The ballroom lights had dimmed to let the spinning disco ball and skittering lasers stand out, giving the affair a club-like atmosphere. Smoke billowed from the corners of the room, untouched by the throbbing bass of the DJ booth. All of the well-dressed dignitaries and Canterlot elite knew it was time to shuffle off their airs and let the music take them.
Princess Celestia was seated at the head of the room with her sister beside her. The haze of boredom over their faces disappeared at the first thrums of the much more modern club-mix. Celestia’s eyes turned to look over Luna, and she felt her breath catch. In the smoky atmosphere that was blooming around them, the Princess of the Night shone like a glittering jewel. Hers was the perfect outline of elegance and serenity.
Princess Luna felt her sister’s eyes and looked up. Until now, she hadn’t noticed how deep the pink of Celestia’s pupil went. There was a spark there, guiding the pupil as it roamed over her form. A blush crept up her cheeks, turning them a faint purple. Why was she looking at her like that? It was hard to ignore, but what proved more difficult to look away from was her sister’s majesty. Like the sun she raised every morning, Celestia was the image of magnificence, radiant and graceful with immense power brimming just under the surface.
After a deep breath and a brief scan over the room to make sure no one was paying particular attention to them, Celestia leaned in close. Her muzzle gave a friendly, loving bump and nuzzle to Luna’s before motioning towards the dance floor. She never broke eye-contact.
That nuzzle had exactly traced the line of Luna’s blush, only serving to stoke it further. The Princess of the Night gulped once to try and settle her nerves, but she could hardly help but timidly shuffle her hooves. It had been so long since the pair had danced together, much less in front of a crowd. Still, she could hardly say no to that look.
Without a word, the pair rose from their party thrones. Their approach to the center of the dancefloor was in time with the beat, and they were gracefully able to give a little stretch without making it obvious. Celestia kept very close to Luna, nearly hip to hip, as they went. Ponies parted like water, giving polite bows on the down beat.
Celestia’s wing unfurled and curved around Luna’s face just as they were about to reach the center. The feathers all kept tight so that no one could see. Luna stopped immediately and gave an inquisitive look to her sister only to feel a tender kiss to her lips. She gasped into it.
Luna returned it with a little extra smooch. Her wings were stiffening, but she knew the risks of showing emotion at the wrong time. She watched Celestia’s wing curl back just in time for the song’s chorus to begin.
They separated and became mirror images of each other. One hoof up, then another. A half turn in to face each other before landing back to four hooves and bowing deep. The steps were done with such precision that it was clearly practiced, but the surrounding ponies either didn’t notice or didn’t care.
Following their bow, they approached one another and floofed out their wings. As they passed, their wings extended to give them another window of privacy. Luna took advantage of it by offering her sister another tender, quick kiss. It was enough to darken Celestia’s cheeks at last.
They turned again after crossing one another and got on their back hooves. Their front hooves met and kept each other stable as their back hooves stepped in time with the music. In order to keep balance, their wings and tails went back and scattered the light of the disco ball.
After a deep breath, they pushed off of one another, flipped in the air, and rode the intensity on their wings for a bit of flight. Celestia flew upside down, and Luna flew above her so that their chests were nearly meeting. Trembling, the Princess of the Sun reached out with her hooves and wrapped around her sister.
Once together, they went into an upward spin. Their wings fanned and curled around them as well in an intimate embrace. The force of their trajectory made them a blur, perfect for allowing their hooves to trace up and down each other’s sides.
At the zenith of their climb, they reluctantly let go of one another and gracefully floated back down to the dancefloor to the pounding applause of the other ponies. No one would dare dance while the Princesses were putting on such a show. They hardly noticed the admiration, however, as they were too busy trying to catch their breath and looking deep into the other’s eyes.
They kept staring while dancing in a circle, facing each other, bopping and grooving with each throb of the bass. Invisibly, little beads of sweat traced down each of their blushing faces. Celestia was struggling, biting her bottom lip and keeping her wings tight against herself now to keep them from floofing out. That only lasted until Luna leaned in to boop snouts.
The Princess of the Sun’s wings floofed out to either side and stayed stone-hard. Luna’s followed suit, though whether it was to help mask her sister’s embarrassment or the result of her own unfettered attraction remained unknown to Celestia.
Feeling the excitement of treading so close to getting caught along with the growing arousal, Luna motioned over towards the ballroom’s exit with her head. The coat check-in was close-by, and their guards would never dare let anyone in if they so requested. It was Celestia’s turn to be nervous, letting out a nervous laugh before nodding.
Their exit from the dancefloor looked like the finale of their dance. They broke into an easy gallop towards the door, criss crossing each other on every other beat. Like before, the ponies around them made plenty of room, honored to watch their Goddess-Princesses dance together.
Once at the edge of the crowd, the pair turned and locked their horns together like dueling swords. Magic in pink and blue swirled up from each spiral. Celestia would never admit it, but her horn was always extra sensitive, especially when using magic. Their spells climaxed at the tip and sent a torrent of combined energy towards the disco ball.
The guests applauded thunderously as the ball expanded dramatically and sent even more laser lights over the floor. They were so inspired that they filled in the gaps made for the Princess’ display and began to dance again. No one except the guards at the coat room door watched the sisters exit.
The pair made a hasty excuse to the posted guards, something about an important royal conference that could not, for any reason, be interrupted. Dutifully, it was accepted without question, and the pair was let into the coat room. Like mystical wardrobes of old, either side of the spacious room was blanketed in coats, cardigans and suit jackets of all kinds. The lights came up automatically upon entry, but a spark of Luna’s magic shut them off again.
Celestia immediately rushed up to her sister and pushed her down, cradling the fall stiffly with her wings. Luna sat up slightly, supporting herself with one hoof while her sister closed the distance. Their kisses were a flurry of unbridled passion, like an ancient box finally opened wide to let out its forbidden stores. Tongues pressed and played, sharing a taste of citrus and chocolate.
Luna’s free hoof traced over her sister’s chest lovingly, feeling the rapidly beating heart underneath. Her legs were spread and ready, and they both could feel and smell the arousal hanging around them. Celestia broke the kiss and started trailing them down the side of her sister’s cheek, then her chest. The Night Princess moved her hoof to hold her sister close as those kisses trailed further and further down.
Celestia paused at the end of the trail and looked up with a pleading look. Luna bit her lip and hastily nodded, whispering her consent before crying out her name. With permission granted, the Sun Princess kissed Luna’s folds over and over again before teasing her tongue inside to taste. Underneath, the midnight colored alicorn shuddered and curled her stiff wings to hold Celestia while her own hooves fell to her side.
Using her magic and her hooves, Celestia gathered as much of her sister’s arousal as she could and slathered it over her horn. Her nerves sparkled, making her eyes roll up into her head for a moment. Luna gasped quietly as she realized what her sister was planning. She braced herself and spread her legs as far as they could go.
Carefully, Celestia lowered her head and nudged the tip of her horn against Luna’s folds. Her eyes flashed up to her sister’s to make sure that the pace and intensity of it wasn’t too much for her to handle. With another bit of magic, the horn began to gently vibrate as it pushed in inch after inch. Luna’s wings curled tighter over her sister as she trembled and huffed in delight.
Those porcelain hooves held at Luna’s hips as she continued to press inward. The curve of her horn explored softly, lubricated enough as to not cause pain, but definitely thick and long enough for the Princess of the Night to squeeze against and feel. At the points where Luna squealed more, she pressed in and vibrated more, searching for just the right spot.
There was a sudden flurry of knocks on the door. Celestia’s ears perked, recognizing them immediately. Twilight Sparkle. She always knocked that same way when she was excited about something. Fear crossed Luna’s face as she looked down, fear of getting caught or not being able to finish. Determined, Celestia drew back as if she were stopping, only to thrust in again, and again.
Though the knocks continued, they were ignored. The name cries and pleading moans quieted but didn’t dare pause. Celestia was going faster now, rocking and riding, feeling her sister’s tight squeeze.
More magic began to light up Celestia’s horn while she plunged in. All of those tingling nerves were building up a magical climax of her own, all while Luna wrapped her back hooves around her sister’s back to pull her in, mouth agape in delight.
At once, the pair became an eclipse. Luna’s velvet-lined walls squeezed as the vibrating, glowing horn met that twisted center of nerves deep inside. She squirted more arousal while Celestia’s magic pulsed into her. They held each other tight as the sensation of orgasm stole their bodily control for a moment, and as soon as they finished, they kissed to quiet their moans from listening ears.
Later, a mane bedraggled Celestia shared a coffee with Twilight while the servants cleaned up the ballroom.
“That was some party!” Twilight confessed, none the wiser.
“It sure was,” Celestia replied, watching her sister exit towards her tower to attend her nightly duty.
