“What? It'll only be for a little while, Spike.” Trixie tapped the dragon's head. “I’m not doing anything bad, I promise. I'm just going to get ideas for some new magic tricks. Besides, I know you like them a lot!”

"The waffles were amazing, by the way," Trixie added. “You are quite the chef, Spike.”
After holding her gaze for a while longer, Spike finally cut it off and sighed. “Okay, fine. But please, don't get into any trouble nor tell anyone that I left you alone in the library. Twilight will kill me if she finds out.” Spike opened the door wide to let her through.

After fifteen minutes of researching, Spike appeared in the room to say goodbye and left to do the shopping just as he had said, but not before imploring her again not to do anything weird or dangerous. For a moment she was tempted to ask him about what she was actually looking for, but she didn't want to let the cat out of the bag, so she decided not to.
Once Spike was gone, Trixie decided to search on other sections of the library. Maybe there was something in the biology section that could suit her interests. Trixie walked over to the desk and placed one of the books on the desk while pressing the other firmly against her groin.
Spike, seeing the title of the book, raised an eyebrow.
“‘Botanical Studies of Coniferous Plants, Volume 3’? I thought you were looking for spells for your shows.”
A bead of sweat trickled down Trixie's forehead. She was so desperate to find a couple of books to cover herself that she hadn't even noticed the ones she'd picked up.

Actually, that was her initial intention once she found the book with the spell she wanted, but her impatience plus the fact that she was supposed to be alone for a while, made her decide to try the spell immediately. Spike blinked a few times, trying to understand Trixie's words, and finally nodded slowly. The unicorn then removed her hand from the dragon's mouth.
“And no, I'm not a ‘guy’. I'm a mare through and through,” Trixie clarified as she crossed her arms before pointing her gaze at the large bulge in her groin. “Well, except for this. But the point is that this is a temporary spell.”
