash chuckled in her sleep, now imaging that she was giving Rarity the time of her life. No matter what ever dream or nightmare she was having, it was interrupted by the sounds of moans and changed into something wonderful.
Rarity continued to toy with Dashs mind, "Oh yes. Give me more, more! deeper! oh please, Celestia yes!" Her voice got a bit louder and louder, to give the sleeper the impression that she was about cum. Rarity even threw her head back for added effect, she actually started to sweat and pant. This usually happens when Rarity does this, she used her memory of long nights to get a rather vivid image of them both spending "quality time' together.
Now Dash was smiling from ear to ear, her tongue stuck out slightly and it moved as if it was lapping up the juices that would have been slowly, but are now pouring out of Rarity.
The purple haired magic wielder giggled again, but sadly found that it was time to end this little charade, "Oh Dashie, i'm going to- i'm going to- OH!"
And with that 'oh' Dash woke up. she instantly sat up, attempting to plunge further into what she thought was Rarity soaking lips, only to have her sides sting in severe pain. rainbow quickly realized that she was on the couch and heard her seductive puppet master chuckle to herself.
"You know i hate it when you do that." The wounded flier said, with a scowl on her face. Rainbow dash looked around and past her lover, seeing the mess that came before them last night. Dash also took a minute to feel her body, without really needing to move, she felt a great number of bandages and a very few pieces of fabric in various place. Her leg and arm were wrapped the tightest, somehow the bones and lost muscles were back in their place. The torn wing was strapped down to her back, unable to move a single feather.Or even the few she still had. She didn't think she was this banged up, even when she have a fight with Gilda.
"Where? where did that thing go?" Rainbow Dash asked, when she noticed the small tuff of fur and ash in the corner. There was also a dark stained circle around it, giving the appearance of the floor being burned harshly.
Rarity cleared her throat calmly and with great speed thought of a white lie, "After you passed out, it turned into dust.", which all together wasn't a complete lie, after she gave the whole scenario thought.
"Oh. Ok." Dash started to lean back to the couches arm, grunting a bit as her bones and muscles got back into the position she was in all night. Rarity waited for Dash to try and scoot over slightly so she could sit on the couches edge. The furniture creaked with the extra weight, as it did when they both got on. The sun shone through the blinds, sending out warm rays, filling the room with the sense of summer.
"Oh Dashie, I was so worried about you." she said, finding her loves hand under the cover and held it tightly, feeling the fabric which covered her .
"What were you worried about me for? I told you that I wouldn't let anything hurt you." The cyan winged woman, gave her concerned lover a smirk and a wink.
"And you were right." Rarity leaned in close to kiss her knight in cyan armor, but once she got close enough to feel Dashs hot breath on her lips, there as a knock on the door. Dash grunted quietly, and Rarity looked at the door, wondering who it could be.
The boutique was closed for the day, she made sure to flip the sign last night before she passed out on the floor. Rarity sighed, then got up from her seat and headed to the door.
"Just give me a moment Dashie, I will quickly send who ever this is away.” But before Rarity could turn the knob to let whomever was on the other side in, she quickly tried to fix her hair. Also casting a quick bleaching spell on the bottom of her dress.
"Will you open it already!?" Dash shouted, getting rather impatient when the stranger on the other side of the door knocked again.
"You can't rush perfection." Rarity scoffed, fixing that last strand of hair, then opening the door. On the other side stood the royal Princess Luna.
"Princess Luna?! My word." Rarity said startled by the sudden surprise of royalty here, standing at her doorstep.
Luna wasn't very tall compared to her sister, Princess Celestia and she also didn't wear her royal clothes, just a midnight blue t-shirt with her cutie mark on the front and dark jean shorts, her tail flowed behind her. "She looks like she just came from school." Rarity thought. “how lovely. Casual and stunning all at the same time.”
The young princess cleared her throat, fixed her crown, and was preparing to use the royal Canterlot voice but decided not to, its still very early. "Good morning Rarity, may i come in? I need to speak to you for a moment."
Rarity moved aside, "Oh come in. Come in." she directed the Princess inside her home.
Princess Luna walked in, taking in the decor. she finally notices Rainbow Dash on the couch, the blood and ashes that took its place on the floor. she frowned slightly. "Hey. What up?" Dash said with a slight head nod. Rarity, who was walking calmly behind Luna, gave her lover a -'i swear if you embarrass me-' look. and with that Dash quickly added with a squeaky voice, "Your Highness."
"Good morning to you as well, Rainbow Dash." The moon bringer said with a smile.
"Oh, let me get you a seat dear." The purple haired dress maker used her magic, her hand covered again in light blue, to pull a few chairs from the kitchen and placed her guests in front of the couch, then her own by.
Luna sat down, fixed her hair, then cleared her throat once more, "I was doing a bit of flying last night, to check on everything here on Earth. But as i flew over this village, there was a something off. There was a sense of darkness."
Dash scratched the back of her head, while Rarity stared at the floor, her tail twitched.
Luna flicked her wings, and continued, "As the co-ruler, it was my duty to investigate. I circled and circled until i noticed that the darkness was mostly found here. Two forms, one appeared out of nowhere, and the other was created."
Rarity now started to shake a little, but Dash was very worried, for all she knew the beast that attacked was the first darkness, not the second. Luna noticed how lost Dash was, "There is something that needs to be said. Rarity?" She said trying to move her night sky colored hair, but it flowed back into place.
"Rare? Whats up?" Dash turned to her lover, and leaned in close, grunting as she did so, her head touched Raritys shoulder.
Rarity shuddered to Dashs touch, "I've done something terrible. Last night Dashie," She slowly turned herself to the weak flier, tears were already starting to flow down her cheeks.
"You died." She whispered.
Rainbow Dash was taken back by this. "How could i have died when i'm right here?" she could not comprehend all of this information. a numerous amount of questions ran through her mind, how can this be? was something like this even possible?
"Its true, i witnessed the whole terrible affair. Sad to say, nor did i do anything to stop it." Luna said crossing her legs, arms as well. "Rarity used dark magic to bring you back. So at this time i couldn't do anything to change the out come, and she was too far gone" Dash looked to the young ruler, about to speak before she was interrupted, "And before you ask, what she did was that she combined the beasts soul with your body."
Rarity was now bawling her eyes out, she slumped out the side of her chair and clung to Dash, who had to hold onto the couches arm for extra support.
"I'm so sorry Dashie! I didn't know what to do! I held you in my arms, feeling the life from you slip away. I knew there was a way for you to come back, I wanted you back with me. So i... So i..."
She couldn't speak anymore due to the fact that she was crying too hard. Luna sighed quietly, reached into her shorts pocket, pulling out a blue tissue that was printed with her cutie mark, and levitated it to the crying dress maker. Rarity didnt notice the cloth until Dash took it and started to wipe her eyes for her.
"Hey babe. Thank you."
Rarity finally looked up, her eyes were slightly red from all the crying, she stared into Dashs eyes.
"What?" the look of confusion on her teary eyed face, made Rainbow smile.
"I said 'Thank you.' You saved my life." Dash leaned in and kissed the tear coated magic wielders cheek, making her giggle.
"But i don't even know what i did, will do to you. We don't even know what that... Thing even was." Rarity whimpered, sniffing and wiping her eyes.
The young moon bringer sighed to regain attention, "I do. The beast that threatened your life," She looked to Rarity then too a pause, "And took yours," then to Dash, "Was a creature that was created by my evil side. Nightmare Moon. It would have been used to over throw my sister, a werewolf."
Rarity got up, not completely, just enough to sit on the couch, "A werewolf? Those beasts of folklore?"
Luna shook her head, "Yes. Nightmare moon had found a way to create those creatures. By using the same type of magic you used on Rainbow Dash. But on a grander scale."
"So," Dash flicked her good wing, and sat up a bit straighter, "what does that mean for me?"
"To tell you the truth." The moon Princess sighed "I don't know about that, but I know the side effects of the change. Since this attack was half of my fault, i will do my best to help you through this sudden change." Luna got up and headed to the door.
Rarity rose up and was almost tempted to stop the princess from leaving until they got a few more answers.
"I will come back tonight, then will i explain more. I must go a prepare. Good day, and i'm sorry." was all the moon princess said, before opening the door, walking out and opened her wings. But before she flew, she looked back at Rarity and Rainbow dash. another group of people that her eviler side was ruined and tormented. Luna sighed, waved good bye, forcing a hopefully reassuring smile towards the two behind her, then she takes off back to her castle home to prepare for her return.

Time passed ever so slowly in the boutique, waiting for the princess' return. with the shop being closed for the day, Rarity just cleaned up and took care of Rainbow. there wasn't much else to do.
"Upisy daisy Dashie," Rarity said, helping Dash onto the bed, also giggling at her own rhyme. Rainbow Dash chuckled as well, once she sat down on to the smooth, silky cover.
"Thanks Rare." the flier grunted, her whole body still coated with pain. her legs took a while to adjust to her sitting, instead of laying down. underneath of her bandages and cloth, she could feel bits of skin and pieces of muscle tissue, be slowly rejoined or remade.
Rarity sat by her loves side, and rested her head on her shoulder, making sure not to apply to much pressure. "What do you think Luna will say when she gets back?" she asked, glancing at the fabrics that coated Rainbows leg. the many bright colors were darkened with a huge amount of blood that they held back. "what have i done?" the fashionista thought to herself, feeling the small ping of guilt hit her heart. though small, it still stung.
"How the hell should i know? But, i do want to ask you something..." The winged woman looked down at her purple hair curled girlfriend, waiting for her to respond. seeing the normally brushed, combed and well groomed hair, start to fall out of place. the high curls were sinking into a slump, strands were every where on Raritys forehead.
"Oh Dash, if its about why- ahh!" Rarity squeaked out in surprised. she never finished her sentence because she was laid down by Dash who had her own wrists, laying her love back by force. Rarity looked into her loves light pink eyes, feeling them look into her soul. the eyes that gave her comfort and a sense of peace with the world. still full of life, but there was a great amount of pain encasing them ."Rainbow Dash... What is it dear?"
"Why," Dash started to say, seeing that Raritys gaze slowly avert, "Do you love me so much?" giving a light smile.
The dress makers face quickly turned back to Dash, "Why do i-" she took a second to chuckle, "Because there was always a connection between us that we have shared darling. Even when i first met you, that day you crashed here. I've been very fond of you." Rarity closed her eyes and chuckled, recalling that day.
She was working on a suit for a customer when Rainbow Dash crashed in, her normal routine. After apologies were given, Dash was often worked with Rarity to repay her crashing damage. with small things like, picking up fabric from the store and things like that. Time went on and on, and they closer and closer until they started to go out, and then to the present.
"That was a wondrous time." Rarity sighed, taking in the warm past memories.
"And this would make it better." Dash said, lowering herself until their lips meet in a warm embrace. Rarity moaned quietly as she felt Rainbow Dashs hand, leave one of her wrists and go down her thigh, feeling her soft skin. As Dash tongue roamed Raritys mouth, both fighting for dominance, the dress maker found herself needing air, so she used her magic to move her love back so they met eye to eye once more.
"Dashie, now now."
"Now now what? Come on."
Dash tried to look cute, but she knew that once Rarity used her magic, there was barely any hope of fun. barely.
"No. What if the princess catches us?" Rarity said, with a raised brow, wondering what Rainbow will say in response. even though she knew she probably not going to like it.
The cyan flyer thought about this for a few seconds, but then chuckled, "Let her look."
Rarity was about to rant about how awkward that would be, not focusing on her magic, letting Dashs lips resume their assault. She sent chills down Raritys spine, small burst of warm pleasure filled both of their cores. They kept making out, and teasing each other, either with wing, tails or magic. For what seemed like a hour, they laid there but this time Dash was the one to break the kiss. she just stared into Raritys lovely eyes. the portable jewels.
"Anymore questions?"
"Nah. I'm good." Dash rolled over to the other side of Rarity, laying on her back, grunting as she laid again on her bad wing.
"are you all right Rainbow?" Rarity asked almost instantly at the sound of her loves grunt, sitting up, preparing to act.
Rainbow dismissed Raritys actions, grabbed her arm, bringing her back on the bed. "im fine. dont worry." with the dress maker back where she started, Rainbow dash wrapped her arms around her, pulling her close.
Rarity, looked past her lovers face and to the window, seeing that it was getting darker by the second, "Luna might return a bit sooner than expected. Don't you think-"
But Dash interrupted with a light snore, she had fell asleep, holding her. it was a rare moment, to be held with love and security.
"Oh Dashie, my Dashie." Rarity placed a small kiss on the sleepers forehead, then she heard a small knock, which she expected to be the moon bringer returning. She carefully found a way out of Dashs grip, knowing not to wake her, and tiptoed down stairs.
"Coming." she said, hearing the door knock again, she used her magic to open the door ahead of her, and to her exceptions, it was Princess Luna.
"Greetings again, Rarity. Its time for the truth to be reveled." Luna said feeling more relaxed being in the darkness of the night. The princess was wearing what she wore earlier, but she also had a small bag that hung over her shoulder.
"Come in dear, come in. Rainbow is asleep upstairs." Rarity let Luna in and both of them headed upstairs, to find something one didn't think she would ever see.
The rainbow haired woman, was at the foot of the bed, but what looked like it would hurt with all her wounds, curled in a ball, flicking her tail and good leg every now and again. She grunted and growled quietly in her sleep, with a pleased smile on her face.
"Oh my..."
"It has already started. We need to wake her up. Now." Luna walked into the room ahead of her hostess, looking down at Dash, she quickly grabbed the rainbow tail and gave it a quick yank.
"Ow!" Dash exclaimed, thinking that her rude awakening was Rartiy, but only to see Luna, towering over her. She cowered slightly, bringing her body close to her.
"Rainbow Dash, its time. Sit up please." Luna said, keeping herself in check. Dash did as she was told, sitting criss cross, but with her bad leg dangling under her. Rarity went over to the other side of the bed and both waited for the young ruler to tell them the news, they were promised.
"Whats with the bag?" Dash asked.
Luna opened the bags main flap and fiddled inside it, to pull out a collar. it was one you would put on a dog, or any other animal.
"You will be needing this. This collar will help you, when the first transformation happens, when you hungers arise and for other things."
"Transformation?" Rarity looked at the princess, a bit confused.
"Yes. You will recall the story of the werewolves, transformation during the full moon. Sad to say, it will be very painful, but only for the first night." Luna levitated the collar to her subjects so they can get a better look.
Dash grabbed the floating object, and glared at it. It was really beat up, like no animal had worn it for years, or one was buried while wearing it. She cringed at the idea of her actually wearing it.
The dress maker, obviously noticed how filthy it was and shuddered, "You cant expect me to put that on my Dashie, do you?" Rarity fought against herself and her desires to clean the collar thoroughly, and adding her own touch to it.
"Yes, if you don't want her to attack everything that moves when she turns." Luna raised her eyebrow, being sightly annoyed at the fact of them both reacting in such a way. but she let it by and continued, "I know it looks bad now, but once she put it on, it will change that collar is enchanted. the first beast created by Nightmare Moon wore one similar like this."
Dash was very hesitant to put it on right away, she looked at it, seeing all the small tears and cut it held. but she slowly bringing it around her neck, and fasting it in. Once the loop was connected, the collar started to glow in a wide array of colors, until finally fading from a blue to cyan.
"See?" Luna quickly interjecting.
Rarity moved the back of Dashs hair for a better look, "Just like her wings and brand new as well." she thought, now speaking to the princess, "What else will happen?"
"Rainbow Dash will need to feed once the full moon rises, so i advise that she get to the Everfree Forest before then. Thats all the bad news." Luna said to her subjects.
Dash left her curiosity with the collar and looked back at Luna, "Bad news? So whats the good news then?"
Luna flicked her wings, "I wouldn't call it that necessarily. There are powers that you are granted and ones you can earn for a small time. Granted are: strength, speed, wounds will heal faster, hearing and many others. things that a dog would have but on a larger scale. Earned, you must taste the blood of someone, based on their, personality, work or whatever else, you will gain powers beyond imagine."
When the young moon bringer finished, Rarity grew a bit worried about the powers that her love will get, she wondered what can she give?
"To earn powers i just got to taste blood?" Dash said while tilting her head.
"Just a taste, any more than that, and you might eat whomever.so be careful." the moon bringer flapped her wings a few times before letting out a small sigh.
The flyer smirked, "And wounds will heal eh?" Rainbow glanced at all of her wounds and chuckled with anticipation, soon theses horrible scars will be mostly a distant memory.
"Yes, but these wounds will take time, due to you not having your first transformation. just not as long as they would normally, so they will heal at an accelerated rate."
The dress maker arose from her seat, and headed to her dresser. Dash wondered what she was doing, Luna already knew. Rarity picked up a needle that was resting on her needle cushion, and pricked her finger. As soon as the incision was made, Dash already smelt the blood and found herself very hungry for it.
"There is also tales in folklore that, there can be one to tame a beast, correct?" Rarity didn't look to her guest but felt her head nod.
"And the first one to give blood, to said beast will be able to control it."
"If the master is some one close to the beast and is offered, then yes." Luna gave a slight frown, hating this whole situation.
"Lovely." the dress maker whispered, with a small smile creeping on her face.
Rarity turned around and pointed her bloody finger towards Dash, seeing her eyes grow wide, her tail curled to her side, her tongue slide out to the side of her mouth.
"Dashie. As my first act of forgiveness, i want you to taste my blood." she started to walk towards her love, the blood on her finger, dripped to the floor as she walk, "Let me be the one who has to clean up your mess, the bodies of those whom you've eaten, let me be the one who will keep you safe from evil this time. As you did for me."
Rarity was now in front of the newly cursed Rainbow Dash, her finger a few inches from Dashs face.
"Rare..." Dash didn't look up from the blood coated finger, and she didn't try to hide her concern.
"Dashie, please. Don't make this harder than it needs to be."
The cyan flyer first looked away, but found it very hard not to focus with her loves blood staring her in the face, so she looked again at it, leaned in ever so slowly, ready to lap up the dress maker warm red life.
Luna knew that this would happen and saw no need to stay any longer. she nodded her farewells, knowing that they weren't paying much attention to her now, but it was for good measure and she headed to leave the bedroom. Luna stopped in the doorway when she heard a moan, she quickly assumed that it was Dash, realizing the blood was sweeter than she could have ever imagine, the princess felt her wings slowly begin to extend and unfurl, so Luna now quickly left the boutique, and flew off into the night once more.
