Ðage Nighϯs' Beginning

My first story, feel free to post constructive criticism

My name is Ðage and I am here to tell you a story, a story of my past.

It was a stormy night as a mare carrying a foal rushed through a flooded forest path, trying to get through the windy gale. She clenched her foal to her chest, trying to protect if from the the hail that had begun to fall, she began to be pelted by balls of ice causing her to cry out in pain.The balls of ice pelted the mare's face, She screamed in pain. She never gave up however, Walking through that flooded forest path in the shivering cold. She had wrapped the the foal up in her jacket, to keep it warm. Suddenly a gush of water rushed down the forest track, causing the mare to trip and drop the foal. The foal thrashed about in the current as it began to down. The mare rushed after the foal, praying to Celestia that it would be okay, however, she knew the foal wasn't going to survive but She pushed that thought to the back of her mind as the current thrashed her about. she wasn't going to give up until she had her foal back in her hooves.The mare regained control of herself and ran forward, fighting the deadly current. she ran down the track until she could see a rock that halted the water flow,  she began to look for the foal frantically. There was no sign of  it.

In the distance she saw a shadow in the forest, it looked like the shadow of a full grown stallion, she began to run towards it, trying to get help. She stopped in her tracks when she saw the stallion's non-existent face, She screamed in terror and began to run the other way. Eight tendrils grabbed her, pulling her back, she thrashed about trying to free herself.

"Calm Down.." Said the stallion as she continued thrashing about, no intention of giving up as she screamed at the top of her lungs

"Please stop this!" he yelled. She didn't , struggling and squirming

"what do you want!" She screamed.

"Your foal is injured!l" he replied.

"Where is he!"she yelled.

"Shhh" Said that stallion "I stopped him from smashing into that rock, He is badly injured, however, I know somepony that can help".

"Who?" She asked worryingly

"Nurse Redheart" he replied

"Can you help me get there?" She asked

The stallion nods "I can get us there however, you have to close your eyes, I can not complete the process of teleportation when ponies are looking at me"

The mare closed her eyes doubtfully,  "He's probably some insane pony" She thought with a sigh

"Open your eyes" Said the stallion

He did what he said. As she opened here eyes, she saw that she was in a hospital.

A nurse rushed to her, worried about her injuries Are you oka-"

"The foal" she interupted as the stallion gave the foal to the nurse

"Oh my!" Said the nurse as she rushed of with the foal, other ponies gathering to help with the procedure

"I hope he will be okay.." Said the stallion

"Who are you?" asked the mare

"Slendermane at your service" He bows "Who might you be?"

"My name is Shadow Wing" She replied

Shadow Wing was very short, her mane was blue and her coat was black. She was a pegasus however preferred the ground over the sky. She worked as a maid. her cutie mark was a Silver platter.

Slender Mane was Tall, he had a white coat and wore a business suit. He was faceless and had eight tendrils that protruded from his back. His cutie mark was the operator symbol

"So how did you end up in that forest?" Slendermane asked

"I got lost on my way to Manehattan with Ðage" Shadow replied

"Dage?" Asked slendermane

"Ðage Is the name of my foal" she replied

"Oh okay, So are you you gonna be okay? You have a lot of cuts and bruises" Slendermane said

"Yeah, I'll be fine, I'm just worried about Ðage.." She said, frowning

"I'm sure he'll be fine" Smiled Slendermane

"I hope.." She said doubtfully

"I know Redheart she's great at this stuff" He ensured

"If you say so" She sighed.

It had been hours and still nothing from the nurses, Slendermane had fallen asleep. She got and wen to the coffee machine to get her 10th cup. "Please be okay Ðage..." she said tiredly as she sipped on her coffee Forgetting it was hot, she burnt her tongue. She threw it onto the ground, sighing as it spilled everywhere "Fuck.." She grabbed a handkerchief out of Slendermane's pocket and began to wipe up the mess. After she'd finished she threw it away and wen't to get another cup. The machine was empty She sighed and decided to rest her eyes for a bit. She laid on the chair and closed her eyes, before long she was asleep.

Shadow awoke and stretched her legs, yawning as she got up and walked to the counter "How is my foal?" She asked

"It's not looking good.." Frowned the nurse

"He has to be okay!" She yelled, waking Slendermane

"Well we can't be sure.." Said the nurse

"Calm down, I'm sure he'll make it." Said slendermane

"You don't know anything!" She screamed

"Calm down.." Slendermane said softly

"You don't tell me to calm down!" She yelled as she threw a potted plant at his head.

It smashed into his head which caused it his forehead to bleed

"Ahh fuck" He said to himself as he rubbed his forehead

She sighed "I'm sorry Slendy.."

"Its fine... I guess..." he said still rubbing his head

"So what brings you to the town of Manehattan" He asked curiously

"I'm heading to ponyville" She replied

"I've hear tales of the elements of harmony that live there" He stated

"Yeah, maybe I'll get to meet one" She said as she sat down.
