Spike's Seranade

Previous Chapter

Spike and Aria sat on either side of the bed, Aria eating out of a bag of chips as Spike told the story of how she had ended up being thrown into the human world.

"But oh no, Twilight had to go all super spy commando; I don't know how she snuck into the castle or how she snuck me out, but I'm betting it was mostly teleportation spells and other such crap, all I do know is she knocked my ass out and next thing you know I'm trying to court a siren,"

"I'm not gonna say you're failing," Aria noted, "I mean, I don't know you that well, but if you can keep a seven mare harem in check with regular orgies, it's clear to say your not bad at sex, and I've got no problem with the old bump and grind if I do end up joining in, but as a human, you sure they won't find this body kind of...gross?"

"They'll just need some time," Spike replied, "Twilight and I both used to find Humans odd to look at, but I'd never go so far as to say gross, maybe weird, but I'm sure they'll be calling you exotic within a week, maybe within a day if we're lucky," Aria finished off her bag and tossed it to the side, she was about to lick her fingers clean of cheese dust before halting, looking up at Spike unsure, and then holding her hands out to Spike.

"Oh, are you ready to start already?" Spike asked as she put her hand around Aria's outstretched arm to keep it steady before gently licking her fingers. Aria squirmed a little as Spike slowly licked each one clean, then licked at her hand; Aria showed no sign of wanting to stop or go, so Spike set the ground rules.

"Just ask me to stop if things go too fast," Spike told her before going back to licking; slowly, Spike made her way up to Aria's wrist, then her arm, then her upper arm, then her neck, her cheek.

Aria took several deep breaths before turning her head and letting Spike's tongue enter her mouth; despite having been turned into a Human, Spike's instincts still kept their godliness, knowing exactly how much tongue would be too much and how much wouldn't be enough.

Spike enjoyed herself for a moment before pulling away; Aria took a few deep breaths before shaking her head. Spike respected the need for distance and pulled away from the Siren as she tried to catch her breath.

"You doing ok?" Spike asked, taking care not to touch her.

"I'm fine," She said, trying to figure out if she should spit or swallow the overflowing saliva in her mouth. She swallowed before shivering slightly, "Come on, let's keep going," Spike frowned at the demand and leaned back against the headboard before holding out her arms.

"You come to me this time," Spike decided, "See if you can get to a kiss on your willpower," Aria leaned forward, her hands shaking as she held onto Spike's chin; she leaned forward, closed her eyes, and then shot away like a rocket, almost falling off the bed as she flopped onto her back. "Thought so," Spike noted as Aria screamed in frustration, "There's no shame in holding no attraction towards me; we can just try to wait Twilight out instead of using the magic,"

"But this is so stupid," Aria punched the side of the bed because her only other option was Spike's legs, "You're a sexy lady; you got all the right curves, you got that weird thing going on between your legs, and I know that'll make it hella interesting but...but..." Aria tried to put it into words, and Spike threw out her theory on the problem.

"But we just met," Spike asked.

"Yes," Aria cried out, "It just feels so...forced and slutty to just ride you for the sake of power," Aria's frustration was nearly tangible, but it led Spike to smile.

"So what you're saying is you wanna sleep with me, but you want it to be on your terms, not for the sake of a powerup?"

"Yeah," Aria took a deep breath, "Just give me a second; I can force it, I can-" Aria shut her mouth mid-sentence when she felt something stick to her neck, a pink glow entering her field of vision as a feeling she hadn't felt in what felt like years surged through her, Magical Power.

"Perfect," Spike cheered as Aria looked at her baffled.

"But...we didn't-"

"You need to be willing to do it," Spike noted, "But at the same time, being unwilling to do it for a cheap handout also constitutes the same reaction from me, frankly saying you don't wanna just sleep with me for the sake of power, but you do wanna do it on your terms is maybe the best way to say you're interested in me," Spike got off the Bed. Aria got to her feet, shaking slightly as magic surged through her body.

"Now, sing me a serenade," Aria tired, letting out a few notes, and when an actual musical tune came out, the dam burst. She started singing out a tune, as she was usually providing background music for Adagio; it was the only thing she had on her mind. Spike didn't recognize the tune, but it was for the song Adagio had used to start the battle of the bands.

"I can sing," Aria almost looked like she wanted to cry, and she pulled Spike in and assaulted her cheek with several kisses, "Oh thank you, thank you, thank you!!!" Spike accepted the kisses happily.

"Ok, ok," Spike laughed as Aria kept the kisses going, "Let's save the mushy stuff for when we're in Equestria and working on our own dime; let's plan a catastrophe,"

The Crystal Empire was in a total uproar as the Royal guard emptied a known spot for one of Spike's cults to meet up; after cleaning it up, Cadance received the report that there was no sign Spike had been near the premises recently.

"Keep searching," Cadance was visibly a mess; the panic of the situation had caused so much commotion in the empire that she had even gone so far as to forgive Shining and let him back into the bedroom after making sure he had nothing to do with the disappearance. He had helped prove his innocence by denying being let back into his bed until Spike was found; Shining himself was currently making his rounds, visiting some of the farmer's houses that kept the Empire fed, seeing if Spike had maybe gotten carried away trying to find something other than berries to eat.

"She never left the room," Red had told Cadance outrage; having lied to Spike about her plans, she had hidden behind a pillar and been watching the door when a table turned into a guard and knocked on the door; she had tried apprehending them but had been hit in the face with a stunning spell before the guard teleported away.

Upon returning, Autumn helped her up, and Blue rushed into the room, finding it empty, with a thin layer of powder that Blue had found out induced sleep; the powder was so strong, in fact, that Blue had yet to wake up from her contact with it.

With Blue now in the castle hospital wing and Spike gone, the other Kirins, along with Solar, had begun tearing the castle apart and would soon move on to tearing the empire itself apart if nothing could be found of Spike in the castle.

And making all of Cadance's problems just that much worse was Twilight, claiming to have been napping in a motel room with such a smug look on her face that Cadance knew immediately she had the culprit.

"If they start moving out to tear through the empire, I'm telling them you slipped up and that it's definitely you," Cadance snaped as Twilight calmly sat in a chair, watching from afar. "And I will help them stomp a mud-hole in your ass; you're not a child anymore, and this temper tantrum of your's is getting wildly out of hand; Spike identifies a girl now, and you don't want her to, so cry me a river, be an adult and stop this already,"

"He's cursed," Twilight replied stubbornly, "And when I bring him back as a Dragon, and he thanks me, I'll be expecting an apology,"

"And if she comes back as a Dragon and goes back to the Grove to get re-Kirined and declare war on Equestria, I'll be the one who tears your castle apart room by room; see how you like having to deal with that mess!" Cadance rubbed her temple, having already contacted Twilight's friends, Applejack and Fluttershy, who were still traveling back to Ponyville.

Rarity had been in Canterlot and was trying her best to do a one-mare search of the castle due to Twilight's ordering her guards not to aid her but not to stop her. Leaving Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash to enlist Starlight to try to find out where Spike might have been. Starlight had, in turn, sent a strongly worded letter that no one had told her any of this was happening but had later said Ponyville was currently Spike-free but that she might just not be finding him because she hadn't met the new Spike and was basicly scanning for and old echo of the original Spike and hoping it would snap onto the new Spike.

Just as everything seemed to be heading for the worst possible outcome, Sunburst burst in, taking a few deep breaths before passing a note from Starlight to Cadance and taking his leave, going back to his current job of babysitting Flurry.

Cadance read the note and found its contents to be the most helpful thing she had received in the almost full day since Spike had vanished.

"So," Cadance said, looking over at Twilight sternly, "Starlight says she just realized the portal you made to travel back and forth to Sunset Shimmer world is missing, wanna talk about that?" Twilight gave the guiltiest look ever, and she realized her face had been given away by Cadance's expression and shot back firmly.

"You'll never find it," Twilight retorted. Cadance took a deep breath before lighting her horns.

"I have found where Spike is, and now need a few volunteers to help me convince Twilight to hand over the proverbial key," Twilight got up, charming a teleport spell when Nirik Autumn Blaze teleported into existence behind her and jumped onto her back, grabbing Twilight's horn, her magic eating fire causing the spell to fizzle out.

"I will shove your own horn up your ass," Autumn cried out; Twilight, having used a fire-repellent charm on herself after the incident with Rainshine, had false bravado for a few seconds before Autumn began pulling Twilight around by the horn as the door to Cadances study slammed open.

"Stomp a mud-hole in her ass," Cadance demanded as Solar stayed back to avoid getting burned; having forgotten to ask Spike for the enchantment, she watched as the hoard of angry Niriks beat Twilight down; Solar was delighted when Cadance cast a fire-repellent charm on herself and Solar, and the two happily joined in on making sure Twilight's meddling was put to a good and thorough end.

Blissfully unaware that her time in the human world was already on a thin timmer, Spike and Aria sat on the statue that housed the portal back to Equestria. Aria had set up everything in advance, saying goodbye to Sonata and promising to visit if she got away with the plan scott-free, and then having one last bonding moment with Sonata as they trapped the powerless Adagio in their apartment, with Sonta having already moved her stuff and Aria packing all she owned in a backpack, The two laughed at her powerless screams and departed on a positive note.

Having decided that Spike was a little too nude for a school, and Spike herself noting she no longer had scales to get in her way, Aria had appropriated some money from Adagio and taken Spike on a quick thrift, Still rocking her Pink Bath robe Spike now had a pair of pink Sweat pants, and a pink tank top with the words Love God written in Golden cursive, to add a little zest to it Spike had scored a pair of pink sunglasses with long pointed ends, Now looking like a retired Anime villain Spike felt she was ready for her and Aria's new debut song.

Aria had taken the microphone to the school speakers and was able to use it from a distance thanks to her new magic, the school day was starting, and Aria saw Sunset talking to this world's version of the elements, Twilight included; Spike was interested to note that she also had a little doggy Spike with her.

"Let her rip," Spike whispered. Aria took a short breath, did a quick warm-up, and then turned on the microphone. Aria had warned Spike that Adagio had been the groups songwriter, and since they didn't have any songs about fighting about love, she had taken an old song and huridly parodied it. Spike recognized the tune as the one she had been humming after getting her magic back and had already been told by Aria that its name was 'Let's Have a Battle (Of Romance). Spike assumed it had originally been about the battle of the bands, as that had been the main craze when the Sirens had first shown up, but it seemed that changing one line had done wonders for changing the meaning of the song in its entirety.

As Aria sang, a light pink smoke began billowing out across the school, and pretty soon, the school was in an uproar of unrequited love and toxic feelings of both the masculine and feminine kind.

Sunset burst out of the school, having noted Aria and her new 'friend' earlier; she and the others had played it off as her trying to move on with life, but the song resinating from across the school proved that judgment to be an error.

"How'd she get her magic back?" Sunset was visibly baffled; her friends had all split up for class. She had no idea if this new magic was affecting any of them or if those affected by it were stalling them. Twilight proved it was probably the latter when she and Spike had to bare the door behind them to keep Flash's advances at bay.

"So I take it this is what you guys were talking about with the 'evil singing' then?" Twilight questioned, "Because if so, I totally get it now," As more toxic love flowed across the school, Aria could feel her power growing, only sharing it with Spike instead of her two siblings. Aria felt the power grow far faster than it had the last time she had attempted it, with all the negative feelings flowing into her, while Spike soaked up all the positive ones.

Aria had only just finished her song when the power reached that of the end of the battle of the bands; she felt her body morph as wings grew, she gained pony-like ears, and a third much longer ponytail formed on her head. The only difference was one she couldn't see, as her eyes were glowing pink, and little hearts were echoing across them, as though she was trying to hypnotize anyone who looked at her.

Spike had a similar experience as her Kirin ears returned, but past her hair getting longer, she was disappointed to find nothing else much had changed. "Well, that bites," Spike muttered at the realization that she didn't get a horn, "Why does my transformation suck so much? Maybe if I went Nirik? No, I don't trust my robe not to burn up in this stupid world,"

"Aria," Sunset called out as she and Twilight ran up to the two, leaving Spike behind, the small dog somehow blocking the door, "Stop this now,"

"No," Aria replied; Spike chuckled at how blunt she was.

"I like her; she's fun," Spike decided as she waved to Sunset.

"Who are you?" She asked as she gave Spike a once over, "Another Equestria reject or some poor fool who stumbled across a magical item,"

"Technically both, I guess," Spike muttered, "Look, I could try to explain it all to you, but it would be faster if you used that magic book to ask Twilight, not that Twilight, my Twilight," Spike huffed, "Geez that sounded stupid saying it out loud,"

"You're an enemy of the other Twilight," Human Twilight asked.

"I tried so hard to make peace," Spike snapped back, "But it was kidnapped this, and thrown into another world that! I didn't even do anything other than change what gender I identify as, and I didn't even call her out when she failed to get it right,"

"And what do you call this if you're so peaceful?" Sunset asked as she motioned to the school behind her.

"A threat," Aria replied, earning a laugh from Spike.

"I love how forward she is," Aria gave no visible response to Spike's words, having gone full 'whatever' mode as soon as she was in public.

"Either call Twilight or realize that so long as me and her stay together, there's not much you can do to stop me from causing chaos; since I absorbed negative energy, and she absorbs positive energy, all your little rainbow beam would do is make her stronger, and since I'm using her as a fuel source, it would also make me stronger in passing," Aria stared down at Sunset, "You have five minutes before my next set, so get a move on,"
