Tommy Lawrence Swan, a shell of the man he once was, was laying face up on the ground. Dried tears adorned his face, his ribs were showing under his thin, pale skin.

His once, thought to be friends, had abandoned him. At least, that's how he felt. Of course he would, after being friends with them for so long, it can't NOT hurt. And yet, when he first found out, after they explained their 'reasons', he reacted in a bad way, cussing and cursing them out.

He experienced the full brunt force of his long dormant kept depression. It had reawakened not long after they officially cut him out of their lives, and not even his favorite show that had saved him once before, could save him again.

It's been two, and a half months now, and the world has been getting worse and worse ever since the war started, which is how he is so thin now, though. His Mom couldn't afford him, so he was kicked out to live on his own.

Back to the present, though, Tommy was breathing hard. He had been hit by a speeding car, and the people didn't stop once for him.

He hurt all over his body. But then his thoughts traveled back into his dark mind. The feelings overwhelmed his senses, that he didn't even feel himself cutting into his arms, until the sound of the glass dropped to the pavement

He sighed. In relief, disappointment, sadness, or exasperation, he didn't know. But there's no need for him to worry about it now. He started laughing, at his situation, but happiness was not present within him. Not at all.

His vision began darkening. He'd begun accepting he'd probably never see anyone he loved, or made friends with again, and closed his eyes, as he felt his blood circling around his body.

Until he heard a voice. A voice he knew, yet didn't know at the same time, someone he hadn't heard since he was cut from the lives of those he thought were his friends.

His eyes opened, his vision still darkening around the edges, but he saw a crying 'spirit'. His creation. His Tulpa. His imaginary lover. She was there with him, pulling him up into her arms, and hugging him tightly.

"Y... You're going to be okay! Hold on, for me, alright? We're... We're going home.", She cried out, her tears accumulating faster than he would have thought possible. His vision kept darkening, blurring, until he could only see her glowing blue eyes. He felt her lips upon his own, her grip tightening around him.

And then..... Light. Light flashed through his eyes, nearly blinding him, when he felt himself being carried in the arms of someone.

Tommy looked at his arms, attempting to find the source of what had finally killed him before. But, the cuts were gone. He felt like he was brand new.

Yet, he didn't feel all that good about it. He looked around, trying to find his creation, now awake enough to panic. Where was she? Was she only an illusion his dying mind thought up in a last effort to her him up?

But then, his eyes landed on her. She was sleeping, dried tears of her own marring her face, curled up next to him. He found what had been carrying him, it was a stretcher. But then he realized something.

He wasn't on Earth.

Tommy awoke to darkness. He was about to panic again, until he felt a hoof on his shoulder. His eyes turned, and were greeted with his sleeping creation, who kept close to him all night.

He calmed. He then gazed down at himself. He was still human, though healed up pretty well, he's even gained a little muscle and fat back into his body. At least now, he wasn't skin and bones.

His thoughts wandered. How did he get here? And then he thought, why did he kill himself? He's accepted he was dying anyways, but now that he's still alive, he can't help but be ashamed of what he did. What happened? Did his Mom find his body? Did his family even know he was dead?

He brought his hands to his head, covering his eyes. He would not cry now. Not again. Internally, he wasn't able to help it, but he slowly closed in on himself. He was self conscious, as the last words his previous friends had said to him resurfaced. 'You're a Toxic Friend'.

He doesn't know if he can make friends like that again, and if he did, what if he was Toxic? What if-

"Tommy.", He nearly jumped out of his skin. His eyes turned, and found them locked on to his creation, who was now awake. And glaring at him hard. "Don't you ever, EVER, think that again about yourself. Please, don't do that again. I can't lose you. You deserve better than them, understand?", She said, rather forecully, but Tommy gulped, and nodded. He still wasn't sure with himself, but he'd do anything for Speda. So he'd try for her.

He went to speak to her, tell her he would indeed try, but... He couldn't. His voice croaked with effort, notifying him that something was wrong, but he didn't know what. He'd have to remain silent for a bit, until his voice returned. So instead, he nodded.

Speda hugged him again, and he felt his neck become a bit wet. That was her tears, not quite dry anymore. He hugged Speda back. He told himself he wouldn't leave her again.

Then, outside the window, the sun slowly rose over the horizon, keeping on going up high, until it rested in the middle of the sky. That, was Celestia raising the sun, letting him know that he was in Equestria. He would try to live out the rest of his life in the Pony world from then on.
