A butter-yellow hoof shoved itself into Twilight’s mouth. “Twilight,” Fluttershy started, “would you like to join our flock?” Twilight scrunched her face for a moment. After all, what did birds have to do with… Her eyes widened, she magicked Flutter’s hoof away.
“You… You don’t mean…”
“We do, don’t we Dashie?” Dash stroked Twilight’s side with her wing.
“We’re serious. I know I don’t like overly sappy, lovey dovey romantic stuff but… Flutters and I both like you ok? Like, like-like you!” She paused, “Oh and if you tell Rarity or Applejack I said any of that I’ll make you regret it! So don’t, capisce?”
Twilight said nothing, nodding only to acknowledge Rainbow’s threat. She thought of that night and how nice it was, and how much the two meant to her as friends. She hadn’t thought of them like that before. Tartarus, she hadn’t thought of anypony like that before. Maybe she was just too busy or oblivious or buried in a book to notice the growing feelings she had towards her friends.
“Twilight?” An abnormally nervous Rainbow interrupted her thoughts.
“Yes.” Twilight quietly responded.
“What?”
“I… I can’t deny that I have feelings for you too, both of you. My answer is yes.” She found herself being crushed between Dash and Shy in a hug. “G-girls.” She wheezed, “Can’t. Breathe!” The two released her and kissed her all over. The three settled in together, excited to sleep as lovers.
